The present application will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a flexible cover plate 10 according to an embodiment of the application; in the present embodiment, a flexible cover plate 10 is provided, and the flexible cover plate 10 is used to attach to a display screen body 21 (see fig. 6 below) so as to protect the display screen body 21. The flexible cover sheet 10 may be folded, specifically including a folded region 10a and an adjacent non-folded region 10b. Wherein, the bending area 10a refers to the bending part of the flexible cover plate 10 in the bending process; the non-bending region 10b refers to a portion of the flexible cover plate 10 that does not need to be bent during bending.
As shown in fig. 1, the flexible cover sheet 10 includes a substrate 11, a protective layer 12, and a flexible layer 13. The substrate 11 and the protective layer 12 are stacked, and the protective layer 12 may be an integrally formed structure, and the protective layer 12 has a uniform stiffness. The flexible layer 13 is disposed between the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12. For convenience of description, the following defines that the portion of the substrate 11 corresponding to the bending region 10a is a bending portion, and the portion of the substrate 11 corresponding to the non-bending region 10b is a non-bending portion.
As shown in fig. 1, in the embodiment, the stiffness of the non-bending portion of the substrate 11 is greater than the stiffness of the bending portion, and the stiffness of the protective layer 12 is not greater than the stiffness of the bending portion; the stiffness of the protective layer 12 and the portion of the substrate 11 to be bent can be set according to the foldable or bending property of the flexible cover plate 10, so as to ensure that the flexible cover plate 10 has better bending property; at the same time, the non-bending part of the base plate 11 facing away from the display screen body 21, which does not need to be bent, has enough stiffness to reduce the risk of deformation of the whole surface of the flexible cover plate 10 as much as possible. In a specific embodiment, the stiffness of the protective layer 12 is the same as the stiffness of the bending portion of the base plate 11, and the specific stiffness value may be the same as or similar to the stiffness of the conventional flexible cover plate 10.
In an embodiment, referring to fig. 2a and 2b, fig. 2a is a bottom view of a substrate 11 according to an embodiment of the present application. Fig. 2b is a bottom view of a substrate 11 according to another embodiment of the present application; the substrate 11 shown in fig. 1 is A-A view of fig. 2 b. The substrate 11 has thinned regions 111 and non-thinned regions 112 arranged at intervals. Wherein the thinned region 111 is located in the bending region 10a, and forms a bending portion of the substrate 11, and at least part of the flexible layer 13 is filled in the thinned region 111; the non-thinned region 112 is located on the non-inflection region 10b and forms a non-inflection portion of the substrate 11.
In this embodiment, the thickness of the non-thinned region 112 is greater than the thickness of the thinned region 111, so that the thickness of the non-thinned region 112 of the substrate 11 is thicker, with enough stiffness, and the thickness of the non-thinned region 112 is thinner to achieve buckling or bending. Thus, the bending performance of the substrate 11 is not affected, and the overall stiffness of the substrate 11 can be improved, so that the deformation of the whole surface of the substrate 11 is avoided. Specifically, in this embodiment, the thickness of the protective layer 12 is not greater than the thickness of the thinned region 111 of the substrate 11. Preferably, the thickness of the protective layer 12 is the same as the minimum thickness of the thinned region 111 of the substrate 11; to effectively ensure the overall folding performance of the flexible cover 10.
Specifically, the thinned region 111 and the non-thinned region 112 of the substrate 11 are integrally formed, and the thinned region 111 and the non-thinned region 112 are the same in material, i.e., the elastic modulus of the two is the same.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1 to 2b, at least one groove 113 is formed on the surface of the substrate 11 adjacent to the protective layer 12, a thinned region 111 is formed on a portion of the substrate 11 corresponding to each groove 113, and a plurality of non-thinned regions 112 are formed on the remaining portion.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2a, the number of the grooves 113 is one, and one groove 113 is a through groove extending along the first direction B of the substrate 11, so as to ensure the overall bending performance of the substrate 11. In this embodiment, the substrate 11 includes one thinned region 111 and two non-thinned regions 112, and the two non-thinned regions 112 are a first non-thinned region 112a and a second non-thinned region 112b located on opposite sides of the groove 113, respectively.
