背景技术
近场通信(NFC)是一组已建立的通信协议,其用于两个电子设备之间在4cm或者更近的距离(距离可以大于4cm,但是场强只测量到4cm)内进行通信。已知NFC读取器使支付设备在读取器的附近展示并通过感应耦合的方式从支付设备获取支付凭证(paymentcredential)数据。读取器具有发射场的天线。支付设备的天线接收该场,反过来将存储在设备上的数据传送至读取器。
当在重型运输交通工具(例如客用飞机)中安装多个读取器(比如,每位乘客一个读取器)时,我们意识到可能会出现各种问题。因此,我们寻求提供一种用于针对航空器的乘员舱使用的改进的非接触式支付读取器。非接触式支付终端可以在允许乘员对商品和/或服务进行支付的背景下使用,所述商品和/或服务可以显示/提供在诸如屏幕的显示设备上。
发明内容
根据本发明的第一方面,提供了一种非接触式凭证读取器,其布置为安装在(重型)运输交通工具(例如航空器)的乘员座椅的后部,其中,所述读取器布置为能够安装成后置安装或安装成前置安装。
读取器可以包括包含壳体的单元或框架,所述壳体包含处理电子元件。单元或框架可以为封闭的实体。
壳体可以布置为在壳体的顶部或者外表面容纳天线。
壳体可以为焊接壳体。
在后置安装的安装方式中,读取器位于乘员座椅的后背板的后面,所述背板在制造时优选地作为座椅的组成部分。
在前置安装的安装方式中,其最前面/最前部的表面安置在设置于座椅的最后面的背板中的孔或切口内,所述最前面的表面可以与所述最后面的背板齐平或基本齐平。
终端的最前部可以包括天线。
在前置安装的安装方式中,面板可以向前地设置于读取器的最前面的表面,面板可以附接至乘员座椅的后背板。面板可以向外地设置于乘员座椅的后背板。面板可以布置为向外突出于座椅的后背板。
面板可以由与乘员座椅的背板基本相同的材料制成。

读取器可以包括天线、存储器和/或处理器。

具体实施方式
参考附图,在附图中示出了非接触式支付终端的示例性实施方案。支付终端布置为以两种方式(即,前置安装配置或后置安装配置)的一种进行安装使用。
支付终端包含电路,所述电路使支付凭证接近终端的天线时能够被读取。天线为具有形成为铜条的精确几何轨迹的印刷电路板,所述铜条在电路板内形成为扁平线圈。它具有两个暴露的表面触点,所述表面触点经由压在暴露的触点上的两个弹簧销连接至包含在焊接壳体内的支付电子元件。终端还可以包括一个或更多个处理器,以驱动终端的功能。处理器/支付电子元件,更通常地,电子组件包含在壳体的内部,如图2中清楚可见。

在前置安装的安装方式中,单元安置在背板的孔中,面板组件焊接至封装天线的单元,因此防止进入单元(及其内部结构)后面。
面板的厚度有利地旨在与乘员座椅背板的厚度相同或基本相同,并且与乘员座椅背板的材料相同或相似。由于天线材料具有相同的厚度以促进电磁场通过,这意味着终端的主体部分或者框架部分可以用于后置安装的安装方式和前置安装的安装方式两者。
在支付终端的经典情况下,最终使用场景(其如何安装和/或安装于何处等)在开发之初就已定义。最终使用情况决定支付天线相对于终端的用户和对商品或服务进行支付的人员的位置。
然而,在航空工业中,这种先进知识少有人知,因此仅能够对使用情况进行猜测。就位置而言,支付终端可以是水平的、竖直的、位于座椅背板后面或者位于背板的前面。由上述支付终端所克服的挑战为提供一种能够有利地在绝大多数的情况下使用的单个终端。
上述非接触式支付终端可以通过提供单个天线系统而安装在许多不同的位置,无论单元装配在背板的后面或实际上安置在背板的前面。不同的乘员座椅可以有不同的构造,一些仅允许前置安装的安装方式,其他的仅允许后置安装的安装方式。
场测量过程的基准点对于单元的认证是至关重要的。在大多数情形下,设备被设计为使得天线处于受控且已知的姿态。这样可以在设计阶段考虑外壳对磁场的任何衰减,因此可以对电子元件、天线以及外壳的几何形状进行控制,以提供最佳的允许磁场。在航空器的情况下,设备的方向、设备所在的平面,更重要地,天线相对于定位平面(landingplane)的位置取决于安装方式(空间、头部碰撞标准和电缆布线等)。上述读取器允许根据设计而在背板后面以及在背板前面的情况(如上所述),从而确保天线相对于定位平面的位置。通过这种方式,每种不同的安装方式都不需要重新认证,从而避免了大量的时间和经济成本。

Claims (15)

7.根据权利要求6所述的非接触式读取器,其中,所述面板布置为向外突出于座椅的后背板。
8.根据权利要求5至7中任一项所述的非接触式读取器,其中,所述面板由与乘员座椅的背板基本相同的材料制成。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的非接触式读取器,其包括读取器,所述读取器包括面板,所述面板布置为使其位于读取器的最前部。
10.根据权利要求9所述的非接触式读取器,其中,所述面板的厚度与乘员座椅的背板的厚度基本相同。
11.根据权利要求10所述的非接触式读取器,其中,所述厚度在2.5mm至3.5mm的范围内。
12.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的非接触式读取器,其包括天线、存储器和/或处理器。
