Description

Textile machine and method for operating a textile machine
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a textile machine, in particular a sewing machine, preferably a lock-stitch sewing machine, comprising: a shuttle rotatable about an axis of rotation and having a receptacle; a bobbin, which provides a bobbin thread and which can be inserted into the accommodation, in particular with a bobbin case or a bobbin case, and means for feeding the bobbin into the accommodation, the bobbin being rotatably arranged in the accommodation.
The invention also relates to a method for operating a textile machine, in particular a sewing machine, preferably a lock-stitch sewing machine, wherein during operation of the sewing machine a bobbin is provided with a bobbin, which is rotatably arranged in a receptacle of a shuttle hook, and wherein the bobbin is transferred into or removed from the receptacle by means of a device.
Background
Various sewing machines and methods for operating them are known from the prior art. EP 1751339B 1 relates to a device for changing a bobbin to a bobbin thread provided on a sewing machine or an embroidery machine. The bobbin is received in the magazine in a conventional manner. The magazine is inserted into the receiving portion of the shuttle hook. To this end, the shuttle has an axial pin, the free end of which has a cutout. The lock slide of the magazine can engage behind this cutout to later retain the magazine on the shuttle. The locking slide of the bobbin is actuated by a magazine valve in a known manner. The transport device is provided separately from the holding device for the shuttle box. It has a mechanism to open the shuttle box valve to release the shuttle box from the receptacle in the shuttle hook. The transport device is designed to be movable in translation.
An alternative mounting of the shuttle box in the shuttle hook is known from CH 332443. The shuttle box is held in the shuttle either by the box handle or exclusively by magnetic means. The magazine is manually removed from the shuttle hook.
DE 10028231B 4 relates to the idea of a magnetic retaining device for a shuttle box. The shuttle box has a magnet in the center on its outward wall, which interacts with the free end of the pin present in the receptacle in the shuttle hook. This arrangement constitutes a retaining mechanism for the shuttle box. The transport device is provided structurally separately from the holding device, by means of which the shuttle box can be removed from the receptacle in the shuttle hook. The carriage is movable in translation and also has a magnet which exerts a force on the shuttle box greater than the magnetic force generated between the pin and the magnet of the bobbin.
Finally, DE 102012108412 a1 discloses a sewing machine. The sewing machine has a shuttle driven by a hollow shaft. The piston is mounted in the hollow shaft such that it can move in the axial direction. The piston has an electromagnet which can interact with a permanent magnet arranged on the shuttle box. In this manner, the piston transports the magazine from the magazine to the shuttle via the hollow shaft. The electromagnet on the piston is energized in such a way that the electromagnet generates an attractive magnetic field. However, in sewing or embroidery, the electromagnet is energized such that the permanent magnet of the bobbin case and the electromagnet of the piston repel each other. In this way, the magazine is retained in the shuttle during sewing.
It is clear that the principle proposed in DE 102012108412 a1 is not without disadvantages. For example, the overall design requires considerable installation space due to the relatively expanded structure of the piston. Furthermore, due to the quality of the proposed device in connection with this design, considerable energy is consumed when the device has to be moved continuously during operation, for example in a gantry sewing machine. Finally, in the known devices, the shuttle box inside the hollow shaft can tilt during transport, which then leads to expensive troubleshooting of the sewing machine and consequently to long stop times.
Finally, a textile machine which has been proven and a method of the type described is known from DE 102015106886B 3. However, there is still room for improvement, particularly in the design of the textile machine and its handling.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is therefore to develop a device and a method of the type mentioned in such a way that the weight and space requirements of the components of the textile machine are reduced while the operational safety is increased and the practical use is greatly improved.
To solve this object, the invention proposes a textile machine having the features of claim 1.
In a textile machine, in particular in a lock-stitch sewing machine with a rotationally driven shuttle, the device for feeding a bobbin into a receptacle in the shuttle according to the invention has two holding and transport devices which can be moved alternately between two positions and which transfer the bobbin with a bobbin thread from a first position outside the shuttle to a second position in the shuttle or transfer the bobbin without a bobbin thread from the second position in the shuttle to the first position outside the shuttle.
Due to the design of the device with two holding and transport devices, it is in fact possible to insert the filled bobbin (i.e. the bobbin wound with the lower thread) into the corresponding housing of the shuttle hook in a first step with the holding and transport devices. The holding and conveying device can here basically be designed for the conveyance of the bobbin and also for the holding of the bobbin in the shuttle, provided that the holding and conveying device has a magazine handle which is plate-shaped and which covers the shuttle when the bobbin is inserted so that the bobbin does not fall out of the shuttle. In such designs, the bobbin is typically disposed in a magazine that can be inserted into the shuttle with the bobbin. However, according to the invention, the textile machine can also be designed in such a way that the shuttle hook and the bobbin housing form an integral component, wherein the bobbin magazine with the bobbin is inserted into the bobbin housing. In this case, the holding and conveying device conveys the magazine in which the bobbin is loaded.
