Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application will be further described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are for purposes of illustration only and are not intended to limit the present application.
Along with the rapid development of intelligent science and technology, the requirements of people on the running stability of a server are higher and higher, wherein the main factor influencing the running stability of the server is the stability of a CPU, and at present, the stability of the CPU is determined through CPU hardware and cannot be improved through software. Therefore, in some cases, the default CPU hardware quality test is acceptable, and the stability of the CPU is considered satisfactory. However, in practical application, the situation of poor stability of the CPU often occurs, so that a greater risk of missed detection exists only in a manner of determining that the stability of the CPU meets the requirement according to the quality detection qualification of the CPU hardware.
Based on this, the prior art proposes a solution for performing stability test on a CPU before leaving the factory, and in the prior art, the method for performing stability test on the CPU is as follows: triggering a CPU to run a specific test program within a preset time period, acquiring state data of the CPU in the process of running the specific test program by the CPU within the preset time period, detecting whether abnormal conditions such as dead halt and restarting occur in the CPU within the preset time period according to the state data of the CPU, if so, determining that the stability test of the CPU is not passed, and if not, determining that the stability test of the CPU is passed.
However, in practical applications, the operation load of the CPU often changes, in the above-mentioned technology, the operation load of the CPU is in a state that is unchanged during the process of running a specific test program, so that the stability condition of the CPU during the practical application cannot be truly reflected, and therefore, the stability accuracy of the CPU measured in the conventional technology is not high.
Based on the above problems, in the method for testing the stability of the CPU provided in the embodiments of the present application, the target pressure measurement tool is invoked to perform pressure treatment on the CPU to be tested, and in the pressure process, the frequency of the CPU to be tested is adjusted based on each energy efficiency level of the CPU to be tested; acquiring test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level, wherein the test information comprises the actual working frequency and system log of the CPU to be tested; and determining a stability test result of the CPU to be tested according to the test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level. Under the pressurized state, the working frequency of the CPU to be tested is switched to different energy efficiency levels, so that frequency adjustment of the simulated CPU in response to actual operation load is realized, and in this case, the accuracy of the stability test result of the CPU to be tested is higher according to the test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level.
Next, an implementation environment related to the CPU stability test method provided in the embodiment of the present application will be briefly described.
As shown in fig. 1, a computer device, which may be a server or a terminal, is shown in fig. 1, and an internal structural diagram thereof may be as shown in fig. 1. The computer device includes a processor, a memory, and a network interface connected by a system bus. Wherein the processor of the computer device is configured to provide computing and control capabilities. The memory of the computer device includes a non-volatile storage medium and an internal memory. The non-volatile storage medium stores an operating system, computer programs, and a database. The internal memory provides an environment for the operation of the operating system and computer programs in the non-volatile storage media. The network interface of the computer device is used for communicating with an external terminal through a network connection. The computer program, when executed by a processor, implements a method for testing the stability of a CPU.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the structure shown in fig. 1 is merely a block diagram of some of the structures associated with the present application and is not limiting of the computer device to which the present application may be applied, and that a particular computer device may include more or fewer components than shown, or may combine certain components, or have a different arrangement of components.
Referring to fig. 2, a flowchart of a method for testing CPU stability according to an embodiment of the present application is shown, and as shown in fig. 2, the method for testing CPU stability may include the following steps:
step 201, the computer device invokes the target pressure measurement tool to perform pressure treatment on the CPU to be measured, and in the pressure process, the frequency of the CPU to be measured is sequentially adjusted to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level of the CPU to be measured.
The target pressure testing tool can be used for pressurizing the CPU to be tested, the target pressure testing tool comprises a testing program, and the computer equipment calls the computing capacity of the CPU by triggering the testing program included in the target pressure testing tool to run by the CPU to be tested.
In this embodiment of the present application, the CPU allows dynamic switching of the operating frequency, and different operating frequencies correspond to different energy efficiency states (english: performance States, abbreviated as P-states), where in practical application, the energy efficiency states P-states may include multiple energy efficiency levels, and different energy efficiency levels may be represented by P0-P5, for example. Wherein the determination of the different energy efficiency levels comprises the following: the computer device may obtain the frequency range of the CPU under test from the register of the CPU under test, for example the frequency range may be 800MHZ to 3.6GHZ. Then, the computer device may determine a plurality of energy efficiency levels of the CPU to be tested according to the frequency range, for example, equally dividing the frequency range according to a preset frequency step, where the frequency step may be, for example, 100MHZ or 200MHZ, and different energy efficiency levels correspond to different frequencies.
