A device for increasing the biodiversity of a river in accordance with claim 1, wherein: the water surface planting device comprises a water surface planting module (2), a connecting rod (4) fixedly connected with the outer side of the water surface planting module (2), a solar panel (5) fixedly connected with the top of the connecting rod (4), a supporting rod (10) fixedly connected with the top of the water surface planting module (2), a control unit (11) fixedly connected with the top of the supporting rod (10), a water pump (12) fixedly connected with the bottom of the control unit (11), a rotary spray head (13) is rotatably connected with the top of the control unit (11), the output end of the water pump (12) is communicated with the rotary spray head (13), and a water pipe (14) is communicated with the input end of the water pump (12).
