背景技术
更加注重环保意识仍然是汽车皮革行业强劲的消费者主导市场驱动力,反过来又导致对最小化气味和挥发性有机化合物(VOC)的产品的需求增加。
汽车皮革饰面材料用面漆组合物表面处理,所述面漆组合物通常包含水性聚合物粘结剂、水分散性聚异氰酸酯交联剂、消光剂和任选地颜料和手感改性剂。在面漆组合物中气味和VOC的一个主要来源为多异氰酸酯交联剂。供应水分散性多异氰酸酯交联剂,其通常溶解在有机溶剂中,如3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯(EEP)。溶解在EEP中的水分散性聚异氰酸酯在施用前与水性聚合物粘结剂共混时可提供可接受的适用期,例如,所得涂料组合物在室温(20℃-25℃)下可使用约4小时。然而,EEP可引起强烈的令人不愉快的气味,并且导致VOC。一种可能的解决方案是用气味较小但仍被归类为VOC的替代溶剂(如碳酸亚丙酯)代替EEP。此外,使用碳酸亚丙酯可导致适用期缩短。
仍然需要适用于汽车皮革表面处理面漆的水性涂料组合物,与含EEP的涂料组合物相比,所述涂料组合物具有更少的气味和更低的VOC含量,并具有可接受的适用期。
发明内容
本发明提供适于制备皮革面漆的水性涂料组合物,其包含水性聚合物分散体、水分散性多异氰酸酯和特定的醚-酯化合物。与含EEP的涂料组合物相比,本发明的水性涂料组合物具有更少的气味和更低的VOC含量。水性涂料组合物还具有可接受的适用期,如由根据在下文实例部分中描述的测试方法的△粘度小于10秒指示。
在第一方面,本发明为水性涂料组合物,其包含,
(a)以水性涂料组合物的所述固体重量计,20固体重量%到80固体重量%的包含Tg小于0℃的聚合物的水性聚合物分散体;
(b)以水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,5固体重量%到50固体重量%的水分散性多异氰酸酯;
(c)溶剂,以所述溶剂的总重量计,其包含30重量%或更多的具有式(I)结构的醚-酯化合物,
其中R1表示氢或C1-C4烷基,R2表示氢或甲基,R3表示C1-C4烷基,并且n为1或2;和
其中以水分散性多异氰酸酯的固体重量计,溶剂的存在量为45重量%到300重量%;和
(d)以水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,2固体重量%到30固体重量%的消光剂。
在第二方面,本发明为制备第一方面的水性涂料组合物的方法。方法包含:
(i)提供水分散性多异氰酸酯在溶剂中的溶液,其中以溶剂的总重量计,溶剂包含30重量%或更多的具有式(I)结构的醚-酯化合物,
其中R1表示氢或C1-C4烷基,R2表示氢或甲基,R3表示C1-C4烷基,并且n为1或2;
其中以水分散性多异氰酸酯的固体重量计,溶剂的存在量为45重量%到300重量%;和
(ii)将水分散性多异氰酸酯溶液与包含Tg小于0℃的聚合物的水性聚合物分散体和消光剂混合,以形成水性涂料组合物;
其中以水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,水性涂料组合物包含5固体重量%到50固体重量%的水分散性多异氰酸酯、20固体重量%到80固体重量%的水性聚合物分散体,和2固体重量%到30固体重量%的消光剂。
具体实施方式
本发明中的“丙烯酸”包括(甲基)丙烯酸、(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯、(甲基)丙烯酰胺、(甲基)丙烯腈以及其改性形式,如(甲基)丙烯酸羟基烷基酯。在整篇文件中,词语片段“(甲基)丙烯酰基”是指“甲基丙烯酰基”和“丙烯酰基”。举例来说,(甲基)丙烯酸是指甲基丙烯酸和丙烯酸,并且(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯是指甲基丙烯酸甲酯和丙烯酸甲酯。
