Description

Continuous application equipment
The present invention relates to a continuous coating apparatus for continuously applying a coating liquid by an applicator roll onto the surface of a steel sheet conveyed in a vertically upward direction through a through-plate opening.
In a conventional continuous coating device, a roof-type splash coating liquid catching plate is installed below the both ends of the applicator roll in the barrel length direction, and the splash coating liquid catching plate coats the spray coating liquid by quick opening when passing through the welding point. By collecting into a pan, surface defects were prevented from occurring on the steel sheet due to the splash coating liquid.
According to the conventional continuous coating apparatus, when continuously processing steel plates having different plate widths, the plate width of the steel plates is reduced to reduce the distance between the scattered coating liquid catching plate and the widthwise ends (edge portions) of the steel plates. As the distance increases, the through-plate opening through which the steel plate is passed may not be completely covered. As a result, when the scattered coating liquid from the edge portion of the steel plate or the incidental roll enters the through-plate opening, a surface defect may occur in the steel plate, which may reduce the yield.
This invention is made | formed in view of the said subject, The objective provides the continuous coating apparatus which can suppress that a surface defect generate | occur | produces in a steel plate even if the board width of a steel plate changes. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing a configuration of a continuous coating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic view showing a configuration of a modification of the continuous coating apparatus shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, a continuous coating apparatus 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is applied to both surfaces of a steel sheet S that is transported at a high speed (for example, a speed of 250 mpm or more) in a vertically upward direction (in the direction of an arrow in the drawing). Is provided with a floor plate 2, a precoat roll 3, an applicator roll 4, and a splash coating liquid recovery device 10.
The floor board 2 is constituted by a plate material having a rectangular through-plate opening 2a through which a steel sheet S conveyed in a vertically upward direction passes.
The precoat roll 3 is composed of a pair of roll members that are disposed above the floor plate 2 and sandwich the steel plate S. The precoat roll 3 is supplied with coating liquid from a coater pan or roll (not shown), and the coating liquid is applied to both surfaces of the steel sheet S. Pre-paint. By pre-coating the coating liquid, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of coating defects such as rubbing of the coating liquid and overcoat during the main coating by the applicator roll 4.
The applicator roll 4 is constituted by a pair of roll members that are disposed above the precoat roll 3 and sandwich the steel sheet S. The applicator roll 4 receives a coating liquid supplied from a coater pan or roll (not shown) and applies the coating liquid to both surfaces of the steel sheet S. Paint this.
The splash coating solution recovery device 10 is disposed between the floor plate 2 and the precoat roll 3, and includes the splash coating solution recovery plates 11a and 11b, guide rails 12a1, 12a2, 12b1, and 12b2, and a width adjusting jig 13a, 13b.
The splash coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) includes members 11a1, 11a2 (11b1, 11b2) standing upright in the vertical direction and a roof-like member 11a3 (11b3) provided at the upper ends of the members 11a1, 11a2 (11b1, 11b2). ) And a substantially U-shaped member in cross-sectional view. The end portions of the scattered coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) are disposed to face both ends (edge portions) in the width direction of the steel sheet S at a predetermined interval, and the scattered coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) is viewed from above in the vertical direction. The through-plate opening 2a on the outer side in the width direction of the steel plate S is covered. In order to prevent the steel sheet S from meandering and coming into contact with the scattered coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b), the predetermined interval is preferably about 10 to 30 mm.
The guide rails 12a1, 12a2 (12b1, 12b2) are constituted by rail members arranged in the horizontal direction, and the splashed coating liquid recovery plate 11a is in a state in which the scattered coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) is slidable in the horizontal direction. The lower ends of the members 11a1, 11a2 (11b1, 11b2) constituting (11b) are supported.
The width adjusting jig 13a (13b) is composed of a rod-like member fixed to the upper surface of the roof-like member 11a3 (11b3) that constitutes the scattered coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b). By moving the width adjusting jig 13a (13b) in the horizontal direction, the scattered coating liquid recovery plate 11a (11b) can be moved in the horizontal direction along the guide rails 12a1, 12a2 (12b1, 12b2). Thereby, even if it is a case where the width | variety of the steel plate S changes, the scattering coating liquid collection | recovery board 11a (11b) is moved along the width direction of the steel plate S, and the edge part of the scattering coating liquid collection | recovery board 11a (11b) and The distance between the steel plates S can be kept at a predetermined interval. As a result, even if the plate width of the steel plate S changes, it is possible to suppress the splash coating liquid from the edge portion of the steel plate S or the accompanying roll from entering the through plate opening 2a, so that the surface of the steel plate S is scattered. It can suppress that a coating liquid adheres and a surface defect generate | occur | produces.
As is clear from the above description, the continuous coating apparatus 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the scattered coating liquid recovery apparatus 10 disposed between the applicator roll 4 and the through-plate opening 2a. The coating liquid recovery apparatus 10 is a splashed coating liquid recovery plate 11a that covers the through-plate opening 2a on the outer side in the width direction of the steel sheet S, the end portions of which are opposed to the both ends in the width direction of the steel sheet S so as to face each other. , 11b and a moving mechanism for moving the scattered coating liquid recovery plates 11a, 11b along the width direction of the steel plate S. Thereby, even if it is a case where the board width of the steel plate S changes, since it can suppress that the splash coating liquid from the edge part of the steel plate S or an accompanying roll permeates into the through-plate opening part 2a, it is surface defect to the steel plate S. Can be prevented from occurring.
In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, the notch parts 14a and 14b are provided in the edge part of the scattering coating liquid collection | recovery plates 11a and 11b, and the width direction both ends of the steel plate S may pass the inside of the notch parts 14a and 14b. desirable. According to such a configuration, since the area where the scattered coating liquid recovery plates 11a and 11b cover the through-plate opening 2a can be increased, the scattered coating liquid from the edge portion of the steel sheet S or the incidental roll enters the through-plate opening 2a. It can suppress that it penetrate | invades more and can suppress that the surface defect generate | occur | produces in the steel plate S more.
As mentioned above, although the embodiment to which the invention made by the present inventors is applied has been described, the present invention is not limited by the description and the drawings that form part of the disclosure of the present invention according to this embodiment.
