Abstract
本发明提供了一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料及制备方法及应用,该方法以杨木碎屑和脲醛树脂制备含氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料。本发明采用一步法将炭前体杨木和脲醛树脂在氮气保护下进行高温热解,使得氮、氧、硫掺杂剂参与制孔过程,提高了生物质炭的比表面积和孔体积,进而提高了氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的吸附性能。

技术领域
本发明属于环境应用型材料制备技术领域,特别是涉及一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料及制备方法及应用。
背景技术
抗生素引起的水污染对人类和水生生物的危害越来越严重。四环素(Tetracycline,四环素)是一种典型的四苯基结构的广谱抗生素,因其低廉的价格和有效的医疗用途而得到广泛应用,是世界上用量最大的抗生素。而四环素的代谢效率相对较低,大部分通过大小便排泄到环境中。据报道,四环素广泛存在于地表水、地下水和饮用水等水体中。为了减轻四环素造成的污染,需要适当的可扩展的处理技术。近年来的研究表明,生物消化、电化学氧化、膜过滤、氯化、超声空化、吸附等技术都可以处理四环素污染水。其中,吸附法性价比高、操作简单、去除率高、不涉及二次污染等特点尤为突出。与活性炭、炭纳米管等炭基吸附剂相比,生物质热解制得的生物炭因其环保、成本低、结构多样(如多孔结构、芳香结构、丰富的官能团等)而受到广泛关注。
生物炭从化学结构上属于高度芳香化且含有随机堆叠的石墨层,一般用C、H、O、N的元素浓度和H/C和O/C的比率来进行评估,并确定芳香化和熟化的程度。但生物炭的表面化学性质却是非常多样的,其中亲水性、疏水性和酸碱性决定了生物质炭的作用活性,这些性质受生物质原料、热解过程以及生物质炭表面上各种官能团、电荷和π电子的影响。生物炭的结构由高度扭曲的芳香环通过不规则的叠层堆积而成,稳定性强且具有抗分解能力。然而,在炭化过程中还会产生大量的焦油状物质和非晶质炭,堵塞已形成的孔隙结构,造成比表面积大大降低,进而无法满足大容量吸附对于孔隙结构的要求,因此需使用活化介质对生物炭进行活化处理。其次,生物炭具有亲水性低和表面活性位点少等缺点,使其适用性降低,目前O、N、S共掺杂生物炭对四环素吸附的贡献尚不清楚。
发明内容
本发明的主要目的在于,克服现有技术中的不足,提供一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料及制备方法及应用。
本发明提供一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)将杨木木屑粉碎,并过150~250μm,脲醛树脂研磨成粉,备用;
(2)称取杨木碎屑,加入脲醛树脂粉末混合均匀,并置于管式炉中,在氮气保护下,设定升温速度,加热至900℃,保温1h;
(3)取出步骤(2)制得的混合物,冷却至室温,用0.2M盐酸清洗,再用去离子水洗涤至滤液中性,将混合物置于烘箱中80℃烘干,得到氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料。
作为优选,步骤(2)中杨木碎屑和脲醛树脂的质量比为1~9:1。
作为优选,步骤(2)中所述升温速度为10℃/min。
作为优选,步骤(2)中所述氮气的流量为0.6L/min。
本发明还提供一种如前述所述的一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的制备方法所制备的氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料。
本发明还提供一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料在吸附水中四环素的应用。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有的有益效果是:
1、本发明采用一步法将炭前体杨木和脲醛树脂在氮气保护下进行高温热解,使得氮、氧、硫掺杂剂参与制孔过程,提高了生物质炭的比表面积和孔体积,进而提高了氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的吸附性能;
2、本发明工艺简单,流程短,提高了制备效率,对设备要求低,易于实现;
3、本发明的氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料具有丰富的氮氧硫官能团,该炭材料中的氮元素主要以吡啶氮、吡咯氮和石墨氮的形式存在,同时含有一定量的硫官能团和氧官能团,作为氮基团和氢受体有助于提供对四环素的吸附性能,不仅吸附容量高、吸附速率快,且稳定性强,表现出了极大的优势。

具体实施方式
为了理解本发明,下面结合实施例对本发明作进一步说明。
实施例1
本发明提供一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)将杨木木屑粉碎,并过150~250μm,脲醛树脂研磨成粉,备用;
(2)称取13.5g杨木碎屑,加入1.5g脲醛树脂粉末混合均匀,并置于管式炉中,氮气的流量为0.6L/min,设定升温速度为10℃/min,加热至900℃,保温1h;
(3)取出步骤(2)制得的混合物,冷却至室温,用0.2M盐酸清洗,再用去离子水洗涤至滤液中性,将混合物置于烘箱中80℃烘干,得到氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料,标记为PUF-10%。
实施例2
方法同实施例1,区别在于称取10.5g杨木碎屑,4.5g脲醛树脂粉,得到氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料,标记为PUF-30%。