如本文所用,术语指定单体的结构单元(也被称为聚合单元)是指在聚合之后单体的残余物,或呈聚合形式的单体。举例来说,甲基丙烯酸甲酯的结构单元如下所示:

本文中的“水性”组合物或分散体是指分散在水性介质中的颗粒。本文中通过“水性介质”意指水和以介质的重量计,0到30重量%的(一种或多种)水可混溶化合物,例如醇、二元醇、二醇醚、二醇酯等。
本发明的水性涂料组合物包含用作交联剂的一种或多种水分散性多异氰酸酯。水分散性多异氰酸酯可包含多异氰酸酯和改性的多异氰酸酯,所述改性的多异氰酸酯包含至少一个阴离子基团、至少一个聚氧化乙烯链段,或阴离子基团和聚氧化乙烯链段两者。如本文所用,阴离子基团为带有负电荷的化学基团。负电荷可为-1、-2或-3。具有阴离子性基团的化合物与一种或多种阳离子缔合。缔合的阳离子可为金属阳离子或具有阳离子基团的有机化合物、具有+1、+2或+3价正电荷的基团。优选的阴离子基团为磺酸根、羧酸根、羧酸基、膦酸根或其混合物。如本文所用,本文中的多异氰酸酯是指异氰酸酯化合物的聚合物、异氰酸酯化合物的加合物或其混合物。本文中的加合物是指通过使至少一种异氰酸酯化合物与具有至少两个对异氰酸酯基具有反应性的氢原子的化合物反应制备的产物。适用于本发明的加合物可为异氰酸酯化合物与一种或多种多元醇(包括例如三羟甲基丙烷、丙二醇、二丙二醇和其混合物)的加合物。
适用于本发明的异氰酸酯化合物可包括脂肪族、环脂族或芳香族异氰酸酯化合物和其混合物。合适的脂肪族异氰酸酯化合物可包括例如具有5到20个碳原子的ω-亚烷基二异氰酸酯,如六亚甲基-1,6-二异氰酸酯(HDI)、1,12-十二烷二异氰酸酯、2,2,4-三甲基-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯、2,4,4-三甲基-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯、2-甲基-1,5-五亚甲基二异氰酸酯,其异构体和其混合物。合适的环脂族异氰酸酯化合物的实例包括二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯、1,4-环己烷二异氰酸酯、1,3-双-(异氰酸基甲基)环己烷,其异构体和其混合物。合适的芳香族异氰酸酯化合物的实例包括间四甲基二甲苯基二异氰酸酯、对四甲基二甲苯基二异氰酸酯、1,4-二甲苯基二异氰酸酯、1,3-二甲苯基二异氰酸酯、4,4'-二苯亚甲基二异氰酸酯、甲苯二异氰酸酯;其异构体;和其混合物。
适用于本发明的多异氰酸酯每分子可平均具有两个或更多个异氰酸酯(NCO)基,优选地两个到四个异氰酸酯基。多异氰酸酯通常包含5到60个碳原子、10到50个碳原子或15到40个碳原子。多异氰酸酯优选地为脂肪族或环脂族多异氰酸酯。更优选地,多异氰酸酯为六亚甲基二异氰酸酯均聚物、六亚甲基二异氰酸酯加合物、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯均聚物、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯加合物或其混合物。
适合的市售水分散性异氰酸酯可包括例如可购自科思创(Covestro)的基于六亚甲基二异氰酸酯的BAYHYDUR XP2655亲水性脂肪族多异氰酸酯。以水性涂料组合物的总固体重量计,在水性涂料组合物中的水分散性多异氰酸酯的存在量可为5固体重量(即,干重)%或更多、10固体重量%或更多、15固体重量%或更多、20固体重量%或更多、25固体重量%或更多,或甚至30固体重量%或更多,并且同时50固体重量%或更少、45固体重量%或更少、40固体重量%或更少,或甚至35固体重量%或更少。
本发明的水性涂料组合物另外包含一种或多种包含一种或多种具有式(I)的结构的醚-酯化合物的溶剂,

本发明的水性涂料组合物另外包含一种或多种包括丙烯酸聚合物分散体、聚氨基甲酸酯分散体、丙烯酸聚合物/聚氨基甲酸酯杂合分散体和其混合物的水性聚合物分散体。水性聚合物分散体可用作粘结剂。
