Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of a popup display method based on user behavior according to an embodiment of the present application. The electronic book referred to in the following of the present embodiment refers to a digital reading material that can be read by a user through an electronic product, and includes, but is not limited to, novels, textbooks, tool books, science popularization materials, celebrities, and the like. Alternatively, as an embodiment, the process may be applied to a client, for example, a client of a comprehensive application including a reading function or a client of an electronic book application, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment.
As shown in fig. 1, the process may include the following steps:
step 101, when it is detected that the application program is started by a target user, acquiring an operation behavior record of the target user for a designated type popup and a reading behavior record of the target user for an electronic book.
In this embodiment, after the client of the application program is started to run, the user behavior record of the target user is obtained, which includes the operation behavior record and the reading behavior record. The operation behavior record is mainly a history record of an operation behavior of the target user for the specified type popup in the embodiment, for example, a proportion, a frequency, a time point of behaviors such as closing the specified type popup, triggering a skip option in the specified type popup, not executing any operation on the specified type popup, and the like, and may be used to decide whether to display the target specified type popup for the target user or determine a form of the target specified type popup in the following, and the like, and this embodiment does not limit this, where the target specified type popup is a specific one of the specified type popup, and it is not necessary to specifically determine to perform individual statistics on the target specified type popup when counting the operation behavior of the specified type popup; the reading behavior record is mainly a history of behaviors of the target user related to the electronic book or the electronic book reading in the client, for example, browsing a book city, browsing electronic book detail pages, aiming at the reading progress of each electronic book, storing the electronic book in a bookshelf, and the like.
Optionally, the operation of obtaining the user behavior record may be performed immediately after detecting that the application client is started, or may be performed after detecting that the application client is started and waits for a certain duration or waits for other conditions to be met, for example, a waiting duration may be set according to a time required by initialization and operation of the client, and the operation is performed after the waiting duration, so as to avoid reducing a starting speed of the client and affecting user experience; the above operations may also be executed after detecting other operation instructions from the user, for example, entering a specific interface in the application program, to ensure that the user is currently using the application program or using a service function related to reading an electronic book, improve the pertinence of the popup, improve the utilization rate of the user for the jump option in the popup, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment.
Optionally, the client may identify the target User identity and obtain the User characteristics thereof according to an account used by the target User, for example, through a User Identification (UID) and the like; the target user Identity may be identified by a code of the device where the client is located, which can be used to identify hardware, for example, by an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), a Media Access Control Address (MAC Address), an operating system ID, etc.; the target user identity can be identified by using the related code of the application program client, such as the installation package identification of the application program; in addition, other identification codes capable of uniquely identifying the identity of the target user can be calculated and generated based on a preset algorithm according to any one or more of the codes, and the like.
Step 102, if the operation behavior record indicates that the target user pays attention to the popup window of the specified type, determining a target electronic book to be recommended according to the reading behavior record, and determining a target interface corresponding to the target electronic book;
103, displaying a target specified type popup to a target user on an initial interface of an application program; and the target specified type popup window at least comprises a jump option for jumping to a target interface.
In this embodiment, after it is determined that the operation behavior record of the target user indicates that the target user pays attention to the specified type popup, the target specified type popup is displayed in the client for the target user, and the target specified type popup at least includes a jump option for jumping to a target interface associated with the target electronic book. The client displays a target specified type popup window on the initial interface and detects the subsequent operation of the user; optionally, after detecting the operation of triggering the jump option, recording the initial interface, for switching back to the initial interface after subsequently exiting the target interface.
In this embodiment, the target electronic book may be a certain electronic book, or may be multiple electronic books, such as multiple electronic books of the same series, multiple electronic books of the same author, multiple electronic books under the same category or subject, multiple electronic books in recommended ranking or hot ranking, and so on, and the number of the target electronic books and the relationship between the books are not limited in this embodiment; the target interface is an interface related to the target electronic book, such as a detail page, an introduction page, a text page, a recommended ranking page, and the like of the target electronic book, in this embodiment, the target electronic book and the target interface may be determined according to the reading behavior record of the target user, and there are a plurality of specific determination manners, and hereinafter, several optional implementation manners will be illustrated by way of example, and will not be described herein again.