将实施例1-3、对照例1和对照例2得到的生物质炭材料经全自动比表面积及微孔分析仪(BSD-PM4)检测,得到其孔隙结构,结果如表1所示:

由表1可知,生物质炭材料添加10%脲醛树脂或10%尿素时其比表面积随之降低,从477.1m2/g降至431.4m2/g和459.8m2/g,可能是由于氮原子或硫原子引入生物炭框架中,可能会造成微孔塌陷,这也会导致总孔隙体积降低。而当脲醛树脂的掺杂比例升至30%和50%时,比表面积和孔体积都会增大。这可能是由于脲醛对生物炭的成孔效应,因为其热解产物主要是异氰酸盐和NH3等含氮化合物,可在热解过程中作为激活剂从而实现对生物质炭材料进行造孔。
对实施例1-3、对照例1和对照例2得到的生物质炭材料元素分析,结果如表2所示:

由表2可知,随着脲醛树脂掺杂比例的增加,生物质炭材料的碳含量从97.65%下降到83.24%,氧含量从1.09%逐渐增加到5.56%,硫也成功掺杂,其含量分别从0.01%显著增加到4.98%。生物炭炭材料中氮含量也从0.26%大幅提高到4.92%,说明氮被成功掺杂到生物炭中。
对实施例1-3、对照例1和对照例2得到的生物质炭材料通过XPS分析产品表面的元素组成、含氧官能团、含氮官能团和含硫官能团表分析,如表3所示:

由表3可知,在生物质炭材料表面检测到C1s、O1s、N1s和S2p的4个主要峰,C含量随着掺杂比的增加而降低,N、O、S含量随之增加,这与元素分析的规律相符。氮掺杂比例最高的PUF-50%中,N和S原子含量最高,可分别达3.3%和1.3%。C1s、O1s、N1s的峰拟合数据如表3所示,PBC的N1s、PBC和PU-10%的S2p未进行分析,因为其相应的含量低于检测值。生物炭的高分辨率S2p峰可以得到三个氧化硫种的峰(168.5eV,-C-SO4-C-或-C-SO3)以及S2p1/2(165.2eV)和S2p3/2(164.0eV)的共价键。随着掺杂比的增加,氧化S的含量随脲醛比例的增大而增大。这可能是由于较高的掺杂比导致生物炭表面增强了含硫基团和含氧基团之间的反应。生物质炭材料的N1s峰可分为四个峰,对应吡啶N(N-6)、吡咯N(N-5)、石墨N和氮氧化物(N-O)。随着掺杂比的增加,N-5的相对含量显著下降,而N-6、N-Q和N-O的相对含量显著上升。与上所述,这可能是由于由更多的氮掺杂领导的生物炭表面含氮基团和含氧基团之间的反应增强。据报道,引入含氮和含硫官能团可以降低炭层的电负性,从而通过增加接受π电子的能力,进而通过与TC分子进行π-π相互作用和路易斯酸碱作用来提高其吸附能力。
如图2所示,实施例3制得的氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的孔非常密集,其孔隙结构也相当丰富,表面呈现出明显的孔隙结构。
由图3可以看出,该氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的N2吸附-解析等温线图为明显的I型曲线吸附,在相对低压区(P/P0=0~0.1)吸附量陡增,该氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的气体吸附量呈直线性增长并达到一个较高的吸附平台,说明了该氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料中存在大量微孔结构的吸附作用,在相对压力较高的区域(P/P0=0.02~0.99)下该氮氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的气体吸附量仍在增加但增速较缓,且出现明显的滞回环,该滞回环通常由堆积的层状结构产生,说明该氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料存在大量微孔和少量中孔。
由图4可以看出,该无掺杂生物质炭材料的N2吸附-解析等温线图为明显的I型曲线吸附,说明该杨木基生物质炭材料中存在微孔;同时,在相对低压区(P/P0=0~0.1)吸附量陡增,该无掺杂生物质炭材料的气体吸附量呈直线性增长并达到一个较高的吸附平台,说明了该杨木基生物质炭材料中存在大量微孔结构的吸附作用,在相对压力较高的区域(P/P0=0.02~0.99)下该杨木基生物质炭材料的气体吸附量仍在增加但增速较缓,说明该杨木基生物质炭材料仅存在微孔。
实施例5
将实施例1-3、对照例1和对照例2得到的生物质炭材料投加到含有四环素的水溶液中振荡吸附,检验其对四环素的吸附能力,具体包括:
(1)配制四环素溶液:称取四环素样品40mg,加入去离子水定容至1L,配制浓度为40mg/L的四环素溶液;
(2)分别取实施例1-3、对照例1和对照例2得到的生物质炭材料100mg,并分别置于100ml四环素溶液中,27℃下150r/min恒温振荡,混合液经0.22μm滤头过滤,得到滤液,采用紫外分光光度计在360nm下测定滤液中四环素的浓度,进而计算吸附容量Qt(mg/g),以吸附容量Qt(mg/g)为纵坐标绘制图,结果如图5所示。
其中,η去除效率,C0和Ce为四环素(mg/L)的初始浓度和平衡浓度。
吸附能力qe根据以下公式计算:
其中,C0和Ce是四环素(mg/L)的初始浓度和平衡浓度,V是四环素溶液(L)的体积,m是生物炭(g)的重量,以及qe为吸附能力(mg/g)。
由图5可知,氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料的去除效率高于PBC(29.45%),其中PUF-50%的去除效率最高,为71.84%。
基于以上对生物炭样品表征的讨论,吸附性能提高的原因有三个原因:1)BET表面积增加,提供更多的吸附位点;2)O含量增加,提供更多的氧官能团,可以通过氢键与四环素分子相互作用;3)引入氮或官能团,增强π-π相互作用和路易斯酸碱相互作用。而PUF-10%的BET表面积为459.8m2/g,略低于PBC(477.1m2/g),而PUF-10%(31.0%)的去除效率略高于PBC(29.5%)。这说明O、N和/或S的含量较高是吸附效率提高的主要原因。
由图5可以看出,PU-10%的BET表面积和S含量(431m2/g和0.53%),氧、氮含量高(3.99%和2.45%)。但PU-10%(41.7%)的去除效率远高于PUF-10%。这表明,将N和O引入生物炭中,比掺杂硫官能团更重要。
目前已知,吸附发生在生物炭表面,因此有必要分析生物炭表面的元素组成和官能团。从表2中可以看出,PUF-10%的表面O、N、S含量略高于PU-10%,而表面S含量较低。这也意味着与含硫官能团相比,含氧和氮官能团在生物炭的四环素吸附中起着主导作用。然而,这并不能解释PUF-50%比PUF-30%具有更好的吸附性能。因此,我们分析了不同类型的含氮官能团的组成。从表3中可以看出,PUF-30%中N-5和N-6的比例高于PUF-50%,而N-Q和N-O的比例较低。PU-10%的N-Q和N-O含量也高于PUF-10%。这说明在四种含氮的官能团中,N-Q和N-O在氮掺杂生物炭的四环素吸附中起着重要作用,因此PUF-50%的吸附效率高于PUF-30%。考虑到N-Q的结构是合理的,其中N原子位于三个芳香环的中间,导致C层的电负性降低,提高了接受π电子的能力。因此,如前所述,生物炭与四环素分子在吸附过程中的π-π相互作用和Lewis酸碱相互作用,从而提高了吸附能力。而N-O则可以通过氢键增强四环素与生物炭之间的相互作用。本研究表明,该混合掺杂成功地富集了多个O-N、O-S官能团以及N-Q基团,这些都是提高吸附性能的原因。综上,本研究提出利用氮氧硫共掺杂生物质炭材料去除水溶液中的抗生素,为混合掺杂的协同效应提供了新方法,较之前的普通杨木基炭材料其性能优良较大改善。
以上所述,仅是本发明的较佳实施例而已,并非对本发明作任何形式上的限制,虽然本发明已以较佳实施例揭露如上,然而并非用以限定本发明,任何熟悉本专业的技术人员,在不脱离本发明技术方案范围内,当可利用上述揭示的技术内容做出些许更动或修饰为等同变化的等效实施例,但凡是未脱离本发明技术方案的内容,依据本发明的技术实质对以上实施例所作的任何的简单修改、等同变化与修饰,均仍属于本发明技术方案的范围内。
Claims (2)
1.一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料在吸附水中四环素的应用,其他特征在于,氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料采用如下方法制备:
(1)将杨木木屑粉碎,并过150~250μm,脲醛树脂研磨成粉,备用;
(2)称取杨木碎屑,加入脲醛树脂粉末混合均匀,并置于管式炉中,在氮气保护下,设定升温速度,加热至900℃,保温1h;杨木碎屑和脲醛树脂的质量比为1~9:1;升温速度为10℃/min;
(3)取出步骤(2)制得的混合物,冷却至室温,用0.2M盐酸清洗,再用去离子水洗涤至滤液中性,将混合物置于烘箱中80℃烘干,得到氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种氮、氧、硫共掺杂生物质炭材料在吸附水中四环素的应用,其特征在于,步骤(2)中所述氮气的流量为0.6L/min。
