Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The dimensions and scale of the components in the drawings are appropriately different from those in the actual structure. The embodiments described below include various limitations that are technically preferable. The scope of the present invention is not limited to the following exemplary embodiments.
[ first embodiment ]
Fig. 1 is a plan view illustrating the structure of a game system 100 according to a first embodiment. The game system 100 is provided in an entertainment facility such as a game center or a commercial facility such as a shopping mall. The gaming system 100 used in a gaming center is also referred to as a gaming machine.
The player is able to play the game played by the gaming system 100 by consuming play value. The entertainment value is an entity-bearing media such as tokens, or an entity-free value of credit or points. The amount of the entity-free play value is stored as data on a recording medium such as an IC card. The player may select any one of the physical play value and the non-physical play value and consume the selected value. Consumption of play value is also said to be an investment in play value.
The play value is given to the player as a benefit (award) according to the result of the game. That is, the acquisition of play value is one of the objectives of the game. The impartation of the amusement value is also said to be the payment of the amusement value. Further, the game value consumed for the game play and the game value given to the player as a benefit according to the result of the game may be the same type or different types. For example, a predetermined amount of credit (i.e., the same kind of play value) may be given to the player as a benefit or a token (i.e., a different kind of play value) as a substantial play value may be given to the player as a benefit according to the result of the game played by the player by the consumption of credit as a non-substantial play value.
As illustrated in fig. 1, the game system 100 of the first embodiment includes a lottery mechanism 10 and a plurality of stations 20. The drawing mechanism 10 is configured to be substantially circular in plan view in the vertical direction and is used for physical drawing using the drawing medium B. In the following description, the circumferential direction of an arbitrary circle having the center axis of the lottery mechanism 10 as its center is referred to as "circumferential direction", and the radial direction of the circle is referred to as "radial direction". The lottery media B is a three-dimensional object such as a sphere. The plurality of stations 20 are arranged in the circumferential direction so as to surround the lottery mechanism 10. The players play the games using the plurality of stations 20, respectively.
The drawing mechanism 10 includes a physical drawing unit 11, a drawing field 12, and an input mechanism 13. The physical drawing member 11 is a disc-shaped structure (turntable) rotatably supported. The physical lottery section 11 of the first embodiment is rotated by a driving mechanism (not shown) such as a motor. Further, the physical lottery drawing unit 11 may not be rotated.
As illustrated in fig. 1, a drawing area Q1 and a display area Q2 are defined on the surface of the physical drawing unit 11. The drawing area Q1 is an annular area concentric with the physical drawing portion 11. The display area Q2 is an annular area surrounding the lottery area Q1. Further, the display area Q2 may be formed inside the drawing area Q1.
N drawing holes H (N is a natural number of two or more) are formed in the drawing area Q1. Specifically, N drawing holes H are formed in the drawing area Q1 at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. In addition, the case where twenty-five (N = 25) drawing holes H are formed is exemplified in the first embodiment. Each lottery hole H is a pocket of a circular shape into which the lottery media B can be entered. A different number is assigned to each of the N drawing holes H. Specifically, consecutive numbers are assigned to the respective drawing holes H in the order of arrangement of the N drawing holes H. However, the relationship between the drawing hole H and the number is changed as appropriate.
Although the configuration of the N drawing holes H is actually common, in the first embodiment, for convenience, the N drawing holes H are distinguished as N1 (N1 is a natural number or more) first drawing holes H1 and N2 (N2 = N-N1) second drawing holes H2. In fig. 1, the first drawing hole H1 and the second drawing hole H2 are illustrated in different patterns for convenience. As illustrated in fig. 1, the N1 first lottery holes H1 are lottery holes H selected at equal intervals every predetermined number from the arrangement of the N lottery holes H. The second drawing hole H2 is a drawing hole H other than the first drawing hole H1 among the N drawing holes H. A predetermined number (e.g., four) of the second lottery holes H2 are located between two first lottery holes H1 that are mutually adjacent in the circumferential direction. Specifically, among the numbers of "1" - "25" assigned to each drawing hole H, a total of five (N1 = 5) drawing holes H corresponding to the respective numbers of "5", "10", "15", "20", and "25" are the first drawing hole H1, and a total of twenty (N2 = 20) drawing holes H other than that are the second drawing hole H2.
As illustrated in fig. 1, the display area Q2 is partitioned into N unit areas U corresponding to different drawing holes H. The unit area U corresponding to any one of the drawing holes H is located radially outward from the drawing hole H. Therefore, N unit regions U are arranged in the circumferential direction. As illustrated in fig. 1, a display portion 112 is provided in each unit area U corresponding to each first lottery hole H1 among the N unit areas U. That is, the display portion 112 is provided in the vicinity of the first lottery hole H1. In fig. 1, for convenience, a dot shade is added to the display section 112. On the other hand, in each unit area U corresponding to each second lottery hole H2 among the N lottery holes H, a flag portion 114 is provided. That is, the flag portion 114 is provided in the vicinity of the second drawing hole H2. The marking portion 114 corresponding to any one of the second drawing holes H2 is a plate-like member whose number assigned to the second drawing hole H2 is indicated by printing or the like. It is noted that the drawing hole H corresponding to the display unit 112 among the plurality of drawing holes H may be expressed as a first drawing hole H1, and the drawing hole H corresponding to the sign unit 114 may be expressed as a second drawing hole H2. As exemplified above, in the first embodiment, N1 display sections 112 corresponding to the first drawing hole H1 and N2 flag sections 114 corresponding to the second drawing hole H2 are provided in the display area Q2. Therefore, compared with the configuration in which the display units 112 are provided for all of the N lottery holes H, there is an advantage in that the manufacturing cost of the game system 100 or the processing load for controlling the respective display units 112 is reduced.