可通过使一种或多种多元醇与一种或多种异氰酸酯化合物反应制备适用于本发明的聚氨基甲酸酯分散体。“多元醇”是指每分子具有两个或更多个羟基的任何产品。适用于制备聚氨基甲酸酯的多元醇可包括聚醚二醇、聚酯二醇、多官能多元醇和其混合物。多元醇可选自由以下组成的群组:聚醚多元醇、聚酯多元醇和聚碳酸酯多元醇。适用于制备聚氨基甲酸酯的聚醚多元醇可含有-C-O-C-基团。它们可通过使含有反应性氢原子的起始化合物(如水或二醇)与环氧烷(如环氧乙烷、环氧丙烷、环氧丁烷、环氧苯乙烷、四氢呋喃、表氯醇或其混合物)反应获得。优选的聚醚多元醇包括分子量为400到3,000的聚(丙二醇)、聚四氢呋喃和聚(乙二醇)与聚(丙二醇)的共聚物。适用于制备聚醚多元醇的二醇可包括亚烷基二醇,优选地乙二醇、二乙二醇和丁二醇,和其混合物。适用于制备聚氨基甲酸酯的聚酯多元醇通常为通过使有机聚羧酸或其酸酐与化学计算量过量的(一种或多种)二醇反应来制备的酯化产物。适用于制备聚氨基甲酸酯的合适的聚酯多元醇的实例包括聚(乙二醇己二酸酯)、聚(对苯二甲酸乙二酯)多元醇、聚己内酯多元醇、醇酸多元醇、邻苯二甲酸多元醇、磺化和膦酸化多元醇和其混合物。适用于制备聚酯多元醇的二醇包括上文对于制备聚醚多元醇描述的那些。适用于制备聚酯多元醇的合适的羧酸包括二羧酸和三羧酸和酸酐,例如马来酸、马来酸酐、琥珀酸、戊二酸、戊二酸酐、己二酸、辛二酸、庚二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、氯桥酸、1,2,4-丁烷-三羧酸、邻苯二甲酸邻苯二甲酸的异构体、邻苯二甲酸酐、富马酸、二聚脂肪酸,如油酸等,和其混合物。适用于制备聚酯多元醇的优选的多元羧酸包括脂肪族和芳香族二元酸。适用于制备聚氨基甲酸酯的异氰酸酯化合物可包括在上文水分散性多异氰酸酯部分中描述的那些。具体实例包括六亚甲基-1,6-二异氰酸酯、1,12-十二烷二异氰酸酯、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯和其混合物。

适用于本发明的水性聚合物分散体可为丙烯酸聚合物/聚氨基甲酸酯杂合分散体。杂合分散体可通过在存在聚氨基甲酸酯的情况下上文所描述的适用于制备丙烯酸聚合物的单体在水性介质中的乳液聚合制备,例如首先提供聚氨基甲酸酯,优选地聚氨基甲酸酯分散体,并且然后装载用于制备丙烯酸聚合物的单体并且使其聚合,由此获得杂合分散体。在丙烯酸聚合物/聚氨基甲酸酯杂合分散体中的聚氨基甲酸酯包括在上文聚氨基甲酸酯分散体部分中描述的那些。在丙烯酸聚合物/聚氨基甲酸酯杂合分散体中,聚氨基甲酸酯与丙烯酸聚合物的重量比可为20/80到99/1、35/65到75/25,或40/60到60/40。
丙烯酸聚合物分散体和/或丙烯酸聚合物/聚氨基甲酸酯杂合分散体可通过自由基聚合,优选地乳液聚合制备。适合于乳液聚合的温度可低于100℃、在15℃到95℃范围内或在30℃到90℃范围内。
在乳液聚合中,可使用自由基引发剂。乳液聚合方法可为热引发的或氧化还原引发的乳液聚合。合适的自由基引发剂的实例包括过氧化氢、叔丁基过氧化氢、过氧化氢异丙苯、过硫酸铵和/或碱金属过硫酸盐、过硼酸钠、过磷酸和其盐、高锰酸钾,和过二硫酸的铵或碱金属盐。以单体的总重量计,自由基引发剂通常可以0.01重量%到3.0重量%的水平使用。可在聚合方法中使用包含上文所描述引发剂外加合适的还原剂的氧化还原系统。适合的还原剂的实例包括甲醛次硫酸钠、抗坏血酸、异抗坏血酸、含硫的酸的碱金属盐和铵盐(如亚硫酸钠、亚硫酸氢盐、硫代硫酸盐、次硫酸盐、硫化物、硫氢化物或连二亚硫酸盐)、甲脒亚磺酸、羟甲基磺酸、丙酮亚硫酸氢盐、乙醇酸、乙醛酸水合物、乳酸、甘油酸、苹果酸、酒石酸和前述酸的盐。铁、铜、锰、银、铂、钒、镍、铬、钯或钴的金属盐可用于催化氧化还原反应。可任选地使用金属的螯合剂。
