背景技术

此外，本公开的实施例通过在电子消息内生成和显示自定义图形来改进电子消息传递软件和系统的功能。自定义图形可以基于用户标识符和一个或多个场景标识符来生成。例如，用户可以在电子消息(例如SMS文本或电子邮件)内输入一个或多个传统表情符号、文本和其它输入，并且系统将在电子消息内生成自定义图形，以替换输入。可以基于消息内的输入的定位来设定自定义图像的大小，允许自动生成更小或更大的图像并将其呈现给用户。
在一些实施例中，自定义图形可以基于从移动装置的传感器组件取得的传感器信息(诸如位置信息、运动信息、光照水平、温度等)在电子消息内生成并呈现。自定义图形还可以基于从社交网络取得的关于用户的信息和/或关于用户的情绪的信息来生成。自定义图形可以使用此类信息连同针对用户(以及用户的朋友)的个性化头像(avatar)来生成。例如，系统可以从日历信息和地理位置信息确定用户正在意大利餐厅中与用户的两个朋友一起庆祝生日，并生成示出三个朋友分享超大碗意大利面的微笑的头像的图形。在另一示例中，系统可以从用户的先前电子消息和社交媒体帖子(post)确定该用户当前在家中患有流感，并生成示出用户躺在床上且床上有一盒纸巾以及他/她嘴里的温度计的不愉快的头像的自定义图形。在该上下文中，“头像”可以包括与用户类似(或以其它方式相关联)的任何图像。此外，通过本公开的实施例使用用户相关联的头像提供了针对电子消息的个性化标准，这对于传统的UNICODE表情符号或其它标准字符是不可能的。

本公开的实施例可以生成并呈现自定义图像以供在诸如SMS或MMS文本和电子邮件的电子消息中使用。自定义图像还可以与在此讨论的SNAPCHAT故事、SNAPCHAT滤镜和短时消息传递功能结合使用。
图4A描绘了根据本公开的各个方面的示例性过程。在该示例中，方法400包括接收电子消息的内容(405)，取得用户标识符(410)，基于电子消息内容和用户标识符生成自定义图形(415)，呈现自定义图形(420)，以及发送包含自定义图形的电子消息(425)。方法400的步骤可以全部或部分地执行，可以结合其它方法(诸如图4B中的方法430)中的一些或所有步骤来执行，并且可以由任何数量的不同系统来执行，诸如图1和/或图7中描述的系统。

本公开的实施例可以取得(405)多个场景标识符。例如，参考图5C，用户可以输入两个场景标识符(眨眼表情符号525和飞舞的钱币530)作为到电子消息中的输入，其用于(结合用户的取得到的用户标识符)生成(415)用户的头像在抛撒钱时眨眼的自定义图形。
除了取得UNICODE字符(诸如表情符号)作为场景标识符之外，本公开的实施例还可以取得和分析文本、其它图像和视频以识别场景标识符。例如，在图5D中，用户输入惊讶的表情符号540和单词“坦克”545，系统使用其来生成用户头像坐在坦克550上的自定义图形。在其它实施例中，用户可以插入坦克的图像或视频代替单词“坦克”，并且系统可以执行对输入的图像识别分析以识别坦克并生成自定义图形550。
可以从电子消息内的输入取得(410)用户标识符。例如，用户可以经由用户的计算装置的用户界面输入他或她的名字以生成基于用户自己的头像的自定义图像，以及输入另一个人(例如，用户的朋友)的文本、图像或视频来使用用户的朋友的头像生成自定义图像。另外地或可替代地，可以基于存储在用户的计算装置内的信息来取得(410)用户标识符。可以使用任何此类标识符，诸如用户的全名或与用户相关联的用户名。用户标识符还可以是与用户的计算装置相关联的标识符，诸如唯一装置标识符(UDID)或广告标识符(IDFA)。
本公开的实施例可以根据任何其它期望标准(诸如图形在电子消息中的定位)生成(415)自定义图形。同样地，自定义图形的呈现(420)可以基于其大小。现在参考图5E，单独呈现的自定义图形(诸如图形555)可被显示为相对大于以与周围文本相同的大小在行内呈现的自定义图形(诸如图形560)或在一行文本的开头或结尾呈现的图形(诸如图形565)。在一些实施例中，自定义图形还可以显示为完整的图像(诸如图形570)。自定义图形的大小可以由系统基于用户输入或两者的组合自动确定。
再次参考图4A，可以通过因特网发送(425)包含自定义图形的电子消息，以便分发给一个或多个接收者。执行功能方法400的计算机系统可以与任何数量的其它系统和装置(包括服务器)通信。可以使用各种不同的通信协议和通信介质来执行此类通信，包括上面参考网络106描述的那些通信协议和通信介质。在一些实施例中，例如，与服务器的通信可以包括向服务器发送利用活动数据修改的图像。在图7中所示的示例性系统700中，可以使用通信模块740实现此类通信。
还可以将电子消息直接或者经由除因特网之外的另一种形式的网络发送(425)到另一用户的装置。另外，电子消息、自定义图形或这两者可以在预定时间段内呈现给用户和/或接收者，如上面参考短时消息更详细讨论的。

