In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the supporting plate 70 may be a hard metal supporting plate, and the metal supporting plate has an arc-shaped edge, that is, the initial state of the supporting plate 70 is a bending state having the arc-shaped edge. The display panel 40 is a flexible display panel, so that the display panel 40 can be bent or the display panel 40 can be bent at a specific angle according to actual requirements. The transparent adhesive layer 20 and the flexible cover plate 10 both have high light transmittance and low light absorption, so that light generated by the display panel 40 can well penetrate through the transparent adhesive layer 20 and the flexible cover plate 10.
In some embodiments, the display panel 40 includes:
a flexible primer layer 50 disposed on a side of the display panel 40 adjacent to the first connection layer 60, the flexible primer layer 50 extending to the edge bending region 110;
the polarizer layer 20 is disposed on one side of the display panel 40 close to the transparent adhesive layer 20, and the polarizer layer 20 extends to the edge bending region 110.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the flexible bottom film layer 50 is made of a flexible material, and is used for separating the central portion of the display panel 40 from the first connection layer 60, so as to protect the display panel 40. The polarizer layer 20 is not only used to separate the transparent adhesive layer 20 from the central portion of the display panel 40 to protect the display panel 40, but also used to control the polarization direction of light, and is used to convert and analyze the light beam generated by the display panel 40 to generate a contrast of brightness, thereby generating a display image.
In a comparative example, as shown in fig. 2, the flexible display module 100 'includes a support plate 70', a first connection layer 60', a flexible primer layer 50', a display panel 40', a polarizer 30', a transparent adhesive layer 20 'and a flexible cover plate 10' stacked in sequence from top to bottom. As shown in fig. 2, the edge of the flexible display module 100 'is bent toward the non-display side to form an edge bending region 110'. The flexible cover plate 10 'is connected with the display panel 40' only through the transparent adhesive layer 20', and the display panel 40' is connected with the support plate 70 'only through the first connection layer 60'. The inventors have found that, when the flexible display module 100 'shown in fig. 2 is tested for reliability, the edges of the display panel 40' and the flexible cover 10 'under the support plate 70' are bent and attached to the support plate 70', and the display panel 40' and the flexible cover 10 'under the support plate 70' are made of flexible materials, so that they have a certain resilience. The display panel 40 'and the flexible cover plate 10' can drive the first connecting layer 60 'and the transparent adhesive layer 20' to deform under the action of the rebounding force, so that the bending edge of the flexible display module is subjected to adhesive opening, and the appearance of the flexible display module is poor. For example, as shown in fig. 3a, the adhesive is released at the first connection layer 60 'of the flexible display module 100'; or as shown in fig. 3b, the glue is removed at the transparent glue layer 20 'of the flexible display module 100'.
In the flexible display module 100 provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, at least one connection structure 80 is disposed at the edge bending region 110 of the flexible display module 100, and the at least one connection structure 80 connects the flexible cover plates 10 at two sides of the flexible display module 100 with the support plate 70. A display panel 40, a first connecting layer 60 and a transparent adhesive layer 20 are disposed between the flexible cover plate 10 and the support plate 70. The connection structure 80 connects the flexible cover plate 10 and the support plate 70, so that the influence of the elastic force of the display panel 40 and the flexible cover plate 10 on the first connection layer 60 and the transparent adhesive layer 20 is reduced, the first connection layer 60 and the support plate 70 and the transparent adhesive layer 20 and the display panel 40 are not easy to separate, and the phenomenon of adhesive failure at the edge bending part of the flexible display module 100 is improved.
In some embodiments, the portion of the flexible cover sheet 10 located at the edge bending region 110 is folded back on the side of the support sheet 70 facing the non-display side, as shown in fig. 4.
