In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention more clearly apparent, the embodiments of the present invention are described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and the embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the embodiments of the invention and are not intended to limit the embodiments of the invention.
In the following, the terms "first", "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be understood as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. Thus, a feature defined as "first" or "second" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of that feature. In the description of the present embodiment, "a plurality" means two or more unless otherwise specified. In order to facilitate understanding of the technical solutions and the technical effects thereof described in the embodiments of the present invention, the embodiments of the present invention first explain related terms:
the compound machine: the device with the printing function and the communication function in the embodiment of the invention is called a compound machine. The embodiment of the present invention is not limited to other functions of the multifunction peripheral, and may have a plurality of functions such as scanning and copying. The printer in the embodiment of the present invention may also be understood as a complex machine.
The term "logic" in this embodiment includes any physical and tangible functions for performing a task. For example, each operation illustrated in the flowcharts corresponds to a logical component for performing the operation. Operations may be performed using, for example, software running on a computer device, hardware (e.g., chip-implemented logic functions), etc., and/or any combination thereof. When implemented by a computing device, the logical components represent electrical components that are physical parts of the computer system, regardless of the manner in which they are implemented.
In the prior art, an emergency processing method for a printing system is absent, if a communication connection between a printing client and a printing server is in a problem or the printing server is in a failure, a user can only select a target printer, take off the management of the target printer and install a driver corresponding to the target printer, the driver independently drives the target printer to complete a printing task, and wait until the communication connection between the printing client and the printing server is recovered to be normal or the printing server recovers to work, the target printer needs to be added into the printing system again, and the behavior of the target printer in the time period is irrelevant to the printing system, so the current printer service manufacturer can only operate the operation, and the operation has the following significant disadvantages:
first, the operation is complicated, requiring selection of a target printer, disconnection of the target printer, and possibly installation of a temporary drive by the user. This process is relatively complex.
Second, security is low, user authentication cannot be performed once the target printer is taken off-line without being controlled by the printing system, and its behavior is not recorded.
Third, the process is slow because each operation requires manual intervention and may involve reloading the drive.
Fourthly, unfriendly, in this operation mode, the user needs to switch back to the driver of the direct connection target printer or the driver of the installation target printer from the original system driver, and after the failure is recovered, the driver of the printing system needs to be switched back, and the driver of the target printer is deleted, so as to prevent the situation that the user cannot get out of the task due to the use of the wrong driver, which is not friendly to the user.
Obviously, the emergency processing method of the printing system in the prior art has many disadvantages, and in order to reduce the use frequency of the emergency processing method, only the robustness of the printing system can be continuously enhanced, and the failure probability of the printing server is reduced, or the occurrence frequency of the communication connection failure between the printing client and the printing server is reduced. Therefore, the prior art further studies a high-availability scheme, which is a scheme for improving the robustness of the printing system through redundant configuration, and the redundant configuration of the printing server enables a standby printing server to be used to maintain the normal operation of the printing system when a fault occurs, which obviously increases the cost significantly and cannot fundamentally prevent the fault from occurring.
In order to solve the technical problems of complex operation, low safety, slow process and unfriendly user experience of the printing system emergency processing method in the prior art, the embodiment of the invention provides an emergency printing method.
The method is applied to a printing system, the printing system comprises a printing server 01, at least one printing client 03 and at least one printer 05, a first driving assembly is installed in the printing client 03, a second driving assembly is installed in the printer 05, and the first driving assembly and the second driving assembly are in communication connection with the printing server 01 in a normal state. In the embodiment of the present invention, the normal state refers to a state in which the print server is in a normal operating state and is capable of responding to the first driving component and the second driving component.
Wherein the first drive assembly executes different printing logic in a normal state and an abnormal state; the second drive assembly executes different printing logic in a normal state and an abnormal state.
An embodiment of the present invention provides an emergency printing method, as shown in fig. 3, where the method uses the printing system as an implementation main body, and includes:
s101, a first driving assembly of the printing client receives data to be printed.
And S102, the first driving assembly interacts with a printing server to obtain the current printing system state.
Specifically, the current printing system state is a normal state or an abnormal state, and the normal state and the abnormal state are defined as described above.
S103, if the current printing system state is an abnormal state, the first driving assembly determines a target printer.
Specifically, the determining the target printer includes: and displaying a printer list, and determining the selected printer in the printer list as a target printer.
Specifically, the printer list may be generated according to the latest usage record of the printer by the user, the printer list may be determined according to a preset candidate printer set, the printer list may be determined for an available printer according to the latest updated state of the printer server, or the printer list may be generated according to the latest updated history print record of the printer server.
And S104, generating a printing task by the first driving assembly according to the target printer and the data to be printed, wherein the printing task comprises the identity information of the printing client, the attribute information of the printing task and the data to be printed.
In one embodiment, different printers may have different authentication protocols for the identity information of the user, and correspondingly, the generation modes of the identity information of the printing client are different; the print job attribute information may include a print job identification and/or a print job summary description.
In one embodiment, the generating a print job according to the target printer and the data to be printed, as shown in fig. 4, includes:
s1041, determining an identity authentication protocol of the target printer according to the target printer;
s1042, generating identity information of a printing client according to the identity authentication protocol;
s1043, generating printing task attribute information;
and S1044, generating a printing task according to the identity information of the printing client, the attribute information of the printing task and the data to be printed.