The display unit 112 corresponding to each first drawing hole H1 is configured by a display device that displays various images. Specifically, the display unit 112 is configured to include a direct-view display device in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in a matrix, and can display an arbitrary image and change the image. A flat display panel such as an LED display panel in which a plurality of LEDs (Light Emitting diodes) are arranged in a planar shape, a liquid crystal display panel in which the alignment of liquid crystal is controlled for each pixel, or an organic EL display panel using Light emission of organic EL (ElectroLuminescence) is preferable as the display section 112. The surface of the sign portion 114 and the surface of the display portion 112 are located on substantially the same plane, and there is no difference in height therebetween. Therefore, the lottery medium B can smoothly rotate between the display unit 112 and the sign unit 114 in the display area Q2. That is, the surface of the display portion 112 and the surface of the sign portion 114 constitute a rotation surface on which the lottery medium B rotates.
As understood from the above description, the display unit 112 can display an arbitrary image and can change the image as needed, while the number of the second drawing hole H2 is fixedly indicated in the indicator unit 114. For example, as illustrated in fig. 1, the display portion 112 corresponding to any one of the first lottery holes H1 displays the number assigned to the first lottery hole H1.
Since the N1 first lottery holes H1 are arranged at equal intervals as described above, the N1 display portions 112 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Specifically, five display portions 112 are provided every seventy-two degrees in the circumferential direction. Further, a plurality of (for example, four) sign portions 114 are provided between two display portions 112 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. As described above, in the first embodiment, since the plurality of display units 112 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, there is an advantage that the player can easily recognize each display unit 112 from an arbitrary direction around the game system 100.
The drawing field 12 is an annular plate-like member that surrounds the physical drawing unit 11 when viewed in a plan view in the vertical direction. The surface of the drawing field 12 is an inclined surface that descends from the outer peripheral edge toward the inner peripheral edge (i.e., the physical drawing portion 11 side). The input mechanism 13 is provided in the vicinity of the outer periphery of the lottery field 12, and sequentially inputs the lottery media B on the surface of the lottery field 12. The drawing medium B inserted by the insertion means 13 gradually approaches the physical drawing unit 11 while rotating on the surface of the drawing field 12, and finally enters any one of the N drawing holes H of the physical drawing unit 11. The number corresponding to the drawing hole H into which the drawing media B has entered is the result of drawing. That is, the physical lottery by the lottery mechanism 10 is an operation of randomly selecting any one of the N numbers corresponding to the different lottery holes H. The drawing medium B passes through the display unit 112 and the surface of the marker unit 114 and enters the drawing hole H.
Each of the plurality of stations 20 is a device used by a player to play a game. Specifically, a game using the result of the physical lottery performed by the lottery mechanism 10 is executed for each station 20. As illustrated in fig. 1, each station 20 includes an acceptance portion 21 for use in the investment or payment of the play value. The receiving unit 21 includes a slot into which the tangible play value such as a medal is inserted and a payout slot through which the tangible play value is issued as a discount. However, a read circuit that reads unproductive play value such as credit from a recording medium such as an IC card, and a write circuit that writes unproductive play value into the recording medium may be used as the receiving unit 21.
As illustrated in fig. 1, each of the plurality of stations 20 includes a display device 22 and an operation device 23. The display device 22 displays various images. As the display device 22, a flat display panel such as a liquid crystal display panel or an organic EL display panel is preferably used. For example, a screen showing a result of a physical lottery performed by the lottery mechanism 10 is displayed on the display device 22. The operation device 23 accepts an operation by the player. The operation device 23 of the first embodiment is a touch panel that is integrally configured with the display surface of the display device 22 and detects a contact by a player. However, an operation member operated by the player may be used as the operation device 23.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram illustrating a functional structure of the game system 100 according to the first embodiment. As illustrated in fig. 2, the game system 100 of the first embodiment includes a management system 30. Each of the plurality of stations 20 is connected to a management system 30.
The management system 30 is a computer system including a control device 31 and a storage device 32. The control device 31 is configured by a Processing circuit such as a CPU (Central Processing Unit), and collectively controls the entire game system 100 including the lottery mechanism 10 and each station 20. The storage device 32 stores programs executed by the control device 31 and various data used by the control device 31. For example, image data representing an image displayed on the display unit 112 is stored in the storage device 32. Conventional recording media such as semiconductor recording media and magnetic recording media, or a combination of a plurality of types of recording media are arbitrarily used as the storage device 32.
The control device 31 of the first embodiment functions as the game control unit 311 and the display control unit 312 by executing the program stored in the storage device 32. Further, a part or all of the functions of the control device 31 may be installed in each station 20.
The game control unit 311 controls the game using the lottery mechanism 10. The game system 100 of the first embodiment operates in any one of a plurality of game modes. The game control unit 311 controls the game in accordance with any one of the plurality of game modes. The display control unit 312 causes the display units 112 to display images. Specifically, the display control unit 312 outputs image data representing an image to the display unit 112 to display the image. The display control unit 312 according to the first embodiment switches the image (still image or moving image) displayed on the display unit 112 according to the current game mode.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the transition of the game mode. As illustrated in fig. 3, the game modes of the first embodiment include a normal game mode, a power lottery game mode, an intermediate game mode, a first special game mode, and a second special game mode. The first special game mode and the second special game mode are game modes in which the player challenges for obtaining a large amount of play value (so-called top prizes). The middle play mode is a play mode for switching to the first special play mode or the second special play mode. The magnification lottery game mode determines the magnification D by means of lottery. The multiplier D is a numerical value for determining the amount of play value to be given to the player at the time of winning in the first special game mode. The general game mode is a game mode in which a player obtains play value and a predetermined item (item) (hereinafter, referred to as a "conversion item"). The conversion into the multiplier lottery game mode and the intermediate game mode is performed by obtaining a predetermined number of conversion items in the normal game mode.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating specific steps of a process performed by the control device 31 according to the first embodiment. The operation of the control device 31 will be described with attention paid to the content of the game executed in each game mode and the image displayed on each display unit 112.
