Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
According to the conventional continuous coating apparatus, when steel sheets having different sheet widths are continuously processed, the sheet width of the steel sheet is reduced, and the distance between the scattered coating liquid capturing plate and the widthwise end portion (edge portion) of the steel sheet is increased, and the steel sheet may not completely cover the through-hole through which the steel sheet passes. As a result, the scattered coating liquid from the edge portions of the steel sheet and the additional roll may penetrate into the through-plate openings, thereby causing surface defects in the steel sheet and reducing the yield.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a continuous coating apparatus capable of suppressing the occurrence of surface defects in a steel sheet even when the sheet width of the steel sheet changes.
Means for solving the problems
The continuous coating apparatus of the present invention is a continuous coating apparatus for continuously coating a coating liquid on a surface of a steel sheet conveyed in a vertically upward direction through a through-plate opening by a coating roll, the continuous coating apparatus including a scattered coating liquid recovery device disposed between the coating roll and the through-plate opening, the scattered coating liquid recovery device including: a scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate that covers the through-plate opening on the outer side in the width direction of the steel plate, and an end portion of the scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate is disposed opposite to both end portions in the width direction of the steel plate with a predetermined gap therebetween; and a moving mechanism for moving the scattered coating liquid recovery plate in the width direction of the steel plate.
In the continuous coating apparatus according to the present invention, the edge of the scattered coating liquid recovery plate is provided with a cutout, and both ends in the width direction of the steel sheet pass through the cutout.
Effects of the invention
According to the continuous coating apparatus of the present invention, even when the sheet width of the steel sheet is changed, the occurrence of surface defects on the steel sheet can be suppressed.

Detailed Description
The following describes a configuration of a continuous coating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, with reference to fig. 1 and 2. Fig. 1 is a schematic view showing a configuration of a continuous coating apparatus as an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a schematic view showing a configuration of a modification of the continuous coating apparatus shown in fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 1, a continuous coating apparatus 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is an apparatus for coating both surfaces of a steel sheet S that is conveyed at a high speed (e.g., at a speed of 250mpm or more) in a vertically upward direction (arrow direction shown in the figure), and includes a base plate 2, a pre-coating roll 3, a coating roll 4, and a scattered coating liquid recovery apparatus 10.
The bottom plate 2 is made of a plate material having a rectangular through-plate opening 2a through which the steel plate S to be conveyed vertically upward passes.
The pre-coating roll 3 is composed of a pair of roll members arranged above the base plate 2 and sandwiching the steel sheet S, and receives supply of a coating liquid from a coating vessel, a roll, or the like not shown, and pre-coats both surfaces of the steel sheet S with the coating liquid. By precoating the coating liquid, coating defects such as friction and excessive coating of the coating liquid can be suppressed during main coating using the coating roll 4.
The coating roll 4 is composed of a pair of roll members arranged above the pre-coating roll 3 and sandwiching the steel sheet S, and receives a supply of a coating liquid from a coating tank, a roll, or the like, not shown, and performs main coating of the coating liquid on both surfaces of the steel sheet S.
The scattering coating liquid recovery apparatus 10 is disposed between the base plate 2 and the precoat roller 3, and includes scattering coating liquid recovery plates 11a and 11b, guide rails 12a1, 12a2, 12b1, and 12b2, and width adjustment jigs 13a and 13 b.
The scattering coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) is formed of a member having a substantially "コ" cross section, and the member having a substantially "コ" cross section includes: members 11a1 and 11a2(11b1 and 11b2) erected in the vertical direction, and a roof-like member 11a3(11b3) provided at the upper end of the members 11a1 and 11a2(11b1 and 11b 2). The end portions of the scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) are disposed opposite to both width-direction end portions (edge portions) of the steel sheet S at a predetermined interval, and the scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) covers the through-sheet opening 2a on the outer side in the width direction of the steel sheet S when viewed from above in the vertical direction. The predetermined interval is preferably about 10 to 30mm in order to prevent the steel sheet S from meandering and coming into contact with the scattered coating liquid recovery sheet 11a (11 b).
The guide rails 12a1, 12a2(12b1, 12b2) are constituted by rail members arranged in the horizontal direction so that the scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) can support the lower ends of the members 11a1, 11a2(11b1, 11b2) constituting the scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) in a state of sliding in the horizontal direction.
The width adjustment jig 13a (13b) is formed of a rod-shaped member fixed to the upper surface of the roof member 11a3(11b3) forming the scattering coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11 b). By moving the width adjustment jig 13a (13b) in the horizontal direction, the scattering coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) can be moved in the horizontal direction along the guide rails 12a1, 12a2(12b1, 12b 2). Thus, even when the width of the steel sheet S changes, the scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) can be moved in the width direction of the steel sheet S, and the distance between the end of the scattering-coating-liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) and the steel sheet S can be maintained at a predetermined interval. As a result, even when the width of the steel sheet S changes, the scattering coating liquid from the edge portions of the steel sheet S and the additional rolls can be prevented from penetrating into the through-plate openings 2a, and thus the scattering coating liquid can be prevented from adhering to the surface of the steel sheet S and causing surface defects.
As is apparent from the above description, the continuous coating apparatus 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the scattering coating liquid recovery apparatus 10 disposed between the coating roll 4 and the through-plate opening 2a, and the scattering coating liquid recovery apparatus 10 includes: scattered coating liquid recovery plates 11a and 11b covering the through-plate opening 2a on the outer side in the width direction of the steel plate S, wherein the ends of the scattered coating liquid recovery plates 11a and 11b are disposed opposite to both ends in the width direction of the steel plate S with a predetermined interval therebetween; and a moving mechanism for moving the scattered coating liquid recovery plates 11a, 11b along the width direction of the steel sheet S. Thus, even when the width of the steel sheet S changes, the scattered coating liquid from the edge portions of the steel sheet S and the additional rolls can be prevented from penetrating into the through-sheet openings 2a, and therefore, the occurrence of surface defects in the steel sheet S can be prevented.
As shown in fig. 2, it is preferable that cut portions 14a and 14b are provided at the ends of the scattered coating liquid recovery plates 11a and 11b, and both ends in the width direction of the steel sheet S pass through the cut portions 14a and 14 b. With this configuration, the area of the scattering-coating- liquid recovery plates 11a and 11b covering the through-plate opening 2a can be increased, and therefore, the scattering coating liquid from the edge portions of the steel sheet S and the additional roll can be further suppressed from penetrating into the through-plate opening 2a, and the occurrence of surface defects in the steel sheet S can be further suppressed.
The present invention is not limited to the description and drawings constituting a part of the disclosure of the present invention relating to the above embodiments. That is, other embodiments, examples, operation techniques, and the like, which are made by those skilled in the art based on the present embodiment, are all included in the scope of the present invention.
