Detailed Description
The technical solution of the present application will be specifically described below by way of examples with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following several specific embodiments may be combined with each other, and details of the same or similar concepts or processes may not be repeated in some embodiments.
It should be noted that: in the present examples, "first", "second", etc. are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order.
The technical means described in the embodiments of the present application may be arbitrarily combined without conflict. In the description of the present application, "a plurality" means two or more unless specifically limited otherwise.
In some implementation scenarios, users may have diversified requirements for terminal equipment systems, for example, when roaming in different countries, there may be a need to turn off or on some systems in order to reduce power consumption. In other implementation scenarios, with the increasing forms of the terminal devices, the test requirements of the corresponding terminal devices are also more and more abundant, and a user or a tester can autonomously set the mode supported by the terminal. One or more systems are selected arbitrarily from all systems supported by the terminal equipment and set to be single mode or new multimode.
In the related art, a method for updating a system supported by a terminal device includes: and the process of updating the system is completed by registering and re-registering the terminal equipment. In some cases, it is desirable that a user or tester only allow changes to the format in a shutdown or flight mode.
However, for a terminal device supporting single-mode, dual-mode, or multi-mode capabilities, when a new system set needs to be set, a way of unregistration is often used. For example, the procedure for updating the currently supported system by the terminal device is as follows: the terminal equipment registers the old system currently supported through a deregistration process and then registers the old system to a new system through a registration process. However, this approach has some drawbacks: on one hand, the set whole process time is relatively long, and the efficiency of executing the process is not high; on the other hand, since the terminal device needs to perform deregistration through the deregistration process, that is, the terminal device is in an out-of-service state from the time after the terminal device initiates the deregistration process to the time before the terminal device registers to the new system, the called service initiated by the network may be missed during the deregistration process.
In some embodiments, if the standard set supported by the maximum capability of the terminal device is a, B, C, D, E, and F, the standard set Radio Access Technology (RAT) _ Configuration (CONFIG) _1 currently configured by the terminal device includes standards a, B, and C, and the terminal device has successfully camped in standard a. When the system set of the terminal device needs to be reset to RAT _ CONFIG _2, the RAT _ CONFIG _2 includes systems D, E, and F. The mode supported by the maximum capability of the terminal device may be determined by the terminal device according to the pre-configuration, or may be configured by the network device. Then the related art flow is as follows:
fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a system set changing method provided in the related art, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
and S101, the terminal equipment completes registration on the network corresponding to the currently resident system A.
In the registration process, the terminal device may send information that the terminal device supports systems a, B, and C to the network device corresponding to the currently-resident system a.
In this way, the core network device corresponding to the system a (i.e., the core network device in the network device corresponding to the system a) can determine that the systems supported by the terminal device are the systems a, B, and C. The core network device corresponding to the system A can support the system A, the core network device corresponding to the system A can be connected with the core network devices corresponding to other systems through interfaces, so that the core network devices corresponding to other systems are informed of the systems supported by the terminal device as the systems A, B and C through the interfaces, and/or the terminal device is informed of context information generated in the interaction process with the network device corresponding to the system A, and the core network devices corresponding to other systems can realize that the terminal device is switched from the cell corresponding to the system A to the cells corresponding to other systems according to the context information. Wherein, the other system may include at least one of systems B, C, D, E, and F. In some embodiments, in a cell in which the terminal device reselects or switches to another system, the terminal device may not send the system currently supported by the terminal device to a network device in another system. In other embodiments, the terminal device may not perform the initial registration procedure when the terminal device reselects or switches to a network of another system.
Under the condition that the terminal equipment supports the systems A, B and C, the system used by the terminal equipment can be switched among the systems A, B and C in the use process of the terminal equipment.
S102, at the time t1, the terminal equipment determines to change the currently supported system into the systems D, E and F.
In the implementation process, the terminal device and the network state are not synchronized, which may cause some services, especially called services, to be affected, for example, the terminal device locally modifies the system set supported by itself from a, B, and C to D, E, and F, and the system after the terminal device is not updated to the network device is D, E, and F, that is, the network device still considers the systems supported by the terminal device to be a, B, and C, because the frequency bands of different systems are different, the system used by the network device to send a page to the terminal device is one of D, E, and F, and the system supported by itself is modified locally by the terminal device, so that the terminal device uses one of the systems a, B, and C to monitor a page, and therefore, the frequency band used by the network device to send a page is different from the frequency band used by the terminal device to monitor a page, and the terminal device cannot monitor a page sent by the network device, thereby causing the called service of the terminal device to be affected. In this way, the terminal device needs to keep its own state synchronized with the network state in the process of modifying the old system set (corresponding to the system of the current system) into the new system set (corresponding to the system to be supported). The process of synchronization is seen in S103-S106.
S103, the terminal equipment initiates a de-registration process to the network equipment corresponding to the currently resident system A, and the de-registration process is completed.
And S104, at the time of t2, the terminal equipment refreshes the capability and the context information of each layer according to the systems D, E and F to be supported.
In some embodiments, the terminal device may locally store configuration information of formats a, B, C, D, E, and F at each layer (also referred to as format configuration information of each layer). In some embodiments, when the systems a, B, and C are activated, or the systems a, B, and C can be called, the currently supported systems of the terminal device are the systems a, B, and C, and the capabilities of each layer of the terminal device are the capabilities corresponding to the systems a, B, and C; when the systems D, E, and F are activated or the systems D, E, and F can be called, the currently supported systems of the terminal device are the systems D, E, and F, the capabilities of each layer of the terminal device are the capabilities of each layer corresponding to the systems D, E, and F, or the capability information of each layer of the terminal device is the capability information of each layer corresponding to the systems D, E, and F.
In some embodiments, the ability of the terminal device to refresh layers includes: the method includes that a terminal device activates systems D, E and F by deactivating the systems A, B and C, or the terminal device cannot be called by setting the systems A, B and C, and sets the systems D, E and F to be called, the currently supported system of the terminal device is modified from the systems A, B and C to the systems D, E and F, and correspondingly, each layer of capability of the terminal device is the capability corresponding to the systems D, E and F. In other embodiments, the ability of the terminal device to refresh layers includes: the terminal device may delete the configuration information of the systems a, B, and C in each layer, and add the configuration information of the systems D, E, and F in each layer.
In some embodiments, the context information may be stored in the terminal device, and the context information is obtained by the terminal device and the network device corresponding to at least one of the systems a, B, and C during an interaction process, and includes information sent by the terminal device to the network device and/or information sent by the network device to the terminal device. The context information may include two parts, one part is a fixed parameter configured by the network device to the terminal device, and the fixed parameter may still be used when the terminal device switches from one system to another system, for example, the fixed parameter may include at least one of the following: a Global Unique Temporary Identity (GUTI), an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), and the like. The other part is variable parameters which cannot be used when the terminal equipment is switched from one system to another system, because the network equipment of another system can reconfigure new parameters to the terminal equipment. The variable parameter may include wireless capability information of the terminal device, and the wireless capability information may include: at least one item of information such as frequency band, radio frequency parameter, uplink and downlink receiving capability and the like supported by the terminal equipment. In some embodiments, the terminal device refreshing the context information may include the terminal device refreshing the context information of the respective layers. In some embodiments, the terminal device refreshing context information of each layer may include: the terminal device deletes the variable parameters in each layer. In other embodiments, the network device corresponding to another standard may reassign the fixed parameter to the terminal device, and therefore, the updating of the context information of each layer by the terminal device may include: the terminal device deletes the context information of each layer, or the terminal device deletes the variable parameters and the fixed parameters in each layer.