< ordinary Game mode >
When the processing of fig. 4 is started, the game control unit 311 selects the normal game mode (S1). In the normal play mode, a normal game is executed in each of the plurality of stations 20. Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram of a screen displayed on the display device 22 of each station 20 during execution of a normal game. As illustrated in fig. 5, the general game of the first embodiment is a game that is played in accordance with the drawing holes H into which the drawing media B sequentially inserted into the drawing field 12 have entered. The game control unit 311 advances the normal game in accordance with the number corresponding to the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered, among the N drawing holes H.
Specifically, the game control unit 311 causes the display device 22 to display the game cards Ca of fig. 5 in which N numbers are arranged in a matrix of five rows in the vertical direction × five columns in the horizontal direction, and causes the insertion mechanism 13 to sequentially insert the plurality of lottery media B. The game control unit 311 changes the number of the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered, from among the N drawing holes H, to a valid state. Then, the game control unit 311 determines that a winning is established when all numbers in any one column (for example, a vertical column, a horizontal column, or an oblique column) of the game cards Ca are changed to the enabled state. The game control unit 311 gives a predetermined amount of play value as a benefit to the player at the station 20 for which the winning is established. The game control unit 311 assigns a conversion item to the player in accordance with a column in which a winning is found among the plurality of columns of the game pieces Ca. For example, when a winning is established for a column that has been selected in advance among the plurality of columns, or when the total number of columns for which a winning is established has reached a predetermined value, the conversion item is given to the player.
Fig. 6 is a plan view of the physical lottery drawing portion 11 in the normal game mode. As illustrated in fig. 6, in the normal game mode, the display control unit 312 causes the display unit 112 of the first lottery hole H1 to display an image corresponding to the number assigned to each first lottery hole H1. Specifically, the number assigned to the first lottery hole H1 is displayed on the display portion 112. Accordingly, N numbers corresponding to the respective drawing holes H are displayed in the display area Q2 by the N1 display portions 112 and the N2 flag portions 114. As described above, in the normal game mode, the player can visually and intuitively grasp the numbers corresponding to the respective first lottery holes H1.
When a predetermined switching condition is satisfied in the normal game mode (S2: yes), the game control unit 311 switches the game mode from the normal game mode to the multiplier lottery game mode (S3). For example, when the number of conversion items given to the player in the normal game reaches a predetermined value in one or more stations 20, the game mode in this station (hereinafter referred to as "conversion station") 20 is converted from the normal game mode to the multiplier lottery game mode. On the other hand, when the transition condition is not satisfied at any of the stations 20 (S2: no), the game mode is maintained in the normal game mode and the normal game is repeated (S1).
< Rate drawing Game mode >
In the multiplier lottery game mode, a multiplier lottery game is executed in the conversion station 20. The multiplier lottery game is a game in which the aforementioned multiplier D is determined by means of lottery. Specifically, the game control unit 311 sets the magnification D for each drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered, among the N drawing holes H. The magnification lottery game mode is an example of the "second game mode".
Fig. 7 is a plan view of the physical lottery section 11 in the magnification lottery game mode. As illustrated in fig. 7, in the magnification lottery game mode, when the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1, the display control unit 312 causes the display unit 112 to display an image corresponding to the set magnification D in the first lottery hole H1. Specifically, a plurality of candidate values "x 2", "× 3", "× 5", "× 10" relating to the magnification D are displayed on the respective display sections 112. The display control unit 312 of the first embodiment causes the special image Ga to be displayed on one of the N1 display units 112. The special image Ga is an image indicating permission of transition to the second special game mode. As understood from the above description, there is an advantage in the multiplier lottery game mode that the player can visually and intuitively grasp the set multiplier D in the case where the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1.
In the magnification lottery game mode, the game control unit 311 causes the input means 13 to input one lottery medium B. When the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1 to which the candidate value of the magnification D is assigned among the N lottery holes H, the game control section 311 sets the candidate value assigned to this first lottery hole H1 as the magnification D. For example, in a case where the lottery media B has entered the first lottery hole H1 corresponding to the display section 112 displaying "× 5", the magnification D is set to "× 5". When the lottery medium B has entered the second lottery hole H2 among the N lottery holes H, the game control section 311 sets the magnification D to a common value "× 1" in the N2 second lottery holes H2. On the other hand, in the case where the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1 corresponding to the display section 112 displaying the special image Ga, the game control section 311 permits the transition to the second special game mode. For example, a Flag (Flag) indicating whether or not the transition to the second special game mode is permitted is set to "1".
< intermediate Game mode >
When the multiplier lottery game is ended, the game control unit 311 shifts from the multiplier lottery game mode to the intermediate game mode (S4). In the intermediate game mode, an intermediate game is executed in the conversion station 20. The intermediate game is a game in which permission or non-permission of conversion to the first special game or the second special game is determined by lottery. Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of a screen displayed on the display device 22 of the switching station 20 during execution of the intermediate game. As illustrated in fig. 8, the intermediate game is a game that is played in accordance with the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B sequentially inserted into the drawing field 12 has entered. The game control unit 311 advances the intermediate game in accordance with the number corresponding to the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered, among the N drawing holes H.
