Abstract
The invention belongs to the technical field of oral care, and relates to toothpaste containing green pricklyash peel extract and a preparation method thereof. According to the invention, the medical and edible green pricklyash peel extract is added into the toothpaste to replace the traditional chemical medicines, so that the effects of cleaning, resisting bacteria, whitening, relieving pain, diminishing inflammation and preventing moth can be achieved, and side effects caused by long-term use of the chemical medicines to consumers can be avoided.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of oral care, in particular to toothpaste containing green pricklyash peel extract and a preparation method thereof.
Background
This section is intended to provide a background or context to the embodiments of the invention that are recited in the claims. The description herein is not admitted to be prior art by inclusion in this section.
The existing oral care products with the effects of relieving pain, diminishing inflammation and preventing moth are mainly added with chemical medicaments, fluoride and other components to play roles of relieving pain, diminishing inflammation and preventing moth, and irreversible side effects can be brought after long-term use. Thus, there is a need for an oral care product that eliminates the above side effects, replacing the traditional chemical-added efficacy toothpaste product.
The green pricklyash peel is shrub of Zanthoxylum of Rutaceae. Comparison experiment:
the toothpastes of examples 1 to 3 were subjected to experimental performance comparison, respectively, and 2 types of conventional toothpastes without green pricklyash peel extract were selected as blank experiments, and the design of the comparison experiments is as follows:
(1) PH experiment: the pH paper or pH meter is used to measure the pH of the above examples, as well as conventional toothpastes, which should generally be acidic or neutral, and peracids or overbases may have adverse effects on oral health.
(2) Cleanability test: the above examples were compared with conventional toothpastes using artificial tooth models or eggshells, and the like, and colored by soaking with strong tea or coffee. Equal amounts of toothpastes of different samples were prepared, and the toothpastes were used to make a loop of each brush 20 turns in a certain area, and the effect of the toothpastes on removal of dental plaque and stain was evaluated by observing whether the model would be worn by the toothpastes.
(3) Antibacterial experiment: the antibacterial effect of the toothpaste can be evaluated by contacting the conventional toothpaste and the conventional oral bacteria, taking saliva of different human oral cavities, culturing the saliva for a period of time by bacteria, taking equal amounts of each sample of toothpaste, diluting the toothpaste, mixing the diluted toothpaste with the saliva, and comparing colony formation conditions, wherein the antibacterial effect of the toothpaste can be evaluated by using a bacterial culture medium and an agar plate.
(4) Oral mildness test: the above examples and the degree of stimulation of the oral mucosa by conventional toothpastes were tested using chemical methods or specialized equipment. This may include testing of human cells for effects on mustard oil or other components that may cause irritation.
(5) Tooth whitening effect experiment: the whitening effect of the toothpaste is evaluated by testing on artificial enamel or eggshells with colored solutions or dyes, and the effects of the above-mentioned examples and the conventional toothpaste can be compared by distinguishing the brightness or the image brightness of each sample through an image recognition technology by means of a computer.
The results of the specific experimental data are shown in table 1.
Table 1 comparative experimental data
Therefore, the cleaning performance, the mildness and the whitening effect of the toothpaste added with the green pepper extract are equivalent to those of the traditional toothpaste, and the toothpaste is remarkable in that the PH value of a sample added with 1 part of green pepper extract in the embodiment 1 is 9.68, and the sample is alkaline, so that the acid environment in the oral cavity can be neutralized, the problem of tooth sensitivity is reduced, and the toothpaste is suitable for people with more sensitive teeth; the green pricklyash peel extract added in example 2 was 10 parts, and the pH of the sample was 7.78, neutral, and suitable for most people. The green pricklyash peel extract added in example 3 was relatively centered and 5 parts, and the PH of the sample was 9.24, and was alkaline, and it can be seen that the more the green pricklyash peel extract was added, the more acidic the toothpaste, the better the PH of the toothpaste was generally neutral, and the PH of most of the toothpastes on the market was about 8.5-9, depending on various national standards related to toothpastes and the degree of tolerance of the human body.
In addition, according to the antibacterial experiment, a little residual bacteria is found in the sample experiment of adding 1 part of green pricklyash peel extract in example 1, 5 parts of green pricklyash peel extract in example 3 and 10 parts of green pricklyash peel extract in example 2, no residual bacteria are found in the sample experiment, and a certain common traditional toothpaste can occasionally find residual bacteria, which means that the more the green pricklyash peel extract is added, the better the antibacterial effect of the sample is, and it is seen that the addition of the green pricklyash peel extract can enable the toothpaste to have the antibacterial effect equivalent to that of the traditional toothpaste, even better than that of some traditional common toothpastes.
In conclusion, the toothpaste containing the green pepper extract can achieve the cleaning performance, mildness and whitening effect equivalent to those of the traditional toothpaste, and the antibacterial effect is equivalent to or even better than that of the traditional toothpaste, so that the toothpaste containing the green pepper extract can replace the traditional toothpaste containing chemical medicines, and achieves good cleaning, antibacterial and whitening effects. In addition, due to the characteristics of the green pepper, the toothpaste also has the effects of relieving pain, diminishing inflammation and preventing moth.
