Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart illustrating a method for displaying pages of a bookshelf according to an embodiment of the present invention, where an electronic book application is taken as an example for illustration in the embodiment, and of course, the present invention is not limited to an application scene. As shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step S101, a bookshelf page access request is received.
For example, a bookshelf entry control is set in a page of an electronic book application, a user can jump to a bookshelf page by touching the bookshelf entry control, and when a triggering operation of the user on the bookshelf entry control is received, it is determined that a bookshelf page access request is received.
Step S102, according to the bookshelf page access request, calling book information of each book currently located in the bookshelf, wherein the book information comprises book page number and book type.
For example, after the user purchases the book, the operation of adding the book to the bookshelf is performed according to the prompt message, the book is added to the bookshelf according to the operation performed by the user, or the operation of adding the book to the bookshelf provided by the system is triggered, and the book is added to the bookshelf according to the triggering operation added to the bookshelf control, which is not limited in this respect.
And calling the book pages and the book types of the books in the bookshelf according to the bookshelf page access request, wherein the book pages are used for determining the width of the book spine, and the book types are used for determining the height of the book spine.
And step S103, determining the spine width and the spine height of each book according to the book pages and the book types.
For the corresponding solid book, the spine refers to the connecting part of the front cover and the back cover of the book and periodical. In the invention, the spine of each book is generated and presented in the pages of the bookshelf, and the spine can be in a rectangular shape with a specific width and a specific height. Therefore, the effect of simulating a real bookshelf can be achieved. Note that the width and height of the spine of each book are not uniformly set, but are determined based on the book information of each book itself.
Specifically, the spine width is determined according to the book page number, for example, a preset thickness value of each page is specified in advance, and the spine width can be obtained by calculating the product of the book page number and the preset thickness value; the spine height is determined according to the book type, and the shapes of different types of books are different, for example, tool books such as dictionaries, etc. tend to be thick and short, while books such as magazines tend to be thin and high, and thus the spine height can be determined according to the book type.
And step S104, responding to the bookshelf page access request, and displaying bookshelf pages, wherein the bookshelf pages present the book spines of the books according to the determined book spine width and book spine height of the books.
After the spine width and the spine height of each book are determined, in response to a bookshelf page access request, bookshelf pages are presented in which the spine of each book is presented at the determined spine width and book height.
Therefore, according to the display method of the bookshelf pages provided by the embodiment, the spine width is determined according to the number of pages of the books, the spine height is determined according to the types of the books, the spine of each book is displayed in the bookshelf pages according to the determined spine width and the determined spine height, compared with the bookshelf pages in the book cover mode, the area occupied by the spine is small, the bookshelf pages in the spine mode can display more spines in a limited space, a user can conveniently search the spine or change the spine position and the like, the visual effect of the books placed on the bookshelf can be simulated by the mode, and meanwhile, the user can conveniently presume the content of the corresponding books and the types of the books according to the spines displayed in the bookshelf pages.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of a method for displaying pages of a bookshelf according to another embodiment of the present invention, and in this embodiment, an electronic book application is taken as an example for illustration, but the present invention is not limited to an application scenario. As shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
step S201, receiving a bookshelf page access request, and calling book information of each book currently located in a bookshelf according to the bookshelf page access request, wherein the book information includes the number of pages of the book and the type of the book.
For a specific implementation of this step, reference may be made to the description of step S101 to step S102, which is not described herein again.
Step S202, determining the width of the spine of each book according to the number of pages of the book and the preset thickness value of each page.
In the invention, a simulation strategy is adopted to display the pages of the bookshelf, the real visual effect of the entity books placed on the bookshelf is simulated, the spine width of the entity books can reflect the page number or the content of the books, and for the electronic books, the data volume of the electronic books can reflect the content of the books to a certain extent, but the limitation exists in determining the spine width of the books according to the data volume of the electronic books. For example, for the same book, the formats of the electronic books are different, and the data amounts are different, so that the spine widths corresponding to the same book in different electronic book formats are inconsistent, and the data amounts of the electronic books are also greatly affected by the pictures in the electronic books, for example, the data amount of a child picture book electronic book including a large number of pictures is large, so that the spine width determined according to the data amount is large, but actually, the number of pages or the content of the child picture book is small, and a user sees that the spine may mistakenly draw many pages or contents of the child book, thereby misleading the user. Therefore, it is not reasonable to determine the spine width of the book according to the data amount of the electronic book.