In any embodiment of the present application, the capability of each layer indicates a capability of enabling the terminal device to support a system through configuration information of each layer.
And S105, at the time of t3, the terminal equipment successfully changes the system.
In S105, the successful system change of the terminal device may include: and the terminal equipment succeeds in locally changing the system. However, when the terminal device succeeds in locally changing the format, the format to be supported needs to be synchronized with the network device, so in the related art, the terminal device synchronizes the format to be supported with the network device through S106 and S107.
And S106, the terminal equipment searches the network according to the systems D, E and F to be supported and resides in one of the systems D, E and F.
The time when the terminal device resides in one of the systems D, E, and F is time t4.
And S107, the terminal equipment registers according to one of the resident systems D, E and F.
The time when the terminal device completes registration of one of the systems D, E, and F is time t5. For example, in a case where the terminal device resides in the system D, the terminal device registers through the system D, and in a registration process, the terminal device sends the currently supported systems of the terminal device to the network device corresponding to the system D as the systems D, E, and F.
In fig. 1, in a case that a terminal device needs to change a currently supported standard, for example, in a case that the terminal device needs to change the currently supported standard from the standards a, B, and C to the standards D, E, and F, the terminal device first initiates an explicit deregistration process on the standard a, for example, the terminal device sends a specific Request message (e.g., deregistration Request) to a network device to complete deregistration, referring to a time period t1 to t2; then, according to the latest system set (namely comprising systems D, E and F), refreshing the capability of each layer and the context information (such as wireless capability information) of each layer, and referring to time periods t 2-t 3; and then selecting a system with high priority for network search and successful registration according to the new system set, and referring to a time period from t3 to t5.
As can be seen from fig. 1, in the related art, the terminal device is in the no-service state at least between time periods t1 to t4, and in the no-service state, the terminal device cannot process at least a downstream called service.
The embodiment of the application provides a method for avoiding explicit de-registration to complete the process when a new system set of a multi-mode terminal (or called a multi-system terminal) needs to be reset, and minimizing or completely eliminating the influence on a called service as far as possible.

Further exemplarily, the first standard in S202 may be one standard that overlaps with a standard to be supported, among the standards currently supported by the terminal device.
In this embodiment of the present application, the first standard set indicated to the network device includes the first standard in S202. For example, in a case where the first standard in S202 includes a currently camped standard, the first standard set includes the currently camped standard.
In some implementation scenarios, the currently supported systems (i.e., the systems before updating) of the terminal device are a, B, and C, and the terminal device resides in the system a (corresponding to the first system of S202), and if the terminal device needs to change the supported systems to the systems a, D, and E (i.e., the updated systems or the systems to be supported), the terminal device sends first information in the system a, where the first information is used to indicate that the first system set is the systems a, D, and E. Further, in some implementation scenarios, if the system a is the highest among the system priorities of the systems a, D, and E, the terminal device may stay in the cell corresponding to the system a, and if the system a is not the highest among the system priorities of the systems a, D, and E, the terminal device may switch to the cell corresponding to the system with the highest system priority among the systems a, D, and E. In other embodiments, the first information is used to indicate that the first set of modes is modes a, B, C, D, and E.
In other implementation scenarios, the currently supported systems (i.e., the systems before updating) of the terminal device are a, B, and C, and the terminal device resides in the system a (corresponding to the first system of S202), and if the terminal needs to change the supported systems to systems D, E, and F (i.e., the updated systems or the systems to be supported), the terminal device sends first information in the system a, where the first information is used to indicate that the first system set is the systems a, D, E, and F. In other embodiments, the first information is used to indicate that the first set of formats is formats a, B, C, D, E, and F.
In still other implementation scenarios, the currently supported systems (i.e., the systems before updating) of the terminal device are a, B, and C, and the terminal device resides in the system B, if the terminal needs to change the supported systems to the systems a, D, and E (i.e., the updated systems or the systems to be supported), the terminal device sends first information in the system B, where the first information is used to indicate that the first system set is the systems a, B, D, and E.
In some implementation scenarios, the currently supported systems (i.e., the systems before updating) of the terminal device are a, B, and C, and the terminal device resides in system B, if the terminal needs to change the supported systems to systems a, D, and E (i.e., the updated systems or the systems to be supported), because both the currently supported systems and the systems to be supported include system a, the terminal device may first switch to the network corresponding to system a, and then send first information in system a (corresponding to the first system in S202), where the first information is used to indicate that the first system set is systems a, D, and E.
In some embodiments, the terminal device may send the first information in the first standard through a signaling in a registration procedure, or through a signaling in an attachment procedure, or a signaling corresponding to another standard (for example, a 6G standard). For example, in the case that the first standard is the 5G standard, the first information may be included in a Registration Request (Registration Request) or a Mobility Registration Update (MRU) Request in the Registration procedure, and for example, the first information may be included in other messages except for the Registration Request or the MRU Request in the Registration procedure. For example, in a case where the first scheme is the 4G scheme, the first information may be included in a Tracking Area Update (TAU) request in the attach procedure. For another example, the first information may be included in other messages except the tracking area update request in the attach request, and exemplarily, the first information may be included in capability information, where the capability information is information that is fed back to the network device by the terminal device after receiving a capability query message sent by the network device. In other embodiments, the first information may be sent to the network device after the registration procedure or the attach procedure is finished.
In some embodiments, the first information may be separate signaling, or the first information and other information may be carried in the same signaling, for example, the first information may be included in an MRU request or a TAU request, and the MRU request or the TAU request may further include information such as security parameters and/or access parameters.
In some embodiments, the terminal device may send the first information to the network device corresponding to the first standard. For example, the terminal device may send the first information to an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) network element, or the terminal device sends the first information to the AMF network element through an Access network device. The network device corresponding to the first standard may be: in some implementation scenarios, if the first format is a 5G format, the core network device in the network device corresponding to the first format may be a core network device corresponding to a 4G format, and the access network device may be an access network device corresponding to the 5G format, or the core network device in the network device corresponding to the first format may be a core network device corresponding to the 5G format, and the access network device is an access network device corresponding to the 4G format, or the core network device in the network device corresponding to the first format may be a core network device corresponding to the 5G format, and the access network device is an access network device corresponding to the 5G format.
In the embodiment of the application, a first system set is determined, wherein the first system set comprises at least one first system and at least one second system, the first system is a system currently supported by terminal equipment, and the second system is a system to be supported by the terminal equipment; and sending first information in the first system, wherein the first information is used for indicating a first system set. Therefore, the terminal equipment sends first information indicating the first system set on the currently supported system, and the terminal equipment can synchronize the new first system set to the network equipment corresponding to the first system, so that the terminal equipment can change the supported system set, and the diversity of system combinations of the terminal equipment is improved; in addition, the terminal equipment can inform the new first system set through the currently supported first system, so that the terminal equipment does not need to register through a past registration process, and then inform the new first system set through a registration process, so that the terminal equipment can inform the network equipment of the first system set in a short time, and the condition that the terminal equipment is in a long-time service-free state due to the long time consumed by the registration process is reduced.
It can be understood that, before the terminal device sends the first system set, the terminal device needs to update, at the terminal device, configuration information corresponding to the systems (for example, configuration information of each layer or system configuration information of each layer), and/or update, at the terminal device, context information corresponding to the systems (for example, context information of each layer). Updating configuration information and/or context information corresponding to the system may include: deleting the system belonging to the old system set and not belonging to the new system set, and adding the system belonging to the new system set and not belonging to the old system set; the embodiment of the present application does not limit the order of deletion and addition.
In some embodiments, the terminal device may refer to the description about the capability of refreshing each layer and the context information in S104 for updating the configuration information and/or the context information corresponding to the system.
