This example is a bentonite-based composite cat litter, which is substantially the same as example 1 except that: as the deodorizing component, 25 parts of calcium superphosphate and 20 parts of straw powder were used.

This example is a bentonite-based composite cat litter, which is substantially the same as example 1 except that: only tea stalk powder is used as the antibacterial component.
Example 11
This example is a bentonite-based composite cat litter, which is substantially the same as example 1 except that: 22 parts of tea stalk powder and 13 parts of horseradish powder are adopted as antibacterial ingredients.
Comparative example 1
This comparative example is a bentonite-based composite cat litter, substantially the same as example 1, except that: porous activated carbon is used to replace the deodorizing component.
Comparative example 2
This comparative example is a bentonite-based composite cat litter, substantially the same as example 1, except that: does not contain anion powder; the cat litter comprises the following raw materials: 60 parts of bentonite powder, 20 parts of deodorization component, 23 parts of antibacterial component and 6 parts of binder.
Comparative example 3
This comparative example is a bentonite-based composite cat litter, substantially the same as example 1, except that: does not contain anion powder; the cat litter comprises the following raw materials: 75 parts of bentonite powder, 20 parts of deodorization component, 8 parts of antibacterial component and 6 parts of binder.
Comparative example 4
This comparative example is a bentonite-based composite cat litter, substantially the same as example 1, except that: contains no antibacterial component; the cat litter comprises the following raw materials: 60 parts of bentonite powder, 20 parts of deodorization component, 23 parts of anion powder and 6 parts of binder.
The litter products obtained in examples 1-11 and comparative examples 1-4 were taken, and ordinary commercially available bentonite litter and the composite litters prepared in examples 1-11 and comparative examples 1-2 of the present invention were placed in litter boxes having dimensions of 540X 400X 220mm, respectively. The formaldehyde, negative oxygen ions, ammonia gas and bacteria content in the ambient air surrounding the cat litter (cat pot range) were tested to understand the adsorption capacity, negative oxygen ion release capacity, deodorizing capacity and antibacterial capacity of each cat litter product.
(1) Adsorption capacity

The cat litter box and the unqualified indoor decoration can cause the air to contain formaldehyde, and a cat pet with sensitive smell sense (20 ten thousand times that of a human) is very sensitive to the formaldehyde, and the existence of the formaldehyde in the air can influence the smell sense and even the health of the cat pet. As can be seen from Table 1, the bentonite-based composite cat litter can release a large amount of negative oxygen ions, and the negative oxygen ions can chemically react with formaldehyde to generate carbon dioxide, so that the effects of efficiently adsorbing and removing formaldehyde are achieved, and the health of cats is favorably maintained.
The negative oxygen ions released by the negative ion powder have excellent formaldehyde adsorption performance, and the straw powder in the deodorization component also has certain adsorption performance on formaldehyde.
(2) Deodorizing ability
The ammonia removal rate of each cat litter product was tested and the test results are shown in table 2.

As can be seen from Table 2, the cat litter product of the invention only chemically reacts with ammonia gas, but not physically reacts with a porous material to simultaneously adsorb ammonia gas, carbon dioxide, formaldehyde and other gases, and can efficiently and selectively degrade ammonia gas in pet excrement of cats.
(3) Negative ion releasing ability
The concentration of negative oxygen ions in ambient air around the cat litter (range of the cat pot) was measured, and the measurement results are shown in table 3.

As can be seen from Table 3, the cat litter product of the invention has excellent anion release capacity and has good purification effect on air around the cat litter box.
(4) Bacteriostatic property
Uniformly grinding all cat litter products into powder with the particle size of 3-5mm, and testing the antibacterial performance. The test results are shown in Table 4.

As can be seen from Table 4, the cat litter product of the invention has excellent bacteriostatic properties, and can effectively inhibit the breeding of bacteria in the cat litter and reduce the spread of germs.

Claims (10)

1. The bentonite-based composite cat litter is characterized in that the deodorizing component comprises at least one of calcium superphosphate, calcium monohydrogen phosphate and straw powder.
2. The bentonite-based composite cat litter according to claim 1, wherein the deodorizing component comprises 10-20 parts by weight of calcium superphosphate, 8-20 parts by weight of calcium monohydrogen phosphate and 8-20 parts by weight of straw powder; the particle size of the deodorization component is between 200 meshes and 800 meshes.
3. The bentonite-based composite cat litter of claim 1, wherein the starting material further comprises a negative ion powder.
4. The bentonite-based composite cat litter of claim 3, wherein the anion powder comprises at least one of tourmaline powder, hexacyclic ring stone powder, titanium dioxide phosphate and fullerene.
5. The bentonite-based composite cat litter according to claim 4, wherein the anion powder comprises 15-25 parts of tourmaline powder, 10-20 parts of hexacyclic ring stone powder, 3-5 parts of titanium dioxide phosphate and 2-5 parts of fullerene;
the particle size of the anion powder is between 1000-1500 meshes.
6. The bentonite-based composite cat litter of claim 1 wherein the raw materials further comprise an antimicrobial component comprising at least one of tea stalk powder, castor powder, and horseradish powder.
7. The bentonite-based composite cat litter according to claim 6, wherein the antibacterial component comprises 10-15 parts by weight of tea stalk powder, 5-15 parts by weight of castor powder and 5-10 parts by weight of horseradish powder;
the grain diameter of the antibacterial component is between 200 meshes and 800 meshes.
8. The bentonite-based composite cat litter according to any one of claims 1-7, wherein the raw materials comprise, in parts by weight: 1-80 parts of bentonite, 1-30 parts of deodorization component, 1-20 parts of anion powder, 1-15 parts of antibacterial component and 1-10 parts of binder.
9. The bentonite-based composite cat litter of claim 8, wherein the binder is food grade guar gum.
10. The method of making the bentonite-based composite litter of any one of claims 1-9 comprising:
drying and grinding the bentonite to the particle size of 200-800 meshes to obtain bentonite powder;
grinding the anion powder to the particle size of 1000-1500 meshes;
grinding the deodorizing component to a particle size of 200 and 800 meshes;
mixing the Pengpeng clay powder, the anion powder, the deodorization component and the antibacterial component uniformly to obtain a composite powder;
and (3) granulating and molding the composite powder, adding a binder in the molding process, and drying the obtained granules to obtain the bentonite-based composite cat litter.