In this embodiment, the spine width of each book is determined according to the book pages, specifically, a preset thickness value is specified, and for each book, the product of the book pages and the preset thickness value is calculated to obtain the spine width of the book. Wherein, the thickness preset value can be set according to actual needs. The method for determining the width of the book spine according to the page number of the book is a uniform mode, the mode cannot be influenced by factors such as electronic book formats or pictures, a user can presume the content of the book according to the width of the book spine presented in the page of the bookshelf, in addition, the difference of the content between different books can be reflected through the difference of the width of the book spine, and the overall visual effect of the page of the bookshelf is improved.
The number of pages of the book can be the total number of pages of the book or the number of unread pages of the book. The manner in which the width of the spine is determined based on the total number of pages of the book enables a user to infer the amount of content of the book based on the width of the spine as presented in the pages of the bookshelf. The manner of determining the width of the spine according to the number of unread pages of the book enables a user to presume the amount of unread content of the book, the reading progress and the like according to the width of the spine presented in the pages of the bookshelf. In practical application, for each book currently located on the bookshelf, the spine width of each book may be determined by uniformly adopting one of the above manners, or an appropriate manner may be selected according to the total number of pages of the book and the number of unread pages of the book to determine the spine width for each book. For example, when the total number of pages of a book is large, the unread pages of the book can be obtained, and the spine width of the book is determined according to the unread pages of the book, or when the unread pages of the book are small, the total number of pages of the book can be obtained, and the spine width of the book is determined according to the total number of pages of the book. Of course, the present invention is not limited to this, and those skilled in the art can select the target according to actual needs.
Step S203, according to the book type, inquiring the book type and height data mapping table, and determining the spine height of each book.
Different types of books have different heights, for example, tool books such as dictionaries, etc. tend to have a shorter height, whereas magazines have higher heights, and thus the spine height can be determined according to the type of book. The book type and height data implicit table stores mapping relationships between book types and book spine heights, for example, a mapping relationship between a dictionary and a book spine height, a mapping relationship between a magazine and a book spine height, a mapping relationship between a novel and a book spine height, and the like. After the book type is extracted, a book type and height data mapping table is inquired, and the spine height of the book is determined according to the book type.
In addition, in practical applications, the height of the spine of the book may be determined according to the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) of the book, or according to the size standard of the published book, which is not limited in the present invention.
And step S204, responding to the bookshelf page access request, and displaying bookshelf pages, wherein the bookshelf pages present the book spines of the books according to the determined book spine width and book spine height of the books.
Optionally, the spine of each book is sequentially presented in the pages of the bookshelf according to the chronological order of adding the books to the bookshelf. The arrangement sequence of the book spines of the books in the pages of the bookshelf is determined according to the time sequence of adding the books to the bookshelf, for example, the closer the book adding time to the bookshelf is to the current time, the earlier the arrangement sequence of the book spines is, the farther the book adding time to the bookshelf is from the current time, the later the arrangement sequence of the book spines is, and then the book spines of the books are presented in the pages of the bookshelf according to the arrangement sequence. Wherein the time when the book is added to the bookshelf may be a time when an operation of adding the book to the bookshelf performed by the user is detected.
Then, the related information of the book may be presented on the corresponding spine, specifically, the related information of the book is extracted in step S201, and the extracted book information further includes: book name, book author, and/or book publishing information, which is presented on the spine when the bookshelf pages are displayed. The information related to the books is also displayed on the book spine, so that the user can conveniently and quickly find the book spine of the needed book.
Further, the spine corresponding to the book that is recently read by the user may be identified, specifically, the book that is recently read in the bookshelf is determined, and the preset tag is displayed on the spine of the book that is recently read in the bookshelf page, for example, a gesture touch event that is recently received in the bookshelf page and is directed to the spine may be determined, and the book that is corresponding to the spine that is recently received in the bookshelf page is the book that is recently read. In practical applications, the spine of the most recently read book may also be presented at the first position of the bookshelf pages.
In the embodiment, the book spines of the books are displayed in the pages of the bookshelf, compared with the prior art, the book spines of more books can be displayed in a limited space due to the fact that the occupied area of the book spines is small, a user can conveniently find the book spines of the needed books or change the positions of the book spines, and meanwhile, the visual effect of placing the entity books on the bookshelf can be simulated.
Optionally, a check-in control can be displayed in a bookshelf page; and/or displaying the total reading time length in a preset period in a bookshelf page; and displaying the book city entry control in the bookshelf page, so that the user can jump to the book city page after triggering the book city entry control.