在乳液聚合中,可使用表面活性剂。表面活性剂可在单体聚合之前或期间或其组合添加。一部分表面活性剂也可在聚合之后添加。这些表面活性剂可包括阴离子和/或非离子乳化剂。合适的表面活性剂的实例包括烷基、芳基或烷基芳基硫酸酯、磺酸酯或磷酸酯的碱金属或铵盐;烷基磺酸;磺基琥珀酸盐;脂肪酸;可聚合表面活性剂;和乙氧基化醇或酚。以总单体计重量重量,使用的表面活性剂通常为0.1重量%到6重量%或0.3重量%到1.5重量%。
在乳液聚合中,可使用链转移剂。合适的链转移剂的实例包括3-巯基丙酸、十二烷基硫醇、3-巯基丙酸甲酯、3-巯基丙酸丁酯、苯硫酚、壬二酸烷基硫醇,或其混合物。链转移剂可以控制聚合物的分子量的有效量使用,例如,以单体的总重量计,0到2.5重量%、0.03重量%到1重量%,或0.05重量%到0.5重量%。
在完成聚合物的聚合之后,获得的聚合物分散体可通过一种或多种碱作为中和剂中和到例如至少6、6到10或7到9的pH值。碱可导致聚合物的离子或潜在离子基团的部分或完全中和。合适的碱的实例包括氨水;碱金属或碱土金属化合物,如氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾、氢氧化钙、氧化锌、氧化镁、碳酸钠;伯胺、仲胺和叔胺,如三乙胺、乙胺、丙胺、单异丙胺、单丁胺、己胺、乙醇胺、二乙胺、二甲胺、二正丙胺、三丁胺、三乙醇胺、二甲氧基乙胺、2-乙氧基乙胺、3-乙氧基丙胺、二甲基乙醇胺、二异丙醇胺、吗啉、乙二胺、2-二乙氨基乙胺、2,3-二氨基丙烷、1,2-丙二胺、新戊二胺、二甲基氨基丙胺、己二胺、4,9-二氧杂十二烷-1,12-二胺、聚乙烯亚胺或聚乙烯胺;氢氧化铝;和其混合物。
在水性聚合物分散体中的聚合物的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)可小于0℃,例如-100℃到0℃、-70℃到-5℃、-65℃到-10℃、-60℃到-15℃或-60℃到-20℃。本文报道的特定Tg值为根据ASTM D3418-12(2012)(通过差示扫描量热法进行聚合物的融合和结晶转变温度和焓的标准测试方法)通过差示扫描量热法(DSC)测量的那些。在装配有自动进样器的TAInstrument DSC Q2000上,在氮气氛围下,在敞口铝盘中分析5到10毫克(mg)样品。通过DSC的Tg测量在-90℃到150℃,20℃/min;2个循环下。使用半高法在第2循环中获得的拐折的中点处测量Tg。
在水性聚合物分散体中的聚合物颗粒的数均粒径可为30纳米(nm)或更大、40nm或更大、50nm或更大或甚至60nm或更大,并且同时,500nm或更小、300nm或更小、200nm或更小、150nm或更小,或甚至120nm或更小,如通过Brookhaven BI-90粒径分析仪测量。
以水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,本发明的水性涂料组合物可包含20固体重量%或更多、25固体重量%或更多、30固体重量%或更多或甚至35固体重量%或更多,并且同时80固体重量%或更少、70固体重量%或更少、60固体重量%或更少、50固体重量%或更少或甚至40固体重量%的水性聚合物分散体。
本发明的水性涂料组合物可另外包含一种或多种消光剂。本文中的“消光剂”是指提供消光效果的任何无机或有机颗粒。根据ASTM E2651-10(2010)粉末粒径分析的标准指南,通常消光剂的平均粒径为3.5微米或更大。适用于本发明的合适的消光剂可包括二氧化硅消光剂、聚脲消光剂、聚丙烯酸酯消光剂、聚乙烯消光剂、聚四氟乙烯消光剂和其混合物。优选的消光剂为二氧化硅消光剂、聚丙烯酸酯消光剂、聚脲消光剂和其混合物。适合的市售消光剂包括例如均可购自赢创(Evonik)的ACEMATT TS-100和OK520二氧化硅消光剂;可购自杜特兰(Deuteron)的DEUTERON MK聚脲消光剂、可购自格雷斯戴维森(Grace Davison)的SYLOID Silica 7000消光剂、可购自陶氏化学公司(The Dow Chemical Company)的基于聚丙烯酸酯的PARALOIDTM PRD 137B乳液(PARALOID为陶氏化学公司的商标);均可购自肯阿迪技术公司(Keim-Additec)的基于HDPE/塑料的ULTRALUBE D277乳液、基于褐煤/PE/塑料的ULTRALUBE D818乳液和基于PE/酯消光剂的ULTRALUBE D860乳液;和其混合物。