The main clinical symptoms of the tested population are mental fatigue, cold limbs, dizziness, soreness of waist and knees, soreness of bones and muscles, and night sweat. The traditional Chinese medicine judges that the disease is the deficiency of spleen and stomach and the deficiency of kidney qi. The change in physical state of the subject before and after the trial is investigated after the treatment period. The results are shown in Table 1.
Table 1 comparison of two groups of courses (unit: person) before and after administration
The treatment group has better effect than the control group, can improve spleen and stomach weakness, and can prevent or treat kidney qi deficiency. The instant ginseng has obvious effects of strengthening spleen and tonifying kidney.
2. Verification of dryness-reducing effect of product
Animal experiments were performed on 60 rats (Wistar rats) each, which were blank, fresh ginseng (0.104 g/ml), steamed ginseng (0.104 g/ml), chinese medicinal extract (0.169 g/ml), and instant ginseng (0.104 g/ml). The administration was performed by intragastric administration in groups of 10ml/kg body weight, 1 time per day for 2 weeks. The low dryness of the instant ginseng with the effects of strengthening the spleen and tonifying the kidney is verified by taking the anus temperature, the water intake and the 17-hydroxycortisterid content in urine of a rat as evaluation indexes.
2.1 determination of anal temperature:
anal temperature was measured with an anal thermometer before and 1 hour after the last administration. The results are shown in Table 3.
2.2 measurement of the amount of drinking water
Fixing the water supply amount, measuring the residual amount, and obtaining the difference value as the water intake amount. The change in water intake before and after administration was recorded,
and compares the differences between the groups. Urine was collected by self-made metabolic cages before and after administration, and the amount of urine collected was measured with a cartridge for comparison. The results are shown in Table 3.
2.3 determination of 17-Hydroxycorticosteroid content in urine
Rats were harvested twice with a metabolic cage 24 hours each two days prior to the experiment. Finally, urine of each rat is mixed for 2 times, and the content is measured. Urine is detected by using pH test paper, and the pH should be below 2. The stoppered test tubes were numbered according to the order of administration. 0.5ml of urine was pipetted into the test tube in sequence and 0.5ml of distilled water was added to a volume of 1ml. 0.3g of anhydrous sodium sulfate is added in sequence, a plug is added, and 4ml of dealdehydized n-butanol is added after ultrasonic treatment for 2 min. Further sonicating for 10min, centrifuging at 2000rpm for 10min, sucking out supernatant (n-butanol), placing into another small test tube, adding 30mg of activated carbon, shaking, standing for 3min, and removing pigment. Centrifuge at 4000rpm for 10min and aspirate supernatant ready for colorimetry. A plurality of test tubes are selected, and A, B, C, D, E, F is respectively noted according to the table. Wherein A, B tube is a color reagent and tube blank, C tube is a cortisone standard blank, and D tube is a standard tube containing 10 μg cortisone. The above 4 tubes were each filled with 0.8ml of dealdehyded n-butanol, the E tube was a blank tube for the sample, and each was filled with 0.8ml of n-butanol extract of urine, and the compatibility of the reagents is shown in Table 2.