In the pressurizing process, the computer equipment can sequentially adjust the frequency of the CPU to be tested to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level. The computer equipment can call the inherent CPU power on the CPU to sequentially adjust the frequency of the CPU to be tested to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level.
After the frequency of the CPU is adjusted to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level, the pressure measurement tool still continuously pressurizes the CPU, and the working frequency of the CPU is adjusted to simulate the scene of adjusting the working frequency of the CPU under different operation loads, so that the pressure measurement tool is more in line with the actual working environment of the CPU.
Step 202, the computer device obtains test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level.
In this embodiment of the present application, when the frequency of the CPU is switched to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level, the CPU still executes the test program, and in this process, the actual operating frequency of the CPU is written into the register of the CPU. The operating system will record system operational information in a system log. The computer equipment can acquire test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level from a register of the CPU, wherein the test information comprises the actual working frequency and the system log of the CPU to be tested.
Optionally, the CPU may be a multi-core CPU, and the computer device may obtain an actual operating frequency of each CPU core of the CPU under each energy efficiency level from a register of the CPU.
In step 203, the computer device determines a stability test result of the CPU to be tested according to the test information corresponding to each energy efficiency level of the CPU to be tested.
In the embodiment of the application, if the target test information exists in the test information corresponding to each energy efficiency level, determining that the stability test result of the to-be-tested CPU does not pass, wherein the target test information is the test information of which the actual working frequency of the to-be-tested CPU is inconsistent with the standard operating frequency, or the test information of which the system log comprises error reporting information.
And if the target test information does not exist in the test information corresponding to each energy efficiency level, determining that the stability test result of the CPU to be tested passes.
According to the CPU stability testing method, the target pressure testing tool is called to conduct pressure treatment on the CPU to be tested, and in the pressure process, the frequency of the CPU to be tested is adjusted based on each energy efficiency level of the CPU to be tested; acquiring test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level, wherein the test information comprises the actual working frequency and system log of the CPU to be tested; and determining a stability test result of the CPU to be tested according to the test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level.
In one embodiment of the present application, as shown in FIG. 3, another CPU stability testing method is shown, comprising the steps of:
in step 301, the computer device obtains the model name of the CPU to be tested, determines a target pressure measurement tool according to the model name of the CPU to be tested, and automatically installs the target pressure measurement tool.
In this embodiment of the present application, the computer device may obtain, through an lscpu command, a model name of a CPU to be tested, where the model name of the CPU to be tested indicates a platform to which the CPU to be tested belongs, and the platform to which the CPU to be tested belongs may be Intel, AMD, hygon or another architecture platform, for example. The operating principle of the CPUs of different architecture platforms is not the same. Wherein, each architecture platform is configured with a dedicated pressure measurement tool for each designed CPU, for example: the pressure testing tool provided by Intel can be used for testing a CPU of which the platform belongs to Intel, but cannot be used for testing a CPU of which the platform belongs to AMD.
In the embodiment of the application, the pressure measurement tools provided by the plurality of architecture platforms are stored in advance, then the target pressure measurement tool provided by the platform to which the CPU to be tested belongs is found according to the model name of the CPU to be tested, and the target pressure measurement tool is automatically installed. Based on the above, the method for testing the stability of the CPU provided by the embodiment of the application can be suitable for testing the CPUs provided by different architecture platforms, and cross-platform application is realized.
Step 302, the computer device performs an initialization process on the CPU to be tested, and detects an initialization power state of the CPU to be tested, and if the initialization power state of the CPU to be tested is an idle state, invokes the target pressure measurement tool to perform a pressurization process on the CPU to be tested.
