Description

Medical bed for preventing bedsore
Technical Field
The invention mainly relates to a physiotherapy bed for preventing bedsore, in particular to an automatic bed which can automatically identify the lying position and lying posture of a patient, automatically turn the patient to the right or left side, automatically identify the lying posture of the patient and then turn the patient back to the lying posture, automatically identify the patient unconsciously beside the bed and then automatically return to the middle position of the bed, and plays a role in preventing the patient from rolling down. And can also be used as a hammock to hang and lie the patient at ordinary times, thus preventing the bedsore and bringing the most comfortable lying position. The diaper can be fully automatically replaced, children can be used as a cradle bed, and adults can be used as a hammock.
Background
Patients with difficult limb activities in general, especially elderly patients, live mainly in hospitals, nursing homes or at home for long periods of time in bed. Recently, the number of patients who need to be kept in bed is increasing dramatically, as they have entered the aging age. When the patient lies in bed for a long time, the part which is in long-time contact with the bed surface is pressed by the bed surface for a long time, so that the cell necrosis of the part with poor blood circulation is caused, and the bedsore is generated.
Bedsores are mainly produced on the back, hip and crotch bones of the patient. Head, etc. To prevent bedsores, a caregiver must often turn the body for the patient, but it is difficult for the caregiver to turn the body for the patient all night every day.
To improve this, many prior documents (korean patent registration No. 10-1731967) change the posture of a patient by folding over front, middle, and rear bed plates. However, the above conventional beds can only lift the upper body or the legs of the patient. The patient can only be lifted up, the patient can not be turned over, and the bedsore caused by the compression of the back and the hip skin can not be effectively prevented.
In order to solve the problems of the conventional bed, there is a bed (korean patent registration No. 10-1895054) in which a bed plate is divided right and left in the middle in the longitudinal direction of the bed, and a patient is turned over in such a manner that the bed plate is inclined right and left and turned over in the direction of the inner side of the bed, thereby preventing the occurrence of bedsores. However, when the side-turning bed board is turned over, the patient often slides to the inside of the bed instead of turning over on the side, and the purpose of turning over on the side can be achieved through the help of a caregiver.
In addition, the bed with the structure can turn over the bed board when a patient is right near the middle position of the bed and is along the length direction of the bed, otherwise, when the patient is not in the center of the bed, the patient can be rolled down to the bed by directly turning over the bed board, and the patient is not required to be turned over immediately, so the bed with the structure can only be used under the supervision of nursing personnel, otherwise, potential safety hazards are caused.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, specific embodiments for carrying out the present invention are described with reference to the drawings.
The invention discloses a bedsore-proof physiotherapy bed, which is shown in the schematic diagrams of figures 1 to 8, wherein a patient turns or lies down leftwards or rightwards in a wrapping mode by a bedspread (5). These operations are realized by a mechanical mechanism comprising a bed frame (10), a bedspread drum (20), a main girder (35), left and right moving mechanisms (30, 30'), lifting mechanisms (40, 40') and a sensor mechanism (50).
In the above mechanism, a bed board (11) is provided on a bed frame (10), and the height is determined by legs (12) for supporting the bed frame.
Both ends of the bed cover (5) are connected to the winding drums (20) of the roller blinds (21) (21') fixed to both sides of the frame, and are kept in a tightened state.
At the moment, the roller shutters (21) and (21') realize the loosening and tightening states of the bed cover (5) connected with the roller shutters by the forward and reverse rotation of the winding drum (20) connected with the shaft of the roller shutter motor (22), but the action is linked with the lifting and the left and right movement of the working rod (45).
The left and right moving mechanism (30) (30') is assembled on the left and right sides of the main beam (35) fixed on the lower end of the bedstead, the lifting mechanism (40) (40') is assembled on the left and right moving mechanism (30) (30'), the working rods (45) (45') vertically connected with the lifting rods (44) (44 ') of the lifting mechanism (40) (40') in a floating way are under the bedspread and move along the length direction of the bed independently in left, right, lifting, descending and the like, and the bedspread (5) wraps the patient automatically to complete the actions of turning over, translating, lying, hanging and the like to the right or left along with the actions of the working rods (45) (45 ').