In another embodiment, as shown in fig. 2b, unlike the substrate 11 corresponding to fig. 2a, the number of the grooves 113 is plural, and the plural grooves 113 are arranged at intervals along the second direction C of the substrate 11. In this embodiment, the substrate 11 includes a plurality of thinned regions 111 and a plurality of non-thinned regions 112 alternately arranged with the plurality of thinned regions 111 and connected to each other. That is, the flexible cover 10 may be bent in a plurality of positions.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2b, the number of grooves 113 is two, and the two grooves 113 are a first groove 113a and a second groove 113b, respectively; the first grooves 113a and the second grooves 113b are spaced apart along the second direction C of the substrate 11. In this particular embodiment, the substrate 11 includes two thinned regions 111 and three non-thinned regions 112. The three non-thinned regions 112 are a third non-thinned region 112c and a fourth non-thinned region 112d located on opposite sides of the first recess 113a, respectively, and a fifth non-thinned region 112e located on a side of the second recess 113b facing away from the first recess 113 a.
Specifically, the inner surface of each groove 113 may be a curved surface, that is, the thickness of the thinned region 111 of the substrate 11 is gradually reduced, and the maximum thickness of the thinned region 111 is the same as the thickness of the non-thinned region 112 of the substrate 11; the probability of breakage of the substrate 11 at the junction of the thinned region 111 and the non-thinned region 112 during bending of the substrate 11 can be reduced more effectively than if the recess 113 were rectangular. Specifically, each groove 113 or at least a part of the inner surface of the groove 113 may be an arc surface.
Of course, in other embodiments, as shown in fig. 2c, fig. 2c is a bottom view of a substrate 11 according to still another embodiment of the present application; each of the thinning regions 111 may also be provided with a plurality of grooves 113, and the plurality of grooves 113 are arranged at intervals along the first direction B, so as to prevent the flexible cover plate 10 from breaking or cracking at the thinning region 111 while ensuring good bending performance of each of the thinning regions 111. Wherein each groove 113 of the plurality of grooves 113 may extend in the first direction B, or as shown in fig. 2C, each groove 113 extends in the second direction C; or a portion of the grooves 113 of the plurality of grooves 113 extend in the first direction B, and a portion of the grooves 113 extend in the second direction C; or each groove 113 extends obliquely at a predetermined angle to the first direction B. The angle value of the preset included angle can be 30 degrees, 60 degrees, 120 degrees or the like.
In this embodiment, through setting up the protective layer 12 at the one side surface of recess 113 at base plate 11, can make this flexible apron 10 and the one side surface that display screen body 21 laminated (namely the protective layer 12 deviates from the one side surface of base plate 11) and the opposite side surface that is opposite to this surface (namely the base plate 11 deviates from the one side surface of protective layer 12) all have better planarization, compare in the scheme of laminating base plate 11 directly with display screen body 21, can improve the laminating degree between flexible apron 10 and the display screen body 21, be convenient for laminate flexible apron 10 in display screen body 21, thereby avoid causing the influence to flexible apron 10's bending property and/or display performance. Meanwhile, since the stiffness of the protective layer 12 is not greater than that of the thinned region 111 of the substrate 11, the folding or bending performance of the flexible cover 10 is not affected even if the protective layer 12 is added.
Further, referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic view of the flexible layer 13 filling only the recess 113; in this embodiment, the substrate 11 is directly contacted with the protective layer 12, and the flexible layer 13 fills each groove 113 to ensure the uniformity of the overall thickness of the flexible cover plate 10; thus, the flexible cover plate 10 and the display screen body 21 are tightly combined, the overall hardness of the flexible cover plate 10 can be effectively ensured, the position of the flexible cover plate 10 corresponding to the groove 113 is avoided, the concave pit facing the display screen body 21 is formed under the action of external force, and the service life of the flexible cover plate 10 is effectively prolonged.
In a preferred embodiment, in order to avoid the flexible layer 13 affecting the bending performance and the display performance of the flexible cover plate 10, the flexible layer 13 may be specifically a transparent optical adhesive with a low elastic modulus. The flexible layer 13 thus further bonds the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12 together while filling the recess 113 to form a unitary flexible cover 10. Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the flexible layer 13 further extends from within the groove 113 to the edge positions of the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12, so that the portion of the flexible layer 13 extending outside the groove 113 is arranged to be laminated with the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12. Specifically, the orthographic projection of the protective layer 12 and the flexible layer 13 on the substrate 11 is completely coincident with the substrate 11. In this way, the flexible layer 13 can be further used to fill other gaps between the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12, so as to avoid the influence of the gaps on the adhesion between the flexible cover plate 10 and the display screen body 21, the bending of the flexible cover plate 10, and the display performance; meanwhile, the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12 can be completely bonded to avoid the problem of delamination or cracking during bending.