Before the stability test, the computer device may perform an initialization process on the CPU to be tested, where the process of the initialization process refers to closing the process that the CPU is executing, so that the CPU to be tested is in an idle state. Next, a brief description is given of the state of the CPU to be tested:
the CPU is typically provided with a variety of power states, with different power states corresponding to different power consumption. The various power states are collectively referred to as C-states. C-States starts from C0, C0 is the normal operating mode of the CPU, also called active state, and CPU is in 100% running state. The higher the number after C, the deeper the CPU sleeps, the more the CPU's power consumption is reduced, and more time is required to return to C0 mode. For example, the C-states of the CPU under test may include C0-C6, where C6 represents an idle state.
That is, after the initialization process is performed on the CPU to be tested, the power state of the CPU to be tested should be C6. Based on this, in the embodiment of the present application, it may be determined whether the CPU to be tested can be initialized normally by detecting the initialized power state of the CPU to be tested. If the initialized power state of the CPU to be tested is an idle state, the initialization is confirmed to be completed, and the computer equipment can call the target pressure measurement tool to carry out pressure treatment on the CPU to be tested.
If the initialized power state of the CPU to be tested is a non-idle state, indicating that the initialization fails, in this case, the computer equipment interrupts the test and generates initialized abnormality prompt information, wherein the initialized abnormality prompt information is used for indicating the initialized abnormality of the CPU.
In an alternative implementation, if the initialized power state of the CPU to be tested is a non-idle state, an initialization failure is described. The initialization power state of the CPU to be tested is a non-idle state, which indicates that the CPU to be tested is executing an application process, in this case, the computer device may acquire a current process being executed by the CPU to be tested, and detect an occupancy rate of the CPU of the current process, and if the occupancy rate of the CPU of the current process is greater than a preset occupancy rate threshold, or if a state duration time of the current process that the occupancy rate of the CPU of the current process is greater than the preset occupancy rate threshold exceeds a preset duration time, indicate that the current process is a cause of an initialization failure of the CPU to be tested, at this time, the computer device may acquire a name of the current process and a process identification number, where the process identification number is a unique identification number automatically allocated to the process when the process is created in an operating system. And generating initialization exception prompt information according to the name of the current process and the process identification number, wherein the initialization exception prompt information is used for indicating the CPU initialization exception.
After receiving the initialization exception reminding information, a user can acquire the name and the process identification number of the current process affecting the initialization failure, so that corresponding processing is performed, the reason for the initialization failure of the CPU to be tested can be rapidly solved, and therefore stability test is continued, and test efficiency is improved.
Step 303, the computer device invokes the target pressure measurement tool to perform pressure treatment on the CPU to be measured, and in the pressure process, detects the power state of the CPU to be measured, and if the power state of the CPU to be measured is an active state, sequentially adjusts the frequency of the CPU to be measured to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level of the CPU to be measured.
In the embodiment of the application, after the computer equipment calls the target pressure measurement tool to perform pressure treatment on the CPU to be measured, the computing capability of the CPU to be measured is called, and under the condition that the performance of the CPU to be measured is normal, the power state of the CPU to be measured is switched from an idle state to an active state.
If the power state of the CPU to be tested is the inactive state, the power state of the CPU to be tested is switched from the idle state to the active state, and the switching fails. In the case that there is an abnormality in the power state switching of the CPU under test, the computer device may generate test abnormality information for indicating that the CPU under test is abnormal.
If the power state of the CPU to be tested is an activated state, the power state of the CPU to be tested is successfully switched from an idle state to an activated state in a pressurized state, namely the CPU to be tested can be normally awakened from a deep sleep state. Under the condition that the CPU to be tested can be awakened normally, the computer equipment can sequentially adjust the frequency of the CPU to be tested to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level of the CPU to be tested so as to further detect the performance of the CPU to be tested.
The process of sequentially adjusting the frequency of the CPU to be tested to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level of the CPU to be tested by the computer equipment comprises the following steps:
for each energy efficiency level, the computer equipment sequentially adjusts the frequency of the CPU to be tested to the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level according to the sequence from high to low of the frequency corresponding to each energy efficiency level, and keeps a second preset duration under each energy efficiency level.