系统可以取得与计算装置的用户、用户联系人或其他个人相关联的头像信息(440)。如上所述，用户或个人的头像可以是类似于用户或个人或者以其它方式与用户或个人相关联的任何图像。除了图像之外，所取得的头像信息可以包括用户的任何期望特征，诸如用户的年龄、身高、体重、兴趣、偏好(例如，针对服装)，并且此类特征可以用于生成或修改用户/个人的头像图像。在各种实施例中，头像信息可包括与用户相关联的任何数量的不同图像，并且生成(460)自定义图形可包括在自定义图形内的此类图像的至少一部分。例如，用户的头像信息(例如，来自不同角度并且具有不同表情的用户面部的图像)可以用于生成自定义图像，诸如用户骑坐坦克(图5E)或踢足球(图.5F)。

例如，系统可以通过因特网识别此类条目，并对此类条目执行关键字搜索以识别指示用户情绪的词语，诸如“悲伤”、“沮丧”、“快乐”等。同样地，系统可以对用户发布的照片(例如，在用户的社交网络页面上)执行图像识别分析，并且以与基于上述生物度量组件使用的面部识别分析类似的方式识别面部表情。基于此类条目，系统可以生成反映用户的情绪的自定义图形(460)，诸如通过响应于确定用户悲伤或沮丧而示出用户的头像在皱眉的图形，或者响应于确定用户是快乐或兴奋而示出用户的头像在微笑或大笑的图形。另外地或可替代地，系统可以基于来自用户他/她自己的直接输入来确定用户的情绪。例如，用户可以键入输入(例如，经由用户的计算装置上的用户界面的输入装置)来选择用户的情绪。此类输入可以采用各种形式，诸如用户情绪的文本描述，和/或用户选择以指示他/她的情绪的图形(例如，指示用户快乐的快乐面部)。
除了关于执行与本公开的实施例相关联的功能的计算机系统的用户的信息之外，系统可以进一步取得或接收关于用户的联系人的信息(455)以用于生成(460)自定义图形。在一个示例性实施例中，用户的联系人被识别为与电子消息(例如，作为发送者或接收者)相关联，并且由系统取得(455)关于联系人的信息。此类信息可以从计算装置本身(例如，从电子地址簿)以及从外部源(诸如与联系人相关联的社交网络页面(或包含关于联系人的信息-诸如来自用户的社交网络页面))或联系人的计算装置取得。在一些情况下，联系人的信息可以包括联系人自己的个性化头像信息(例如，与联系人相关联的图像和特征)，系统可以在该个性化头像信息上基于联系人的头像信息生成自定义图形(460)以包括用于联系人的自定义头像图像。联系人的自定义头像图像可以作为自定义图形的一部分并与电子消息一起呈现(465)给用户。自定义图形可以进一步基于电子消息本身的内容生成(460)。例如，如果用户和联系人参与关于一起登山的即时消息讨论，则系统可以自动取得用户(440)和联系人(455)的头像信息并生成描绘用户和联系人一起登山的自定义图形以插入电子信息中。以该方式，本公开的实施例可以通过提供用户可以与他或她的联系人共享的动态的自定义的可视内容来极大地改进电子消息系统的功能。
系统还可以基于其它信息(诸如当前时间、当前日期和与用户或存储在用户的电子日历中的用户联系人相关联的事件)生成自定义图形(460)。例如，系统可以基于用户的智能电话或其它计算装置中的日历条目和用于计算装置的地理位置信息来确定用户当前正参与用户的一个联系人的生日聚会，并生成描绘具有生日蛋糕的用户和用户联系人的头像的自定义图像。
