Abstract

Description
1.发明的领域
本发明一般涉及垫结构,特别是涉及床用的整体式床垫结构其包括内部弹簧结构,在该结构中具有不同抗压强度的弹簧用于形成具有多种不同刚度区域的床垫表面。
2.先有技术
某个时期已普及的标准床结构某包括一个支承箱型弹簧的框架。该箱型弹簧用于支承床垫。该床垫具有多种尺寸,并且采用多种方法制成。经证明人们非常需要的一种结构包括内部弹簧,该内部弹簧包括多个分别装设于连接成串的织物袋中的单独的螺旋弹簧。这种结构称为Marshall结构,在专利号为U.S.4234983,专利权人为Stumpf,并且本申请人作为该专利权的受让人的专利文献中描述了上述结构,该文献是作为参照而在这里引用的。袋装螺旋弹簧串可以很容易地通过在U.S.4401501号专利文献中描述的设备制作,上述U.S.4401501号专利的专利权人为Stumpf,而本专利与该专利转让给同一受让人,同样该文献也是作为参照而这里引用的。实质上,后一专利给出了下述教导,即通过将螺旋弹簧插入弹簧袋中,形成袋装螺旋弹簧串,上述弹簧袋是通过对适当的热敏织物管进行超声波焊接而形成的。螺旋弹簧串一旦形成,便可将它们按照所需的形式,比如波浪形,或其它形式进行布置,以便形成内部弹簧装配件,其中所有单独的弹簧的纵向轴线相互保持平行,这些弹簧按照在平面内呈矩形状的排列方式连接在一起,它们的端部位于共同的平面内。之后将具有规定厚度的适合缝制的泡沫材料垫覆盖于该内部弹簧装配件上,形成人可睡觉的平面状表面。最好,将内部弹簧的两面覆盖住,用侧边织物把相对的表面覆盖件连接起来从而形成整体式床垫装配件。
上述类型的床垫一般具有不同的刚度以便适合使用者的特珠需要。但是,到目前,其尺寸可用于双人的公知的整体式床垫,比如全尺寸,大号尺寸,或特大号尺寸的床垫的两个侧面仅仅具有一个相同的刚度。上述结构要求某个使用者对刚度的偏好作出妥协,如果另一使用者具有不同的刚度偏好的话。为了提供具有两种刚度的双人床,人们知道用连续的边界形成中心空调,在该中心空调中插入有两个不同的芯床垫,由此提供两种不同的床垫刚度,以便分别适合两个人的不同刚度偏好。在专利号为U.S.4449261,专利权人为Magnusson,并且本申请人作为该专利权的受让人的专利文献中公开了上述床结构。但是,这种床结构的缺点是:在边界部分和插入其内的床垫之间,以及在两个床垫芯之间形成有明显的缝隙,或间隙,该缝隙,或间隙会使使用者产生不舒适和/或不方便。另外,上述类型的床结构较复杂,其制造成本较高。
因此,需要提供一种整体式床垫,该床垫具有选定位置的,具有多种刚度的区域,而不无需具有分开的床垫芯的结构。另外更需要提供一种整体式床垫,该床垫具有多种刚度,最好是两个刚度,其制造成本可以比普通的单一刚度型床垫低。
发明的概要
本发明是通过提供下述的整体式床垫来改进已有技术的,该整体式床垫包括多个螺旋弹簧,该弹簧按照可形成单一床垫芯的方式布置,该床垫芯最好在平面图中基本呈矩形。在本发明的优选的实施例中,上述床垫芯包括第1部分,该第1部分的尺寸刚好适合第1睡觉人,上述第1部分包括具有第1预定抗压强度的螺旋弹簧。第2床垫芯部分与上述第1部分邻接,该第2部分的尺寸刚好适合第2睡觉人,该第2部分具有其抗压强度与第1部分的螺旋弹簧的抗压强度不同的螺旋弹簧。由于采用上述结构,可制成下述的床垫,该床垫包括单一的内部弹簧芯,但是它具有两种不同刚度的区域,分别适合两个人的特定偏好。同样,通过将多串由具有不同抗压强度的螺旋弹簧组成的相互连接的螺旋弹簧串进行适当放置,则可装配成符合任何个人需要的具有多种刚度的床垫。