The energy efficiency level comprises, for example, P0-P2, where P0 corresponds to a frequency of 2000MHZ, P1 corresponds to a frequency of 1900mhz, and P2 corresponds to a frequency of 1800MHZ, in which case the computer device may adjust the frequency of the CPU under test to the P0 state and then hold in that state for a second preset period of time. After the second preset time period is maintained, the frequency of the CPU to be tested is adjusted from the P0 state to the P1 state, and then the second preset time period is maintained in the state. After the second preset time period is maintained, the frequency of the CPU to be tested is adjusted from the P1 state to the P2 state, and then the second preset time period is maintained in the state. Until all energy efficiency levels are traversed. Under each energy efficiency level, the CPU to be tested still runs the test program included in the pressure test tool, so that the actual working frequency of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level can be written in the register of the CPU periodically.
And step 304, the computer equipment acquires the test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level.
The test information comprises the actual working frequency of the CPU to be tested and a system log.
In this embodiment of the present application, when the frequency of the CPU to be tested is adjusted to the P0 state, and in the process of maintaining the second preset duration in the state, the register of the CPU is written into the actual operating frequency of the CPU once every fixed duration in the second preset duration. That is, the frequency of the CPU under test is in the P0 state, and the test information is written at different times. Correspondingly, in the embodiment of the application, the computer equipment can acquire a plurality of pieces of test information of the CPU to be tested under each energy efficiency level.
In the case that the CPU is a multi-core CPU, the computer device may acquire, from the register, a plurality of test information of each CPU core of the CPU to be tested at each energy efficiency level.
In step 305, the computer device stops performing the pressurization processing on the CPU to be tested, and after a first preset period of time, detects whether the power state of the CPU to be tested is changed from the activated state to the target power state, and obtains a detection result.
In this embodiment of the present application, after traversing all energy efficiency levels, the computer device may stop invoking the target pressure measurement tool to perform pressure processing on the CPU to be tested, so that the CPU to be tested changes from a loading state to an idle state, and the C-states of the CPU to be tested may also change, and if there is an abnormality in stability of the CPU to be tested, it may be shown that the switching of the C-states of the CPU to be tested is abnormal. In this embodiment of the present application, the timer is started after stopping the pressurization process, and after a first preset period of time elapses, the computer device may detect whether the power state of the CPU to be tested jumps from the active state to the target power state. If the computer equipment detects that the power state of the CPU to be tested is changed from the activated state C0 to the target power state, the state switching of the C-states of the CPU to be tested is normal, and in this case, the detection result is used for indicating that the power state of the CPU to be tested is normal.
If the computer equipment detects that the power state of the CPU to be tested is not changed from the activated state C0 to the target power state, the state switching abnormality of the C-states of the CPU to be tested is indicated, and in this case, the detection result indicates the power state switching abnormality of the CPU to be tested.
And step 306, the computer equipment determines the stability test result of the CPU to be tested according to the test result and the test information of each energy efficiency level corresponding to the CPU to be tested.
In this embodiment of the present application, if the detection result indicates that the power state of the CPU to be tested is abnormal, or there is target test information in the test information corresponding to each energy efficiency level, it is determined that the stability test result of the CPU to be tested fails, where the target test information is test information in which the actual operating frequency of the CPU to be tested is inconsistent with the standard operating frequency, or test information including error reporting information in the system log.
If the detection result is used for indicating that the power state of the CPU to be tested is switched normally and the target test information does not exist in the test information corresponding to each energy efficiency level, determining that the stability test result of the CPU to be tested passes.
In the embodiment of the application, the target pressure testing tool is determined according to the model name of the CPU to be tested, so that the method and the device can be suitable for testing the CPUs provided by different architecture platforms, and cross-platform application is realized. Further, through initialization processing, the initialization performance of the power state of the CPU to be tested is detected, under the condition that the initialization is normal, the power state is detected to be switched from the initialization state to the activation state, under the condition that the power state is normal, the energy efficiency states of the CPU to be tested are controlled to be respectively switched to different energy efficiency levels, and the second preset duration is kept under each energy efficiency level, so that the actual operation load is simulated. And then stopping pressurizing, and detecting whether the power state of the CPU to be tested can be switched from the activated state to the target power state, so that the CPU to be tested is tested at the same time of switching the power state and the energy efficiency state, and the accuracy of the test result is higher.