自定义图形可以以各种不同方式呈现(465)，诸如在电子消息内呈现。在一些实施例中，再次参考图5E，图形可以单独显示(图像555和570)，或者结合文本和/或其它图像显示(图像560和565)。在一些实施例中，一些或所有自定义图形可以由用户选择，诸如以超文本传输协议(HTTP)链接到因特网上的内容，或者以启动其功能的软件应用。自定义图形还可以作为可选图标或链接(如下所述)以及与媒体覆盖物(例如，SNAPCHAT滤镜)和/或电子消息的集合(例如，SNAPCHAT故事)一起呈现(465)。自定义图形的菜单可被呈现以供选择和包含在电子消息中，如图5F中所描绘的示例中所示。自定义图形也可以呈现(465)达预定的时间段，如上面参考短时消息更详细讨论的。
在一个示例性实施例中，自定义图形包括用户或用户的联系人的自定义头像，并且图形可由用户选择。响应于用户接收到自定义图形的选择(480)，系统基于用户或用户联系人的当前情绪生成自定义的响应图像(485)，并且经由用户的计算装置的显示屏将响应图像呈现(490)给用户。用户可以进一步选择自定义的响应图像以向联系人发送响应图像。
在响应图像的特定示例中，考虑在用户的地址簿中的联系人名字旁边呈现的用户联系人的头像。联系人的头像可被动态更新以指示联系人全天的情绪。选择用户联系人的头像图像可以呈现联系人情绪的潜在的信息(例如，如果Bob的头像看起来很悲伤，则“Bob今天未通过他的测试”，或者如果Bob的头像看起来很开心，则“Bob今天在他的比赛中获得第一名”)。基于联系人的情绪和/或与情绪相关联的潜在信息，系统可以生成一个或多个自定义的响应图像，用户可以通过选择联系人的头像向联系人的计算装置(单独或与电子消息一起)发送该一个或多个自定义的响应图像。例如，响应于上面的第一场景，系统可以生成通用的“加油”响应图像或更具体的“对这次考试很遗憾”响应图像。可替代地，系统可以生成通用的“祝贺！”响应图像或更具体的“祝贺你赢得比赛！”响应图像。响应图像可以包括用户的头像图像和联系人的头像图像中的一个或多个。在一些实施例中，可以生成可能的响应图像的选择并将其呈现给用户，从而允许用户选择用户认为最适合发给联系人的响应图像。响应图像可以以任何期望的方式发送到联系人的计算装置，诸如通过因特网直接发送给联系人的计算装置，或者发送到将图像重新路由到联系人的服务器。以该方式，与传统系统相比，本公开的实施例增强了用户与他/她的联系人之间的互动，并提供了讨论和互动的机会。
本公开的实施例可以向用户生成(460)和呈现(465)自定义图形，并且接收编辑(470)并修改(475)自定义图形。例如，可以生成自定义图形并将其显示在图形的菜单中(如图5F所示)以供用户选择。用户可以使用用户的计算装置上的用户界面的输入装置来选择自定义图形并应用编辑，诸如添加/移除文本以及进行图形编辑。图形编辑可以包括例如对用户的头像添加或移除特征(例如，向用户的头像添加/移除帽子或小胡子)，改变图像的大小或形状，将图形效果应用于图像(阴影、拉伸、音调等)，以及其它编辑。初始的自定义图形可以基于用户输入而被永久地修改(475)，或者将其保存为不同图像以供用户稍后取得。
软件架构

Claims (20)