S105, the first driving component sends the printing task to a second driving component in the target printer, so that the second driving component stores the printing task in a storage space of the second driving component.
Different from the prior art, the target printer does not need to be taken off line from the printing system in the embodiment of the invention, and the reason is that the printing task comprises the identity information of the printing client, in the subsequent process, the target printing server can identify whether the user who starts the printing task before has the starting authority according to the identity information of the printing client, and the driver in the printer in the prior art does not have the identification capability and only can depend on the interaction of the server, so that the printer does not receive the printing task from the printing client in the non-off-line state after the server is down.
S106, if the current printing system state is an abnormal state, the second driving assembly receives card swiping information, and printing client identity information corresponding to the card swiping information is matched according to the card swiping information.
Specifically, the second driving component locally maintains an information matching mapping table, the mapping table records a mapping relationship between card swiping information and printing client identity information, the card swiping information may be card number information, and the client identity information may be one or a combination of a user name, a password, and a password, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present invention. The information matching mapping table can be synchronously updated by the printing server when the current printing system is in a normal state.
In one embodiment, if the current printing system state is an abnormal state, the second driving component switches the screen of the target printer to a fault state, and the screen only displays card swiping prompt information in the fault state. In other words, in a fault state, the target printer does not accept other operations of the user, and only accepts the card swiping information of the user, so that the safety of the target printer is further improved, and illegal operation intrusion is avoided to the maximum extent under the condition that the printing server cannot monitor in time.
The user swipes the card on the target printer, so that the target printer receives the card swiping information.
And S107, if the matching is successful, executing the printing task corresponding to the identity information of the printing client.
In an embodiment, there may be a plurality of print jobs corresponding to the print client identity information, and the target print server may finish each print job at one time, or may determine and execute one print job only according to a preset rule, that is, execute one print job once per card swiping, and execute a plurality of print jobs requires a user to swipe cards for a plurality of times.
In an embodiment, after the execution of the print task is completed, the second driving component generates a print log, and after the current printing system is switched to a normal state, the print log is uploaded to the print server, so that the print server stores and manages the print log, or further transmits the print log to the first driving component corresponding to the print client.
Specifically, the print log may include print client identification information, print time, printer information, the number of printed sheets, and the like.
As shown in fig. 5, which shows a schematic diagram of the emergency printing method, a user prints on a terminal (the terminal is a printing client installed with a first printing component), the terminal and a printing server perform interaction failure to determine that a current printing state is an abnormal state, at this time, the terminal may pop up a printer list, select a target printer by the user, generate a printing task based on the target printer, send the printing task to the target printer, and the user can take a print file by swiping a card on the target printer.
When the printing system is switched to a normal state, a normal printing process may be performed, the normal printing process including:
s201, a first driving assembly of the printing client receives data to be printed and interacts with a printing server to obtain the current printing system state.
S202, if the current printing system state is a normal state, generating a printing task.
S203, the target printer obtains card swiping information and sends the card swiping information to the printing server.
In one embodiment, if the current printing system state is a normal state, the second driver component of the target printer triggers the target printer to present a screen locking interface, so as to prevent an illegal user from illegally using the target printer.
And S204, the printing server performs user authentication according to the card swiping information and the printing task, and triggers the target printer to execute the printing task after the authentication is passed.
In one embodiment, after the authentication is passed, the second driving component of the target printer may display the print job of the user, receive a selection result of the user for the print job, and execute the print job pointed to by the selection result through interaction with the print server.
As shown in fig. 6, which shows a schematic diagram of a normal printing flow, a user initiates printing on his terminal, a print job is transmitted to a print server, then the user goes to a target printer for card swiping authentication, then the server sends the print job to the target printer for card swiping (authentication) by the user, and the printer for card swiping by the user becomes the target printer.
In one embodiment, the print server also generates a print log accordingly.
The emergency printing method in the embodiment of the invention can be implemented by a printing system, the printing system supports distributed deployment, and different printing servers can be deployed at different places under the condition of distributed deployment, so that various printing services such as roaming printing, nearby printing and the like are supported under a normal state. The embodiment of the invention provides an emergency printing method in an abnormal state, which aims to create a mode through technical means, and the printer can execute different modes of authentication and releasing tasks according to whether the printer can be connected with a printing server at present. Some advanced system features (e.g., print roaming, etc. functions) may be abandoned in the event of a print server or network failure to achieve the ability to still allow the user to use the printer. Therefore, the emergency printing can be executed with higher safety without manual intervention or offline of the printing server, the automation degree and the safety degree of the emergency printing function are obviously improved, the redundant resources which have to be configured by the printing system are favorably reduced, and the hardware cost is further reduced.
The embodiment of the invention can enable the printing system to provide printing service for enterprises at lower cost, reduce the investment of hardware resources such as redundant backup and the like, quickly provide printing service for users in an emergency state without additional processing of the users, reduce the anxiety of the enterprises and improve the user experience. As long as the printing client side can communicate with the printer, the printing function can be used, so that the pressure of repairing the printing system is reduced, the normal printing is guaranteed, and the method has a wide application prospect.
An embodiment of the present invention provides an emergency printing method, as shown in fig. 7, where the method uses a first driving component of a print client as an implementation subject, and includes:
s301, receiving data to be printed.
