本申请实施例提供了一种前车起步检测方法及装置。该方法包括:获取前车在相邻两个图像帧之间的光流信息,对前车在相邻两个图像之间的位置进行追踪,以确定前车是否相对本车向前运动。从而提供一种基于光流信息的前车起步识别方式,有效提高前车起步识别的效率和准确性。