In a possible implementation manner, if at least one first standard includes at least one second standard, configuration information and/or context information of a current standard of the terminal device may be maintained. If any second system in the at least one second system does not belong to the currently supported system, the terminal device may first add configuration information and/or context information corresponding to the any second system, and then send the first information.
If any first standard in at least one first standard does not belong to the standard to be supported, in one implementation mode, the terminal device may delete the configuration information and/or the context information corresponding to the any first standard and then send the first information, and in another implementation mode, the terminal device may send the first information first and then delete the configuration information and/or the context information corresponding to the any first standard.
In some embodiments, before the first format sends the first information, the method further includes: and updating the configuration information of the system of the terminal equipment into the configuration information of the first system centralized system.
In some other embodiments, before the first system sends the first information, the method further includes: and updating the context information of the system of the terminal equipment into the context information of the first system centralized system.
In still other embodiments, before the sending of the first information in the first standard, the method further includes: updating the configuration information of the system of the terminal equipment to the configuration information of the first system centralized system; and updating the context information of the system of the terminal equipment into the context information of the first system centralized system.
For example, in the case that the currently supported systems are systems a, B, and C, and the first system set is systems a, D, and E, the terminal device may delete the configuration information and/or the context information of the systems B and C, and add the configuration information and/or the context information of the systems D and E, where the order of deletion and addition is not limited.
In any embodiment of the present application, the configuration information of the system may be referred to as capability information of the system. In the case that the terminal device has capability information of a certain system, the terminal device can use a network of the system. For example, the configuration information of the 5G standard may be referred to as capability information of the 5G standard, so that the terminal device has the capability information of the 5G standard, so that the terminal device may use a 5G network when camping on a 5G cell. In any embodiment of the present application, the configuration information of the system may be referred to as configuration information of the system in each layer, and the capability information of the system may be referred to as capability information of the system in each layer.
In some embodiments, updating the configuration information of the system of the terminal device to the configuration information of the first system centralized system may include: updating the configuration information of each layer corresponding to the system of the terminal equipment into: and configuring information of each layer corresponding to each system in the first system set. For example, if the currently supported systems include systems a, B, and C, and the first system set includes systems a, D, and E, each layer of configuration information corresponding to the system of the terminal device may be updated to each layer of configuration information corresponding to each of the systems a, D, and E from each layer of configuration information corresponding to each of the systems a, B, and C. Therefore, the terminal equipment can communicate with the network corresponding to the first system set through the configuration information of the first system set. For example, since the frequency band corresponding to the 5G system is different from the frequency band corresponding to the 4G system, the configuration information of the physical layer corresponding to the 5G system and the 4G system is different.
In any embodiment of the present application, the per-layer configuration information may include Access Stratum (AS) configuration information and/or Non-Access Stratum (NAS) configuration information. The non-access stratum may include at least one of: a Physical Layer (PHY), a Media Access Control (MAC) Layer, a Radio Link Control (RLC) Layer, a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) Layer, and a Radio Resource Control (RRC) Layer.
In some embodiments, each layer of configuration information corresponding to a plurality of systems capable of supporting the most may be stored in the terminal device, where the plurality of systems includes a first system set. In other embodiments, the configuration information corresponding to each standard in the first standard set may be sent to the terminal device by another device, or configured to the terminal device by the network device.
In some embodiments, updating the context information of the standard of the terminal device to the context information of the standard in the first standard set may include: updating each layer of context corresponding to the system of the terminal equipment as follows: each layer of context corresponding to each standard in the first standard set. The context information may be derived based on the communication of the terminal device with the network device.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of another standard transmission method provided in an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 3, the method is applied to a terminal device, and the method includes:
s301, determining a first system set, where the first system set includes at least one first system and at least one second system, the first system is a system currently supported by the terminal device, and the second system is a system to be supported by the terminal device.
S302, first information is sent in the first system, and the first information is used for indicating the first system set.
S303, sending second information in the second system; the second information is used for indicating a second system set, and the second system set is the system set to be supported.
In some embodiments, if the system set to be supported includes the first system, the terminal device may directly send the first information on the first system, the first system set is indicated by the first information, and at least one second system in the first system set may include all the systems to be supported, so as to synchronize the first system set with the network device, so as to implement updating of the system set of the terminal device and synchronization of the updated system set with the network device, in which case, the terminal device does not need to execute S303.
In other embodiments, if the system set to be supported does not include the first system, the terminal device first sends the first information through the first system and synchronizes the first system set with the network device, and further, the terminal device resides in a cell corresponding to the second system, and then sends the second information through the second system and synchronizes the second system set with the network device, so as to update the system set of the terminal device and synchronize the updated system set with the network device.
In some embodiments, S303 may include: and sending second information in a second system under the condition that the terminal equipment resides in the second system.
The second system may be any one of the systems to be supported by the terminal device. For example, the second standard may be a standard with the highest priority among the standards to be supported by the terminal device.
In any embodiment of the present application, after the first system sends the first information, the terminal device may unregister/detach some systems (the unregister/detach systems include a display unregister/detach system or an implicit unregister/detach system). In the embodiment of the present application, the deregistration/detach scheme is an implicit deregistration/detach scheme. In other embodiments, the deregistration/detach mechanism comprises a explicit deregistration/detach mechanism, or a combination of explicit deregistration/detach and implicit deregistration/detach mechanism. In this embodiment, the terminal device may perform implicit de-registration/de-attachment scheme after camping on the cell corresponding to the second scheme and before sending the second information in the second scheme. In other embodiments, the terminal device may perform implicit de-registration/de-attachment after sending the second information in the second format.
In any embodiment of the present application, after the first system sends the first information, the terminal device may implicitly unregister/detach the currently supported system and is not the system to be supported.
Therefore, because the terminal device resides in the cell corresponding to the second system, the paging can be monitored through the cell corresponding to the second system, and the paging does not need to be monitored through the system which belongs to the current supported system and does not belong to the system to be supported, so that the terminal device can implicitly register/detach the system which belongs to the current supported system and does not belong to the system to be supported, thereby realizing the synchronization between the system reported by the terminal device to the network device through the second information and the system to be supported by the terminal device.
For example, when the currently supported systems of the terminal device are systems a, B, and C, the systems to be supported by the terminal device are systems D, E, and F, and the currently residing system of the terminal device is system a, the terminal device may send first information in the first system, where the first information is used to indicate the systems a, D, E, and F (may correspond to the first system set). Then, the terminal device may camp in a cell corresponding to a second system (for example, system D), and then send second information in the second system, where the second information is used to indicate systems D, E, and F (which may correspond to the second system set described above), so as to implement updating of the system set. For example, after the terminal device camps on the second system, and before the second system sends the second information, the terminal device may implicitly unregister systems a, B, and C.
Further exemplarily, when the currently supported systems of the terminal device are systems a, B, and C, the systems to be supported by the terminal device are systems B, D, and E, and the currently residing system of the terminal device is system a, the terminal device may send first information in the first system, where the first information is used to indicate the systems a, B, D, and E (may correspond to the first system set). Then, the terminal device may camp in a cell corresponding to a second system (for example, system B), and then send second information in the second system, where the second information is used to indicate systems B, D, and E (which may correspond to the second system set described above), so as to implement updating of the system set. For example, after the terminal device camps on the second system, and before the second system sends the second information, the terminal device may implicitly unregister systems a and C.
