The apparatus for assisting defecation of a critically ill patient for medical use according to claim 3, wherein: the fixing mechanism (5) comprises a bottom rod (51), a sliding sleeve (52), an upper gear (53), a lower gear (54) and an operation opening (55), the two side surfaces of the supporting plate (11) are oppositely provided with the operation openings (55) which are in rectangular structures, the two mounting shafts (29) respectively extend to the inner parts of the two operation openings (55), the bottom rods (51) in a hexagonal prism structure are welded at the bottoms of the two mounting shafts (29), the two sliding sleeves (52) are respectively connected to the side walls of the two bottom rods (51) in a sliding manner, the bottoms of the two sliding sleeves (52) are welded with the upper gears (53) which are connected with the bottom rods (51) in a sliding way, two lower gears (54) positioned at the bottom of the upper gear (53) are welded in the supporting plate (11), and the upper gear (53) is meshed with the lower gears (54).