Specifically, the game control unit 311 causes the display device 22 to display the game pieces Cb of fig. 8 in which some (for example, nine) of the N numbers are arranged in a matrix of three vertical rows × three horizontal rows, and causes the insertion mechanism 13 to sequentially insert the plurality of lottery media B. The game control unit 311 changes the number of the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered, from among the N drawing holes H, to the valid state, and determines that a winning is established when all the numbers in any one column (for example, a vertical column, a horizontal column, or an oblique column) of the game pieces Cb are changed to the valid state.
In the intermediate game mode, the display control unit 312 causes the display unit 112 of the first lottery hole H1 to display an image corresponding to the number assigned to each first lottery hole H1, in the same manner as in the normal game mode illustrated in fig. 6. That is, N numbers corresponding to the respective drawing holes H are displayed in the display area Q2 by the N1 display portions 112 and the N2 flag portions 114. Therefore, in the middle game mode, the player can visually and intuitively grasp the numbers corresponding to the respective first drawing holes H1.
If winning is not established in the intermediate game (S5: no), the game control unit 311 shifts the game mode from the intermediate game mode to the normal game mode. That is, the transition to the first special game mode or the second special game mode is not permitted. On the other hand, when a winning is established in the intermediary game (yes in S5), the game control unit 311 determines whether or not the conversion to the second special game mode is permitted in the magnification lottery game (S6). That is, in the magnification lottery game, it is determined whether or not the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1 of the display section 112 corresponding to the particular image Ga being displayed.
< first Special Game mode >
When the transition to the second special game mode is not permitted (S6: no), the game control unit 311 transitions the game mode from the intermediate game mode to the first special game mode (S7). The first special game is executed in the first special game mode. The first special game is a lottery game in which lottery media B in a number exceeding the total number N of the lottery holes H are sequentially lottery-played in the lottery field 12, and whether or not a prize is won is determined according to whether or not the lottery media B has entered all of the N lottery holes H. That is, the game control unit 311 causes the lottery media B of more than N numbers (for example, seventy) to be sequentially inserted by the inserting means 13. The game control unit 311 determines that a winning is established when the drawing medium B has entered all of the N drawing holes H, and determines that a winning is not established when there is a drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has not entered.
In the first special game mode, the display control unit 312 causes the display unit 112 to display images corresponding to the numbers assigned to the respective first drawing holes H1 on the first drawing holes H1 in the same manner as in the normal game mode illustrated in fig. 6. That is, N numbers corresponding to the respective drawing holes H are displayed in the display area Q2 by the N1 display portions 112 and the N2 flag portions 114. Therefore, in the first special game mode, the player can visually and intuitively grasp the numbers corresponding to the respective first lottery holes H1.
When the first special game is ended, the game control section 311 determines whether or not a winning is established (S8). When a win is established in the first special game (yes in S8), the game control unit 311 gives the player the play value corresponding to the number of magnifications D set in the magnification lottery game mode as a benefit (S9). Specifically, the play value of the number of multiplying the multiplier D by a predetermined reference value is given to the player. If a winning is not established in the first special game (S8: NO), the game value is not given. When the above processing is executed, the game control unit 311 shifts the game mode from the first special game mode to the normal game mode.
As understood from the above description, the normal game mode, the intermediate game mode, and the first special game mode are collectively expressed as a game mode (an example of the first game mode) in which the game is played in accordance with the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered, among the N drawing holes H.
< second Special Game mode >
If the conversion to the second special game mode is permitted in the multiplier lottery game (S6: yes), the game control unit 311 converts the game mode from the intermediate game mode to the second special game mode (S10). The second special game is executed in the second special game mode. The second special game is a lottery game in which a prize/non-prize in the game is determined according to the lottery hole H into which the lottery media B has entered among the N lottery holes H. When the second special game mode ends, the game control unit 311 shifts the game mode to the normal game mode. The second special game mode is an illustration of the "third game mode".
Fig. 9 is a plan view of the physical lottery drawing part 11 in the second special game mode. As illustrated in fig. 9, in the second special game mode, the display control section 312 causes the display section 112 to display an image corresponding to winning/losing in the case where the lottery media B has entered each of the first lottery holes H1. Specifically, the winning image Gb indicating a winning is displayed on each display section 112. That is, a prize is won when the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1, and won when the lottery medium B has entered the second lottery hole H2. As understood from the above description, in the second special game mode, there is an advantage that the player can visually and intuitively grasp winning/losing in the case where the lottery media B has entered each of the lottery holes H.
Fig. 10 is a flowchart illustrating specific steps of the second special game executed by the control device 31 (the game control unit 311 and the display control unit 312) in the second special game mode. As illustrated in fig. 10, the game control unit 311 sets the number M of lottery media B (hereinafter referred to as "throw-in number") as an initial value M0, and sets the number P of game values to be added to the player (hereinafter referred to as "add-on number") as an initial value P0 (S101). The initial value M0 of the number M of shots is, for example, the number N1 of first lottery holes H1. The initial value P0 of the assigned number P is, for example, 0.
As illustrated in fig. 9, the display control section 312 displays the winning image Gb on the N1 display sections 112 corresponding to the first lottery hole H1 (S102). That is, the number K of lottery holes H (hereinafter referred to as "winning holes") which are determined to be winning by the entry of the lottery medium B is initialized to N1. As understood from the above description, all of the N1 first lottery holes H1 are set as the winning holes H in the immediately subsequent stage of starting the second special game.
