The occurrence of alopecia areata is closely related to liver, spleen, kidney, heart and lung, and the treatment is mainly treating liver, spleen and kidney are auxiliary, and the treatment is repeated in succession. Liver governs storing blood, and body yin governs yang, and is good at regulating blood volume. Liver blood is abundant and blood is abundant, so that skin and hair orifices can be nourished, and hair can grow normally, and black and bright. Liver governs smoothing flow of qi, qi movement is smooth, spleen and stomach can normally transport and transform, qi, blood and body fluids can normally distribute and metabolize, and hair can be nourished. Spleen and stomach serve as the source of qi and blood and the ascending and descending pivot, so that spleen qi is sufficient to transport essence of water to skin and hair of the whole body, so that the skin and the hair are compact and dense. Kidney stores essence, and essence can produce blood, and liver and kidney are homologous, so liver blood is abundant with help of kidney essence, and kidney essence is abundant, hair is moist and bright and black.
The gingko She Guixin and the lung meridian have the effects of promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, dredging collaterals, relieving pain, astringing lung, relieving asthma, eliminating turbid pathogen and reducing blood fat, have good effects of improving blood flow, and can directly promote healthy regeneration of hair as the hair root is sufficiently nourished along with the increase of blood flow.
Dang Gui and Lithospermum are both indicated for blood deficiency with the effects of nourishing blood, activating blood and cooling blood. The Chinese angelica root enters liver, heart and spleen channels, has the effects of enriching blood and activating blood, and the lithospermum is salty and cold in liver channel blood, can cool blood and activate blood, can detoxify and promote eruption, is used for treating diseases such as warm toxin and spot, severe deficiency heat toxin, skin appearance of purple black spot and the like, has the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, can be used for treating burns and scalds, can be used for filtering and oil-taking and smearing on affected parts after the lithospermum is soaked in sesame oil, and has obvious effect.
The radix codonopsis is a traditional Chinese medicine for tonifying qi, has flat property and sweet taste, has the effects of tonifying middle-jiao and Qi, can regulate inappetence, deficiency and lassitude caused by deficiency of middle-jiao, has the effects of invigorating spleen and lung channel, and can improve the functions of lung and spleen and stomach.
Hedysari is sweet in taste and warm in nature, enters lung and spleen meridians, has the effects of tonifying qi and consolidating exterior, can tonify spleen qi, is a source of qi and blood biochemistry, and can strengthen the blood replenishing and nourishing effects of Chinese angelica because of being often combined with Chinese angelica.
Bai Zhi enters lung, spleen and stomach meridians. Has effects in dispelling pathogenic wind, eliminating dampness, relieving swelling and pain;
rhizoma drynariae has the effects of invigorating the kidney and strengthening bones, and is recorded in Fujian Chinese herbal medicine: "treating alopecia areata": five fresh drynaria fortunei, five cantharides, three or two distilled liquor, soaking for twelve days, filtering and rubbing the affected parts for two to three times daily. "
Bai Zhi has the actions of invigorating spleen and drying dampness, can alleviate the greasy taste of Dang Shen, and can be used as an adjuvant drug for its actions of making rhizoma Drynariae and cantharis warm and dry. The whole prescription is used together for nourishing but not greasy, warming but not dry, has the effects of tonifying and discharging, nourishing liver and kidney, nourishing yin and clearing heat, and tonifying qi and enriching blood, and has obvious effects of clinically treating alopecia areata caused by liver and kidney deficiency, qi and blood deficiency and blood hot air dryness. Therefore, the drugs for supplementing qi are mostly used for supplementing qi, nourishing blood and promoting blood circulation, and the methods of soothing liver, regulating qi, promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis and dredging meridian passage can lead to qi and blood double-supplementing, qi movement regulating, blood circulation and meridian passage, so that the blood is abundant, and the blood circulation is normal and the hair is nourished. The formula has remarkable effect on promoting skin tissue regeneration, so that the formula can be used for treating burn wound crusting and healing.
