Fig. 1 is a partial schematic view of a display panel in the related art. In a display device with dual front cameras, as shown in fig. 1, the substrate of the display panel is cut off, a through hole K' is formed in the display panel, and the dotted line indicates the position of the camera when the display device is assembled. Due to the arrangement of the through hole K ', a gap exists in the display area AA ' of the display panel, and in order to realize normal display of the display areas AA ' on the two sides of the through hole K ', the signal lines X ' on the two sides of the through hole K ' in the display area AA ' need to be electrically connected. The current design is that a plurality of winding wires S ' are arranged on the left side and the right side of a through hole K ', the plurality of winding wires S ' occupy larger space around the through hole K ' to form a frame area B ' surrounding the through hole K ', the width of the frame area B ' is wider, the screen occupation ratio is influenced, and the display visual effect of the display panel is poor.
Based on the above, the invention provides the display panel, at least two adjacent through holes are arranged in the display panel by changing the arrangement mode of the through holes and the connecting lines, and at least part of the connecting lines are arranged between the two through holes, so that the number of the connecting lines arranged between the through holes and the display area is reduced, the connecting lines are arranged in a dispersed manner, the width of an inner frame at the position of the through holes is favorably narrowed, and the screen occupation ratio is improved.

The non-display area BA further includes a first non-display area BA1 between the two through holes K. It should be noted that, in the present invention, the shape of the through hole K is not limited, and the through hole K may be a circle, a triangle, or a square, and may be selected according to specific design requirements in practice, and is only schematically shown in fig. 1. Similarly, the shape of the first non-display area BA1 located between the two through holes K may be adaptively adjusted according to the shape of the through holes.
The display panel further comprises a plurality of first signal lines extending along the first direction X, the first signal lines are signal lines for driving pixels in the display area AA to display, wherein the first direction X is perpendicular to the second direction y, the first signal lines comprise first signal lines X1a and first second signal lines X1b, the first second signal lines X1b extend through the display area AA, and the first second signal lines X1b are signal lines conventionally arranged in the display area AA. The first signal line X1a comprises at least two first sub-signal lines Z and a connecting line M, the connecting line M is used for connecting the two first sub-signal lines Z, namely the first signal line X1a is a signal line which needs special wiring design after a through hole K is arranged, after the through hole K is formed in the display panel, the first signal line X1a is cut off at the position where the through hole K is located, and the first signal line X1a is divided into a first signal line Z located on two sides of the through hole K and a connecting line M connecting the two first signal lines Z. The connecting lines M include a first connecting line M1, wherein the first sub-signal line Z is located in the display area AA, and the first connecting line M1 is located in the first non-display area BA1.
The display area in the display panel provided by the invention surrounds the non-display area, namely the non-display area which does not display is arranged in the display area, wherein the non-display area at least comprises the through hole and the first non-display area, the through hole is a reserved module setting area, and when the display device is assembled, the image acquisition device and/or the sound production device can be arranged at the position corresponding to the through hole. The display panel is required to be cut when the through holes are formed, the substrate base plate, the array layer and the display layer above the substrate base plate and other film layers are cut off, and the first non-display area located between the two adjacent through holes is equivalent to a part of wiring area in the non-display area. The extending direction of the first signal lines in the display panel is perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the through holes, due to the arrangement of the through holes, part of the first signal lines (namely, the first signal lines) in the display area can be cut off at the positions of the through holes, and in order to enable pixels located on two sides of the through holes in the first direction to display normally, connecting lines are arranged in the non-display area and used for connecting two first signal lines located on two sides of the non-display area in the first direction.