The game control unit 311 drops M lottery media B by the drop mechanism 13 (S103), and determines whether or not the lottery media B has entered one or more winning holes H among the K winning holes H (S104). That is, a prize winning/losing in the game is determined in accordance with the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered. The process of one time of the second special game (hereinafter referred to as "unit process") by the insertion of the M lottery media B (S103) and the determination of winning/losing (S104) is configured. When the lottery medium B does not enter any of the K winning holes H (S104: no), the game control unit 311 gives the player the play value corresponding to the current payout number P (S105), and then ends the second special game.
On the other hand, when the lottery medium B enters any one of the K winning holes H (YES in S104), the game control section 311 determines whether or not the unit processing has been repeated N1 times (S106). The repeated unit processing to N1 times means unit processing in which a continuous win is established to N1 times.
When the number of times of execution of the unit process is less than N1 (S106: no), the display control unit 312 changes the winning image Gb displayed on the display unit 112 of one first lottery hole H1 selected from the K lottery holes H to a number corresponding to the first lottery hole H1 (S107). The first lottery hole H1 whose display of the display unit 112 is changed to a number is determined not to win when the lottery medium B enters, similarly to the second lottery hole H2. That is, the number K of winning holes H decreases for each winning in a unit process. The game control unit 311 decreases the number M of drawing media B by one (S108), and increases the number P of awards of play (S109).
When the above processing is executed, the game control section 311 shifts the processing to step S103. That is, the number of drops M of the lottery media B and the number K of winning holes H sequentially decrease for each unit processing. Therefore, the probability of winning being established in the unit process decreases stepwise for each unit process. When the unit is repeated N1 times (S106: YES), the game control unit 311 gives the player the play value corresponding to the current payout number P (S105), and the second special game is ended.
Fig. 11 is a graph illustrating a relationship between the number M of drops and the number of winning holes H of the lottery medium B in each unit process and the payout number P of the play value when the second special game is ended without winning in the unit process immediately following the unit process. In fig. 11, the initial value M0 of the number M of drops of the lottery media B is set to the number "5" of the first lottery holes H1, and it is assumed that the unit processing is repeated up to five times (N1 = 5). As understood from fig. 11, as the number of times of the unit processing increases, the number of the betting numbers M and the number of the winning holes H of the lottery media B decreases, and the probability of winning decreases, while the number of awards P of the play value increases. Therefore, a game with high interest can be provided.
As described above, in the first embodiment, images in accordance with the game mode are displayed by the display section 112 provided in the vicinity of each first lottery hole H1. Therefore, compared with the structure of patent document 1 in which the projection unit above the game area unit irradiates light to the surface of the game area unit to project the game screen, the structural limitation of the game system 100 can be reduced. For example, a mechanism for other games or a structure for performing and designing may be provided in the space above the physical lottery member 11.
The normal play mode, the intermediate play mode, and the first special play mode are play modes in which the display units 112 display images of the same type as the images displayed on the marker units 114. That is, each display unit 112 displays the number of the drawing hole H together with the sign unit 114. On the other hand, the magnification lottery game mode and the second special game mode are game modes in which the display units 112 display images of different types from the image displayed on the marker unit 114. That is, each display section 112 displays an image of an element (for example, winning/losing) other than the number of each drawing hole H. As understood from the above description, the plurality of game modes of the first embodiment include a game mode in which the display portion 112 displays an image corresponding to the number of the first lottery hole H1, and a game mode in which the display portion 112 displays an image corresponding to an element other than the number. With the above configuration, there is an advantage that various game modes can be realized.
[ second embodiment ]
The second embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the following examples, the same elements as those in the first embodiment in terms of functions are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment, and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted as appropriate.
Fig. 12 is a plan view of the physical lottery section 11 in the normal game mode of the second embodiment. As illustrated in fig. 12, the display control unit 312 according to the second embodiment displays an image corresponding to the given benefit on the display unit 112 when the lottery medium B has entered each of the first lottery holes H1 in the normal game mode. Specifically, a benefit image Gc (specifically, a star-shaped image) indicating the addition of a benefit is displayed on each display unit 112. The display control unit 312 according to the second embodiment causes the display unit 112 of the first lottery hole H1 to display the number assigned to each first lottery hole H1 together with the coupon image Gc. The normal game mode of the second embodiment is an example of the "fourth game mode".
In the normal game, the game control unit 311 gives the player the aforementioned conversion item as an offer when the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1 among the N lottery holes H. That is, the preference image Gc is an image indicating assignment of a conversion item. The contents of the offers indicated by the offer image Gc are not limited to the above examples. For example, a predetermined amount of play value may be given to the player as a benefit.
In the second embodiment, the same effects as those of the first embodiment are also achieved. In the second embodiment, the preferential image Gc corresponding to the preferential given to the player in the normal game mode is displayed on the display unit 112. Therefore, in the case where the lottery media B has entered the first lottery hole H1, there is an advantage that the player can visually and intuitively grasp that the benefit is given. In fig. 12, the coupon image Gc is displayed on all of the N1 display units 112 corresponding to the first drawing hole H1, but the coupon image Gc may be displayed on a display unit 112 limited to a part of the N1 display units 112.
[ modification ]
The respective forms illustrated above can be variously modified. In the following, specific modifications that can be applied to the above-described respective modes are exemplified. Two or more aspects arbitrarily selected from the following examples may be combined with each other within a range not inconsistent with each other.
(1) The image displayed on the display unit 112 is not limited to the above-described examples. For example, images exemplified below may be displayed on the respective display units 112.