And a check-in control can be displayed in a bookshelf page, and when a user triggers the check-in control, the user jumps to a check-in interface. The total reading time of the user in the preset period may also be counted, and the total reading time is displayed in the bookshelf display page, for example, "20 minutes have been read in this week" is displayed in the bookshelf display page, of course, the preset period may also be daily, weekly, monthly, or the preset period is set by the user, which is not limited in the present invention. And displaying a book city entry control in the bookshelf page, and jumping to the book city page when detecting that the book city entry control is triggered.
Step S205, receiving a gesture touch event in a bookshelf page, determining a target spine according to a touch area of the gesture touch event, and jumping to a reading interface of a book corresponding to the target spine in response to the gesture touch event.
In this embodiment, the spine of each book displayed in the bookshelf page may be clicked and dragged, for example, when a user clicks the spine of the bookshelf page, a reading interface of the book corresponding to the clicked spine is displayed for the user to read; when a user drags the book spine in the bookshelf page, the position of the dragged book spine is changed according to the dragging action of the user.
Before responding to the gesture touch event, it is necessary to determine the target spine to which the gesture touch event is directed, so as to execute the relevant operation according to the target spine. Specifically, the target spine is determined according to the touch region of the gesture touch event, for example, the target spine may be determined according to a hot region of each spine included in the touch region, and after the target spine is determined, the reading interface of the book corresponding to the target spine is displayed in response to the gesture touch event. The hot area refers to an area capable of responding to a gesture touch event, the hot area of the spine is an area included by the spine, and in this embodiment, the area included by the spine is a rectangular area having a width and a height.
In this embodiment, the spine width is determined according to the book page number of each book, and the spine height is determined according to the book type, so that the spine of each book presented on the bookshelf page has a certain difference in width and height, and the spine can be conveniently clicked by the user due to the difference in width and height. For example, when the width of the spine of a book is small and the height of the book is large, the user can accurately select the spine by clicking the upper part of the spine.
In practical applications, there may be a case where a user touches hot areas of a plurality of book spines in a single touch gesture event, and at this time, the specific step of determining the target book spine according to the touch area of the gesture touch event includes: if the touch region comprises a plurality of hot regions of the book spines, calculating the ratio of the area of the hot region of each book spine in the touch region to the area of the touch region, and determining the book spine corresponding to the hot region with the maximum ratio as the target book spine. When the touch region of the touch gesture event contains a plurality of hot regions of the book spines, calculating the heat proportion of each book spine in the touch region, namely determining the area of each hot region of each book spine in the touch region and the area of the touch region, then respectively calculating the ratio of the area of each hot region of each book spine in the touch region to the area of the touch region, and determining the book spine corresponding to the hot region with the largest ratio as the target book spine. Through the mode of calculating the heat proportion, the user can be assisted in carrying out accurate operation.
Step S206, receiving a gesture dragging event in a bookshelf page, determining a target spine according to an initial touch area of the gesture dragging event, determining a dragging position according to a termination touch area of the gesture dragging event, and moving the target spine to the dragging position in response to the gesture dragging event.
Similar to the gesture touch event, before responding to the gesture drag event, it is necessary to determine the target spine for which the gesture drag event is directed, so as to perform the relevant operation on the target spine. Specifically, the target spine is determined according to the initial touch region of the gesture dragging event, wherein when the initial touch region includes a plurality of hot regions of the spine, the target spine is determined according to a ratio between an area of each hot region of the spine in the initial touch region and an area of the initial touch region, which is consistent with the above method and is not described herein again. And then, determining a dragging position according to the termination touch area of the gesture dragging event, and moving the target spine to the dragging position in response to the gesture dragging event.
In addition, the execution order of step S205 and step S206 is not limited in the present invention.
On the basis of the mode that the bookshelf pages show the book spines of the books, the book spines of the books can be displayed in layers in the bookshelf pages. That is, the bookshelf pages contain at least one bookshelf tier, and the spine of the book belonging to each bookshelf tier is presented at each bookshelf tier of the bookshelf pages. After the spine width of each book is determined, the spine of the book belonging to each bookshelf layer is determined according to the arrangement sequence of the spines and the spine width, and the spine of the book belonging to each bookshelf layer is presented in the corresponding bookshelf layer.