In some embodiments, the terminal device may send the second information in the second system through a signaling in the registration procedure, or through a signaling in the attachment procedure, or through a signaling corresponding to another system (for example, the 6G system). For example, the second information may be included in a Registration Request (Registration Request) or Mobility Registration Update (MRU) Request in the Registration procedure, and for example, the second information may be included in other messages than the Registration Request in the Registration procedure. For example, the second information may be included in a Tracking Area Update (TAU) request in the attach procedure. For another example, the second information may be included in other messages except the tracking area update request in the attach request, and exemplarily, the second information may be included in the capability information, where the capability information is information that the terminal device feeds back to the network device after receiving the capability query message sent by the network device. In other embodiments, the second information may be sent to the network device after the registration procedure or the attach procedure is finished.
In some embodiments, the second information may be separate signaling, or the second information and other information may be carried in the same signaling, for example, the second information may be included in an MRU request or a TAU request, and the MRU request or the TAU request may further include information such as security parameters and/or access parameters.
In some embodiments, the terminal device may send the second information to the network device corresponding to the second standard. For example, the terminal device may send the second information to the AMF network element, or the terminal device sends the second information to the AMF network element through the access network device. The network device corresponding to the second standard may be: in some implementation scenarios, if the second standard is a 5G standard, the core network device in the network device corresponding to the second standard may be a core network device corresponding to a 4G standard, and the access network device may be an access network device corresponding to the 5G standard, or the core network device in the network device corresponding to the second standard may be a core network device corresponding to the 5G standard, and the access network device is an access network device corresponding to the 4G standard, or the core network device in the network device corresponding to the second standard may be a core network device corresponding to the 5G standard, and the access network device is an access network device corresponding to the 5G standard.
In some embodiments, before the sending of the second information in the second standard, the method further includes: and updating the configuration information of the system of the terminal equipment into the configuration information of the second system centralized system.
In other embodiments, before the sending of the second information in the second format, the method further includes: and updating the context information of the system of the terminal equipment into the context information of the second system centralized system.
In still other embodiments, before the sending of the second information in the second standard, the method further includes: updating the configuration information of the system of the terminal equipment to the configuration information of the second system centralized system; and updating the context information of the system of the terminal equipment into the context information of the second system centralized system.
Exemplarily, the first system set is a, D, and E, and when the system sets to be supported are a, D, and E, the first system set is the same as the system set to be supported, and the terminal device does not need to update the configuration information and/or the context information of the systems, so that the terminal device does not need to perform the step of updating the configuration information and/or the context information of the systems of the terminal device.
Further exemplarily, the first system sets are a, D, E, and F, the system sets to be supported are D, E, and F, and the step of updating the configuration information and/or the context information of the system of the terminal device includes: the terminal device may delete configuration information and/or context information of system a.
In some embodiments, updating the configuration information of the system of the terminal device to the configuration information of the second system centralized system may include: updating the configuration information of each layer corresponding to the system of the terminal equipment into: and configuring information of each layer corresponding to each system in the second system set.
In some embodiments, each layer of configuration information corresponding to a plurality of systems that can support the most may be stored in the terminal device, and the plurality of systems include the second system set. In other embodiments, the configuration information corresponding to each standard in the second standard set may be sent to the terminal device by another device, or configured from the network device to the terminal device.
In some embodiments, updating the context information of the system of the terminal device to the context information of the system in the second system set may include: updating each layer of context corresponding to the system of the terminal equipment as follows: each layer of context corresponding to each system in the second system set.
Fig. 4 is a schematic flowchart of another method for systematic transmission according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 4, the method is applied to a terminal device, and the method includes:
s401, a first system set is determined, wherein the first system set comprises at least one first system and at least one second system, the first system is a system currently supported by the terminal equipment, and the second system is a system to be supported by the terminal equipment.
S402, first information is sent in the first system, and the first information is used for indicating the first system set.
And S403, under the condition that the terminal equipment is in a non-connection state, residing in a cell supporting the second system.
In some embodiments, the unconnected state may include: an IDLE state (IDLE state) or an INACTIVE state (INACTIVE state). In some embodiments, when the terminal device is in a non-connected state, the terminal device camps on a cell supporting the second system through cell reselection or cell search. In this way, under the condition that the terminal device is in the non-connected state, the terminal device initiates a cell reselection or network search process to perform cell reselection or cell search, so that the terminal device resides in a cell supporting the second standard.
In any embodiment of the present application, the IDLE state may be an RRC _ IDLE state, and the INACTIVE state may be an RRC _ INACTIVE state.
S404, sending second information in the second system; the second information is used for indicating a second system set, and the second system set is a system set to be supported.
The following describes how the terminal device resides in a cell supporting a second standard if the terminal device is in a connected state after the terminal device sends the first information in the first standard:
in some embodiments, when the terminal device is in a connected state, the terminal device is switched to a non-connected state, and camp on a cell supporting the second system through cell reselection.
In other embodiments, when the terminal device is in the connected state, the terminal device camps on the cell supporting the second standard through inter-system handover.
The following describes embodiments of switching to a non-connected state in a case where the terminal device is in a connected state:
in some embodiments, in a case that a current cell of camping supports NCR, sending a target request in the first standard, where the target request is used to instruct the current cell of camping to release RRC connection with the terminal device; and under the condition of receiving a confirmation response corresponding to the target request, switching to the non-connection state.
Therefore, the terminal equipment sends the target request in the first system and is switched to the non-connection state under the condition of receiving the confirmation response corresponding to the target request, and thus, the network equipment corresponding to the current resident cell determines that the terminal equipment enters the non-connection state under the condition of receiving the target request, and does not send downlink information to the terminal equipment any more, so that the situation that the terminal equipment releases RRC connection by itself but the network equipment does not know that the terminal equipment releases the RRC connection and sends the downlink information to the terminal equipment, so that the downlink information is lost is avoided, and the reliability of information transmission is improved.
In some embodiments, the target request is a TAU request or an MRU request, the target request including information indicating a reason for the NCR.
Wherein, under the condition that the first standard is a 4G standard, the target request is a TAU request; and under the condition that the first standard is the 5G standard, the target request is an MRU request.
For example, in a case that the currently camped cell supports NCR, the network device corresponding to the currently camped cell may send indication information to the terminal device, where the indication information is used to indicate that the currently camped cell supports NCR.
Exemplarily, if the non-connected state cannot be switched by other conditions, the target request is sent in the first standard under the condition that the current resident cell supports NCR; and under the condition of receiving a confirmation response corresponding to the target request, switching to the non-connection state.
In some embodiments, the sending the target request in the first standard in the case that the current camping cell supports NCR includes:
transmitting the target request in the first standard if at least one of the following is satisfied and the NCR is supported by the current camping cell:
the Data radio bearer DRB and the Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session/Evolved Packet System (EPS) bearer corresponding to the DRB are not released;
and sending a different system event report which does not reside to the second system through the first system.
For example, if the first standard is a 5G standard, it is determined that a data radio bearer DRB and a protocol data unit PDU session corresponding to the DRB are not released, and/or if an inter-system event report is sent in the first standard and a confirmation message corresponding to the inter-system event report is not received, a target request is sent in the first standard under the condition that a current resident cell supports NCR; and under the condition of receiving a confirmation response corresponding to the target request, switching to the non-connection state.
For another example, if the first standard is a 4G standard, it is determined that the DRB and the EPS bearer of the evolved packet system corresponding to the DRB are not released, and/or if the inter-system event report is sent in the first standard and the confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report is not received, the target request is sent in the first standard under the condition that the currently camped cell supports NCR; and under the condition of receiving a confirmation response corresponding to the target request, switching to the non-connection state.
In some other embodiments, before switching to the unconnected state, the method further includes: determining that a Data Radio Bearer (DRB) and a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session corresponding to the DRB are released, or determining that an Evolved Packet System (EPS) bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is released.
