Abstract

Description

主销/转向节臂组件的闭孔泡沫镶件
本发明涉及转向机构的主销/转向节臂组件,特别涉及设置在主销和转向节臂之间的闭孔泡沫镶件。
在现有技术中有多种主销转向节臂组件。US 5,213,352公开了一种主销转向桥组件,它包括一根桥、转向节臂、可摆动地连接于轴和转向节臂的主销和一个带有黄油嘴的上盖,该上盖将主销保持在转向节臂内。一个止推轴承设置在主销和转向节臂之间以减小摩擦和磨损。US3,542,392;US 3,441,288和US 2,916,195都公开了传统的转向节机构的变型。每件上述美国专利都在本说明书中用作参考。
现有技术的转向节主销装置的缺点在于,主销可有一定程度的轴向位移。这种相对于转向节臂的位移会引起主销和主销盖或转向节臂底部之间空气/油脂容积的变化。这种容积变化产生正、负压力浮动,起到从主销与转向节密封界面排出油脂及吸入水和其它污染物的泵机构作用。因此,本发明的目的是减轻现有技术的缺陷并防止主销和主销盖或转向节臂的底部凹部之间空间的压力浮动。
本发明涉及主销和主销盖或转向节臂底部凹部之间设置的闭孔泡沫镶件。主销连接在车辆转向轴和转向节臂之间。主销可摆动地连接于桥梁两端并可摆动地连接于转向节,转向节又连接于车轮。每个主销可转动地安装在转向节上圆孔内并被邻近于至少一端设置的主销盖保持在孔内。一个闭孔泡沫镶件设置在主销和主销盖之间,基本填充其间的整个空间。镶件最好在轴向上受到压缩,使其可以进一步地压缩或膨胀,以便基本或完全地占据主销和主销盖或转向节臂孔的底面之间的容积。黄油嘴可在主销盖上形成,黄油通道可在镶件和主销盖之间形成,以便于润滑。

图1表示车辆前桥组件的局部横剖图。一根刚性的桥梁1具有一基本圆筒形的孔2,该孔具有基本竖直的轴线5。圆筒形孔2的对准可稍许倾斜以形成外倾角。
基本圆筒形的主销3设置在孔2中。转向节4包括一根向外延伸的车轮轴承主轴(未画出),在该主轴上可转动地安装接地的车轮(未画出)。转向节4包括上、下轭臂4a,4b,每个轭臂具有用于接纳主销3的延伸端部的圆筒形孔6a,6b。转向臂以传统方式连接于转向节以便转向。
主销3的上端在每个孔6a,6b或转向节4内延伸,并且可转动地装配在套筒7中,以便于转向节臂4和桥梁1之间的相对转动。环形挠性密封件8安装在孔6a中。第一密封件围绕主销安装在主销和转向节孔之间。第二密封件安装在转向节孔和主销盖9之间。这些密封件可防止灰尘和水汽进入及油脂溢出,以保护主销3、转向节4的孔6a,6b和套筒7之间的轴承面。
在孔6a的上端,主销盖9借助与转向节4的螺纹啮合紧密封闭该孔。密封件8设置在主销盖9和转向节孔之间,在其间形成紧密的密封。黄油嘴11在主销盖9上形成,可将润滑剂引入主销盖和主销之间,以便润滑主销3、转向节4和套筒7之间的轴承面。
一个闭孔泡沫镶件10设置在主销3和主销盖9之间,基本填满其间的空间。镶件10最好稍许受到压缩,当主销3转向平移时可膨胀及进一步压缩。镶件10用于消除当主销3相对于转向节轴向移动时空气/油脂容积的变化。这种布置可防止正、负压力浮动,否则,这种压力浮动会形成从主销与转向节密封界面排出油脂及吸入水和其它污染物的泵送机构的作用。镶件10最好制成盘状,基本填满主销3和主销盖9之间的空间。在镶件10上可形成凹口13以减小或消除镶件与主销3和套筒7之间转动界面的接触,从而减小磨损。
闭孔泡沫镶件易于安装。在装好转向节臂4、主销3和桥梁1之后,将镶件放置在孔6a内抵靠着主销3的顶部。然后,将主销盖9旋入转向节臂4的孔6a的螺纹12。拧紧主销盖9以贴切地接合密封件8并稍许压缩镶件10。稍许压缩镶件10是为了预加载镶件10,因而如果主销3和主销盖9之间的距离增加,可使镶件膨胀。预加载也可抵销在正常工作过程中镶件出现的任何压缩永久变形。不管是否使用第二个主销盖9,镶件可以用在主销3的任一端。
现在参阅图2,一条油脂通道14可在主销盖9和镶件10的界面间形成,以便润滑剂从黄油嘴11通至主销3、转向节臂4和套筒7之间的轴承面。油脂通道14可为在主销盖9上或在镶件10的顶面上的一条槽。
转向节臂的下端,如前所述,最好形成为转向节臂的上部。但是,应注意的是,第二个主销盖可以由转向节的一个坚实部分替代,该坚实部分具有一个被封闭的凹部以接纳主销的底部延伸部分。当只有一个主销盖时,一个闭孔泡沫镶件可被放置在转向节臂和主销之间转向节臂的底部的底部凹部中。
虽然针对具体推荐实施例已对本发明作出图示和描述,但是,本专业技术人员显然理解可对其作出各种修改和变化而并不超出本发明的范围。

Claims (6)

1.一种转向机构,包括:
一根具有基本竖直对准的孔的桥梁;
一根穿过所述孔并具有从所述桥梁延伸的上、下延伸部分的主销;
一个具有上、下轭部的转向节,每个轭部有一个对准的孔,绕所述主销的所述上、下延伸部分中的相应一个可转动地设置,从而形成所述转向节和所述桥梁之间的可转动连接;
一个封闭装置,其用于封闭所述转向节的所述轭部的所述对准的孔,并将所述主销保持在其中;以及
至少一个镶件,其设置在所述主销和一个所述封闭装置之间,以便基本填充其间的整个空间。
2.如权利要求1所述的转向机构,其特征在于:所述封闭装置包括至少一个主销盖,所述主销盖可卸式固定在所述轭部之一上,以便封闭相应的孔。
3.如权利要求2所述的转向机构,其特征在于:所述主销盖还包括一个适于向所述相应的孔引入润滑剂的黄油嘴。
4.如权利要求3所述的转向机构,其特征在于:所述至少一个镶件设置在所述主销和所述主销盖之间,其中沿所述镶件和所述主销盖之间的界面形成一条油脂通道,以便所述润滑剂分配到所述转向节和所述主销之间的一个第二界面。
5.如权利要求1所述的转向机构,其特征在于:所述至少一个镶件是闭孔泡沫制成的,所述镶件在一个预加载作用下被压缩,因而适于膨胀和进一步压缩以连续减小由于所述主销相对于转向节轴向移动引起的压力浮动。
6.如权利要求5所述的转向机构,其特征在于:所述封闭装置包括主销盖,所述主销盖可卸式固定在每个所述轭部以相应地封闭每个所述孔;每个所述主销盖具有一黄油嘴以便将润滑剂引入所述孔;所述至少一个镶件为两个镶件,每个镶件设置在所述主销和所述主销盖之间,并具有在每个主销盖和所述镶件之间的界面上形成的一条油脂通道。