Of course, in other embodiments, the flexible layer 13 may also be a transparent liquid. In this embodiment, the flexible layer 13 may be filled only in the groove 113, and edges of the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12 may be bonded by other glue.
In this embodiment, the materials of the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12 may be glass; the protective layer 12 may be made of ultra-thin glass, and the thickness of the ultra-thin glass may be the same as the existing structure of the flexible cover plate 10, so as to ensure that the protective layer 12 has better folding or bending performance. The glass material can be any one of acrylic glue, soluble polyimide slurry, epoxy resin, silica gel, polyurethane or polycarbonate transparent paint. Of course, in other embodiments, referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a flexible cover plate 10 according to still another embodiment of the present application; the protective layer 12 may also specifically include a transparent polyimide layer 121 and a cured layer 122 laminated on the first and second surfaces of the transparent polyimide layer 121. The organic material of the hardening layer 122 may be one or more of acrylic, epoxy, silicone, and urethane. Of course, in other embodiments, the protective layer 12 may be a laminated structure combining the two. For example, the protective layer 12 includes a laminated ultra thin glass and transparent polyimide layer 121.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the thickness of the non-thinned region 112 of the substrate 11 may range from 0.5mm to 2mm; the minimum thickness of the thinned region 111 of the substrate 11 may range from 0.01mm to 0.3mm; the thickness of the protective layer 12 may range from 0.01mm to 0.2mm.
The three-layer structure of the flexible cover plate 10 according to the present embodiment is provided with the substrate 11, so that the thickness of the non-thinned region 112 of the substrate 11, which does not need to be bent, is thicker, and has sufficient stiffness, and the thickness of the thinned region 111, which needs to be bent or curved, is thinner, so that the flexible cover plate 10 can be bent or curved. Meanwhile, by providing the flexible layer 13 and adopting the transparent optical adhesive with low elastic modulus, bending is facilitated, and the gap between the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12 can be filled and flattened by using the flexible layer 13. In addition, the protective layer 12 adopts ultra-thin glass with uniform thickness and flat surface, or a transparent polyimide layer 121 with a hardened layer 122 coated on the front side and the back side, or a laminated structure combining the two, so that any position of the layer has bending capability. The first surface and the second surface of the flexible cover plate 10 opposite to the first surface are flat surfaces, the whole thickness of the flexible cover plate 10 is uniform, local folding or bending can be realized, and meanwhile, the area without bending can be ensured to have enough stiffness; meanwhile, the thickness is uniform, the surface is flat, and the flexible display screen is easier to attach.
In another embodiment, referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a flexible cover plate 10 according to still another embodiment of the present application; the substrate 11 has a uniform thickness, and the elastic modulus of the material of the non-bending portion of the substrate 11 is greater than that of the material of the bending portion; and the elastic modulus of the material of the protective layer 12 is not greater than the elastic modulus of the material of the bending portion of the substrate 11; thus, the elastic modulus of the bending region 10a of the flexible cover plate 10 can be lower, so that the flexible cover plate 10 can be folded or curled; the elastic modulus of the non-bending part of the substrate 11 is made larger to improve the stiffness of the non-bending part of the substrate 11 and avoid the deformation of the whole surface of the substrate 11. It will be appreciated that in this embodiment, the non-bent portion and the bent portion of the substrate 11 may be injection molded from different materials. The hardness of the non-bent portion of the substrate 11 may be 9H or more; the hardness of the bending portion of the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12 may be 4H or less. The non-bending portion of the substrate 11 may be toughened glass, and the material of the bending portion of the substrate 11 may be the material of the conventional glass flexible cover plate 10. In this embodiment, the thickness of the substrate 11 may be greater than or equal to the thickness of the protective layer 12; of course, the thickness of the substrate 11 may also be smaller than the thickness of the protective layer 12. Specifically, in this embodiment, the flexible layer 13 may not be provided between the substrate 11 and the protective layer 12.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the thickness of the substrate 11 may be 0.5mm to 2mm, and the thickness of the protective layer 12 may be 0.01mm to 0.2mm.
