本申请提供一种系统定时管理方法及通信装置,能够持续维护第一制式的系统定时,以便为第二通信单元在实现第二制式的业务调度和资源配置过程中提供参考,可以提高共享资源利用率和工作效率,以及降低功耗。该方法包括:第二通信单元能够根据第一通信单元处于唤醒态时获取并存储在不掉电公共存储区的第一制式的系统定时,计算第一通信单元处于睡眠态时第一制式的系统定时补偿值,进而计算第一通信单元处于睡眠态时第一制式的系统定时折算值。