Furthermore, the width of the spine of the book can be adaptively adjusted according to the space size of the bookshelf layers, and when the number of the books belonging to any bookshelf layer is smaller, the width of the spine of at least one book can be amplified, or the width of the spine of each book can be amplified in an equal ratio; when the number of books belonging to any bookshelf layer is larger, the width of the spine of at least one book can be reduced, or the width of each book can be reduced in an equal ratio. Specifically, for any bookshelf layer, whether the spine width of at least one book belonging to the bookshelf layer is scaled or not is determined according to the sum of the whole width of the bookshelf layer and the spine width of the at least one book belonging to the bookshelf layer.
For example, books belonging to the first bookshelf layer have ten books, the sum of the spine widths of the books is smaller than the total width of the bookshelf layer, but the difference between the sum of the spine widths and the total width is smaller than the spine width of the eleventh book, so that the spine of the eleventh book and the spine of the other books are displayed in the next bookshelf layer, and at this time, a certain space is left in the first bookshelf layer, and a book with the spine width smaller than a preset width threshold value belonging to the bookshelf layer can be searched, and the spine width of the book is enlarged.
In practical application, there may be a case where the width of the spine of each book belonging to the same bookshelf layer is relatively small, and thus, there are many spines present in the bookshelf layer, which is not favorable for the user to accurately select the spine, and therefore, the number of spines present in the same bookshelf layer may be limited. Specifically, the number of books defining each bookshelf layer is less than or equal to a preset upper limit value. In addition, the spine of the book arranged at the first or the last position in the bookshelf layer can be inclined and presented according to a preset inclination angle.
In summary, in the present invention, the spine width of a book is related to the number of pages of the book, and the number of pages of the book is related to the typesetting format of the book, where the typesetting format includes: size of font, line spacing, font, etc. For example, for a book, if the font is increased, the number of pages of the book increases, if the line spacing is increased, the number of pages of the book also increases, and if the font of the book content is changed, the number of pages of the book also changes to some extent. In the electronic book application, the typesetting formats of all books are consistent, in a popular way, the typesetting formats are equivalent to configuration information, and if a user changes the typesetting format of a book in the process of reading the book, the typesetting formats of other books can be changed correspondingly. Therefore, when the user adjusts the typesetting format of the book, the book pages of other books are changed, and at this time, the spine width of each book needs to be redetermined according to the book pages of each book with the changed typesetting format.
Specifically, for any bookshelf layer, when the typesetting format of any book belonging to the bookshelf layer is changed, the updated page numbers of all books in the bookshelf layer after the change of the typesetting format are determined, and the spine width of each book is re-determined according to the updated page numbers of all books in the bookshelf layer. This way the spine width of each book in any bookshelf layer is adjusted. In practical application, when the typesetting format of any book in the bookshelf pages is changed, the width of the spine of each other book in the whole bookshelf pages can be adjusted, which is not described herein again, and certainly, the scheme of the invention is not limited thereto.
In addition, the books currently located in the bookshelf may also include series of books, such as magazines distributed by date, novels divided into several parts, and the like, and therefore, on the basis of the manner in which the aforementioned bookshelf pages present the spine of each book, it is further possible to present the spines of a plurality of books belonging to the same series side by side in the bookshelf pages. For example, magazines in the same series are displayed side by side, and books in the same series are displayed side by side.
In the prior art, when a user finishes reading a book, if the user wants to read other books which are not added to a bookshelf or purchased, the user needs to go to a book city to search for the books. For example, for each book in the same series, if the user finishes reading the first book of the series of books and needs to read the subsequent second book, third book, etc., and the user does not purchase any subsequent book, the user needs to go to the book circle to search for the subsequent books, or perform global search to search for the subsequent books, which is very troublesome for the user.
Based on the above, each book which is not located on the bookshelf in the series of books can be further presented, specifically, the book is presented in the form of an index control. The method comprises the following specific steps: before displaying the pages of the bookshelf, judging whether at least one book in the series of books exists in each book currently positioned in the bookshelf and other books in the series which belong to the same book with the at least one book do not exist in the bookshelf; if so, presenting an index control of other books in a series which is the same as the at least one book at the adjacent position of the at least one book in the bookshelf page, so that when a user triggers the index control, jumping to the download page of the other books corresponding to the index control. That is to say, in this embodiment, the books in the same series are all presented side by side in the bookshelf page, but the books currently on the bookshelf and the books not currently on the bookshelf in the same series are presented in different manners, which can facilitate the user to download the books not added to the bookshelf in the series of books, and simplify the user's operation.
