Table 1 subject moisture content of the inner stratum corneum of the forearm (x±s) at various time points
Figure SMS_3
Figure SMS_4
The skin moisture meter corneometer cm825 was used to measure the skin stratum corneum moisture content, the higher the skin stratum corneum moisture content measurement, the higher the skin stratum corneum moisture content. As can be seen from the data in table 1, the differences between the moisture content change values of the skin horny layer on the inner side of the forearm and the moisture content change values of the skin before use in example 1 were statistically significant (P < 0.05) in example 1 at 15min, 45min, 1h and 2h, and the differences between the measured values and the initial values in both groups (example 1 and the blank) were significantly different (P < 0.05). Experimental data show that the double-layer shaking essence provided by the invention has the effect of improving the skin moisture content in a short period, and especially when sugar alcohol, PCA sodium, 1, 3-butanediol and 1, 2-hexanediol are combined in a specific proportion and dosage, the skin moisture content can be remarkably improved.
(2) Percutaneous moisture loss-skin barrier
The sample essence was shaken up after the face was cleaned, 3 drops were taken and applied to the left and right cheeks of the subject, the hands were rubbed until warm, the face was gently wrapped to aid absorption, twice a day in the morning and 4 weeks, and the skin of the cheek bone of the left and right cheeks was examined with a percutaneous moisture loss test probe (German CKTewameter TM Hex) for 2 weeks and for 4 weeks before use, and the percutaneous moisture loss rate (TEWL) was measured, with the specific results shown in Table 2.
Table 2 subject changes in TEWL values for facial test areas at different time points
Figure SMS_5
Figure SMS_6
The percutaneous moisture loss test probe (Germany CKTewameter TM Hex) detects the percutaneous moisture loss rate of the skin, and the lower the percutaneous moisture loss rate of the skin is, the better the skin barrier function is. As can be seen from the data in table 2, examples 1 and 2 are better able to reduce transdermal water flux as compared to comparative examples 1-2, i.e., demonstrate that double layer shaking essence can reduce transdermal water loss rate of skin and improve skin barrier function over a 28 day period of use at a specific oil-water ratio and composition.