[A] In the above-described normal game mode of each type, the numbers assigned to the first drawing holes H1 are displayed on the display unit 112 in a row of N drawing holes H, but the numbers displayed on the display units 112 may be appropriately changed as illustrated in fig. 13. That is, it is not always necessary that the numbers of the respective drawing holes H are continuous in the circumferential direction in the display area Q2.
[B] As illustrated in fig. 14, a plurality of numbers may be displayed on each display unit 112. For example, in the case where the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1 in the normal game mode, the game control section 311 specifies a plurality of numbers displayed on the display section 112 of this first lottery hole H1 as the result of lottery. That is, a plurality of numbers are determined by drawing using one drawing medium B.
[C] As illustrated in fig. 15, images for performance may be displayed on the display units 112. For example, in a game mode in which a period in which the player waits for the input of a play value or a period in which the operation of a performance related to a winning or the like is performed, images for the performance are displayed on the display units 112. Fig. 15 illustrates an example in which images of various characters such as animals are displayed on the display unit 112 in a specific game mode. The display unit 112 may display images of characters owned by the players.
Further, the game mode illustrated in fig. 15 is a game mode in which the amount of play value given to the player does not change. On the other hand, the normal game mode, the multiplier lottery game mode, the intermediate game mode, the first special game mode, and the second special game mode are collectively expressed as game modes in which the number of play values given to the player as the lottery holes H into which the lottery medium B has entered among the N lottery holes H is changed. As understood from the above description, the plurality of game modes in the respective aforementioned forms include two or more game modes in which the number of play values given to the player is changed according to the drawing hole H into which the drawing medium B has entered among the N drawing holes H.
[D] As illustrated in fig. 16, an image of a game machine configured by a plurality of reels may be displayed on the display unit 112 in a specific game mode. In each of the plurality of reels, a plurality of symbols are arranged along a circumferential direction. When the rotation of each reel is stopped at a specific time point and the common symbols are arranged in a straight line in a state where each reel is stopped, a predetermined amount of play value is given to the player. Specifically, it is preferable that the rotation of each reel displayed on each display section 112 is stopped at the point in time when the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1 corresponding to this display section 112.
[E] Although fig. 16 illustrates a case where a plurality of reels are displayed on one display unit 112, one reel of the game machine may be displayed on the display unit 112 in a specific game mode. A plurality of symbols are arranged along the circumferential direction on the reel displayed on the display unit 112. The rotation of the reel displayed on the display portion 112 is stopped, for example, at a point in time when the lottery medium B has entered the first lottery hole H1 corresponding to the display portion 112. An advantage (e.g., a predetermined amount of play value) according to the type of symbol being displayed at the stop of the spin is given to the player. It is also assumed that the player is given a preference in accordance with a combination of symbols displayed at the time when the reels of the plurality of display units 112 have stopped. For example, when the symbol at the time of stopping is common, the plurality of display units 112 are given a preference. In the configuration in which a plurality of numerals are arranged on the reel displayed on the display unit 112, the numerals displayed on the reel at the time of stopping are determined as the numbers of the first lottery holes H1 corresponding to the display unit 112.
[F] In addition to the numbers exemplified in the above embodiments, various symbols such as characters, symbols, colors, patterns, and patterns may be displayed on the display portion 112. Further, the images displayed on the respective display units 112 may be changed with time. For example, each time the lottery medium B enters the first lottery hole H1 in the normal game, the image displayed on the display unit 112 corresponding to the first lottery hole H1 may be changed.
(2) In each of the above-described embodiments, the display section 112 is provided for N1 first drawing holes H1 which are a part of the N drawing holes H, and the flag section 114 is provided for each second drawing hole H2, but the display section 112 may be provided for all of the N drawing holes H. Specifically, N display portions 112 are provided in the circumferential direction on the entire circumference of the annular display region Q2. In the configuration in which the display unit 112 is provided for all of the N drawing holes H, the achievement number in the game executed by one or more stations 20 may be highlighted among the N numbers displayed on each display unit 112. For example, a game is assumed in which a winning is established when a combination of a predetermined number of numbers selected by a physical lottery is a predetermined combination. When a winning is established when a further number is selected, the number is an achievement number.
The display section 112 may be provided for one drawing hole H among the N drawing holes H, and the marker section 114 may be provided for each of the remaining (N-1) drawing holes H. The sign section 114 may be provided for one drawing hole H among the N drawing holes H, and the display section 112 may be provided for each of the remaining (N-1) drawing holes H.
(3) Although the display portion 112 is provided for each first hole H1 in each of the above-described modes, for example, in the above-described configuration in which the display portion 112 is provided for all of the N holes H, the display portion 112 may be integrally formed for each hole H among the plurality of holes H. In the above-described respective patterns, the flag portion 114 is provided for each second drawing hole H2, but the display portion 112 for each second drawing hole H2 may be integrally formed in the plurality of second drawing holes H2. As understood from the above description, the display section 112 or the marker section 114 corresponding to each drawing hole H is mechanically integrated/independent.
(4) Although the above-described embodiments illustrate a configuration in which any one of N numbers is determined by drawing, the elements (drawing elements) determined by drawing are not limited to numbers. For example, various symbols such as characters, symbols, colors, patterns, and patterns may be determined from a plurality of candidates by drawing a lottery as a lottery element. As understood from the above description, a typical example of the lottery by the lottery mechanism 10 is collectively expressed as a process of determining any one of the plural lottery elements.
