When the coal gangue sorting machine works, the power supply of the equipment is switched on, the coal gangue to be sorted is conveyed to the conveyor belt 22, the motor 21 drives the first roller shaft 23 to rotate, the first roller shaft 23 drives the conveyor belt 22 to move, the conveyor belt 22 drives the second roller shaft 24 to rotate, the ejector block 41 is pressed by the conveyor belt 22 to extrude the first spring 42 and contract towards the first groove 241, the second roller shaft 24 continuously rotates, when the ejector block 41 is not extruded by the inner side of the conveyor belt 22 any more, the ejector block extends outwards under the action of the elastic force of the first spring 42 and impacts the inner side of the conveyor belt 22, so that the conveyor belt 22 shakes to drive the coal gangue on the conveyor belt 22 to vibrate, at the moment, the coal gangue with small size and relatively small mass falls into a gap between the convex strips 51 under the vibration effect, meanwhile, the fine coal gangue attached to the conveyor belt 22 is shaken to be discharged from the discharge hole 11, and the conveyor belt 22 drives the coal gangue to move leftwards, the coal gangue with the size larger than that of the adjacent convex strips 51 is positioned at the top, the conveyor belt 22 continues to convey, the small coal gangue among the convex strips 51 falls down from the discharge hole 11 under the action of gravity, the large coal gangue is shoveled by the sorting plate 52, and the coal gangue moves leftwards along the sorting plate 52 and is collected under the pushing action of the subsequent coal gangue, so that the effect of sorting the coal gangue is achieved; meanwhile, the top block 41 is pressed by the pressure of the conveyor belt 22 and shrinks towards the first groove 241, the top block 41 drives the piston rod 31 to press the air in the piston cavity 242, the air is sprayed out from the air blowing pipe 36 along the piston cavity 242, the air collecting cavity 32, the first cavity channel 2431, the first cavity 331, the first air duct 34 and the second air duct 35, and under the action of the air flow, the residual fine coal gangue on the sorting plate 52 is blown down onto the conveyor belt 22 due to the small relative mass, and then moves along with the conveyor belt 22 and falls down from the discharge port 11 under the action of gravity, so that the sorting efficiency and the sorting effect are increased.