优选实例的详细描述
参照附图,首先参照图1,床10包括框架12,箱型弹簧14和床垫16。最好上述床垫16按照已有技术中公知的方式制成,其包括多个袋装螺旋弹簧30,该弹簧将在后面进行具体描述,上述多个螺旋弹簧30按照在平面内呈矩形排列的方式布置。如图1所示,将上述螺旋弹簧30按照下述方式紧密填充在一起,该方式为:这些弹簧其纵向轴线A-A相互保持平行,并且其纵端31,32均位于共同的平面内,从而形成内部弹簧装配件,或芯20。可采用适合的约束条带22和角部件24以便增加芯20的形状稳定性。在芯20上按照公知的方式覆盖有板26,该板26可由泡沫材料与织物的缝合而成的制品,从而可形成睡觉表面。虽然图1未示出,床垫的底面的结构可与其顶面的相同,该床垫的底面包括与可内部弹簧芯共同延伸的缝制而成的盖板。顶面的盖板26通过由织物构成的连续侧边与底面的盖板相连接。
参照图2,可看到内部弹簧芯20包括多个螺旋弹簧30,每个螺旋弹簧30分别设置于织物袋33中。最好,该袋33由热敏织物管形成,这些袋通过下述方式呈一个连续性长条串34布置,该方式为:在相邻的弹簧30之间形成的腹部36处对织物33进行超声波焊接。最好沿腹部36按一定间距形成焊接点38,以便确保形成的袋装弹簧串34具有足够的强度。
从图3的平面图可很清楚地看到完整的内部弹簧芯20。具有适合长度的袋装螺旋弹簧30构成的弹簧串34按照紧靠填充的排列方式布置,以便形成芯20。通过已有技术中的公知的方式,可将多串弹簧34按照波浪形布置,此时相邻的串34相互粘接,以便使芯20基本保持矩形状。
按照本发明,采用具有不同抗压强度,或刚度的螺旋弹簧30形成内部弹簧芯20,比如可采用具有第1刚度的弹簧30’可装配成螺旋弹簧30的第1螺旋弹簧片34,以便形成芯20的第1区域46,如图3所示,该区域46包括位于中心线50左侧的半个芯20。同样,采用具有与上述螺旋弹簧30’的刚度不同的第2刚度的螺旋弹簧30”装配成螺旋弹簧30的第2螺旋弹簧34,以便形成位于中心线50右侧的芯20的第2区域52,如图3所示。上述结构可在下述情况下使床垫16具有一个内部弹簧芯,而有两个不同刚度的半部,该情况指无需在床垫内部设置两个单独的芯的床垫装配件。
另外,本发明的床垫16包括成整体的内部弹簧芯20,该芯20的外部形状与普通的床垫中的内部弹簧芯类似,并且其内部没有缝隙,或裂缝,而该隙,或裂缝会对使用者造成不舒适。按照优选的形式,其中半个床垫16中的螺旋弹簧30可由下述的钢丝制成,该钢丝的直径为0.063英寸,而相邻的半个床垫中的弹簧30由直径为0.083英寸的钢丝制成。上述结构可使床垫的两半具有明显不同的刚度,并且可适合两人的特殊刚度偏好。
虽然本发明的一种形式可以是由具有不同刚度的两个区域、或部分构成的床垫内部弹簧装配件,同样可构成具有任意数量的不同刚度的部分的内部弹簧装配件,以便适合使用者的特殊刚度偏好。因此,比如,可沿内部弹簧芯的纵向设置具有不同刚度的部分,以便对使用者的头部,身体或腿提供不同程度的支承。另外,相对内部弹簧装配件的整体尺寸,上述部分可为任意的尺寸。因此,如果一个使用者所需的床垫的较大部分的某一刚性大于另一使用者所需的相应值,则可按照此方式制作内部弹簧装配件。