As an alternative embodiment, it may be determined whether the target user pays attention to the specific type popup according to the number of consecutive closures of the target user for the specific type popup, that is, the operation behavior record of the target user for the specific type popup includes the number of consecutive closures of the target user for the specific type popup, if the number of consecutive closures of the target user for the specific type popup is less than a preset number of consecutive closures threshold, it is determined that the target user pays attention to the specific type popup based on the operation behavior record, and if the number of consecutive closures of the target user for the specific type popup is greater than or equal to the preset number of consecutive closures threshold, it is determined that the target user does not pay attention to the specific type popup based on the operation behavior record. Further, when it is indicated that the target user does not pay attention to the designated type popup, the target designated type popup is prohibited from being displayed to the target user.
Based on the above, the user who continuously closes the designated type popup for a certain number of times can be determined as the user who does not pay attention to the designated type popup, and the target designated type popup is not displayed for the user, wherein the closing can be performed after the user is detected to trigger a closing option in the target designated type popup, or can be performed automatically after the target designated type popup is set to wait for a preset time, and the like; the time threshold value can be set according to actual requirements, for example, the time threshold value can be uniformly set to three times, and when the specified type popup is continuously displayed for three times and the user does not trigger the skip option in the popup, the specified type popup is not displayed for the user subsequently, so that the user is prevented from being disturbed to influence the experience of the user; the threshold of the consecutive closing times may also be set for different users, and for a user who uses the skip function in the designated type popup many times, the threshold of the consecutive closing times may be greater than the corresponding threshold of a user who uses the skip function in the designated type popup less frequently, and so on, which is not limited in this embodiment. Optionally, after the client no longer displays the designated type popup for the target user, the user may go to the client setting interface or a corresponding setting interface in the e-book reading service to perform a recovery operation, so as to reset the recorded continuous closing times and resume displaying the designated type popup.
As an alternative embodiment, if the reading behavior record indicates that the target user has a reading progress for at least one electronic book, the target electronic book is selected from the electronic books with the reading progress, and the target interface is determined according to the reading progress of the target user for the target electronic book.
Based on this, when the reading progress of the target user for one or more electronic books has been recorded in the application program, the target electronic book may be selected randomly or according to a certain condition, for example, an electronic book with the latest reading time, the highest reading progress ratio, the latest updating time, or the highest book score may be selected from the multiple electronic books as the target electronic book, and the specific selection manner is not limited in this embodiment; the target interface is an interface related to the selected target electronic book, and may be determined according to the reading progress, for example, when the reading progress of the target user for the target electronic book is chapter twentieth, page 15, page 16, etc., so as to improve the pertinence of the pop-up window and attract the user to use the function, where the interface to which the skip option specifically points is not limited in this embodiment.
As an alternative embodiment, if the reading behavior record indicates that the target user has at least one bookrack addition record of the electronic book, the target electronic book is selected from the electronic books stored in the bookrack, and the target interface is determined according to a book detail page or a first page of the text of the target electronic book.
Based on this, the target electronic book may be determined according to the electronic book recording condition in the bookshelf of the target user, that is, the electronic book with the latest adding time, the earliest adding time, the highest book score, or the latest updating time may be selected from the bookshelf as the target electronic book, and the specific selecting manner is not limited in this embodiment; due to the lack of the reading progress record, pages such as a book detail page or a first page of a text of the target electronic book can be determined as a target interface pointed by the jump option, and a user is attracted to start reading the target electronic book.
As an alternative embodiment, if the reading behavior record indicates that the target user has a record of using the e-book city, the target e-book is selected from the e-book city, and the target interface is determined according to the book detail page of the target e-book.
Based on this, when it is determined that the target user has a record of using the electronic book city or using the electronic book in the application program to read the related service function, the current popular book, the high-score book, the latest updated book and the like can be selected from the electronic book city and recommended to the target user as the target electronic book, and the page such as the book detail page or the text first page of the target electronic book is determined as the target interface directed by the jump option, so that the user is attracted to start reading the target electronic book, and the electronic book recommendation function is achieved.
As an alternative embodiment, the electronic book in the limited state may be determined based on the reading behavior record, and the target electronic book may be selected from the remaining electronic books other than the electronic book in the limited state, where the reading behavior record includes the state of the electronic book, and when the electronic book is recommended through the target specified type popup, if a closing operation for the target specified type popup is detected, the state of the electronic book is marked as the limited state.
