Abstract
The invention relates to an automatic control system for a people mover, which is capable of indicating an accident occurring on the people mover, comprising: a video monitoring device configured to monitor the people mover and to emit a first signal when an accident on the people mover is monitored; an indicating device communicatively coupled to the video monitoring device and configured to receive a first signal from the video monitoring device when the video monitoring device monitors that an accident has occurred on the people mover and to issue a second signal to the passenger that alerts the passenger of the location of the accident.

Technical Field
The invention relates to an automatic control system for a personnel transportation device and the personnel transportation device.
Background
In a people transportation device, such as an escalator, a moving sidewalk, etc., when an accident occurs, other passengers or related safety personnel cannot timely know the occurrence of the accident and the position of the accident, so that the position cannot be timely avoided or timely rescued.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present invention provides an automatic control system for a people mover, capable of indicating an accident occurring on the people mover, comprising: a video monitoring device configured to monitor the people mover and to emit a first signal when an accident on the people mover is monitored; an indicating device communicatively coupled to the video monitoring device and configured to receive a first signal from the video monitoring device when the video monitoring device monitors that an accident has occurred on the people mover and to issue a second signal to the passenger that alerts the passenger of the location of the accident.
Advantageously, the video surveillance apparatus comprises a plurality of cameras, the fields of view of the plurality of cameras covering the entire video surveillance apparatus.
Advantageously, the indication means comprises a plurality of light sources arranged along the length of the people mover, and the second signal comprises a light signal of a predetermined colour emitted by the plurality of light sources to indicate the location of the accident situation when the accident situation occurs.
Advantageously, the indication means further comprises a first speaker, the second signal comprising a sound signal generated by the first speaker to indicate the location of the incident in the event of an incident.
Advantageously, the indication means further comprises a display, the second signal comprising a video signal displayed by the display to indicate the location of the incident in the event of an incident.

The invention also relates to a people mover comprising an automatic control system as described above.

Detailed Description
Various embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Here, it is to be noted that, in the drawings, the same reference numerals are given to constituent parts having substantially the same or similar structures and functions, and repeated description thereof will be omitted. The term "sequentially comprising A, B, C, etc" merely indicates the order of the included elements A, B, C, etc. and does not exclude the possibility of including other elements between a and B and/or between B and C.
The drawings in the present specification are schematic views to assist in explaining the concept of the present invention, and schematically show the shapes of respective portions and their mutual relationships.
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1.
The automatic control system for a people mover according to the present invention can indicate the location of an accident situation occurring on the people mover. Such as accidental falls by passengers, retrograde movement by passengers, passengers getting their body out of the people mover, children's annoyance, etc.
The second signal may include a light signal, a sound signal, a video signal, a projection signal, and the like.
As shown in fig. 1, the automatic control system 1 comprises a video monitoring device 11, the field of view of which preferably covers the entire people mover, configured to monitor whether an accident has occurred on the people mover. The first signal may occur if the video surveillance arrangement 11 monitors that an accident has occurred. The indicating device 12 is communicatively coupled to the video surveillance device, and is capable of receiving a first signal from the video surveillance device and emitting a second signal that alerts the passenger of the location of the accident situation.
The indicating means 12 comprises a plurality of light sources arranged along the length of the people mover, which light sources, after the indicating means has received the first signal, emit a light signal of a predetermined color under the control of the indicating means to indicate the location of the accident situation. For example, the plurality of light sources extend along the skirt of the people mover in one-to-one correspondence with each of the plurality of steps, such that when an accident (e.g., a passenger falling) occurs on a step, the light source corresponding to the step emits a light signal. As the falling passenger moves on successive steps, the corresponding light sources can successively emit light signals to indicate the location of the passenger's fall.
The indicating device 12 also comprises a first speaker which, after the first signal has been received by the indicating device, emits an acoustic signal under the control of the indicating device to voice-cast the passenger where the accident occurred.
The indicating device 12 further comprises a display which, after the indicating device has received the first signal, emits a video signal under the control of the indicating device to indicate to the passenger the location of the accident situation.
The pointing device 12 also includes a projector that, after the pointing device receives the first signal, can project the projected signal to the location where the incident occurred to indicate the location where the incident occurred. The projection signal is in the form of light.
One or more of the plurality of light sources, first speaker, display and projector described above may be operated simultaneously. For example, when an accident occurs, the corresponding light source in the plurality of light sources emits light of a predetermined color, the first speaker broadcasts the position of the accident, the display also displays the position, and the projector projects the projection signal to the position and moves along with the movement of the position.
Furthermore, the automatic control system comprises an emergency button indicator 13 communicably coupled to the video monitoring device 11, which is capable of generating a third signal to indicate the position of the emergency button when the video monitoring device monitors that an accident has occurred on the people mover, so as to facilitate the timely pressing of the emergency button by the surrounding passengers.
The emergency button indicator 13 comprises a second speaker which generates an acoustic signal to indicate the position of the emergency button accurately when the video surveillance device monitors that an accident has occurred on the people mover.
In addition, the emergency button indicator further includes a light source disposed proximate the emergency button, the light source capable of emitting a light signal to indicate the location of the emergency button.

Claims (11)
1. An automatic control system for a people mover capable of indicating an accident situation occurring on the people mover, characterized in that the automatic control system comprises:
a video monitoring device configured to monitor the people mover and to emit a first signal when an accident on the people mover is monitored;
an indicating device communicatively coupled to the video monitoring device and configured to receive a first signal from the video monitoring device when the video monitoring device monitors an accident on the people mover and to issue a second signal to the passenger indicating to the passenger a location of the accident.
2. The automated control system of claim 1, wherein the video surveillance device comprises a plurality of cameras, the plurality of cameras having fields of view that encompass the entire people mover.
3. The automated control system of claim 1, wherein the indicating means comprises a plurality of light sources disposed along the length of the people mover, and the second signal comprises a light signal of a predetermined color emitted by the plurality of light sources to indicate the location of the accident when the accident occurs.
4. The automatic control system of claim 3, wherein the indicating means further comprises a first speaker, the second signal comprising a sound signal generated by the first speaker to indicate a location of the incident in the event of an incident.
5. The automatic control system of claim 4, wherein the indicating means further comprises a display, the second signal comprising a video signal displayed by the display to indicate a location of an accident in the event of an accident.
6. The automatic control system of claim 5, wherein the indicating device further comprises a projector, and the second signal comprises a projected signal projected by the projector to a location where the incident occurred.
7. An automatic control system according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that, when the position of an accident on the people mover changes, the second signal can change accordingly to follow the change of the position of the accident.
8. The automated control system of any one of claims 1 to 6, further comprising an emergency button indicator communicably coupled to the video surveillance device, the emergency button indicator capable of generating a third signal to indicate a location of the emergency button when the video surveillance device monitors an incident on the people mover.
9. The automatic control system of claim 8, wherein the emergency button indicator includes a second speaker and the third signal includes an audible signal generated by the second speaker.
10. The automatic control system of claim 9, wherein the emergency button indicator further comprises a light source disposed proximate the emergency button, and the third signal comprises a light signal generated by the light source.
11. People mover, characterized in that it comprises an automatic control system according to any of claims 1-10.