The left-right moving mechanism (30) and (30') is configured such that a 1 st rack (31) engaged with a main beam (35) installed on the lower side of the frame by a 1 st gear (32) moves left and right by forward and reverse rotation of a traveling motor (33). The lifting mechanisms (40) and (40') are arranged on the left-right moving mechanisms (30) and (30') by meshing the 2 nd gear (42) with the 2 nd racks (41) and (41 ') of the lifting mechanisms (40) and (40') to realize the lifting of the lifting rods (44) and (44 ') along with the positive and negative rotation of the lifting motors (43) and (43').
The left-right moving mechanism (30) and (30') move left and right along a guide rail (38) mounted on the main girder (35). The elevating rod (44) moves up and down along a guide rail (49) mounted on the elevating mechanism (40) (40'). (FIG. 15 shows the lifting rod (44) and the 2 nd rack (41) are integrated together)
In the present invention, the left-right moving mechanism (30) and the elevating mechanism (40') may be installed on a single main girder (35) as shown in fig. 1 to move up and down left and right, or may be installed on double girders (35) and (35') as shown in fig. 10 to move up and down left and right, respectively.
In the present invention, the lifting mechanism (40) and (40') may be a lifting reducer mechanism as shown in fig. 13, and the lifting rod is coupled to the screw (47b) and moves up and down with the rotation of the screw (47 a). An electric cylinder pushing mechanism shown in fig. 14 can also be adopted, and the working rod (45) is connected with the push rod (48a) in a floating mode and moves up and down under the action of the push cylinder (48).
As shown in fig. 15, a structure is adopted in which a lifting rod (44) and a rack (41) are integrated, a lifting motor (43) is fixed at the upper ends of lifting mechanisms (40) and (40'), a 2 nd gear (42) is engaged with the rack-type lifting rod to move up and down, and working rods (45) and (45') are connected with the rack-type lifting rod in a floating manner.
Referring to fig. 11 to 12, the left-right moving mechanisms (30) (30') move independently on the double-main-beam mechanism, the lifting mechanisms (40) (40') are on the double-main-beam mechanism, the lifting mechanisms on the same side are connected by a coupling (46), and when a set of motor mechanism is adopted to rotate with the motor in a forward and reverse direction, the 2 nd gears (42) (42') are meshed with the 2 nd racks (41) (41') to drive the two lifting rods on the same side to move synchronously.
The 1 st pressure sensor (51) and the 2 nd gravity sensor (55) of the sensing mechanism (50) respectively control the movement of the left-right moving mechanism (30) (30') and the lifting mechanism (40) (40').
The 1 st pressure sensor 51 and the 2 nd gravity sensor 55 may be combined and replaced by a 3 rd gravity sensor 62 installed at the bottom of the elevating mechanism 40, 40' to control the movement of the left-right moving mechanism 30, 30' and the elevating mechanism 40, 40 '.
In this case, the induction system 1: and a 1 st pressure sensor (51) installed at a position near the bedside on the upper part of the elevating mechanism, for controlling the movement of the left-right moving mechanism (30) (30') by sensing the pressure change generated by touching the body of the patient when the operating rods (45) (45') move left and right. The 2 nd gravity sensor (55) is arranged at the lower end position of the left-right moving mechanism (30) (30'), and controls the movement of the lifting mechanism (40) (40') by sensing the change of the gravity borne by the working rod (45) (45 ').
The working rod (45) (45') is formed by wrapping elastic material layers (45b) (45b ') such as rubber or silica gel on the metal rods (45a) (45' a), and is in elastic contact with a patient when in contact with the patient, so that the patient is prevented from being impacted.
As shown in figure 16, the auxiliary pad (6) such as special sanitary pad is stuck on the upper surface of the bed cover (5) by means of sticking zipper, etc., and the sanitary pad can be easily exchanged and kept clean of the bed cover, and when the curtain type special sanitary pad is adopted, the sanitary pad can be fully automatically replaced.
Besides, when a magnetic inductor (metal detector) (15) is arranged at the lower part of the bed board to sense metal buttons of the patient clothes or soft metal strips adhered to the front of the patient clothes, the patient can be determined to be in a breast lying posture, and the turning motion can be automatically carried out at this moment.
Also can monitor the preserved fruit posture of lying prone of the patient through a face recognition mechanism (59) arranged on the bed head, and realize the turning motion.
