Produced in Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan and other places. The fruits are collected after being ripe, cleaned and dried in the sun. Bitter taste and mild nature. It enters liver and kidney meridians. Has the effects of regulating qi, resolving hard mass and relieving pain. Can be used for treating hernia pain, swelling and pain of testis, mammary abscess, and nodules of breast.
Carapax Trionycis is the dorsal scale of Trionycis of Trionychidae. The semen Pruni is seed of Prunus humilis Bunge, Prunus ulmarium, Prunus pedunculata pall, etc. of Rosaceae.
