Abstract

Description

钻削刀具
本发明涉及一种根据权利要求1的主要用于在金属上进行钻削的钻削刀具,该刀具包括安装在可调节的夹头中的周边的切削刀片,该可调节的夹头用来调节切削直径。
对于这种钻具而言,使用硬质合金制的切削刀片是公知的,该切削刀片通过机械夹紧装置固定在钻具上。按照许多已知的结构,切削刀片先安装在夹头中,其后,夹头被机械地、可逆地安装于钻具中。例如,在US-A-3 726352(和SE-C-347 673)中描述了这样一种结构,根据该结构,借助两组螺钉通过周边的夹头的定位,可对切削直径进行调节。当获得要求的直径时,通过特定的锁定螺钉将夹头固定。尽管这种结构已经令人满意地起作用,但多年之后却暴露出许多麻烦。两组螺钉的使用造成切削直径的不精确。而且,调节的范围很窄,更精确地说是在直到0.1mm等级的数量级上。这一方面是由于锁定螺钉容置在钻具中的钻孔中,所述孔的壁和锁定螺钉之间的作用确定了夹头的径向调节范围,另一方面是由于要使钻具的支撑衬垫相对于周边的切削刀片共同调节是不可能的。这种结构的再一缺点是:当要从钻头上取下夹头时,必须将锁定螺钉完全松开。
本发明的第一目的是提供一种钻削刀具,使其与已知的钻削刀具相比能够更可靠、更简单和更精确地调整切削直径。
本发明的第二个目的是简化夹头的拆卸。
这些和其它目的已经通过形成根据权利要求1的特征部分的具有槽和楔的钻削刀具的周边的夹头而达到了。
为了直观但并不限定的目的,现在将结合附图对本发明作进一步的说明,这些附图表示本发明的最佳实施例。
图1表示根据本发明的钻削刀具的从斜上方看的立体图,一个夹头以分解图的形式示出。

