The traditional Chinese medicine holds that the five zang organs and six fu organs of the human body have corresponding physiological reflecting regions on the soles, more than 60 acupuncture points are arranged on the feet, and 47 physiological reflecting regions of the human body are arranged on the feet. The feet are the starting points of the three yin channels of the feet (spleen channel, liver channel and kidney channel) and the termination points of the three yang channels of the feet (stomach channel, gallbladder channel and bladder channel), so the feet can stimulate the acupuncture points, reflecting areas and meridians of the feet by bathing the feet to treat diseases.

Example 2: clinical curative effect
Selecting 230 patients diagnosed with chronic gastritis accompanied with insomnia in subsidiary hospitals of Shanxi Chinese medicine university from 1 month to 2021 month in 2019, wherein 108 patients are male, and 122 patients are female; the minimum age is 20 years, the maximum age is 75 years, and the average age is 63.87 years; the shortest disease course is 3 months, the longest disease course is 20 years, and the average disease course is 7.9 years.
1) Diagnosis standard of chronic gastritis: the Chinese medicine preparation meets the diagnosis standard of Chinese consensus on chronic gastritis (2017, shanghai):
(1) performing endoscopic diagnosis: according to the pathological changes of mucous membrane under endoscope, it can be divided into two categories of chronic atrophic gastritis and chronic non-atrophic gastritis (i.e. chronic superficial gastritis).
(2) Histopathological diagnosis: mainly, chronic inflammatory cell (mononuclear cell) infiltration is taken as a main component, and lymphocytes and plasma cells are mainly taken as main components.
2) Diagnostic criteria for insomnia:
(1) difficulty in falling asleep: the sleep latency time is prolonged and is longer than 30min;
(2) sleep disturbance: the awakening time is increased and exceeds 30min every night; the actual sleep time is reduced, and is less than 6.5 hours per night; the wake time accounts for more than 10% of the sleep time;
(3) early waking: the sleep wake-up time is 30min earlier than the normal wake-up time of the plain;