以水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,消光剂存在量可为2固体重量%或更多、3固体重量%或更多、4固体重量%或更多或甚至5固体重量%或更多,并且同时30固体重量%或更少、25固体重量%或更少、20固体重量%或更少、15固体重量%或更少或甚至10固体重量%或更少。
本发明的水性涂料组合物可另外包含一种或多种增稠剂,也被称为“流变改性剂”。合适的增稠剂的实例包括碱可溶胀的乳液(ASE);疏水改性的碱可溶胀乳液(HASE);缔合增稠剂,如疏水改性的乙氧基化氨酯(HEUR);和纤维素增稠剂,如甲基纤维素醚、羟基甲基纤维素(HMC)、羟基乙基纤维素(HEC)、疏水改性的羟乙基纤维素(HMHEC)、羧甲基纤维素钠(SCMC)、羧基甲基2-羟乙基纤维素钠、2-羟丙基甲基纤维素、2-羟乙基甲基纤维素、2-羟丁基甲基纤维素、2-羟乙基乙基纤维素和2-羟丙基纤维素。优选的增稠剂为HEUR、HASE或ASE。以水性涂料组合物的总固体重量计,增稠剂的存在量可为0到7固体重量%、0.2固体重量%到6固体重量%、0.5固体重量%到5固体重量%或0.8固体重量%到4固体重量%。
本发明的水性涂料组合物还可包含一种或多种调平剂。“调平剂”是指使得能够涂料组合物更均匀地润湿基材并且减少表面缺陷的化学物质。合适的调平剂的实例包括聚二甲基硅氧烷、改性的聚二甲基硅氧烷、聚丙烯酸酯、碳氟化合物表面活性剂和其混合物。以涂料组合物的总固体重量计,调平剂可存在0到15重量%、0到10重量%、0.3重量%到7重量%、0.5重量%到6重量%或0.7重量%到5重量%。
本发明的水性涂料组合物还可包含一种或多种手感改性剂。“手感改性剂”是指添加到涂料配制物中目的为赋予由其制备的干燥膜令人愉快的手感的化学品。合适的手感改性剂的实例包括硅酮、蜡乳液、聚丙烯酸聚合物和其混合物。以涂料组合物的总固体重量计,手感改性剂可存在0到40固体重量%、2固体重量%到30固体重量%、4固体重量%到25固体重量%或6固体重量%到20固体重量%。

以涂料组合物的重量计,水性涂料组合物的固体含量可在10重量%到60重量%、15重量%到50重量%或25重量%到45重量%的范围内。
除上文所描述的组分之外,本发明的水性涂料组合物可另外包含以下添加剂中的任一种或组合:缓冲剂、中和剂、冻/融添加剂、保湿剂、防霉剂、杀生物剂、防结皮剂、着色剂、流动剂、抗氧化剂、塑化剂、触变剂、粘合促进剂和研磨媒剂。以水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,这些添加剂可以0到10固体重量%、0.3固体重量%到5固体重量%或0.5固体重量%到3固体重量%的组合量存在。
本发明的水性涂料组合物可通过以下制备:提供在溶剂中的水分散性多异氰酸酯的溶液,其可通过将水分散性多异氰酸酯溶解在溶剂中制备;将所得的水分散性多异氰酸酯溶液、水性聚合物分散体和消光剂混合以形成水性涂料组合物。可以任何顺序将水性涂料组合物中的组分混合以提供本发明的水性涂料组合物。还可将上述任选的组分中的任一种在混合期间或之前添加到组合物,以形成水性涂料组合物。
与含EEP的涂料组合物相比,本发明的水性涂料组合物具有更低的VOC含量和更少的气味。水性涂料组合物可具有100克(g)或更少的VOC每升(L)所述水性涂料组合物、50g/L或更少、30g/L或更少,或甚至10g/L或更少,如通过GB 18582-2008(室内装饰和装修材料标准-内部建筑涂料的有害物质限值)(中国)测量。水性涂料组合物还具有与含EEP的涂料组合物相当的可接受的适用期,例如,如由△粘度小于10秒、小于9秒或甚至小于8秒所指示,如根据在下文实例部分中描述的测试方法测量。与含丙二醇二乙酸酯(PGDA)使涂料组合物相比,水性涂料组合物还可提供相当的特性,包括例如bally柔韧性、湿摩擦坚牢度和/或Gakushin擦坚牢度,根据在下文实例部分中描述测试方法。