在图1中,根据本发明的钻削刀具一般地用标号1表示。适合地,该钻削刀具具有排出型,但一般用于所谓的BTA钻削也是有利的。该钻削刀具包括冠部或钻头2,尺寸连接部3和轴部4。该轴部具有外螺纹5以便用于以实质上公知的方式螺人到外部保持管(未示出)中。
所示的钻削刀具装配有三个携带刀片的夹头:具有周边切削刀片7的周边的夹头6,具有中间切削刀片9的中间的夹头8和具有中心切削刀片11的中心的夹头10。周边的切削刀片7产生机加工工件的孔的直径。相邻的中心刀片11与钻具的中心轴线相重叠,这是由于不希望有芯留下来。在旋转时,中间的切削刀片9的切削刀刃的轨迹与周边的和中心的切削刀片的切削刃的轨迹相重叠,以便获得从中心轴线到周边的连续的切削线。
钻削刀具中的切削刀片的数目可以大于或小于三个。这样,钻削刀具例如可以被制成具有4至9个切削刀片,当钻具包括两个支撑衬垫时,切削刀片的数目最好选为奇数。例如,已经发现三个这个数对于切削直径在20和105mm之间的牵连性、可用的寿命和平衡而言是好的折衷方案。
两个切屑槽开口到钻削工具的顶侧;一个共用的较大的切屑槽12用于周边的和中心的切削刀片,一个略小的切屑槽13用于中间的切削刀片。这些切削槽的下方的相对的端部最好开口于车出的内部切屑空间14(见图4),该切屑空间14具有截头锥的形式,具有向着钻具的顶侧向上车出的底面。
根据本发明,周边的夹头6以及周边的切削刀片7的工作切削刃可通过楔件15、被容置于槽17中的夹头的锁定螺钉16进行径向调节。与圆柱孔相对,该槽具有两个基本优点:一方面,当要调节切削直径时,锁定螺钉16可以在槽中径向移动,另一方面,通过简单地转动或旋转锁定螺钉16仅几转(即锁定螺钉无需完全去掉),即可将整个夹头从钻削刀具上卸掉。为了进一步固定周边的夹头以抵抗离心力的作用,槽17可以被成形为这样的形式,即其长度y径向向外地增加。以这种方式,一旦锁定螺钉已被拧紧,周边的夹头就不能被径向向外地抛出。而且,锁定螺钉16最好相对于钻削刀具的圆周切向径向向内的地倾斜一角度,如可在图5中看出,以允许螺钉头的底侧和相应的抵靠表面以及上下的槽开口分别具有不同的抵靠。
本发明必不可少的楔件15具有这样的厚度,即以轴向向下变窄的方式倾斜。该楔件轴向倾斜、径向内地与滑动导向的抵靠表面18(见图3)相抵靠,该抵靠表面18相对于钻具的中心轴线或旋转轴线适当地倾斜3°至25°之间。楔件15被螺钉19螺固于夹头上,该螺钉19穿过孔20插置于夹头中。孔20在轴向上是纵长的以便使楔件能够轴向上位移,因而使周边的切削刀片能够进行细微的径向调节。表面18的轴向角实质上等于楔件15的两个主表面之间的夹角,因而,处于与夹头座30相抵靠的楔件的侧边实质上位于轴向平面上,就象夹头座的底面。当获得了要求的切削直径时,周边的夹头便通过锁定螺钉固定在该位置。用于锁定螺钉16的夹头中的螺孔既可以是盲孔,也可以是通孔。
最好的是,周边的夹头的径向内侧在其下部形成平的抵靠表面29,该抵表面29至少在某种程度上总是靠置于钻具的夹头座30的相应的表面部分上。因而,在周边的切削刃定位时,夹头围绕着夹头的下部的点或线被紧固。该线通常将是抵靠表面29的上方或下方纵向边缘线。
根据本发明的最佳实施例,其它的夹头即中间的和中心的夹头被成形为具有槽而不是通孔,每个槽均要容纳锁定螺钉。这样,如图1所示,中间的夹头8具有槽21,锁定螺钉22穿过该槽延伸。该槽具有肩部23,锁定螺钉从槽的开口出发,其头的底面抵靠于该肩部23,该肩部轴向向下地倾斜。以便当锁定螺钉拧紧时,将夹头切向锁定。中心的夹头也以相应的方式形成。
为了在钻孔中支撑并引导钻具,钻具具有两个硬质合金制成的支撑衬垫24。周边的夹头具有由适合的材料例如酚醛塑料制成的的支撑垫片31。根据最佳实施例,支撑衬垫24具有实质上平行六面体的基本形状,其具有矩形的平面视图。最好的是,它们都具有两个翼形部25,均位于每个长边上。这些翼形部25实质上具有圆弧弓形的形状,它们基本上彼此构成反射影象,其外轮廓基本上相应于圆弧线。它们的扩展范围适合地构成在长边的总长度的1/5和3/5之间,最好在1/4和1/2之间。支撑衬垫的径向外侧17略呈圆形以便抵靠工件中的钻孔。此外,支撑衬垫展示出贯通中心孔26,该中心孔用于通过适当的锁定螺钉将支撑衬垫固定在钻具中。
图7表示用于容纳支撑衬垫的底座27。该底座27具有实质上平的底面。两个界限具有两个突出部28,其形状基本相应于翼形部25的几何形状。以这种方式,如果支撑衬垫的短端之一已损坏时,短端不能再起抵靠表面作用时,它可以被转动半周。而且,通过不同厚度的基础垫层,不同的直径可以很容易地进行调节,这取决于切削直径是由周边的切削刀片确定的。这些垫层具有基本与支撑衬垫相应的平面视图,将其置于支撑衬垫的下方作为距离调整元件。此外,整个支撑衬垫座27能够由一个单一的端铣加工而产生。
根据本发明的结构与现有已知的结构相比具有很多优点。这样,就可获得对切削直径的很简单并且很可靠的调节。更特别的是,获得了具有螺钉的楔件所构成的刚性结构,这是由于接触表面更大了,因而,可进行精确的调整。而且,由于大的轴向位移引起很小的径向位移,使得调整得以简化。此外,周边的夹头能够以简单的方式拆卸。

Claims (10)

1、一种钻削刀具,其包括带有周边的切削刀片(7)的周边的夹头,该周边的切削刀片确定切削直径,其特征在于,楔件(15)设置在周边的夹头的径向内侧,为了调节切削直径,该楔件能够轴向位移,因而使周边的夹头径向移动,该周边的夹头通过锁定螺钉(16)固定在要求的位置上,该锁定螺钉在钻削刀具的开口槽(17)中延伸,并螺入到周边的夹头(6)的螺孔中。
2、根据权利要求1的钻削工具,其特征在于,该钻削刀具包括一至七个带刀片的夹头,最好包括三至五个。
3、根据权利要求1或2的钻削刀具,其特征在于,除了周边的夹头以外的所有带刀片的夹头(8,10)均具有开口槽,锁定螺钉穿过该槽被拧紧。
4、根据权利要求1或2的钻削刀具,其特征在于,与周边的夹头(6)相邻的槽(17)相对于刀具的半径是倾斜的,并且其长度径向向外增加,以便确保周边的夹头抵抗离心力的作用。

8、根据前述任一权利要求的钻削刀具,其特征在于,每个支撑衬垫具有平行六面体的基本形状,其具有矩形的平面视图,在其每个长边上具有翼形部(25),该翼形部被设置成与设置在钻削刀具中的支撑衬垫座(27)中的相应的突起部(28)相配合。