In some embodiments, before switching to the non-connected state, if the DRB and the PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are not released, the terminal device may determine whether the DRB and the PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are allowed to be released, and in a case that the release is allowed, the terminal device releases the DRB and the PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB, and in a case that the release is not allowed, the terminal device fails to switch to the non-connected state, or the terminal device does not switch to the non-connected state.
Thus, under the condition that the terminal device is in the connected state, if it is determined that the data radio bearer DRB and the protocol data unit PDU session corresponding to the DRB are released, or the DRB and the evolved packet system EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are released, the terminal device may switch to the unconnected state.
In some implementation cases, if the terminal device determines that the data radio bearer DRB and the protocol data unit PDU session corresponding to the DRB are released, or the DRB and the evolved packet system EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are released, the terminal device may release the RRC connection with the currently camped cell, and switch to the non-connected state.
Therefore, if the terminal equipment determines that the Data Radio Bearer (DRB) and the Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are released, the RRC connection is released and the terminal equipment is switched to the non-connected state, so that the terminal equipment can automatically release the RRC connection and can be switched to the non-connected state without interaction between the terminal equipment and network equipment corresponding to the current resident cell, the time for switching the terminal equipment to the non-connected state is shortened, the terminal equipment can quickly enter the non-connected state and then quickly reside in a cell supporting a second standard, and the time for the terminal equipment to be out of service is shortened.
Illustratively, if the non-connected state cannot be switched to through other conditions, the terminal device may switch to the non-connected state after determining that the data radio bearer DRB and the protocol data unit PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are released.
In some embodiments, when the currently camped cell does not support NCR and/or the inter-system event report sent by the first scheme is not camped on the second scheme, if it is determined that the DRB and the PDU session corresponding to the DRB are released or the EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is released, the terminal device may switch to a non-connected state.
For example, if the current camping cell does not support NCR, and/or if the first format is a 5G format, the first format sends an inter-system event report, and does not receive the acknowledgement information corresponding to the inter-system event report, the terminal device may switch to the non-connected state when it is determined that the data radio bearer DRB and the protocol data unit PDU session corresponding to the DRB are released.
For another example, if the current camping cell does not support NCR, and/or if the first format is 4G format, the inter-system event report is sent in the first format, and the confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report is not received, the terminal device may switch to the non-connected state when it is determined that the data radio bearer DRB and the evolved packet system EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are released.
In still other embodiments, the switching to the unconnected state includes: sending a different system event report in the first standard; the inter-system event report is used for indicating that the cell which currently resides is switched to the cell supporting the second standard; under the condition that the confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report is not received, switching to the non-connection state; the confirmation information is used for indicating that the cell which is resided currently is switched to the cell which supports the second system.
In some embodiments, the inter-system event report may be a measurement-based report. For example, if the measurement result satisfies the inter-system handover condition, an inter-system event report is sent in the first standard, and the inter-system event report may include the measurement result. For another example, the measurement result does not satisfy the inter-system handover condition, the terminal device modifies the measurement result so that the modified measurement result satisfies the inter-system handover condition, and then the terminal device sends the inter-system event report in the first standard, where the inter-system event report may include the modified measurement result. In other embodiments, the inter-system event report may be a non-measured report. For example, the terminal device may send the inter-system event report directly in the first standard without performing measurement, and the inter-system event report may include a result that is pre-configured and satisfies the inter-system handover condition.
In some embodiments, before the first standard sends the inter-system event report, the method further includes: and initiating inter-system measurement aiming at the first standard.
In some embodiments, the inter-system event report may include or indicate events of at least one of: an A1 event, an A2 event, an A3 event, an A4 event, an A5 event, a B1 event, a B2 event, and the like.
The event A1, event A2, event A3, event A4, event A5, event B1, and event B2 may correspond to an event A1 measurement report, an event A2 measurement report, an event A3 measurement report, an event A4 measurement report, an event A5 measurement report, an event B1 measurement report, and an event B2 measurement report, and the following describes a method for determining each measurement report:
when the Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP) value of the serving cell is higher than the absolute threshold value, an A1 measurement report is output. The A1 event may be used to turn off measurements between certain cells.
And when the RSRP value of the serving cell is lower than the absolute threshold value, outputting an A2 measurement report. The A2 event may be used to turn on measurements between certain cells, since a handover or the like may occur after this event.
And when the RSRP value of the adjacent cell is higher than that of the serving cell, outputting an A3 measurement report. The A3 event occurrence may be used to decide whether the UE is handed over to a neighbor cell.
And when the RSRP value of the adjacent cell is higher than the absolute threshold value, outputting an A4 measurement report.
And when the RSRP value of the serving cell is lower than the absolute threshold value 1 and the RSRP value of the adjacent cell is higher than the absolute threshold value 2, outputting an A5 measurement report. The A5 event may also be used to support handover.
And when the RSRP value of the inter-system adjacent cell is higher than the absolute threshold value, outputting a B1 measurement report. The event B1 represents that the quality of the adjacent cell of the different system is higher than a certain threshold, and when the condition event is reported, the source base station starts a switching request of the different system.
And when the RSRP value of the service cell is lower than the absolute threshold value 1 and the RSRP value of the inter-system adjacent cell is higher than the absolute threshold value 2, outputting a B2 measurement report. The B2 event represents that the quality of the service cell is lower than a certain threshold and the quality of the adjacent cell of the different system is higher than a certain threshold.
In some embodiments, said sending a different system event report in said first standard comprises: and sending a different system event report in the first standard under the condition that the current resident cell does not support NCR and/or the Data Radio Bearer (DRB) and the PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB are not released.
If the first standard is the 5G standard, sending a different system event report in the first standard under the condition that the current resident cell does not support NCR and/or the DRB and the PDU session corresponding to the DRB are not released. If the first standard is 4G, sending a different system event report in the first standard under the condition that the current resident cell does not support NCR and/or the DRB and the EPS bearing corresponding to the DRB are not released.
In some embodiments, the not receiving the acknowledgement information corresponding to the inter-system event report includes: and in a first time period after the inter-system event report is sent, the confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report is not received.
The starting time of the first time period may be an end time at which the inter-system event report is transmitted. The duration corresponding to the first time period may be preset by the terminal device, or configured by the network device, or predefined by the protocol.
In some embodiments, the receiving no acknowledgement information corresponding to the inter-system event report in a first time period after the inter-system event report is sent includes: and the terminal equipment starts a timer with the timing duration being the duration corresponding to the first time period at the tail moment of sending the inter-system event report, and does not receive the confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report before the timer is overtime.
In some embodiments, switching to the non-connected state without receiving confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report includes: and when the acknowledgement information corresponding to the inter-system event report is not received and the PDU session/EPS bearing corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is released, releasing the RRC connection and entering the non-connection state.
In some embodiments, if the PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is not released, the terminal device may determine whether the PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is allowed to be released, and if allowed, the terminal device may release the PDU session/EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB, and release the RRC connection, and enter the non-connected state.
In some implementation processes, the terminal device determines whether the PDU session corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is released or whether the EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is released, and releases the RRC connection and enters the non-connected state, when the terminal device does not receive the acknowledgement information corresponding to the inter-system event report. In addition, under the condition of not releasing, the terminal device determines whether the PDU session corresponding to the DRB and the DRB can be forcibly released or whether the EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB can be forcibly released, and under the condition of being able to forcibly release, the PDU session corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is released or the EPS bearer corresponding to the DRB and the DRB is released, and then the RRC connection is released, and the terminal device enters the non-connected state. In addition, when the forced release cannot be performed, the cell corresponding to the second system is unsuccessfully camped on, or the terminal device is not switched to the non-connected state.