Based on this, when a certain electronic book or information related to the electronic book is displayed for a target user through a target specified type popup, if it is detected that the target user closes the target specified type popup, the target user can be considered to be uninteresting in the electronic book, and the electronic book is marked, so that the electronic book is selected from unmarked electronic books when the target electronic book is selected subsequently, and the pertinence of the popup is further improved; optionally, the corresponding electronic book may be marked after detecting a closing operation, or the corresponding electronic book may be marked after detecting a closing operation for multiple times or multiple consecutive times, exceeding a preset threshold, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment; the threshold number of times should be below the threshold number of consecutive closures that determines whether the user is not interested in a given type of popup.
As an alternative embodiment, the display manner of the target specification type popup may be implemented by referring to the bottom popup display manner in the interface diagrams in fig. 3 and fig. 4. The target-specified type popup window in fig. 3 may correspond to a situation where the target user has a reading progress and the target interface is determined according to the reading progress, and when the target user triggers the "continue reading" jump option in the bottom popup window, the target user jumps to a chapter where the reading progress of the target electronic book is located from the current interface, for example, the target user may jump to chapter 349 of the electronic book in the drawing; the target-specific popup in fig. 4 may correspond to a situation where the target user has no reading progress, but an electronic book or a use record of the book city is stored in the bookshelf, and when the target user triggers the "go to read" jump option in the bottom popup, the target user jumps to an introduction page of the target electronic book, and so on.
As an alternative embodiment, in addition to the bottom pop-up window form exemplarily illustrated in fig. 3 and 4, the target specification type pop-up window may be presented in any form of a top pop-up window, a side pop-up window, a screen insertion pop-up window, a guide pop-up window, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment.
Based on the method, different expression forms can be set for the target specified type popup according to actual requirements so as to improve the flexibility of the popup function; further, the same popup window form can be displayed for all users, or different popup window forms can be adopted for different types of users, for example, for users with more reading records and more frequent e-book reading services, a relatively more striking popup window can be adopted to guide the user to go to a target interface more directly and conveniently, and for users with less reading records and less e-book reading services, a relatively more concealed bottom popup window form can be adopted for display, so that the influence on the use of an application program is reduced, and the user experience is optimized.
As an optional embodiment, if there are other popup windows in the application program besides the target-specified type popup window, the popup windows in the application program except the target-specified type popup window may be masked; or acquiring the display priority order of all popup windows in the application program, detecting whether the high-priority popup windows with the display priority order higher than that of the target-specified type popup windows are completely closed, and executing the step of displaying the target-specified type popup windows to the target user after detecting that the high-priority popup windows are completely closed.
Based on this, under the condition that a plurality of popup windows occur in the application program, the problem that the popup window display effect is affected when the popup window of the target specified type and other popup windows occur simultaneously in the application program can be solved by shielding other popup windows or waiting for the popup window of the high priority prior to the popup window of the target specified type to be closed and then displaying the popup window of the target specified type, and the phenomenon that the attention of a user is dispersed or extra load is caused to a client side is avoided, so that the user experience is optimized.
As an optional embodiment, after receiving an operation command for a jump option, jumping from the initial interface to the target interface, when an operation of exiting the target interface is detected, determining the exit frequency of the target interface, if the exit frequency of the target interface is less than a preset exit frequency threshold, jumping to an upper interface of the target interface after exiting the target interface, and if the exit frequency of the target interface is not less than the preset exit frequency threshold, jumping to the initial interface after exiting the target interface.
Based on this, when the user exits the target interface and enters the designated interface through the skip option, the interface displayed after exiting the target interface is determined according to the target interface exit frequency of the target user, wherein the target interface exit frequency is the frequency of exiting the target interface after the target user skips to the target interface through the skip option, for example, the frequency of using the skip option in the designated type popup by the target user is low, and when the user uses the skip option for the first three times, the user exits the target interface and switches to the upper interface of the target interface instead of the interface before skipping, so as to help the user to be familiar with the entry mode of the target interface and attract the user to enter the target interface by himself when the target designated type popup is not displayed; and when the target user uses the jump options in the designated type popup for more times, if the jump options are used for more than three times, the user quits the target interface and then switches the target interface to the interface recorded before the jump so as to help the target user to continue browsing or use the interface or service function interrupted by executing the jump and reading the electronic book. Optionally, the upper interface of the target interface may be implemented with reference to the client interface shown in fig. 5, that is, an interface displaying operation options for entering the e-book reading service function; other interfaces such as an electronic book city may be used, which is not limited in this embodiment.