在实例中使用以下标准分析设备和方法。
适用期
水分散性多异氰酸酯(100%固体)溶解在不同溶剂中以形成具有不同固体含量的交联剂溶液。然后每种交联剂溶液与除了ACRYSOL RM-819增稠剂以外的在涂料组合物中的其它组分混合以形成混合物。
然后,将ACRYSOL RM-819增稠剂作为增稠剂添加到混合物,其量为将所得涂料组合物的粘度调节到理想地20~21秒。通过使用Zahn2#粘度杯以秒为单位测量粘度。在形成涂料组合物之后二十分钟和210分钟,将粘度分别记录为初始和最终粘度。在初始粘度和最终粘度之间的△粘度用于评估适用期。最大可接受△粘度为10秒。否则,如果涂料组合物胶凝或△粘度大于10秒,那么涂料组合物具有差的适用期。粘度改变越高表示适用期越短。
气味评估
根据嗅觉进行气味评估。对于每个样品,为八位气味小组成员分别提供每种溶剂样品的“盲”样品,并且然后闻样品。小组成员按照1到3的等级评分,其中1代表强烈气味,2代表中等气味,并且3代表低气味。气味等级通过平均所有小组成员给出的分数来确定。气味等级为2.0或更高为可接受的,或代表低气味。等级越高表示气味越少。
光泽度
使用光泽度仪(BYK Gardner USA MICRO-TRI-GLOSS仪,目录号4520)测量皮革表面的光泽度(60°)。最大可接受光泽度(60°)为1.5。
Bally柔韧性
根据ASTM D6182-00(2010)(表面处理的皮革的柔韧性和粘附性的标准测试方法)测量Bally柔韧性,所述方法在引用的循环次数和温度下反复弯曲皮革标本,具体来说,分别在20℃下循环100,000次,在-10℃下循环30,000次。在弯曲之后,使用立体镜(10×放大倍数)评估皮革以评估对涂饰层的损坏。涂饰层示出没有开裂或白色裂纹被评定为“合格”。否则,开裂或白色裂纹被评定为“不合格”。
湿摩擦坚牢度测试
润摩擦坚牢度根据ASTM D 5053-03(2009)(耐摩擦皮革的色牢度的标准测试方法)确定。使用摩擦坚牢度(Satra Footware技术中心型号STM421)进行润摩擦坚牢度测试。从表面处理的外皮中取出11.5cm×3.5cm的样片。为了确定表面涂层皮革的涂饰层坚牢度,将1.5cm×1.5cm的毛毡摩擦垫用水浸透,并放在设备摩擦头上(摩擦头的总重量为1千克)。为了完成测试,将皮革样片插入摩擦坚牢度测试仪中并再拉伸10%,将水饱和的毛毡垫施用到表面处理的表面,分别完成1,000次摩擦循环和2,000次摩擦循环。通过将其与对照毛毡垫(未使用的毛毡垫)进行比较,目测评估整涂饰层的损坏,并目测评估用于测试的毛毡垫的颜料转移。使用灰度图评估毛毡垫之间的色差。
Gakushin测试方法
如下进行Gakushin测试:将研磨布(#6导管布)固定到压板并且将一条皮革固定到头部。将布和皮革接触在一起,并且现场将皮革上方的总头部重量设置为1千克(kg)。启动测试,并且以30循环每分钟的速率来回移动压板,使得导管布能够在施用的1kg压力下在皮革样片的表面上摩擦。当皮革涂层被磨损到可见赤褐色的程度或20,000个循环(以先到者为准)时,测试完成。记录测试循环数,其中8,000个循环或更多被评定为“合格”,并且少于8,000个循环被评定为“不合格”。
涂料组合物
基于在表1中给出的配方制备涂料组合物。将水分散性多异氰酸酯和溶剂混合在一起并搅拌几分钟以首先形成透明的交联剂溶液。在搅动(200转/分钟(rpm))下将除了ACRYSOL RM-819增稠剂和交联剂溶液以外的在表1中列出的其它材料依次添加到容器中。然后在搅动(200rpm)下将交联剂溶液添加到容器以形成混合物。然后将ACRYSOL RM-819增稠剂添加到混合物以调节粘度,理想地目标为20~21秒,如通过使用Zahn2#粘度杯测量,由此形成涂料组合物。根据上文所描述的测试方法评估这些涂料组合物并且在表1和2中给出特性。
