China pays more and more attention to the research and practice of green roofs.
With the increasing popularization of high-density residential areas and high-rise residences, the area of underground structures such as underground garages is larger and larger, and in order to meet greening requirements, soil is inevitably covered on the underground structures for greening. In addition, as the urban heat island effect becomes more serious and the requirements of people on living environment are increased, roof gardens are also more and more commonly adopted as auxiliary greening measures. In the roof garden, soil is directly paved on a roof after a waterproof structure is prepared, then greening plants are planted on the soil, at the moment, the plants need to be eradicated when the planted plants need to be replaced, and then new plants are planted, so that the replacement process of the plants is troublesome; meanwhile, because the greening measures are mostly carried out on the basis of a watertight building, the problem that the rainwater cannot permeate and be drained in time when the rainwater is too much is inevitably brought. Water is an indispensable element for plant development, root rot or other diseases of plants can be caused by excessive water in soil, the air permeability of the soil is poor, the growth of the plants is not facilitated, and the safety of a roof garden can be influenced.
