Abstract

The invention provides a distributed printing auditing system and an auditing method, wherein when a terminal cannot be in communication connection with a server, the terminal searches and logs in a terminal ip address and account information with an approval authority account from a routing table; and sending the printing request to a terminal logged in by an account with the approval authority for auditing, executing printing by a printer after the auditing is passed, and recording a log. Under the condition of network disconnection, all the clients automatically use the network bandwidth which is as small as possible to realize networking and mutual connection, and recover most of the functions of printing audit by using various printing audit strategies acquired from the server before network disconnection. After the server goes offline, the printer can still log. And when the server recovers the communication connection, the printing initiating terminal sends the generated printing log and the snapshot to the server. The inspection of past printing records can be realized. The risk that the global printing process is controlled by one server independently and printing cannot be carried out if the network is disconnected is avoided.

The block diagrams shown in the figures are functional entities only and do not necessarily correspond to physically separate entities. I.e. these functional entities may be implemented in the form of software, or in one or more hardware modules or integrated circuits, or in different networks and/or processor means and/or microcontroller means.
In the several embodiments provided in the present application, it should be understood that the disclosed system, apparatus and method may be implemented in other ways. For example, the above-described apparatus embodiments are merely illustrative, and for example, the division of the units is only one logical division, and other divisions may be realized in practice, for example, a plurality of units or components may be combined or integrated into another system, or some features may be omitted, or not executed. In addition, the shown or discussed mutual coupling or direct coupling or communication connection may be an indirect coupling or communication connection through some interfaces, devices or units, and may also be an electric, mechanical or other form of connection.
The present invention provides a distributed printing auditing system, as shown in fig. 1, including: a server 1, a plurality of terminals 2, and a printer 3;
each terminal 2 is connected with the server 1 through a network; the server 1 and the terminal 2 are connected with a printer 3 through a network or a USB data line; the server 1 is used for auditing the printing request made by each terminal 2; and after the approval pass request, sending the printing request and the information to be printed to the printer 3, and sending the terminal 2 to the printer 3, wherein the printer 3 executes printing and records a printing log.
According to the configuration condition of the switch or the router, the computers in the same multicast domain are distributed with the same multicast address. The terminal 2 is configured with a file storage processing module for storing the routing table and the received and transmitted data. The routing table stores the IP address and account information of each terminal 2 currently in each multicast group; the terminal 2 downloads the routing table from the server 1 regularly and updates the routing table of the terminal to obtain the latest information of each terminal 2;
when a terminal 2 is started and logs in an account, the terminal firstly joins a multicast group with a preset multicast address and checks whether the terminal can be connected to the server 1; if yes, updating the routing table on the server 1; if not, the IP address and the account information of the terminal are sent to the multicast address periodically, and after each terminal 2 receives the IP address and the account information, the routing table of the terminal is updated;
when the terminal 2 cannot be in communication connection with the server 1, the terminal 2 searches ip addresses of all terminals 2 logging in the approval authority accounts from the routing table; and sending the printing request to the terminal 2 for auditing, executing printing through the printer 3 after the auditing is passed, and recording a log.
That is, the terminal 2 configures the received multicast address and account information of the terminal 2 into the routing table, and stores the routing table into the file storage processing module; the file storage processing module is used for storing and transmitting data to be printed and the snapshot; when the terminal 2 cannot be in communication connection with the server 1, namely the server 1 is offline, or the network connection of the server 1 in the system is disconnected, or the server 1 cannot be connected into the system due to some other reasons, so that the terminal 2 cannot be in communication connection with the server 1, and the terminal 2 searches and logs in the ip address and the account information of the terminal 2 with the approval authority account from the routing table; and sending the printing request to a terminal 2 logged in with an approval authority account for auditing, executing printing through a printer 3 after the auditing is passed, and recording a log. When the server 1 resumes the communication connection, the print initiation terminal 2 sends the generated print log and snapshot to the server 1.
All terminals 2 can uniformly join the multicast group of the preset ip no matter whether the terminals can access the server 1 or not. And sends a datagram to the multicast ip at a frequency of 1 time per minute, the datagram including the current terminal 2 login account id. The multicast occupies smaller bandwidth, and avoids forming broadcast storm.
It will be appreciated that in the present invention, the printer may be connected to one or more terminals 2 in the system. The server 1 is connected with the printer, the terminal 2 connected with the printer receives the printing instruction sent by other terminals 2 needing to be printed, acquires various parameters of the printer of each terminal 2, and transmits the parameters to the server 1 after printing is finished. The printer of the server 1 itself is also scanned and the printing program is executed.
The approval authority of the server 1 can use the kernel level hook to audit the print job. The server 1 and the terminal 2 logged in the account with the approval authority respectively audit the printing authority, the printing content and the printing time interval of the printing initiator.
The server 1 and the terminal 2 logged in the account with the approval authority can also adopt a single-stage approval mode and a multi-stage approval mode, wherein the single-stage approval mode refers to that one task is approved and approved by one person in a designated group and can be printed, and the multi-stage approval mode refers to that a plurality of single-stage approvals are overlapped and can be printed only after the sequential approvals are passed.
After printing, a print log is formed, and print records of different terminals 2 are recorded, including a print account id, a print time, a file name, a printer name, a security level, a snapshot, and the like.