As shown in FIG. 15, the bed frame is divided into upper and lower blocks (11a) and (11b), and the bed frame is tilted up and down by electric push cylinders (13) and (13').
In the invention, all the actions, namely the left-right moving mechanisms (30) (30') and the lifting mechanisms (40) (40') can be operated by a remote controller, and can also be remotely observed and operated by a smart phone by combining a camera (60) arranged on the bed head.
The weighing sensor (58) arranged between the caster wheel (8) and the supporting leg (12) can monitor the weight of the patient in real time, and the sensing mechanism (50) is matched to provide accurate data for the actions of the left-right moving mechanism (30) (30') and the lifting mechanism (40) (40'). And can also provide the change of the weight of the patient in real time for treating the illness state of the patient.
The 4 castors (18) mounted on the lower side of the legs (12) provide for easy movement of the bed of the invention.
In the present invention, as shown in fig. 22 and 23, the electric push rods 71 and 71 ' mounted on the pillow support 70 fixed to the frame are interlocked with the elevation of the operating rods 45 and 45', and move up and down together with the pillow 73 fixed to the electric push rods 71 and 7 ' 1. At this time, the gravity sensor (69) (69 ') installed under the electric push rod (71) (71') senses the gravity of the head of the patient, and the head is always kept in a pillow state.
In the invention, as shown in fig. 24, the pillow mechanism (79) is arranged at the lower part of the bed plate (11), when the bed plate (11) is overturned under the push of the electric push rods (13) (13'), the pillow mechanism (79) is overturned simultaneously, and the pillow mechanism can also be used as a backrest.
Unlike the above, as shown in fig. 23a and 24a, the pillow mechanism (79) is not driven by an electric push rod, but the support arm (70a) is fixed on the shaft of the motor (71a) and connected with the gravity sensor (69a), the pillow shaft (72) and the pillow (73) which are linked move up and down along with the positive and negative rotation of the motor, and the gravity sensor (69a) senses the gravity of the head, so that the head always keeps the posture of being rested on the pillow.
When the bed board (11) is inclined, the bedspread winding barrels (20) (20 ') are divided into (20a) (20a ') and connected by universal joints as shown in fig. 28 and 29, and at this time, the bedspread (5) is also divided into 2 pieces to be inclined along with the inclination of the bedspread winding barrels (20a) (20a ') as shown in fig. 24.
The lower side of the bed cover is provided with a cold and hot air blower which supplies comfortable air to the patient along with the change of the room temperature.
According to the invention, as shown in fig. 31, a roller shutter lifting mechanism (100) is arranged on a bed leg (12) at one side of the length direction of the bed, a gear (104) is meshed with a rack (103) to drive the roller shutter to do lifting motion along with the forward and reverse rotation of a motor (105), and a roller shutter arm (106) lifts a patient from the bed to the lower part of the bed along with the stretching and contracting motion, and can also lift the patient to the bed.
According to the invention, as shown in fig. 32, a roller shutter lifting mechanism (100) is arranged on a bed leg (12) at one side of the length direction of the bed, wheels (111, 111 ') on a shaft driven by a motor (105) and upper end pulleys (109, 109') are combined by a steel wire rope to rotate forward and backward along with the motor (105) so as to drive the roller shutter to do lifting motion, and a roller shutter arm (106) does stretching and contracting motion along with the roller shutter lifting mechanism to lift a patient from the bed to the lower part of the bed and also can lift the patient to the bed.
The shutter raising and lowering mechanism (100) may be installed on the right side or the left side of the bed as needed.
The function and function of the individual components in the present invention:
firstly, after the position and lying posture of the patient are judged, the physiotherapy couch cover is used for wrapping the patient to turn over to the left side or the right side according to the set optimal period in a circulating and reciprocating mode, and therefore bedsores are prevented.
The concrete description is as follows: referring to fig. 6 and 7, first, the operating rods (45) resting on both sides of the frame (10) are moved toward the center of the bed by the right-left moving mechanism (30) (30').
The action is that the rotation of a left-right moving motor (33) drives a 1 st gear (32) on a shaft of the motor (33) to be meshed with a 1 st rack (31) to move.
At this time, the left and right working rods (45) move to the center of the bed along with the left and right moving mechanisms (30) (30'), and when the working rods (45) touch the patient, the generated resistance is transmitted to the sensing mechanism (50) through the 1 st pressure sensor (51) { or the comprehensive weight sensor (62) } to control the movement and stop of the moving mechanisms (30) (30').
