5. The tote transfer apparatus of claim 4, wherein there are four of the gripper assemblies, namely a first gripper assembly, a second gripper assembly, a third gripper assembly, and a fourth gripper assembly.

The turnover transfer apparatus of claim 4, wherein said first guide means includes a first connecting rod, a first retaining sleeve and a first retaining ring, said second guide means includes a second connecting rod, a second retaining sleeve and a second retaining ring, said first capture plate is slidably connected to said first connecting rod and said second connecting rod by said first retaining sleeve and said second retaining sleeve, respectively, and said first retaining ring and said second retaining ring are disposed at positions where said first capture plate abuts said first retaining sleeve and said second retaining sleeve when said first capture plate is in the capture state.
7. The tote transfer apparatus of claim 6, wherein said first and second nests comprise first and second linear bearings, respectively, and said first capture plate is slidably coupled to said first and second tie bars by said first and second linear bearings, respectively.
8. The turnover box transfer apparatus of claim 7, wherein the second mounting rod is provided with a drag chain slot, and the translation platform is fixed with a drag chain.
9. The tote transfer apparatus of claim 8, wherein the second capture plate is secured to the vertical platform by two "L" shaped ribs.
