The invention discloses a weft-knitted single-face stair-structure swimsuit fabric which comprises a fabric body, wherein the fabric body comprises a plain weave layer and a stair layer, the stair layer is arranged on one side of the plain weave layer, the plain weave layer adopts a 7-way 2-needle full-out arrangement mode, the stair layer adopts an 11-way 1-out 1-flat arrangement mode, and the plain weave layer and the stair layer both adopt 70D/48F high-elastic matte regenerated nylon DTY and 20D spandex as lining yarns. The production method of the fabric comprises the steps of knitting the fabric body in a selected circular knitting machine according to a needle arrangement mode, a doffing mode and a yarn feeding amount to obtain the fabric body. The plain layer and the stair layer are both made of 70D/48F high-elastic matte regenerated nylon DTY, so that the fabric body has high elasticity and high network points, and further, the sun-proof performance is good while the low gram weight is kept; the 20D spandex is used as the lining yarn, so that the production stability, high elasticity and high resilience are ensured, and the longitudinal and transverse stretching of the single-face stair layer fabric can reach 100-150%.

The invention has the beneficial effects that: the plain-weave layer and the stair layer are both made of 70D/48F high-elastic matte regenerated nylon DTY, so that the fabric body has high elasticity and high network points, the stair height and the filling power of the double-sided rib-weave stair fabric in the prior art can be achieved, and the sun-proof performance is good while the low gram weight is kept; the 20D spandex is used as the lining yarn, so that the production stability, high elasticity and high resilience are ensured, and the longitudinal and transverse stretching of the single-face stair layer fabric can reach 100-150%. By adopting the arrangement mode that the plain weave layer adopts 7 paths of 2 needles to go out completely and the arrangement mode that the stair layer adopts 11 paths of 1 to go out 1 to be flat, the problems of cloth cover snagging and snagging caused by continuous needles not going out of the stair layer can be thoroughly solved.