Thus, the flow shown in fig. 1 is completed.

as an embodiment, when the application client is started or meets other preset conditions, the operation behavior record and the reading behavior record of the target user currently using the client are obtained, and specific target user identity confirmation methods and the like refer to the related contents, which are not described herein again.
Step 202, judging whether the target user is an electronic book user or not;
as an embodiment, judging whether the user is an e-book user according to the obtained target user behavior record, if not, executing step 204 without displaying the user, namely, target popup window, otherwise, continuing to execute the corresponding judgment operation in step 203; optionally, the user may be determined to be an electronic book user if the behavior record of the user includes a usage record of business functions related to the electronic book, such as whether the user has entered an electronic book city interface, whether the user has browsed a recommended ranking of the electronic book, whether the user has read the electronic book, and the like.
Step 203, judging whether the target user continuously closes the designated type popup window;
as an embodiment, it is determined whether the operation behavior record of the target user includes a continuous closing operation for the designated type popup, if the continuous closing time of the user is greater than a preset time, for example, 3 times, step 204 is executed, the target designated type popup is not displayed for the user, otherwise, the corresponding determination operation in step 205 is continuously executed; the continuous closing refers to that jump options in a popup of a specified type are not triggered or related business functions read by an electronic book are not used among a plurality of closing operations.
Step 204, not displaying the target specified type popup;
as an embodiment, when it is determined that the target user is not an e-book user or continuously closes the designated type popup more than a preset number of times, it may be considered that the target user does not pay attention to the designated type popup, and thus the target designated type popup is not displayed for the target user to optimize the user experience.
Step 205, judging whether the target user has a reading record;
as an embodiment, after it is determined that a target-specified type popup needs to be displayed for a target user, a target interface specifically pointed to by a skip option in the target-specified type popup needs to be further determined; in this step, if the target user has read records of one or more electronic books, step 206 is entered, and a corresponding target interface is determined for the target user based on the read records, otherwise step 207 is entered, and a target interface is determined for the target user based on other contents in the read behavior records.
Step 206, determining a target interface based on the reading record, and displaying a target specified type popup;
as an embodiment, when a target user has a reading record for a target electronic book, determining the target electronic book as the target electronic book; when there are reading records for a plurality of electronic books, one electronic book with the latest reading time, the highest reading progress ratio, the latest updating time or the highest book score can be selected as the target electronic book. After the target electronic book is determined, the target interface can be set as a page corresponding to a chapter or paragraph where the target user reads the progress, and a target-specified type popup containing a jump option for jumping to the target page is displayed for the target user.
Step 207, judging whether a book exists in the bookshelf of the target user;
as an embodiment, if one or more electronic books exist in the bookshelves of the target user, step 208 is entered, and a corresponding target interface is determined for the target user based on the electronic books in the bookshelves, otherwise step 209 is entered, and a corresponding target interface is determined for the target user based on the recommended book.
Step 208, determining a target interface based on the books in the bookshelf, and displaying target specified type popup windows;
as an embodiment, when there is only one electronic book in the bookshelf of the target user, the electronic book is determined as the target electronic book; when a plurality of electronic books exist in the bookshelf of the target user, one electronic book with the latest joining time, the earliest joining time, the highest book score or the latest updating time can be selected as the target electronic book. After the target electronic book is determined, the target interface can be set as a page where a book introduction page or a first text page of the target electronic book is located, and a target specified type popup containing a jump option for jumping to the target page is displayed for a target user.
And step 209, determining a target interface based on the recommended books, and displaying target specified type popup windows.
As an example, when the target user lacks reading progress and there is no e-book in the bookshelf, an e-book may be selected from the recommended books as the target e-book, for example, a current popular book, a top-scoring book, a latest updated book, etc. may be selected from the e-book city as the target e-book and recommended to the target user. After the target electronic book is determined, the target interface can be set as a page where a book introduction page or a first text page of the target electronic book is located, and a target specified type popup containing a jump option for jumping to the target page is displayed for a target user.
Thus, the flow shown in fig. 2 is completed.
