Background
The new type of coronavirus infection pneumonia is a rapid-circulating, large-harm acute infectious pneumonia, and the pathogen of the pneumonia is a new type of coronavirus which is not found in human before. The epidemic must have the following three basic links: the source of infection, the route of transmission and the susceptible population. Without any of these links, it is unlikely to become popular.
From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the novel coronavirus pneumonia belongs to the category of epidemic diseases in traditional Chinese medicine, is an acute infectious disease transmitted through respiratory tracts, and belongs to the class of diseases with strong infectivity, critical and violent illness state and pandemic characteristics in epidemic diseases. The pathogenesis is 'feeling the qi of plague crime', the syndrome differentiation is 'cold-dampness (plague) plague', which is caused by feeling the cold-dampness plague. The Huangdi's classic on medicine states that: the five epidemic diseases are all easy to infect and similar in symptoms without any question of size. Therefore, it is suitable to treat cold pathogen by pungent and warm exterior syndrome relieving, and damp pathogen by aromatic pathogen to avoid foul and eliminate turbid.
For infectious diseases, ancient Chinese medicine emphasizes the importance of prevention, and prevents the occurrence of the diseases by fumigating or wearing medicines. The fumigation and disinfection epidemic prevention method has the characteristics of simple and convenient method, easily obtained medicines, safe use, ideal effect and the like, and is easy to popularize and apply. And can avoid the defects of strong disinfection and stimulation of ultraviolet rays, peroxyacetic acid and chlorine-containing disinfectants and easy damage to skin and mucous membranes.

The label is: sample 1 (95% ethanol, extraction time 24 h), sample 2 (95% ethanol, extraction time 48 h), sample 3 (75% ethanol, extraction time 24 h), sample 4 (75% ethanol, extraction time 48 h).
TABLE 1 sample extraction rate, emodin and chrysophanol content
The results show that the extraction rate of the sample, the content of emodin and chrysophanol are as follows according to different extraction processes from large to small: extracting with 75% ethanol for 24h and about 75% ethanol for 48h>95% ethanol extraction 24h ≈ 95% ethanol extraction 48h (Table 1). The different extraction times did not have a significant effect on the extraction yield (P=0.459 > 0.05), and the ethanol concentration has a significant effect on the extraction yield: (P< 0.001), no interaction between extraction time and ethanol concentration: (P=0.854 > 0.05). In addition, the extraction time and the ethanol concentration have no obvious influence on the content of the emodin and the chrysophanol, and no interaction exists between the extraction time and the ethanol concentration.
Considering that the sample contains ethanol, the same concentration of ethanol is used for effect comparison, and the experimental sample is set as follows:
experimental groups: extracting the traditional Chinese medicine raw materials by 75% ethanol for 24 hours, and diluting the extracting solution by 2 times to obtain a product; control group 1: 37.5% ethanol, control 2: 18.75% ethanol; the amount of each sample was the same.

Culturing at 35 deg.C for 24h and 48h, and observing the growth status of bacteria in the test tube.
The experimental results are as follows:
TABLE 2 determination of the inhibitory Effect of the samples on 5 bacteria by the liquid quantitative suspension test method
Note: 1. "-" indicates clear, sterile growth of the liquid; 2. "+" indicates that the liquid was turbid and there was growth of bacteria.