That is, the work bar (45) stops at the position on both sides of the patient after accurately finding the position of the patient.
When the patient needs to turn over to the right side, as shown in fig. 6, the lifting mechanisms (40) (40') rise, the working rods (45) lift the bed cover (5) to a certain height, and the bed cover (5) wraps the patient.
At this time, the lifting mechanism (40) rotates along with the lifting motor (43), and the 2 nd gear (42) is meshed with the 2 nd rack (41) to move upwards.
In this state, the left operating rod (45) of the patient moves toward the center of the bed while continuing to rise, and the right operating rod (45) moves toward the side of the bed while descending.
At the same time, the working rods (45) and (45') work together, namely, the two side curtain rolling devices (21) and (21') connected with the bed cover (5) are unfolded on one side and tightened on the other side, so that the bed cover (5) is always kept in a tight state. That is, when the left operating rod (45) is lifted, the left roller blind (21) unfolds the bed cover, and the right roller blind (21') tightens the bed cover.
When the patient turns over in the right direction by wrapping the bedspread (5) with the patient, the pressure applied to the 1 st pressure sensor (51) and the 2 nd gravity sensor (55) { or the comprehensive weight sensor (62) } is gradually reduced, and the patient turns over to the right side, and then the moving mechanism (40) stops moving.
The patient is wrapped by the bed cover (5) to be turned all the time in the whole turning process, so that the patient cannot be turned over, and the patient can be safely turned over.
Conversely, when the patient is turned to the left, as shown in fig. 7, the lifting mechanism (40) (40') is raised, the work bar (45) lifts the bed cover (5) to a certain height, and the bed cover (5) wraps the patient.
In this state, the right side operating rod (45) of the patient moves toward the center of the bed while continuing to rise, and the left side operating rod (45) moves toward the side of the bed while descending.
At the same time, the working rods (45) and (45') work together, one side of the two curtain rolling devices (21) and (21') connected with the bed cover (5) is unfolded, and the other side is tightened, so that the bed cover (5) is always kept in a tight state.
When the patient turns over in the left direction with the bed cover (5) wrapped around, the pressure applied to the 1 st pressure sensor (51) and the 2 nd gravity sensor (55) { or the comprehensive weight sensor (62) } is gradually reduced, and then the working rod (45) stops moving. The patient is then turned to the left. The patient is wrapped by the bed cover (5) to be turned all the time in the whole turning process, so that the patient cannot be turned over, and the patient can be safely turned over.
Furthermore, as shown in fig. 8, in the process of turning the patient to the right, when the turning phenomenon occurs unexpectedly, the magnetic sensor (15) at the lower side of the mattress senses the metal button or metal soft belt of the patient clothes to confirm the turning of the patient, at this time, the right working rod moves to the side of the patient, after the sensing confirmation of the first sensing mechanism (51) { or the comprehensive weight sensor (62) } senses the working rod (45) to stop translating, the working rod moves up to the same height as the left working rod in fig. 30 to stop immediately, at this time, the right curtain rolling device (21) tightens the bed cover, the left curtain rolling device (21') loosens the bed cover, the patient rotates 180 degrees, the angle is determined according to the rotation angle of the curtain rolling device, after the stop, the working rods (45) (45') slowly move to the side of the bed, and the two curtain rolling devices tighten the bed cover (5) to be in a tightened.
Again, in contrast to fig. 8: when the patient turns over to the right side and the buckle turning phenomenon happens accidentally, the patient turns over the device in the opposite direction.
Furthermore, when the patient is unconsciously turned over on the bed, the magnetic inductor (15) at the lower side of the mattress induces the metal button or the metal soft belt of the patient clothes to confirm the turning over of the patient, at the moment, the left and right working rods move to the side of the patient, after the first induction mechanism (51) { or the comprehensive weight sensor (62) } inducts and confirms, the working rods (45) (45') stop translating, do ascending movement and ascend to the left and right working rods as shown in fig. 30 and simultaneously ascend to a certain height and stop immediately, then the patient moves towards the center of the bed, simultaneously, the curtain rolling device (21) at one side tightens the bed cover, the curtain rolling device (21') at the other side loosens the bed cover, the patient rotates 180 degrees, the angle is determined according to the rotation angle of the curtain rolling device, after the stop, the working rods (45) (45') slowly descend to the side of the bed, and the curtain rolling devices at the two sides tighten the bed cover.