The second holding and transport device can be filled with the filled bobbin (or magazine) when the first holding and transport device holds the bobbin (or magazine) in the shuttle during operation of the textile machine and the bobbin thread is pulled down for the sewing process, for example. When the bobbin thread fixed in the shuttle hook runs out, the textile machine stops running, the holding and carrying device pivots from the position where the bobbin is fixed in the shuttle hook back to the position outside the shuttle hook, so that the empty bobbin can be replaced by a new bobbin. At the same time, the second holding and carrying device moves the filled bobbin from the first position outside the shuttle to the second position in the shuttle and fixes the filled bobbin in the shuttle for continuing the sewing operation with the textile machine.
A basic advantage of the textile machine according to the invention is that the bobbin change requires only a short downtime. The empty bobbin can be replaced during operation of the textile machine, provided that the empty bobbin (possibly together with the bobbin housing or the magazine) is transferred by the holding and transport device to a position where the bobbin can be removed, without any problems and without any risk, while the textile machine continues to operate on the basis of the bobbin with the bobbin thread and inserted into the shuttle. Not only can the bobbin or the magazine with the bobbin be replaced when the bobbin is completely emptied, but also when there is some thread left on the bobbin.
According to another feature of the present invention, there is provided: the holding and carrying device lifts the bobbin together with the magazine into the receiving portion and, in the second position, closes the shuttle with the bobbin inserted, leaving a gap. This is an embodiment that includes a magazine handle that covers a shuttle inserted with a magazine and a bobbin, and holds the magazine rotationally fixed relative to the shuttle, while the bobbin is rotatably mounted in the magazine. The loop of thread slides in the gap and is guided by the shuttle and the magazine.
The present invention provides: each holding and transport device has a carrier arm which is arranged on the frame so as to be pivotable about a rotational axis. Each carrying arm is pivotably arranged on the frame. Preferably, each carrying arm has an actuator, for example a pneumatic or hydraulic linear motor. However, embodiments with a rotary drive are also conceivable.
It is further provided that the free end of the carrier arm with the receptacle can be moved on two paths in the form of circular arcs, which paths have an intersection point in the shuttle region. This ensures that the device for transporting the bobbin can be made compact and can be operated with two holding and conveying devices in a small installation space.
According to another feature of the present invention, there is provided: the first carrying arm is U-shaped with two legs and a web connecting the legs, and the second carrying arm can pass between the legs of the first carrying arm. In this further development, the movements of the two holding and carrying devices can be carried out in an overlapping manner, so that the transfer of the holding and carrying device with the bobbin filled with the lower thread from the first position outside the shuttle to the second position in the shuttle is already possible when the second holding and carrying device is transferred from the second position in the shuttle to the first position outside the shuttle. In this way, the downtime of the textile machine can be greatly reduced.
An alternative embodiment provides: the bobbin is rotatably disposed in the bobbin case, and the shuttle is integrally designed with the bobbin case, into which the bobbin and the bobbin case can be inserted.
Preferably providing: the holding and carrying device has connection devices for coupling to the bobbin or the magazine, each of which is designed to be switchable between a configuration for coupling the bobbin or the magazine and a configuration for releasing the bobbin or the magazine. These connecting means prevent the bobbin from falling out of the holding and transport means during the movement. Furthermore, it is preferable to provide: when the respective first or second position of the holding and conveying device is reached, the connecting device is released, simplifying the removal of the empty bobbin and the replacement by a bobbin filled with the lower thread. In a position where the magazine can be manually replaced, the magnet is kept not closed. The magazine must be removed against the magnetic force of the holding magnet.
It has proven to be particularly advantageous if the connection device is a magnetic, pneumatic and/or mechanical connection device.
With regard to the method, this object is solved by the features of claim 7.
In a method according to the invention for operating a textile machine, it is provided that: the two holding and carrying devices of the device are moved alternately between two positions and the bobbin with the lower thread is transferred from a first position outside the shuttle to a second position in the shuttle and the bobbin without the lower thread is transferred in advance from the second position in the shuttle to the first position outside the shuttle. This is performed by two holding and carrying devices in such a manner that one holding and carrying device is equipped with a bobbin filled with a lower thread and then moved to a position where the bobbin is disposed in the shuttle so that the lower thread can be drawn out of the bobbin according to a sewing process and processed in a sewing operation. During sewing, the second holding and carrying device is located at a first position outside the shuttle hook, and can load the bobbin filled with the bobbin thread. When the bobbin thread of the shuttle hook is used up during sewing, a new bobbin thread must be provided in the shuttle hook. For this purpose, the holding and transporting device with the bobbin in the shuttle hook is transferred from this position into a first position, while the holding and transporting device with the previously inserted bobbin with the bobbin thread is subsequently or simultaneously transferred from the first position into a second position in which the bobbin with the bobbin thread is arranged in the shuttle hook. The empty bobbin can then be taken out of the first holding and transporting device and replaced with a new bobbin filled with the lower thread, so as to prepare the holding and transporting device for the next transfer again to the second position, in which the bobbin with the lower thread is placed in the shuttle hook. The bobbin or the bobbin case with the bobbin can be replaced not only without remaining thread but also when the amount of thread remaining on the bobbin remains.