The process of executing printing is that the user opens a text/image editing software (such as word) to execute printing, selects the assigned virtual printer, and executes printing. The print request and the data to be printed are sent to the server 1 and enter the approval process. After receiving the approval passing request, the server 1 sends the printing request and the request to be printed to the terminal 2 where the real printer is located, and the printing auditing client on the terminal 2 directly sends the data to be printed to the real printer to complete printing and record logs.
The terminal 2 implements the method and apparatus of the present invention in a number of ways. For example, the methods and apparatus of the present invention may be implemented by software, hardware, firmware, or any combination of software, hardware, and firmware. The above-described order for the steps of the method is for illustrative purposes only, and the steps of the method of the present invention are not limited to the order specifically described above unless specifically indicated otherwise. Furthermore, in some embodiments, the present invention may also be embodied as a program recorded in a recording medium, the program including machine-readable instructions for implementing a method according to the present invention. Thus, the present invention also covers a recording medium storing a program for executing the method according to the present invention.
The server 1 within the present invention is also used to configure the multicast address and account information of each terminal 2. And configuring the terminal 2 with the approval authority in the system, and sending the multicast address and the account information of the terminal 2 with the approval authority to other terminals 2. These are all the rights contents that the server 1 has.
The invention also provides a distributed printing auditing method, as shown in fig. 2, the method comprises:
s1, when the terminal is on line, the terminal is in communication connection with the server;
s2, the terminal sends the printing request and the data to be printed to the server;
s3, the server checks the printing request sent by the terminal;
s4, after the approval pass request, sending the printing request and the information to be printed to a printer, and the printer executes printing and records a printing log;
s5, the print log is uploaded to the server.
In the method, each terminal, the server and the printer of the system can keep normal connection. The terminal searches and logs in the ip address and the account information of the terminal with the approval authority account from the routing table;
sending a printing request to a terminal which logs in an account with an approval authority for auditing, executing printing through a printer after the auditing is passed, and recording a log;
if the terminal with the approval authority account number is not logged in the routing table, the printing operation is stopped, and printing is performed when the server is on line again or the terminal with the approval authority account number is logged in the system.
If the terminal with the approval authority account number is logged in the network, the terminal with the approval authority account number is logged in for auditing, and after the auditing is passed, the terminal searches whether the terminal where the printer is located is on line in a routing table;
if the terminal where the printer is located is on line, the printing request and the information to be printed are directly sent to the terminal;
and the terminal where the printer is located executes printing, after the printing is successful, the printing result is returned to the initiating terminal, and a printing log is generated at the printing initiating terminal for checking.
In the method, the system needs to configure the multicast address of each terminal by a server; the server allocates the printer to a specified account; the printing initiating terminal searches the terminal through the ip address appointed by the printer; communication is established with a terminal connected to a printer, and a print job is performed.
In order to prevent the server from being offline or unable to print due to the fact that the server is disconnected, the server configures an approval authority for an account in the system, and the account can log in any terminal to execute approval.
Based on the method and the system, when the terminal is on line, the terminal keeps data synchronization with the server, and encrypts and stores information such as account numbers, security levels, printer distribution (including printer names, security levels, the terminal ip where the terminal is located, and the like), examination and approval processes (single-stage examination and approval/multi-stage examination and approval) and the like in the terminal.
All terminals are provided with a file storage processing module for storing and transmitting data to be printed and snapshots.
And if the terminal cannot be connected with the server, detecting whether a printer allocated to the current terminal login account exists in the routing table, and if so, enabling the printer.
After the printing is submitted, the task is placed in the local area to wait for approval, if the terminal with the authority of logging in the approval account terminal exists in the routing table, an approval request is sent to the terminals, the terminals approve whether the file can be printed or not, and the snapshot in the local file server can be pulled to check specific printing content. Once a request for passing the examination and approval sent by any terminal logged in by the account with the right of examination and approval is received, the routing table is checked again to secondarily confirm whether the terminal where the real printer is located is on line or not. If the printing request is online, the printing request is directly sent to the terminal, the terminal pulls the data to be printed from the file server of the printing initiator and executes printing, after the printing is successful, the printing result is returned to the initiating terminal, and a printing log is generated at the printing initiating terminal for checking. The logs and snapshots are automatically uploaded after the server is online.
Of course, in the application, multi-level approval can be executed, and when the approval process is over half, the process can be correctly processed no matter the networking state is changed into the offline state or the networking state is recovered from the offline state.
The technical scheme has the advantages that: the printer can be switched at will under a severe network, and can print as long as the computer to which the printer is allocated can be accessed no matter whether the server can be accessed or not. The switching is flexible, and if the network fluctuates frequently, such as 10 seconds of line dropping, the printing can be executed correctly. After the server is connected, the printing logs and the snapshots can be tried to be uploaded, and after the uploading is finished, the server can log in the management terminal to normally check the printing logs and the snapshots, so that the use is not influenced.
The previous description of the disclosed embodiments is provided to enable any person skilled in the art to make or use the present invention. Various modifications to these embodiments will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the generic principles defined herein may be applied to other embodiments without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention. Thus, the present invention is not intended to be limited to the embodiments shown herein but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and novel features disclosed herein.