On the contrary, a special patient can not lie on the front side and only can lie on the front side, and at the moment, the soft metal belt adhered to the front side of the patient clothes is adhered to the back side of the patient clothes (at the moment, the patient clothes can not use metal buttons). At this time, the turning action is automatic reverse action, so that the patient can only be in a breast lying posture or a side lying posture.
Furthermore, when the patient is inadvertently moved to the bedside and there is a risk of falling, the patient is forced to the working lever (45) when the 2 nd sensor (52) { or the integrated weight sensor (62) } senses that the patient is in an abnormal position, and the patient is moved to the central position of the bed in the manner described above.
Furthermore, the working rods (45) (45') are formed by wrapping metal rods (45a) (45a ') and elastic material layers (45b) (45b ') such as rubber or silica gel, and are in elastic contact when in contact with a patient, so that the patient is prevented from being impacted. Also, as shown in fig. 26 and 27, the massage mechanism (91) (91 ') fixed to the massage beams (80) (80 ') on the elevating mechanism (40) (40') can give a simple back massage to the patient when the patient is in a lateral lying position.
In the invention, the massage force regulator (81) can regulate the back massage force.
Furthermore, the bed cover (5) is stuck with auxiliary pads (6) such as special sanitary pads and the like in a mode of sticking zippers and the like, the bed cover is easy to exchange and can keep clean and sanitary, when the curtain type special sanitary pad is adopted, after the special sanitary pad is rolled on a reel together with the bed cover, as shown in figure 30, the working rods at the left side and the right side move to the side of a patient, after a first sensing mechanism (51) { or a comprehensive weight sensor (62) } senses and confirms, the working rods (45) (45') stop translating and rise to a certain height to be stopped immediately, then the patient moves towards the center of the bed, simultaneously, one side curtain rolling device (21) tightens the bed cover, the other side curtain rolling device (21') unfolds the bed cover, the patient rotates 360 degrees, an angle is determined according to the rotation angle of the curtain rolling device, after stopping, the working rods (45) (45') slowly descend and move to the side of the bed, and the two side curtain rolling devices tighten the bed cover (5, the action of fully automatically replacing the sanitary pad is completed. At this time, (115) the thermal shrinkage film covers the upper edge of the sanitary pad along with the rotation of the roller shutter barrel, so that the cleaning and the convenience of the roller shutter barrel during the replacement are ensured.
Furthermore, when the present invention is used as a cradle for children, as shown in fig. 30, the working rods on the left and right sides move to a certain distance toward the center of the bed, and then rise to a certain height to stop immediately, the rolling device (21) on one side tightens up the bed cover, and the rolling device (21') on the other side unfolds the bed cover, and the operation is performed alternately, and the function of the cradle is achieved according to the adjustment of frequency and ferry range.
And the following steps: in the present invention, the lifting mechanism (40) (40') can be implemented by the mechanism shown in fig. 13, 14 and 15. As shown in fig. 13, a lifting reducer mechanism is used, and a lifting rod is coupled to a nut (47b) and moves up and down with the rotation of a screw (47 a). An electric cylinder pushing mechanism can also be adopted as shown in figure 14, the working rod (45) is connected with the push rod (48a) in a floating way, and the working rod moves up and down under the action of the push cylinder (48).
As shown in fig. 15, the lifting rod and the rack are integrated, the lifting motor (43) is fixed on the 2 nd gear (42) at the upper end of the lifting mechanism and meshed with the rack type lifting rod to move up and down, and the working rods (45) (45') are connected with the rack type lifting rod in a floating way.
Referring to fig. 9 to 12, the left-right moving mechanisms (30) and (30') and the elevating mechanisms (40) and (40') may be driven in other manners. In fig. 9 and 10, the left-right moving mechanism (30) (30') and the elevating mechanism (40) (40') are independently moved on the double main beam mechanism. (this way is especially suitable for patients with uneven stature) referring to fig. 11-12, the left-right moving mechanism (30) (30') moves independently on the double-main-beam mechanism, the lifting mechanism (40) (40') is on the double-main-beam mechanism, the lifting mechanisms on the same side are connected by the coupling (46), when a set of motor mechanism is adopted to rotate along with the positive and negative rotation of the motor, the 2 nd gear (42) (42') is meshed with the 2 nd rack (41) (41') to drive the two lifting rods on the same side to move synchronously.
