Abstract

一种电池帽盖装置,包括:用于覆盖电池壳上部的帽板;焊接在帽板上的正极端子,与帽板绝缘;具有铆钉突起的铆接件,经它形成通气口,经在帽板和正极端子上形成的孔插入从而铆接它们,铆接件与正极端子电连接;安装在铆接件下端的安全件,阻断通气口;附着于安全件下端并与电池壳电极装置的正极头结合的正极头固定件,其中安全件由于电池壳内压增大而变形并与正极头固定件脱离;安全件和正极头固定件通过焊接相互结合;帽盖装置还包括:插在正极端子和帽板之间的第一绝缘件;插入在帽板和正极头固定件之间的第二绝缘件。

Description

电池帽盖装置
技术领域
本发明涉及电池,具体地,涉及具有改进结构的电池帽盖装置,当安全部件由于电池意外内压增大而破裂时,其可与其它部件电断开。
背景技术
便携式器具如摄像机、移动电话和手提电脑变得越来越轻和用途越多,研究已集中到驱动此器具的电池上。传统电池中,锂二次(即,可再充电)电池的每单位重量的能量密度约为传统电池例如铅酸电池、Ni-Cd电池和Ni-H电池的3倍,并可快速充电。在锂二次电池中,锂钴氧化物(LiCoO2)、锂镍氧化物(LiNiO2),锂锰氧化物((LiMn2O4)或类似物用作正极的活性材料,而锂、锂合金,含碳材料或类似物用作负极的活性材料。此外,有机电解质或固体聚合物电解质用作电解质。一般地,二次电池的形状为圆柱形,或方柱形,而方柱形对制造便携式器具轻而小有优势。
参考图1,方柱形的传统锂二次电池包括:电池壳17,用于容纳正极板和负极板相互层叠成、之间有隔板的电极芯(未示出);帽盖装置10,附着于电池壳17的上部。
帽盖装置10包括:帽板12,用于覆盖电池壳17的上部;安装在帽板12上的正极端子11;和插入形成在正极端子11和帽板12的孔洞的铆接件15,用来将正极端子11与帽板12结合。第一绝缘件13插在正极端子11和帽板12之间,而帽板12和铆接件15通过第二绝缘件14相互隔离。
与正极板(未示出)相连接的正极头焊到铆接件15上。此外,电池壳17与负极头(未示出)相连。
用于往电池壳17灌装电解质的电解质注射孔12a形成在帽板12的一侧,破裂部分12b形成在帽板12的另一侧,当电池内压反常高时破裂。
当锂二次电池内压反常高时,帽板12的破裂部分12a破裂,电池内气体逸出。此时,由于电池还电连接,没有电安全装置,使用电池的便携式器具可能遭到如电冲击的连续事故。
发明内容
为解决上述问题,本发明的目的是提供电池帽盖装置,其可逸出电池内气体并同时隔断电池的电路径。
因此,为达到上述目的,提供一种电池帽盖装置,包括:用于覆盖电池壳上部的帽板;与帽板隔离的焊接在帽板上的正极端子,其特征在于帽盖装置包括:具有铆钉凸起的铆接件,经它形成通气口,插入在帽板和正极端子上形成的孔从而铆接它们,铆接件与正极端子电连接;安装在铆接件下端的安全件,用于阻断通气口;附着在安全件下端并与电池壳内电极装置的正极头结合的正极头固定件,其中由于电池壳内压增大安全件变形并从正极头固定件脱离;安全件与正极头固定件通过焊接相互结合;并且帽盖装置还包括:插在正极端子和帽板之间的第一绝缘件;插入在帽板和正极头固定件之间的第二绝缘件。
安全件最佳地形成为半球形。

具体实施方式
图2表示采用本发明帽盖装置的二次电池。参考图2,电池壳23容纳正极板33和负极板32相互层叠而成的、其间具有隔板31的电极芯22。正极板33和负极板32分别与正极头22a和负极头22c相连。负极头22c与电池壳23相连。
绝缘板24位于电极芯22上,正极头22a从形成在绝缘板上的孔口中突出并附着于正极头固定件48。
本发明电池帽盖装置40安装在电池壳23上。
参考图2和图3,帽盖装置40包括:用于覆盖电池壳23上部的帽板43;安装在帽板43上的正极端子41。第一绝缘件42插在正极端子41和帽板43之间。具有绝缘功能的垫圈44附着于帽板43的下表面。电解质注射孔43a形成在帽板43上,用于往电池壳23灌装含有锂盐的电解质。
帽板43,第一绝缘件42、正极端子41和垫圈44通过铆接件46铆接在一起。铆接件46的铆钉突起46b经形成在帽板43、第一绝缘板42、正极端子41和垫圈44上的孔洞插入,从而铆接它们。通气口46a经铆接件46形成在铆钉突起46b内,并当电池已组装时通气口46a与电池壳23内部相通。
铆接件46通过第二绝缘件45与帽板43相隔离,第二绝缘件45插入其间。如图2和图3所示,辅助金属件49可附着于第二绝缘件45侧面。即,通过在辅助金属件49上形成的突起49a与在第二绝缘件45形成的狭缝45a固定,辅助金属件49可附着于第二绝缘件45。辅助金属件49作用是牢固固定正极头固定件48。
安全件47安装在铆接件46的下端,用于阻断通气口46a。最好安全件47的圆周表面在焊接点W2和W4同铆接件46焊接。安全件47最好形成半球形。
此外,安全件47的最低端在焊接点W3同正极头固定件48焊接。正极头固定件48在焊接点W1和W5与辅助金属件49焊接。
在运行采用如上述帽盖装置的电池中,电流从电极芯22顺序经正极头22a,正极头固定件48,安全件47和铆接件46流至正极端子41。
当电池反常运行并产生气体时,电池壳的内压增加。电池内压增大的主要原因是由于电池的内冲击或短路。当由于电池反常流过过量电流,电池发热现象使得电池有机溶剂蒸发,内压升高。
当电池内压升高,安全件47由于高压而变形,并与正极头固定件48脱离。因而,电池电流不能流过。然后,安全件47继续朝铆接件46的通气口46a方向变形并最终破裂。结果,电池壳23的内部与通气口46a相通,电池中的气体可经通气口46a逸出。因此,内压释放。
按本发明的帽盖装置,当高内压破裂安全件时,电池中的气体逸出,同时阻断电流流过。结果,电池安全。

Claims (3)

1.电池帽盖装置,包括:用于覆盖电池壳的上部的帽板;和焊接在帽板上的、与帽板绝缘的正极端子,
其特征在于帽盖装置包括:
具有铆钉突起的铆接件,经它形成通气口,经在帽板和正极端子上形成的孔插入从而铆接它们,铆接件与正极端子电连接,
安装在铆接件下端的、用于阻断通气口的安全件;及
附着于安全件下端并与电池壳电极装置的正极头相结合的正极头固定件,
其中安全件由于电池壳内压增大而变形并与正极头固定件脱离;
安全件和正极头固定件通过焊接相互结合;和
帽盖装置还包括:插在正极端子和帽板之间的第一绝缘件;插入在帽板和正极头固定件之间的第二绝缘件。
2.如权利要求1的电池帽盖装置,其中安全件呈半球件。
3.如权利要求1的电池帽盖装置,其中固定在正极头固定件上的辅助金属件附着于第二绝缘件。