The following describes an embodiment of camping on a cell supporting the second standard through inter-system handover when the terminal device is in a connected state:
in some embodiments, the camping into the cell supporting the second standard through inter-system handover includes: the terminal equipment can send a different system event report in the first standard; the inter-system event report is used for indicating that the cell which currently resides is switched to the cell supporting the second standard; and under the condition of receiving the confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report, switching the cell which currently resides to the cell supporting the second standard through inter-system switching.
In some embodiments, before the first standard sends the inter-system event report, the method further includes: and initiating inter-system measurement aiming at the first standard.
In some embodiments, the receiving of the confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report includes: and receiving confirmation information corresponding to the inter-system event report in a first time period after the inter-system event report is sent.
In this embodiment of the application, a different system event report is sent in the first standard, and when a confirmation message corresponding to the different system event report is received, the cell that is currently camped on is switched to the cell that supports the second standard through the different system switching, so that the cell that is camped on the second standard can be camped on in a switching manner, and in the process of switching the cells corresponding to different standards, the interrupt delay of the terminal device can reach 0, so that the terminal device can be always in a service state.
The following explains a method of determining the second system:
in some embodiments, after the terminal device sends the first information in the first standard, the method further includes: and determining the second system according to the sequence of the priority of the second system centralized system from high to low.
In some embodiments, the priority of the second system-centralized system is determined according to at least one of: and pre-configuring information and signal strength corresponding to each system in the second system set.
In some embodiments, the priority of the second system-based centralized system may be determined by the terminal device according to the preconfigured information. For example, the preconfigured information may include a priority of a system centralized system supported by the maximum capability of the terminal device, and a priority order of the second system centralized system may be consistent with a priority order of the system centralized system supported by the maximum capability. The pre-configuration information may be configuration information predefined before or after the terminal device leaves the factory, or the pre-configuration information may be determined by a user operating to trigger the terminal device, or the pre-definition information may be determined based on the configuration information predefined before or after the terminal device leaves the factory, and by the user operating to trigger the terminal device.
In other embodiments, before determining the priority of the second system centralized system, the terminal device may measure a signal strength corresponding to the second system centralized system, and determine the priority of the second system centralized system according to the signal strength, or determine the priority of the second system centralized system according to the signal strength and the preconfigured information.
In some embodiments, after the first information is sent in the first format, the method further includes: and updating the second system to be the system with the next priority in the second system set under the condition that the system does not reside in the cell supporting the second system.
For example, the terminal device may first determine a standard with the highest priority of a centralized standard of a second standard as the second standard, determine whether to successfully camp to a cell of the second standard, and send second information in the second standard if the camping is successful; and under the condition of residence failure, the terminal equipment determines the system with the second highest priority in the second system centralized system as a second system, re-determines whether to successfully reside in the cell of the second system, and so on until the terminal equipment successfully resides in the second system, so that the terminal equipment can reside in the cell of a certain system in the second system set. In this embodiment, the terminal device will reside in a cell of a certain standard in the second standard set according to the priority of the second standard set from high to low. It should be noted that, in the case that the terminal device fails to camp in the cell of each standard in the second standard set, the terminal device determines that the standard set fails to be changed.
In this way, the terminal device determines the system with the highest priority in the second system set as the second system, tries to camp in the cell corresponding to the second system, and determines the system with the next priority in the second system set as the second system under the condition that the system does not camp in the cell corresponding to the second system or the camping fails until the system successfully camps in the cell corresponding to the second system.
Fig. 5 is a schematic flowchart of another method for transmission according to another embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 5, the method is applied to a terminal device, and the method includes:
s501, a first system set is determined, wherein the first system set comprises at least one first system and at least one second system, the first system is a system currently supported by the terminal equipment, and the second system is a system to be supported by the terminal equipment.
S502, sending first information in the first system, where the first information is used to indicate the first system set.
S503, implicitly deregistering and/or implicitly removing the network of the third system centralized system; the standard in the third standard set is the currently supported standard and is not the standard to be supported.
Under the condition of implicit de-registration and/or implicit de-attachment of the network with the third system centralized system, the terminal equipment can de-register or de-attach the network with the third system centralized system without interaction with the network equipment, namely without a de-registration flow or a de-attachment flow.
In some embodiments, implicitly deregistering and/or implicitly detaching the network of the third centralized standard may be implemented by: and the terminal equipment sets the network state of the third system centralized system as a de-registration state or a de-attachment state. Wherein, under the condition that the third standard centralized standard is a 4G standard, the standard is set to be in a de-attachment state; in the case where the third system centralized system is the 5G system, the system is set in the deregistered state.
Therefore, in the network with the implicit de-registration and/or implicit de-attachment of the third system centralized system, the terminal equipment does not use the third system centralized system any more.
In some embodiments, in a case where the format to be supported includes the first format, the terminal device will not perform step S504 any more, and S503 may be performed before S502 or after S502. Exemplarily, the currently supported systems (i.e., the systems before updating) of the terminal device are a, B, and C, and the terminal device resides in the system a (corresponding to the first system), if the terminal device needs to change the supported systems to the systems a, D, and E (i.e., the updated systems or the systems to be supported), the terminal device may implicitly register the systems B and C, and then the terminal device sends the first information in the system a, where the first information is used to indicate that the first system set is the systems a, D, and E, and the step of S504 is not executed.
In other embodiments, in a case where the format to be supported does not include the first format, the terminal device may perform the step of S503 before S504 or after S504. In addition, in the case where the terminal device resides in the second system, the step of S503 is executed.
S504, sending second information in the second system; the second information is used for indicating a second system set, and the second system set is a system set to be supported.
Therefore, because the terminal device resides in the cell corresponding to the second system, the paging can be monitored through the cell corresponding to the second system, and the paging does not need to be monitored through the currently supported system, so that the terminal device can implicitly register/detach the currently supported system and is not the system to be supported, thereby realizing the synchronization of the system of the terminal device synchronizing with the network device through the second information and the system to be supported by the terminal device.
In some embodiments, the third set of formats may include at least one format. For example, if the currently supported systems are systems a, B, and C, and the systems to be supported are systems D, E, and F, the third set of systems may be systems a, B, and C. For another example, if the currently supported systems are systems a, B, and C, and the systems to be supported are systems a, D, and E, the third set of systems may be systems B and C.
In other embodiments, the third set of formats includes formats other than the format to be supported in the currently supported format. For example, the currently supported systems include systems a, B, and C, and the systems to be supported include systems a, D, and E, then the terminal device may implicitly de-register and/or implicitly de-attach the systems B and C.
In the embodiment of the present application, the network of the third system centralized system is implicitly deregistered and/or implicitly deregistered, so that the terminal device does not need to interact with the network device, and the terminal device self-deregisters and/or detach the network of the third system centralized system, and since the deregistration and/or the detachment are performed by interacting with the network device, the terminal device is in a long-time no-service state after the deregistration/deregistration, and thus cannot process downlink services (for example, called services) for a long time.
In some embodiments, the first information and/or the second information is included in a TAU request or an MRU request.
In still other embodiments, the first information and/or the second information are included in capability information of the terminal device, and the capability information of the terminal device is sent to a network device by the terminal device after receiving a capability query message sent by the network device.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment of the present application, a currently-supported standard, a standard to be supported, a first standard set, a second standard set, and the like are for one Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card of the terminal device, that is, one SIM card corresponds to at least one standard. Or, the embodiment of the application can be applied to the terminal equipment with only one SIM card. In other embodiments, the embodiments of the present application may be applied to a terminal device having a plurality of SIM cards, and each SIM card and a corresponding communication module in the plurality of SIM cards may be all applied to the standard transmission method in the embodiments of the present application.