In the display panel of the related art, a through hole is usually reserved for two or more modules, as illustrated in fig. 1, a plurality of winding lines S' (corresponding to the connection lines M in the embodiment of the present invention) need to be arranged around the through hole on two sides of the through hole, and occupy a larger space, so that a larger-area non-display area (corresponding to the second non-display area BA2 in the embodiment of the present invention) also exists between the through hole and the display area, and accordingly, the area of the display area is occupied, and the display light-emitting area is reduced. The display panel provided by the invention is provided with two or more through holes, and a module setting area can be reserved for one module, namely one module corresponds to one through hole. According to the invention, the substrate base plate between two adjacent through holes is reserved, and the wiring (such as the first connecting wire in the invention) can be arranged on the substrate base plate to form the first non-display area, namely the first connecting wire is wired between two adjacent through holes. Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, all the connection lines may be disposed in the first non-display region, and the through holes penetrate through the display panel, so that the through holes cannot display, that is, in the present invention, the connection lines are disposed between two non-display through holes, and human eyes are not sensitive to the non-display region between the two non-display through holes during display, so that the connection lines are disposed in the first non-display region, and the overall visual effect is not affected. According to the invention, at least part of the connecting lines are arranged between the two adjacent through holes for wiring, so that the number of the connecting lines arranged between the through holes and the display area can be reduced, the space between the through holes and the display area in the second direction can be saved, the internal frame of the display panel is narrowed, the screen occupation ratio is favorably improved, and the display effect of the display panel is improved.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the connection line and the first signal line are made of the same material in the same layer. Namely, the connecting wire and the first signal wire can be manufactured in the same process, and the process can be simplified.
Further, as shown in fig. 2, the non-display area BA further includes a second non-display area BA2 located on a side of the through hole K away from the first non-display area BA1, where the second non-display area BA2 at least partially surrounds the through hole K; the second non-display area BA2 corresponds to an inner frame between the through hole K and the display area AA. The connection lines M further include second connection lines M2, and the second connection lines M2 are located in the second non-display area BA2. In the display panel provided by this embodiment, the connection lines include both the first connection lines located in the first non-display area and the second connection lines located in the second non-display area, which is equivalent to disposing the connection lines in a dispersed manner, so that the number of connection lines disposed in the second non-display area can be reduced, and the space of the second non-display area can be saved. In addition, all be provided with the connecting wire in first non-display area and second non-display area in this embodiment, can balance the interior line number of walking of first non-display area and second non-display area, can obviously not increase the spacing distance between two through-holes, do not influence visual effect, also can obviously not increase the distance between through-hole and the display area (be the second non-display area) in the second direction simultaneously, be favorable to narrowing display panel's inside frame, increase the light emitting area in display area, can improve the screen area, promote display panel's display effect.
In some optional embodiments, in the display panel provided in the embodiments of the present invention, all the connection lines may be disposed between two adjacent through holes for routing, that is, no connection line is disposed in the second non-display area, so that the space of the second non-display area can be saved to the maximum extent, and the illustration of the drawing is not repeated for this embodiment.
In one embodiment, as shown with continued reference to fig. 2, the non-display area BA includes two second non-display areas BA2, and the number of the second connection lines M2 respectively disposed in the two second non-display areas BA2 is equal. In the embodiment, firstly, the first connecting lines in the first non-display area are included, part of the connecting lines are arranged between two adjacent through holes, the number of the second connecting lines arranged in the second non-display area can be reduced, the space of the second non-display area can be saved, and the internal frame of the display panel can be narrowed. In addition, the number of the second connecting lines arranged in the two second non-display areas is equal, the space occupied by the connecting lines in the two second non-display areas is the same, the size of the two second non-display areas can be guaranteed to be consistent, the width of the inner frames on the two sides of the through hole is consistent, and the visual effect displayed by the display panel can be improved.
In the display panel provided by the invention, the first connecting wires are wired between the two adjacent through holes, and the arrangement of the first connecting wires can be in various conditions. For example, the first connection line may be aligned with an extending direction of the conventional first signal line in the display area, or the first connection line may be routed around an edge of the through hole in the first non-display area. When the first connection line is routed around the edge of the through hole, a difference may occur between the total length of the first a signal line and the total length of the first b signal line which is conventionally arranged, and further, a difference may occur in resistance, which causes a difference in voltage drop when transmitting signals, and finally, a difference may occur in pixel display driven by the first a signal line and the first b signal line respectively. The inventor comprehensively considers the above situation, and further designs the first connecting line and the corresponding line width in the display panel on the basis of arranging the first connecting line between two adjacent through holes so as to reduce the internal frame lifting screen occupation ratio of the display panel. The following examples will illustrate specific cases. It should be noted that the line widths referred to in the following embodiments all refer to the widths of lines, i.e., the widths in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the lines. When the line is a curve, the line width can be calculated according to a uniform calculation rule, for example, after the curve is amplified by a certain factor, the curve approaches to a straight line, and the width of the amplified straight line is measured as the line width of the original curve.