(5) Although the game system 100 configured as a single device (game device) is illustrated in each of the above-described aspects, the game system 100 may be configured by a plurality of devices that are formed separately from one another. A part of the functions of the game system 100 may be realized by a server device that can communicate with the game system 100.
(6) In each of the above embodiments, the game control unit 311 switches the game mode and the display control unit 312 switches the image displayed on the display unit 112 for each game mode, but the switching of the game mode is omitted. Therefore, it is not necessary to switch the configuration of the image displayed on the display unit 112 every game mode. For example, the image displayed on the display unit 112 may be switched regardless of the game mode.
(7) The functions of the management system 30 in the above-described various aspects are realized by the cooperation of the processing circuit of the control device 31 and the program, as described above. The program according to the above-described aspects is provided in a form stored on a computer-readable recording medium, and can be installed on a computer. The recording medium is, for example, a non-transitory (non-transitory) recording medium, and although an optical recording medium (optical disc) such as a CD-ROM is a preferable example, a conventional arbitrary type of recording medium such as a semiconductor recording medium or a magnetic recording medium is also included. The non-transitory recording medium is any recording medium including a temporary propagation signal (transient signal), and a volatile recording medium is not excluded. The program may be provided to the computer in the form of transmission via a communication network.
[ notes ]
From the above description, for example, the following preferred embodiments of the present invention will be understood. In order to make the respective aspects easily understandable, the drawings are also indicated in parentheses for convenience, but the present invention is not limited to the illustrated aspects.
[ Note 1]
According to a preferred aspect of the present invention (note 1), a game system (100) includes: a physical lottery unit (11) in which a plurality of lottery holes (H) into which a lottery medium (B) enters are formed; a display unit (112) which is provided in the vicinity of one or more first lottery holes (H1) among the plurality of lottery holes (H) and displays an image; a game control unit (311) that controls a game in accordance with any one of a plurality of game modes; and a display control unit (312) that switches the image displayed on the display unit (112) according to which of the plurality of game modes the current game mode is. According to the above aspect, since the image displayed on the display unit (112) is switched according to the game mode, various interests can be provided to the player in comparison with a configuration in which the display in the vicinity of the first lottery hole (H1) is fixed. Further, an image according to the game mode is displayed by a display unit (112) provided in the vicinity of the first drawing hole (H1). Therefore, compared with the structure that the image of the physical lottery drawing part (11) is displayed by the display part arranged above the physical lottery drawing part (11), the structural limitation of the game system (100) can be lightened. For example, a mechanism for other games or a structure for performing and designing may be provided in the space above the physical lottery section (11).
The phrase "vicinity" means that the display unit (112) and the first drawing hole (H1) are close to each other to such an extent that a player can visually recognize the correspondence between the display unit (112) and the first drawing hole (H1) (that is, to such an extent that the player can visually recognize the first drawing hole (H1) corresponding to the display unit (112) from among the plurality of drawing holes (H)).
The "drawing hole (H)" includes both a through hole through which the drawing medium (B) can pass and a bottomed hole through which the drawing medium (B) cannot pass. Further, a hole having a mechanism for shifting from one of a state in which the drawing medium (B) can pass and a state in which the drawing medium (B) cannot pass to the other is also included in the concept of "drawing hole (H)".
A typical example of the "game mode" is an actuation mode, which includes a unit of determination of an outcome related to the fact and phenomenon (e.g., drawing of winning/losing, or drawing of magnification) corresponding to this game mode. However, the "game mode" is not limited to the above example. For example, an operation mode for performance (i.e., an operation mode in which, for example, determination of a lottery result is not premised) may be included in the "plural game modes".
The "first drawing hole (H1)" is one or more drawing holes (H) among the plurality of drawing holes (H). If the display unit (112) is provided in the vicinity of the first drawing hole (H1) of at least one of the plurality of drawing holes (H), the presence or absence of the display unit (112) in the other drawing hole (H) is not determined. That is, the display unit (112) may be provided corresponding to all of the drawing holes (H) of the physical drawing unit (11), or may be provided corresponding to some of the drawing holes (H).
[ Note 2]
In a preferred aspect of note 1 (note 2), in a first game mode among the plurality of game modes: the game control section (311) causes the game to progress in accordance with a drawing element corresponding to a drawing hole (H) into which the drawing medium (B) has entered, among the plurality of drawing holes (H); the display control unit (312) causes the display unit (112) to display an image corresponding to a lottery element corresponding to one of the one or more first lottery holes (H1), and the display unit (112) is a display unit corresponding to the one first lottery hole. In the above aspect, the player can visually and intuitively grasp the lottery element corresponding to the first lottery hole (H1) in the first game mode.
The "lottery element" is an element selected by a lottery performed by the physical lottery section (11), and is typically a number. However, any element such as a symbol or a pattern is included in the lottery element. Also, "an image corresponding to a lottery element" is an image that a player can recognize the lottery element. For example, in addition to an image directly representing a lottery element, an image that does not directly represent the lottery element itself but corresponds to the lottery element (that is, an image indirectly representing the lottery element) is also included in the "image corresponding to the lottery element".
[ Note 3]
In a preferred aspect (note 3) of note 1 or note 2, in a second game mode among the plurality of game modes: the game control unit (311) sets a multiplier (D) for determining the amount of play value to be given to the player, in accordance with a drawing hole (H) into which the drawing medium (B) has entered, among the plurality of drawing holes (H); the display control unit (312) causes the display unit (112) to display an image corresponding to a set magnification (D) that is set when the lottery medium (B) has entered one first lottery hole (H1) among the one or more first lottery holes (H1), and the display unit (112) is a display unit corresponding to the one first lottery hole. In the above aspect, there is an advantage that, in the second game mode, the player can visually and intuitively grasp the magnification (D) set when the lottery medium (B) has entered the first lottery hole (H1).