In the embodiment of the application, how to avoid de-registration to complete the process when a new system set of the multimode terminal needs to be reset is provided, and the influence on the called service is reduced to the minimum or completely eliminated as much as possible.
In some implementation scenarios, if the format set RAT _ CONFIG _1 contains formats a, B, and C, and has successfully camped and registered in format a. If the new format set RAT _ CONFIG _3 to be set at this time includes formats a, D, and E, that is, if the new format set includes format a currently camped and registered, it only needs to initiate an MRU (mobility registration update)/TAU (tracking area update) procedure in format a, and synchronize with the network through this procedure to obtain its latest capability. Thus, the terminal device can avoid unnecessary de-registration and network searching and re-registration processes.
However, in this scenario, the new format set RAT _ CONFIG _3 includes the current resident format, and if the new format set does not include the current resident format, even if there is no intersection between the new format set and the old format set, the whole process cannot be completed simply through the MRU/TAU procedure.
Therefore, if the newly set system set includes the currently resident system, there is an opportunity to complete the setting process of the new system set directly through the flow of TAU/MRU. If there is no resident system currently, or the newly set system set does not contain the currently resident system, other ways need to be considered to change the system set.
Fig. 6 is a schematic flowchart of a method for changing a system set according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 6, the method includes:
s601, the terminal equipment is registered in one system set.
For example, the terminal device may be registered to complete in a certain RAT. S601 may include that the terminal device has already completed registration in one of the currently supported systems.
S602, the terminal equipment needs to change the currently supported system set.
In S602, the currently supported system set that the terminal device needs to change is the system set to be supported. In some embodiments, at the time t1, the terminal device may obtain an instruction obtained by triggering a change of the system set by the user, so that the terminal device determines that the current system set needs to be changed.
S603, if the terminal equipment currently resides in a certain system but the system set needing to be changed does not contain the resident system, determining a second system according to the terminal implementation method, enabling the second system to be the system to be supported, and residing in the second system through processes of switching/reselecting/searching and the like.
In this way, the terminal device may report the system set to be supported by the terminal device via the second system.
S604, if it is determined that the terminal equipment does not have any resident standard currently, or the resident standard already belongs to a standard set to be supported.
S605, the terminal equipment implicitly attaches the system which is not needed any more (namely, the system belongs to the system to be supported but not the system to be supported), and refreshes the capability and the context of each layer according to the system set to be supported.
S606, the terminal equipment successfully changes the system set.
And S607, the terminal equipment searches for the network and resides according to the second system.
In some embodiments, in S604, if the current camping standard of the terminal device already belongs to the standard set to be supported, in S607, the second standard is still the current camping standard of the terminal device. In S604, if it is determined that the terminal device does not currently have any camping standard, in S607, the second standard is a standard reselected by the terminal device.
Through S603 to S607, the terminal device and the network state are synchronized in real time, and the called service is basically not affected.
And S608, the terminal equipment performs registration and capability updating processes according to the second system.
In the embodiment of the present application, a format in which the terminal device finally resides may be included in a format to be supported. For example, the new system set (corresponding to the system to be supported) includes systems a, D, and E, and the system in which the terminal device finally resides is one of the systems a, D, and E. If the terminal equipment is determined not to have any resident system currently or the resident system belongs to the system set needing to be changed, at the time t2, the terminal equipment implicitly attaches the system which is not needed any more, and refreshes the capability and the context of each layer according to the system to be supported. After the capability and context of each layer are refreshed, the system set is successfully changed, and the time at this time is time t3. And the terminal equipment searches for the network according to the second standard and resides at the moment t4. And at the time t4, the terminal equipment performs the capacity updating process according to the second system, and then the process is ended at the time t5.
In some embodiments, if the current camping system of the terminal device already belongs to the system to be supported, the terminal device reports the system to be supported through the current camping system, that is, the terminal device performs the capability updating process according to the current camping system.
Fig. 7 is a schematic flowchart of a system transmission method provided in an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 7, the method is applied to a terminal device, and the method includes:
s701, storing and recording the current system as an 'old system set', and storing and recording the system required to be set as a 'new system set'.
The old system set may correspond to the currently supported system described above, and the new system set may correspond to the system to be supported described above.
S702, judging whether the system does not reside in any system currently.
If S702 is yes, that is, no system is currently camped on, the process jumps to S707. If S702 is no, that is, there is the currently camped system (for example, the first system in the above embodiment), the process goes to S703.
And S703, whether the new system set contains the currently resident system.
For example, if the old format set includes formats a, B, and C, the new format set includes formats D, E, and F, and the new format set does not include the currently camped format.
For another example, the old format set includes formats a, B, and C, the format in which the terminal device currently resides is format a, the new format set includes formats a, D, and E, and the new format set includes the format in which the terminal device currently resides.
For another example, the old format set includes formats a, B, and C, the format in which the terminal device currently resides is format a, the new format set includes formats B, D, and E, and the new format set does not include the format in which the terminal device currently resides.
If S703 is yes, the process proceeds to S722, and if S703 is no, the process proceeds to S704.
S704, taking a union set of the current system and the new system as a temporary system set, and taking the new system set as a target system set of the different system.
The current standard may refer to a currently-camped standard.
For example, the old system set includes systems a, B, and C, the system in which the terminal device currently resides is system a, the new system set includes systems D, E, and F, and the temporary system set may include systems a, D, E, and F.
S705, the target systems of the different systems are arranged according to the priority, and are traversed from high to low one by one to determine the target systems of the different systems (i.e. corresponding to the second system).
In some embodiments, the priority of the target system set of the heterogeneous system may be configured in advance by the terminal device, or configured by the network device to the terminal device, or determined according to the signal quality corresponding to each system detected by the terminal device. In some embodiments, the priorities of the target system sets of the heterogeneous systems may be stored locally.
In some embodiments, the target standard of the different system may be a standard with the highest priority in the target standard set of the different system. In some embodiments, when the terminal device fails to camp on the cell corresponding to the system with the highest priority, the target system of the different system may be the system with the second highest priority in the target system set of the different system. In some embodiments, when the cell corresponding to the system with the second highest priority in which the terminal device resides fails, the target system of the heterogeneous system may be a system with the third highest priority in the target system set of the heterogeneous system, and so on until the terminal device can reside in one system in the target system set of the heterogeneous system. In the embodiment of the application, the terminal device preferentially resides in a cell corresponding to a system with high priority.
And S706, the terminal equipment updates local capability and context of each layer according to the temporary system set and initiates TAU/MRU flow and network synchronization capability.
For example, when the terminal device determines that the temporary format set includes formats a, D, E, and F, the terminal device updates local capabilities and contexts of each layer as follows: and setting the local capability and the context of each layer as the local capability and the context of each layer corresponding to the systems A, D, E and F. Wherein the context can be understood the same as the context information described above.
For example, the old system set includes systems a, B, and C, the system in which the terminal device currently resides is system a, the new system set includes systems D, E, and F, and the terminal device may delete each layer of local capability and context corresponding to systems B and C, and add each layer of local capability and context corresponding to systems D, E, and F.
For example, the terminal device may synchronize the following with the network device through the TAU/MRU procedure: the modes supported by the terminal equipment are A, D, E and F.
And S707, judging whether the current RRC state is in an idle state or not.
If yes in S707, that is, if the current RRC state is in an idle state, the process jumps to S708; if no in S707, that is, if the current RRC state is in a non-idle state, the process jumps to S709.
