A safety protection device for building engineering comprises a mounting frame (1) and is characterized in that the mounting frame (1) comprises a first mounting seat (101) and a second mounting seat (102), the first mounting seat (101) and the second mounting seat (102) are detachably connected, the outer walls of the first mounting seat (101) and the second mounting seat (102) are connected with lug plates (103) which are matched with each other, threaded holes are drilled in the outer walls of the two lug plates (103), bolts (104) are movably connected in the threaded holes, a cavity (5) is arranged between the first mounting seat (101) and the second mounting seat (102), the outer walls of two sides of the mounting frame (1) are connected with supporting rods (2), a first supporting plate (201) and a second supporting plate (202) are connected between the two supporting rods (2), the outer walls of the first supporting plate (201) and the second supporting plate (202) are connected with positioning rods (203), the outer wall of the supporting rod (2) is provided with a positioning hole (204) matched with the positioning rod (203), a rotating shaft (3) is rotatably connected in the first supporting plate (201) through a first bearing, the outer wall of the rotating shaft (3) is fixedly connected with a protective plate (4), the top of the rotating shaft (3) is connected with a pinion (301), the pinion (301) is rotationally connected in the cavity (5), the inner wall of the cavity (5) is connected with a first elastic element (501), one end of the first elastic element (501) far away from the inner wall of the cavity (5) is connected with a rack plate (502) which is meshed with the pinion (301), the rack plate (502) is connected in the cavity (5) in a sliding way, one end of the rotating shaft (3) far away from the pinion (301) is sleeved with an inserted bar (6), a limiting hole (2021) matched with the inserted link (6) is formed in the outer wall of the second supporting plate (202) in a chiseled mode;
the outer wall of the top of the rack plate (502) is connected with a sliding block (5021), and a sliding groove (5022) matched with the sliding block (5021) is formed in the inner wall of the first mounting seat (101) in a chiseled mode;

3. A safety shield apparatus for construction work according to claim 1, wherein a guide bar (302) is connected to an outer wall of the rotation shaft (3), and a guide groove (701) is bored in an inner wall of the moving pipe (7) to be engaged with the guide bar (302).