基于用户标识符，生成包括多个自定义图形的所述图形菜单，其中，所述多个自定义图形中的至少一个自定义图形包括与所述用户标识符相关联的头像；以及
使得所述图形菜单被显示在所述用户界面的显示屏上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统，其中，所述操作还包括：
经由所述用户界面上的所述输入装置接收从所述图形菜单中选择在所述多个自定义图形中包括的第一自定义图形的输入；以及
使得所述第一自定义图形被显示在所述用户界面的所述显示屏上的所述图形菜单中。
3.根据权利要求2所述的系统，其中，使得所述第一自定义图形被显示包括：使得所述第一自定义图形作为对在所述用户界面的所述显示屏上显示的电子消息的响应而被显示。
4.根据权利要求1所述的系统，其中，所述操作还包括：
经由所述用户界面的所述输入装置接收包括用于图形的场景标识符的电子消息的内容；以及
基于所述场景标识符和所述用户标识符，生成第一自定义图形，其中，所述第一自定义图形被包括在所述多个自定义图形中。
5.根据权利要求4所述的系统，其中，所述操作还包括：
经由所述用户界面上的所述输入装置接收选择所述第一自定义图形的输入；以及
使得所述第一自定义图形被显示在所述用户界面的所述显示屏上的所述电子消息内。
6.根据权利要求4所述的系统，其中，用于所述图形的所述场景标识符包括以下中的至少一项：UNICODE字符，文本，图像，或者视频。
7.根据权利要求4所述的系统，其中，所述电子消息包括多个场景标识符，并且其中，基于所述用户标识符和所述多个场景标识符生成所述第一自定义图形。
8.根据权利要求4所述的系统，进一步包括通信模块，所述通信模块被耦接到所述处理器，其中，所述存储器进一步存储用于通过网络向服务器发送包括所述自定义图形的所述电子消息的指令。
9.根据权利要求1所述的系统，其中，取得所述用户标识符包括：分析在所述电子消息内输入的文本。
10.根据权利要求1所述的系统，其中，取得所述用户标识符包括：分析在所述系统的所述存储器内存储的与所述用户相关联的一个或多个标识符。
11.一种计算机实现的方法，包括：
由处理器经由用户界面的输入装置接收请求图形菜单的输入；
基于用户标识符，生成包括多个自定义图形的所述图形菜单，其中，所述多个自定义图形中的至少一个自定义图形包括与所述用户标识符相关联的头像；以及
使得所述图形菜单被显示在所述用户界面的显示屏上。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法，进一步包括：
经由所述用户界面上的所述输入装置接收从所述图形菜单中选择在所述多个自定义图形中包括的第一自定义图形的输入；以及
使得所述第一自定义图形被显示在所述用户界面的所述显示屏上的所述图形菜单中。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法，其中，使得所述第一自定义图形被显示包括：使得所述第一自定义图形作为对在所述用户界面的所述显示屏上显示的电子消息的响应而被显示。
14.根据权利要求11所述的方法，进一步包括：
经由所述用户界面的所述输入装置接收包括用于图形的场景标识符的电子消息的内容；以及
基于所述场景标识符和所述用户标识符，生成第一自定义图形，其中，所述第一自定义图形被包括在所述多个自定义图形中。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法，还包括：
经由所述用户界面上的所述输入装置接收选择所述第一自定义图形的输入；以及
使得所述第一自定义图形被显示在所述用户界面的所述显示屏上的所述电子消息内。
16.根据权利要求14所述的方法，其中，用于所述图形的所述场景标识符包括以下中的至少一项：UNICODE字符，文本，图像，或者视频。

分析在所述电子消息内输入的文本；或者
分析在所述系统的存储器内存储的与所述用户相关联的一个或多个标识符。
20.一种非暂态计算机可读介质，其存储指令，所述指令当由计算机系统执行时使所述计算机系统执行操作，所述操作包括：
经由用户界面的输入装置接收请求图形菜单的输入；
基于用户标识符，生成包括多个自定义图形的所述图形菜单，其中，所述多个自定义图形中的至少一个自定义图形包括与所述用户标识符相关联的头像；以及
使得所述图形菜单被显示在所述用户界面的显示屏上。