In an embodiment, fig. 3 is a partial schematic view of an alternative implementation of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the first connecting line M1 includes a first second connecting line M1b, the extending direction of the first second connecting line M1b is the same as the extending direction of the first second signal line Z, and the line width d1 of the first second connecting line M1b is equal to the line width d2 of the first second signal line X1 b. Fig. 3 also illustrates a case where the display panel includes the second connection line M2. Optionally, the display panel may not be provided with the second connection line. The extending direction of the first second connecting line is the same as that of the first second signal line, so that the extending direction of the first second connecting line is the same as that of the first second signal line in the display panel, and the total length of the first signal line formed by the first second signal line electrically connected with the first second connecting line is approximately the same as that of the first second signal line. In this embodiment, by setting the line width of the first b connection line to be equal to the line width of the first b signal line, it is possible to ensure that the resistance of the first a signal line constituted by the first b connection line and the first a sub signal line is substantially equal to the resistance of the first b signal line, and then guarantee that first A signal line and first second signal line produce the voltage drop roughly the same when transmitting the signal to the pixel that guarantees first A signal line and first second signal line are driven separately displays luminance unanimity.
In another embodiment, the first connection line further includes a first a connection line, the first a connection line is at least partially disposed around the through hole, and a line width of at least a partial line segment of the first a connection line is greater than a line width of the first b signal line. Fig. 4 is a partial schematic view of another alternative implementation of the display panel according to the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, taking the line widths of all the line segments of the first a connection line M1a larger than the line width of the first b signal line X1b as an example, the first a connection line M1a is at least partially disposed around the through hole K. The line width of the first a connection line M1a is d3, the line width of the first b signal line X1b is d2, and d3> d2. In this embodiment, the first a connection line is at least partially disposed around the through hole, which results in that the total length of the first a signal line jointly formed by the first a connection line and the first a sub-signal line becomes larger, that is, the total length of the first a signal line is larger than the total length of the first b signal line. Under the condition that the line width of the first A connecting line is not adjusted, the resistance of the first A signal line where the first A connecting line is located is increased, in the embodiment of the invention, the line width of at least part of line segments of the first A connecting line is larger than the line width of the first B signal line, and according to the resistance law: r = ρ L/S, where ρ is the resistivity of the material from which the wire is made, L is the wire length, S is the cross-sectional area of the wire, and R is the resistance value. The line width of at least part of line segments of the first A connecting line is increased to reduce the resistance of the first A connecting line in unit length, so that the resistance difference between the first A signal line and the first B signal line is balanced, the resistance of the first A signal line formed by the first A connecting line and the first A sub signal line is ensured to be approximately equal to the resistance of the first B signal line, further, the voltage drop generated when the first A signal line and the first B signal line transmit signals is ensured to be approximately the same, and the consistency of the display brightness of the pixels driven by the first A signal line and the first B signal line respectively is ensured.
Optionally, the line width of only a part of the line segments of the first connection line may be adjusted to compensate for the resistance difference between the first signal line and the first second signal line caused by the arrangement of the routing direction of the first connection line.
In another embodiment, fig. 5 is a partial schematic view of another alternative implementation of the display panel according to the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, the first a connection line M1a and the first b connection line M1b may be simultaneously formed in the first non-display area BA1 of the display panel, the first b connection line M1b and the first a sub-signal line Z have the same extending direction, and the first a connection line M1a is at least partially disposed around the through hole K. The length of the first A connecting line M1a is greater than that of the first B connecting line M1 b. The respective line widths of the first connecting line M1a and the first second connecting line M1b are not shown in the drawing, and optionally, the line width of the first second connecting line M1b may be set to be equal to the line width of the first second signal line X1b, so that the resistance of the first signal line formed by the first second connecting line M1b and the first sub-signal line Z is ensured to be approximately equal to the resistance of the first second signal line; the line width of the first A connecting line M1a is set to be larger than the line width of the first B signal line X1b, the resistance of the first A connecting line M1a in unit length is reduced by increasing the line width of at least part of the line segment of the first A connecting line M1a, therefore, the resistance difference between the first A signal line and the first B signal line is balanced, and the resistance of the first A signal line formed by the first A connecting line and the first A sub signal line is ensured to be approximately equal to the resistance of the first B signal line. According to the embodiment, the voltage drop generated when the first A signal line and the first B signal line transmit signals can be approximately the same, and therefore the display brightness of the pixels driven by the first A signal line and the first B signal line is consistent.