上面已结合本发明的优选实施例对本发明进行了描述,对本领域的普通技术人员来说可理解,在不离开本发明的实质和范围的情况下,可进行多种变换和改进。因此,后附的权利要求应当覆盖落入本发明实质和范围内的所有变换和改进比如具有多于两个刚度区域的整体式床垫,该床垫适合满足对产品的需要和偏好。
Claims (5)
1.一种整体式床垫,该床垫包括:
多串袋装螺旋弹簧,这些弹簧串按照所形成整体式床垫芯结构的方式布置,其中每个袋装螺旋弹簧分别具有特定的抗压强度;
上述每串袋装螺旋弹簧串基本与每个其它串袋装螺旋弹簧串保持平行,所有袋装螺旋弹簧的纵向顶端位于与上述袋装螺旋弹簧的纵向轴线相垂直的共同平面内,从而上述弹簧的顶端构成床垫的顶部平面状表面;
上述多串袋装螺旋弹簧串中的袋装螺旋弹簧有选择地位于上述床垫芯中,从而具有特定抗压强度的螺旋弹簧按照所在床垫芯内部形成第1刚度区域的方式布置,而具有另一抗压强度的螺旋弹簧按照在床垫芯内部形成第2刚度区域的方式布置,上述第1刚度区域和第2刚度区域相互邻接,并且位于将上述床垫分隔成两半的假想线的相对侧边,位于假想分隔线的相对侧边的袋装螺旋弹簧串沿该线直接连接在一起,而在上述整体式床垫芯中,上述第1刚度区域和第2刚度区域之间保持连续,由此在上述床垫的平面状表面的两个不同部分具有不同的刚度,以满足两个同时用床的使用者对舒适性的偏好。
2.根据权利要求1所述的床垫,其特征在于该床垫包括下述的一个覆盖层,该覆盖层靠近床垫的顶部平面状表面,并且基本与上述芯共同延伸,从而在上述芯的顶部形成平面状表面。
3.根据权利要求1所述的床垫,其特征在于上述第1刚度区域中的螺旋弹簧是由直径为0.063英寸左右的钢丝制成,上述第2刚度区域中的螺旋弹簧是由直径为0.083英寸左右的钢丝制成。
4.一种制作床垫的方法,该方法包括下述步骤:
形成多个具有第1抗压强度的第1螺旋弹簧;
形成多个具有与上述第1抗压强度不同的抗压强度的第2螺旋弹簧;
形成第1串相互连接的织物袋,每个袋具有这样的尺寸和形状,使其可接纳上述第1,或第2螺旋弹簧中的一者;
形成第2串相互连接的织物袋,每个袋具有这样的尺寸和形状,使其可接纳上述第1,或第2螺旋弹簧中的一者;
将上述第1螺旋弹簧插入上述第1串织物袋中;
将上述第2螺旋弹簧插入上述第2串织物袋中;
按照下述的形状对上述螺旋弹簧串进行布置,该形状可形成整体式床垫芯,该床垫芯在平面内基本呈矩形状,上述螺旋弹簧的纵向轴线基本上相互保持平行,所有螺旋弹簧的端部位于一个共同的平面内,其中上述第1串螺旋弹簧这样布置,使其可形成上述床垫芯中的第1单独部分,该部分位于将上述床垫芯沿纵向分隔成两半的假想线的一侧,而上述第2串螺旋弹簧这样布置,使其可形成上述床垫芯中的第2单独部分,该部分位于上述假想纵向线的另一侧,位于上述线相对侧边的袋装螺旋弹簧串沿该线直接连接在一起,而在上述床垫芯中在床垫芯的两个部分之间保持连续,由此可形成床垫芯中的两个单独部分,这两个部分具有不同的刚度以便满足两个同时使用者不同的舒适偏好。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于该方法包括下述步骤:在床垫芯的顶部设置柔软的,弹性材料垫层,从而使该垫层基本与上述螺旋弹簧串的结构共同延伸。