The bed of the invention can not only judge the position, lying posture and the like of the patient, wrap the patient with the bedspread (5), and do automatically and circularly according to the set program and period: the patient can be prevented from falling down by the actions of turning over right, lying, turning over left, lying, hanging, lying and the like, so that bedsore can be effectively prevented, and safety and comfortable pleasure can be brought to the patient.
According to the present invention, as shown in fig. 17, when the patient is to be suspended, the left and right rolling blinds are unfolded to a predetermined length, the left and right working rods (45) (45') are moved simultaneously toward the center of the bed by a predetermined distance to stop, and then are lifted, and at this time, the lifting is stopped by the set pressure of the 2 nd sensor (55) { or the integrated weight sensor (62) }, so that the patient is in a comfortable suspended position.
According to the present invention, as shown in fig. 22 and 23, the electric push rods (71) (71 ') mounted to the pillow support (70) and the pillow (73) fixed thereon move up and down in synchronization with the up and down movement of the work rods (45) (45').
At this time, the gravity sensor (69) installed at the lower end of the electric push rod (71) (71') senses the gravity of the head, so that the pillow is always in a state of being rested on the head.
Unlike the above, the pillow mechanism (79) is installed under the movable plate (11) as shown in fig. 24, and when the movable plate (11) is tilted by the electric push rods (13) and (13'), the movable plate can be used as a backrest when the movable plate is tilted at the same time.
Unlike the above, the pillow mechanism (79) is driven by the motor (71a) to rotate forward and backward instead of being driven by the electric push rod as shown in fig. 23a and 24a, the pillow rod (72) and the pillow (73) are driven to move up and down by the support arm (70a) and the gravity sensor (69a) connected with the support arm, and the gravity sensor (69a) senses the gravity of the head, so that the pillow is always in a state of being rested on the head.
According to the invention, when the physiotherapy couch automatically finishes the bedsore prevention action, a quilt (66) covered on the patient in figure 21 rises and falls along with the lifting and falling of the patient. However, the 4 corners of the quilt (66) are connected with the hooks of the 4 corners of the bed frame (10) by the elastic belts (67), so the quilt does not move with the body of the patient and does not roll.
32, different from the above driving mode, a curtain rolling device lifting mechanism (100) is arranged on the bed leg (12) on the same side in the length direction of the bed, 2 driving pulleys (111, 111 ') are connected through a transmission shaft, one end of a steel wire rope (110, 110') is connected to the driving pulleys, and is connected to curtain rolling device moving arms (106) (106 ') through the upper end pulleys (109, 109') and the other end, the curtain rolling device is driven to do lifting motion along with the positive and negative rotation of a motor (105), and the curtain rolling device arms (106) do stretching and contracting motions along with the stretching and contracting motions to lift the patient from the bed to the bed or lift the patient to the bed.
In the present invention, the patient is lowered from the bed to the ground in a specific manner as shown in fig. 33a to 33 e: when going down from the bed to the ground in fig. 33a, as in fig. 33b, the right-side rolling device unfolds the bed cover, the moving arms (106) (106 ') rise and incline to the right, as in fig. 33c, the moving arms (106) (106') rise to the same height and horizontal position as the bed surface, as in fig. 33d, the right-side rolling device tightens the bed cover, the left-side rolling device unfolds the bed cover to transfer the patient to the bed side, as in fig. 33e, the patient can go down to the ground (the descending height is freely determined) by the rotation of the motor, and then the patient can be washed (the bed cover is in a breathable grid shape, and the washing water is directly leaked into a container below), and other things are convenient.
In the invention, when the patient wants to go from the ground to the bed, the reverse action of the actions can be realized.
The rolling shutter lifting mechanism (100) can be installed on the right side of the bed or the left side of the bed according to requirements.
All actions of the medical bed of the invention are normally operated by the self-contained rechargeable battery pack of the medical bed under the condition of power failure. In order to prevent the self-explosion phenomenon of the rechargeable battery pack from causing 2 times of injury to patients, a plurality of battery pack components are concealed inside the bed supporting leg (12).