The connection structure 80 includes: an inflected section 101 of the flexible cover 10 and a second connecting layer 90, the second connecting layer 90 being located between the inflected section 101 and the support plate 70 and connecting the inflected section 101 to the support plate 70.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, one side of the flexible cover 10 located in the edge Bending region 100 is extended, then the extended side is bent, so that the extended side of the flexible cover 10 is folded back toward the direction close to the support plate 70 onto the surface of the support plate 70 away from the display panel 40, and then the folded-back portion 101 of the flexible cover 10 is connected to the surface of the support plate 70 away from the display panel 40 through the second connection layer 90. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, one side of the flexible cover 10 located in the edge bending region 110 is extended and folded back, so that the edge portion of the edge bending region 110 of other components located between the flexible cover 10 and the support plate 70 in the flexible display module 100 can be wrapped by the extended side of the flexible cover 10, thereby preventing the separation at the edge bending region 110, between the flexible cover 10 and the display panel 40, and between the display panel 40 and the support plate 70, and improving the glue failure at the edge bending region of the flexible display module 100.

In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first fixing member 802 is fixed to a side of the flexible cover plate 10 close to the support plate 70, and the second fixing member 803 is fixed to a side of the support plate 70 far from the flexible cover plate 10. Claims (10)

1. A flexible display module comprising an edge bending region bent toward a non-display side, the flexible display module comprising:
a support plate extending to the edge bending region;
the display panel is arranged on one side of the support plate facing to the display side in a laminated mode and extends to the edge bending area;
the flexible cover plate is arranged on one side of the display panel far away from the support plate in a stacked mode and extends to the edge bending area, and the part, located in the edge bending area, of the flexible cover plate is folded back or is not folded back to one side, facing the non-display side, of the support plate;
a first connection layer positioned between and connecting the support plate and the display panel;
the transparent adhesive layer is positioned between the flexible cover plate and the display panel and is connected with the flexible cover plate and the display panel; and
at least one connecting structure connecting a portion of the flexible cover plate located at the edge bending region with a portion of the support plate located at the edge bending region.
2. The flexible display module of claim 1, wherein the display panel comprises:
a flexible primer layer disposed on a side of the display panel adjacent to the first connection layer, the flexible primer layer extending to the edge bending region;
the polarizer layer is arranged on one side, close to the transparent adhesive layer, of the display panel and extends to the edge bending area.
3. The flexible display module of claim 1, wherein when the portion of the flexible cover sheet in the edge bending region is folded back to the side of the support plate facing the non-display side;
the connection structure includes: the flexible cover plate comprises a reverse-folded part and a second connecting layer, wherein the second connecting layer is positioned between the reverse-folded part and the support plate and is used for connecting the reverse-folded part and the support plate.
4. The flexible display module of claim 3,
the support plate includes a planar portion and a curved portion at the edge curved region, the inflected portion extending to a side of the planar portion toward the non-display side.
5. The flexible display module according to claim 1, wherein the end of the edge bending region of the flexible display module has a groove, and the connecting structure is a glue member filling the groove and connecting the flexible cover plate and the support plate.
6. The flexible display module of claim 1, wherein when the portion of the flexible cover plate in the edge bending region is not folded back to the side of the support plate facing the non-display side, the connection structure comprises:
one side of the first fixing piece is connected with one side, close to the display panel, of the flexible cover plate, and the other side of the first fixing piece extends along the direction close to the support plate;
one side of the second fixing piece is connected with one side, far away from the display panel, of the supporting plate, a first groove is formed in the surface, close to the first fixing piece, of the second fixing piece, and a second groove matched with the first groove in position is formed in the surface, close to the second fixing piece, of the first fixing piece; and
and one side of the connecting piece is clamped into the first groove, and the other side of the connecting piece is clamped into the second groove.
7. The flexible display module of claim 6, wherein the at least one connection structure comprises three connection structures;
the edge bending area is located on the long side or the wide side of the flexible display module, and the three connecting structures are distributed at two ends and the middle of the edge bending area.
8. The flexible display module of claim 6,
one side of the first fixing piece is connected with one side, close to the display panel, of the flexible cover plate through foam cotton rubber;
one side of the second fixing piece is connected with one side, far away from the display panel, of the supporting plate through foam cotton rubber.
9. The flexible display module according to claim 6, wherein the first fixing member and the second fixing member are made of polyester resin, and the connecting member is a metal connecting member.
10. A display device comprising the flexible display module according to any one of claims 1-9.