Furthermore, the display panel further comprises a second signal line extending along the second direction and overlapping the first signal line in an insulating manner, so that a coupling capacitor exists at a position where the first signal line and the second signal line overlap in an insulating manner. The inventor continues to provide a solution for two connecting line setting methods of the first A connecting line and the first B connecting line to compensate capacitance difference and avoid pixel display difference caused by capacitance difference and driven by the first A signal line and the first B signal line respectively.
In an embodiment, fig. 6 is a partial schematic view of another alternative implementation of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 6, the display panel further includes a second signal line X2 extending in the second direction y and overlapping the first signal line X1 in an insulating manner, and the first connection line M1 overlaps the second signal line X2 in the first non-display area BA1 in an insulating manner; the first connecting line M1 includes a first second connecting line M1b, the extending directions of the first second connecting line M1b and the first second signal line Z are the same, and the line width d1 of the first second connecting line M1b is equal to the line width d2 of the first second signal line X1 b. The second signal line X2 includes a first subsection F1 overlapping the first b signal line X1b and a second subsection F2 overlapping the first b connection line M1b, and a line width d4 of the first subsection F1 is equal to a line width d5 of the second subsection F2. In this embodiment, the extending direction of the first second connecting line is the same as the extending direction of the first sub-signal line, and the line width of the first second connecting line is the same as the line width of the first second signal line, so that the resistance of the first signal line formed by the first second connecting line and the first sub-signal line can be ensured to be approximately equal to the resistance of the first second signal line, and further, the voltage drop generated when the first signal line and the first second signal line transmit signals can be ensured to be approximately equal. Further, the line width of the overlapped part of the first second connecting line in the second signal line is equal to the line width of the overlapped part of the first second signal line in the second signal line, and then the coupling capacitance generated by the insulated overlapping of the first second connecting line and the second signal line is approximately the same as the coupling capacitance generated by the insulated overlapping of the first second signal line and the second signal line, so that the display brightness consistency of pixels driven by the first signal line and the first second signal line is further ensured, and the display uniformity is ensured.
In an embodiment, fig. 7 is a partial schematic view of another alternative implementation of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 7, the display panel further includes a second signal line X2 extending in the second direction y and overlapping the first signal line X1 in an insulating manner, and the first connection line M1 overlaps the second signal line X2 in the first non-display area BA1 in an insulating manner; the first connecting line M1 includes a first a connecting line M1a, a line width of the first a connecting line M1a is d3, a line width of the first b signal line X1b is d2, and d3> d2. The second signal line X2 includes a first subsection F1 overlapping the first second signal line X1b and a third subsection F3 overlapping the first connection line M1a, and a line width d6 of the third subsection F3 is smaller than a line width d4 of the first subsection F1. In this embodiment, the line width of the first A connection line is first set larger than the line width of the first B signal line to reduce the resistance of the first A connection line per unit length, therefore, the resistance difference between the first A signal line and the first B signal line is balanced, and the resistance of the first A signal line formed by the first A connecting line and the first A sub signal line is approximately equal to the resistance of the first B signal line. The line width of the first A connecting line is increased, when the second signal line is not changed in design, the insulation overlapping area between the first A connecting line and the second signal line is increased, and the generated coupling capacitance is increased. According to the embodiment, the resistance of the first A signal line and the resistance of the first B signal line are approximately equal, and the coupling capacitance between the first A signal line and the second signal line and the coupling capacitance between the first B signal line and the second signal line are approximately equal, so that the display brightness of the pixels driven by the first A signal line and the pixel driven by the first B signal line are consistent, and the display uniformity is guaranteed.