And S708, initiating a cell reselection or network searching process and residing in the cell of the target system.
The target system cell may be a cell of a different system target system.
S709, whether the current network supports NCR.
If S709 is yes, that is, if the current network supports NCR, go to S710; in the case of no at S709, i.e., in the case that the current network does not support NCR, the process jumps to S711.
S710, the terminal device returns to an idle state by the TAU/MRU request (corresponding to the target request) carrying a cause "NAS signaling connection release (NCR)".
S711, the terminal device determines whether all DRBs and their corresponding PDU sessions/EPS bearers have been released.
If S711 is yes, the process goes to S712, and if S711 is no, the process goes to S713.
S712, the terminal device locally releases the RRC connection to return to the idle state.
S713, the terminal equipment initiates the inter-system measurement aiming at the target system and forcibly reports the corresponding event, and simultaneously starts a timer T _ handover.
The target system may correspond to the second system.
In the implementation process, the terminal device may select a preferred system from the temporary system set as a target system, forcibly initiate inter-system measurement for the system and report a corresponding event, and simultaneously start a timer T _ handover.
And S714, the terminal equipment waits for network response and completes the switching of the different systems.
In implementation, if the network does not respond, it continues to wait for the timer T _ handover.
And S715, whether the network responds and completes the inter-system switching during the running period of the timer T _ handover.
If S715 is yes, the process proceeds to S716, and if S715 is no, the process proceeds to S714.
S716, stopping the timer T _ handover.
And S717, the timer T _ handover is overtime.
S718, the terminal device determines whether to allow to forcibly release all DRBs and their corresponding PDU sessions/EPS bearers.
If S718 is yes, the terminal device releases all DRBs and PDU sessions/EPS bearers corresponding to the DRBs, and jumps to S712 and then to S708. In the case of no at S718, the process proceeds to S719.
And S719, the system set initiated by the user fails to be changed.
After S719 it jumps to S720.
After S708, it jumps to S720.
S720, the terminal equipment determines whether the target system is successfully resided.
If S720 is yes, the process proceeds to S722, and if S720 is no, the process proceeds to S721.
And S721, the terminal equipment determines whether all the modes of the new mode set are traversed.
If S721 is yes, it is determined that the terminal device does not camp in any standard, and then the terminal device may perform S722 after camping in the target standard. If no in S721, the terminal device jumps to S705, and the terminal device reselects the inter-system target system according to the system priority.
S722, terminal equipment implicitly unregisters/implicitly removes the system contained by the old system set but not contained by the new system set, deletes the temporary system set, directly takes effect on the new system set, and updates each layer of local capability and context according to the taken effect system set.
And S723, judging whether the terminal equipment is successfully resided.
If no in S723, the process ends, and then the terminal device may perform S724 after residing in the target system. If S723 is yes, the process jumps to S724.
And S724, the terminal equipment determines whether the current residence and the last residence belong to different systems.
Different systems may be represented as cells corresponding to different systems.
If S724 is yes, go to S725; if no in S724, the process jumps to S726.
S725, the terminal equipment initiates a TAU/MRU flow of the different system.
In S725, the terminal device reports the new system set through the system that resides this time.
For example, the old system sets are systems a, B, and C, the new system sets are systems D, E, and F, the system in which the terminal device last resided is a cell corresponding to the system a, the cell corresponding to the system D resides this time, and the terminal device reports the new system sets (for example, the systems D, E, and F) through the cell corresponding to the system D.
S726, the terminal device initiates TAU/MRU flow and network synchronization latest capability.
In S726, the cell corresponding to the system where the terminal device resides this time is the same as the cell corresponding to the system where the terminal device resides last time, and the terminal device may report a new system set through the cell corresponding to the system.
For example, the old system sets are systems a, B, and C, the new system sets are systems a, D, and E, the system in which the terminal device last resided is a cell corresponding to system a, and the system in which the terminal device resides is a cell corresponding to system a, and the terminal device reports the new system sets (for example, systems a, D, and E) through the cell corresponding to system a.
In some embodiments, the SCG needs to be disconnected if there has been a successful addition of a Secondary Cell Group (SCG) under long term evolution and new air-to-air Dual Connectivity (endec). Thus, if the network in the ENDC previously resides in, the main node and the auxiliary node need to be disconnected, and the network corresponding to the target system needs to be resided again.
In the embodiment of the application, the TAU/MRU trigger cause and flow conform to the 3GPP specification.
In the embodiment of the present application, the target system is still determined according to the preset system priority.
In this embodiment, the temporary format set indicates a format set temporarily used by the UE during a setting process, and may be used for a behavior such as updating capability synchronously with the network.
In this embodiment of the present application, the inter-system target system set (which may correspond to the new system set) indicates an inter-system target system set that is set when inter-system reselection/redirection/handover/search needs to be initiated.
In the embodiment of the present application, whether the network supports NCR indicates whether the received network supports a "NAS signaling connection release" flag during the terminal registration process with the capability of supporting multiple SIMs (MUSIM capability).
In the embodiment of the application, the timer T _ handover is used to monitor the time for the network to issue the handover or redirection command after the reporting of the inter-system measurement report in the RRC connection state in this scenario.
In the embodiment of the present application, whether to allow the forced release of the DRB may be customized by the terminal device according to the product or the user requirement.
In the embodiment of the application, the terminal equipment is transferred to a certain system in the target system set, and then the MRU/TAU process is executed, so that the de-registration process is avoided. The terminal equipment is almost on line all the way to the network, thereby greatly reducing the influence on the called service of the network.
In the embodiment of the application, the time for changing the flow of the system set is shortened: in the whole process, especially in an idle state, the RRC connection does not need to be reestablished to interact with the network because the RRC connection does not need to be registered. Empirically, the de-registration process takes at least several hundred milliseconds, and at most 5 seconds. The time overhead of this process can be subtracted with this method.
In the embodiment of the application, except that the called service may be missed during the inter-system reselection or the network search, other steps are online all the time. In the connection state, connection does not need to be released, the MRU/TAU process can be directly performed on the target system as soon as possible to complete the system change process, and the terminal equipment is almost on line in the whole process.
In the embodiment of the application, when the system change process is executed for the terminal device with multimode capability, the existing process can be used to first reside in a certain cell of a target system set, and then the capability synchronization is performed with the network through the process of MRU/TAU. The process is faster than the traditional way of unregistering; meanwhile, in the whole process, the terminal equipment can be ensured to be on line in the whole process basically, and the called service of the network is not influenced.
The typical mobility Update mode MRU/TAU provided in this embodiment corresponds to a flow in a New Radio, NR/Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, and may also be extended to a Route Area Update (RAU)/Location Update (Location, LU) flow in other systems of 3GPP, such as GSM/Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA)/Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA), for example. Meanwhile, the method can also be extended to position updating of a 3GPP2 system and the like.
Based on the foregoing embodiments, the present application provides a wireless communication apparatus, which includes units included in the apparatus and modules included in the units, and can be implemented by a processor in a terminal device; of course, it may be implemented by a specific logic circuit.
Fig. 8 is a schematic structural diagram of a wireless communication device according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 8, a wireless communication device 800 includes:
a determining unit 801, configured to determine a first system set, where the first system set includes at least one first system and at least one second system, the first system is a system currently supported by the terminal device, and the second system is a system to be supported by the terminal device;
a communication unit 802 for: and sending first information in the first system, wherein the first information is used for indicating the first system set.
In some embodiments, the wireless communications apparatus further comprises: an update unit to:
updating the configuration information of the system of the terminal equipment to the configuration information of the first system centralized system; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