"play value" is a value that becomes a target to be achieved in a game using the game system (100), and includes, for example, a tangible medium of value (token) or an intangible play value (credit value).
"an image corresponding to the magnification (D)" is an image that the player can recognize this magnification (D). For example, in addition to an image in which the magnification (D) is directly expressed as a numerical value, an image that does not directly express the magnification (D) itself but corresponds to the magnification (D) (that is, an image that indirectly expresses the magnification (D)) is also included in the "image corresponding to the magnification (D)".
[ Note 4]
In a preferred aspect (note 4) of any one of the notes 1 to 3, in a third game mode among the plurality of game modes: the game control unit (311) determines winning/losing in the game in accordance with the drawing hole (H) into which the drawing medium (B) has entered among the plurality of drawing holes (H); the display control unit (312) displays an image corresponding to a win/loss, which is a win/loss in a case where the lottery medium (B) has entered one first lottery hole among the one or more first lottery holes (H1), on the display unit (112), and the display unit (112) is a display unit corresponding to the one first lottery hole. In the above aspect, there is an advantage that, in the third game mode, the player can visually and intuitively grasp winning/losing in the case where the lottery medium (B) has entered the first lottery hole (H1).
The "image corresponding to winning/losing prize" is an image in which the player can recognize winning/losing prize. For example, in addition to an image (e.g., text) directly indicating a winning/losing prize, an image that does not directly indicate the winning/losing prize itself but corresponds to the winning/losing prize (i.e., an image indirectly indicating the winning/losing prize) is also included in the "image corresponding to the winning/losing prize".
[ Note 5]
In a preferred aspect (note 5) of any one of the notes 1 to 4, in a fourth game mode among the plurality of game modes: the game control unit (311) gives a player an offer in accordance with a lottery hole (H) into which the lottery medium (B) has entered among the plurality of lottery holes (H); the display control unit (312) causes the display unit (112) to display an image corresponding to an offer given when the lottery medium (B) has entered one first lottery hole among the one or more first lottery holes (H1), and the display unit (112) is a display unit corresponding to the one first lottery hole. In the above aspect, an image corresponding to the given benefit is displayed on the display unit (112) in the fourth game mode. Therefore, there is an advantage that the player can visually and intuitively grasp that the benefit is given when the lottery media (B) enters the lottery hole (H).
An "offer" is a benefit to a player associated with a game, including, for example, play value, an item used within the game, or a right to play a particular game. Also, "an image corresponding to an offer" is an image that the player can recognize the offer. For example, in addition to an image directly representing a benefit, an image that does not directly represent the benefit itself but corresponds to the benefit (that is, an image indirectly representing a benefit) is also included in the "image corresponding to a benefit".
[ Note 6 and Note 7]
In a preferred aspect of note 1 (note 6), the plurality of game modes include two or more game modes; in each of the two or more game modes, the number of amusement values given to the player is changed in accordance with the lottery hole (H) into which the lottery medium (B) has entered among the plurality of lottery holes (H). In another aspect (note 7) of note 1, the plurality of game modes include: a game mode in which the amount of play value given to the player is changed in accordance with a lottery hole (H) into which the lottery medium (B) has entered among the plurality of lottery holes (H); and a game mode in which the amount of play value given to the player does not change.
[ Note 8]
In a preferred aspect (note 8) of any one of notes 1 to 7, the plurality of lottery holes (H) includes a plurality of first lottery holes (H1) and a plurality of second lottery holes (H2); the display portion (112) is provided corresponding to each of the plurality of first lottery holes (H1); a sign section (114) is provided in the vicinity of each of the plurality of second lottery holes (H2), wherein the sign section (114) indicates a lottery element corresponding to this second lottery hole (H2). According to the above aspect, a display unit (112) is provided for each of the plurality of first lottery holes (H1), and a marker unit (114) for indicating the lottery elements corresponding to the second lottery holes (H2) is provided in the vicinity of each of the plurality of second lottery holes (H2) different from the first lottery holes (H1). Therefore, compared with a configuration in which the display unit (112) is provided for all of the plurality of drawing holes (H), the manufacturing cost of the game system (100) and the processing load for controlling each display unit (112) are reduced.
[ Note 9]
In a preferred aspect of note 8 (note 9), the plurality of play modes include: a game mode in which an image of a lottery element corresponding to one first lottery hole (H1) among the one or more first lottery holes is displayed on the display unit (112) corresponding to the one first lottery hole; and a game mode for displaying images of elements other than the lottery elements corresponding to the one lottery hole on the display unit (112) corresponding to the one first lottery hole. According to the above configuration, there are a game mode in which the display unit (112) displays the lottery elements together with the marker unit (114), and a game mode in which the display unit (112) displays different types of images from the marker unit (114). Therefore, there is an advantage that various game modes can be realized.
[ Note 10]
In a preferred aspect of note 8 or note 9 (note 10), the plurality of display portions (112) are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction; the mark section (114) is provided between two display sections (112) adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. According to the above aspect, since the plurality of display units (112) are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, there is an advantage that the player can easily recognize each display unit (112) from an arbitrary direction around the game system (100).
[ Note 11]
In a preferred aspect (note 11) of any one of note 1 to note 10, the display unit (112) is a direct-view display device. The "direct-view display device" is a display in which an outgoing light beam from the display device directly reaches the eyes of the player, and is distinguished from a projection display device in which an outgoing light beam from the display device indirectly reaches the eyes of the player through a projection surface.