如表1所示,以总溶剂的重量计,不包含BCB的涂料组合物(比较实例A和B)或仅含有25重量%的BCB(比较实例C)均展示差的适用期,如通过示出凝胶或△粘度高于10秒所指示。包含固体含量分别为70%和75%的在BCB中的水分散性多异氰酸酯的溶液的比较实例D和E的涂料组合物均示出不合期望地短适用期。相比之下,实例1-4的涂料组合物均出人意料地表现出长的多的适用期,如由△粘度小于10秒所指示。
此外,气味评估结果示出EEP、BCB、PGDA和PC的气味等级分别为1.5、2.9、1.9和2.5。EEP、PGDA、PC和BCB的沸点分别为170℃、191℃、240℃和292℃。这表明,与添加EEP、PGDA或PC相比,向涂料组合物中添加BCB产生的气味更少并且VOC含量更低。

根据上文所描述的测试方法进一步评估实例2的水性涂料组合物。如在表2中所示,实例2的水性涂料组合物还提供用于皮革应用的可接受的特性。

Claims (10)
2.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其中所述水性聚合物分散体为丙烯酸聚合物分散体、聚氨基甲酸酯分散体、丙烯酸聚合物/聚氨酯杂合分散体或其混合物。
3.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其中所述醚-酯化合物选自由以下组成的组:苯甲酸2-丁氧基乙酯、苯甲酸2-丙氧基乙酯、苯甲酸2-乙氧基乙酯、甲苯甲酸2-乙氧基乙酯、甲苯甲酸2-丙氧基乙酯和甲苯甲酸2-丁氧基乙酯。
4.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其中将所述水分散性多异氰酸酯溶解在所述溶剂中以形成溶液,然后与所述水性聚合物分散体和所述消光剂混合。
5.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其中以所述水分散性多异氰酸酯的固体重量计,所述溶剂的存在量为50重量%到150重量%。
6.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其中以所述溶剂的总重量计,所述溶剂包含40重量%到100重量%的所述醚-酯化合物。
7.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其中所述水分散性多异氰酸酯包含六亚甲基二异氰酸酯的均聚物。
8.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其以所述水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,包含15固体重量%到35固体重量%的所述水分散性多异氰酸酯。
9.根据权利要求1所述的水性涂料组合物,其另外包含调平剂、手感改性剂、增稠剂、颜料或其混合物。
10.一种制备水性涂料组合物的方法,其包含:
(i)提供水分散性多异氰酸酯在溶剂中的溶液,其中以所述溶剂的总重量计,所述溶剂包含40重量%或更多的具有所述式(I)结构的醚-酯化合物,
其中R1表示氢或C1-C4烷基,R2表示氢或甲基,R3表示C1-C4烷基,并且n为1或2;
其中以所述水分散性多异氰酸酯的固体重量计,所述溶剂的存在量为50重量%到300重量%;和
(ii)将所述水分散性多异氰酸酯溶液与包含Tg小于0℃的聚合物的水性聚合物分散体和消光剂混合,以形成所述水性涂料组合物;
其中以所述水性涂料组合物的固体重量计,所述水性涂料组合物包含5固体重量%到50固体重量%的所述水分散性多异氰酸酯、20固体重量%到80固体重量%的所述水性聚合物分散体,和2固体重量%到30固体重量%的所述消光剂。