Preferably, each holding and carrying device is pivoted about an axis oriented transversely to the axis of rotation of the shuttle hook, and the bobbin is arranged in a replaceable manner on the holding and carrying device, the magazine being coupled in mechanical contact with the holding and carrying device at least during the movement of the holding and carrying device between the first position and the second position.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1a to 6b show an embodiment of a device 1 for transferring a bobbin 2 into a receptacle 3 of a shuttle hook 4 of a sewing machine (not shown in detail). Fig. 1a to 6b show the device 1 in different positions during operation of a sewing machine, wherein a bobbin 2 is provided with a bobbin thread during operation of the sewing machine, the bobbin 2 being rotatably arranged in the receptacle 3 of the shuttle 4.
The device 1 comprises a supporting frame 5 and two holding and transport devices 6, 7 arranged thereon. The support frame 5 is U-shaped in cross-section and thus has two legs 8 and a web 9 connecting the two legs 8. In summary, the support frame 5 has a box-shaped structure and is screwed to a sewing machine, not shown in detail.
The holding and carrying device 6 is connected to the support frame 5 such that it can pivot about an axis of rotation 10. In the same way, the holding and transport device 7 is also arranged on the support frame 5 so as to be pivotable about a rotation axis 11, the rotation axes 10 and 11 extending parallel to one another and being arranged one above the other in the support frame 5. Due to the different lengths of the holding and conveying means 6, 7, a pivotability of the holding and conveying means 6, 7 on a movement path in the form of a circular arc is obtained, which has a common intersection in the region of the receptacle 3 of the shuttle 4, so that the bobbin 2 can be moved via each holding and conveying means 6, 7 from a first position outside the shuttle 4 to a second position inside the shuttle 4.
The holding and conveying devices 6, 7 are each prepared in an alternating manner to take up one bobbin 2 and convey it to the receptacle 3 or to remove the bobbin 2 from the receptacle 3.
Fig. 1a and 1b show a first position, so that the holding and transport device 6 has a magazine handle 12 at the end, which can be connected to a shuttle magazine 13, the connection between the shuttle magazine 13 and the magazine handle 12 being established, for example, magnetically. The magazine handle 12 is plate-shaped and covers the receptacle 3 in the shuttle hook 4 if the holding and conveying device 6, 7 is pivoted into the second position. The bobbin case 13 is visible in fig. 2a and 2b, in particular the bobbin case 13 is intended to accommodate the bobbin 2, the bobbin 2 being mounted such that it can rotate relative to the bobbin case 13. The shuttle box 13 is non-rotatably connected to the box handle 12. Fig. 1a and 1b show the holding and conveying device 7 in its second position in such a way that the bobbin 2 is inserted into the receptacle 3 of the shuttle hook 4, so that the lower thread or the lower thread on the bobbin 2 can be used for the sewing process during the sewing process and the associated rotary drive of the shuttle hook 4.
On the other hand, as shown in fig. 2a and 2b, the holding and carrying device 6 is moved to the first position so that the magazine 13 in which the bobbin 2 is arranged can be placed on and connected to the magazine handle 12. As shown in fig. 2a and 2b, the holding and conveying device 6 is equipped with the bobbin 2 filled with the bobbin thread and is thus ready for the subsequent processing steps.
Fig. 3a and 3b show that in the next process step, the holding and transport device 7 is pivoted downwards so that the shuttle hook 4 is ready to receive a new bobbin 2 arranged on the magazine handle 12 of the holding and transport device 7. As shown in fig. 4a and 4b, in the next step the holding and transporting device 6 is pivoted in such a way that the magazine 13 arranged on the magazine handle 12 of the holding and transporting device 6 is pivoted together with the bobbin 2 into the receptacle 3 of the shuttle hook 4. As shown in fig. 5a and 5b, the shuttle box 13 on the holding and transport device 7 can now be removed from the box handle 12. As shown in fig. 6a and 6b, the empty bobbin 2 is replaced with a new bobbin 2 filled with the bobbin thread in the bobbin case 13. Now there is no thread left on the bobbin 2 in the housing 3 of the shuttle hook 4, the sewing machine stops and the magazine 13 is pivoted out of the housing 3 by moving the holding and carrying device 6 into the first position. Alternatively, the holding and conveying device 7 with the prepared magazine 13 and the bobbin 2 with the bobbin thread is then rotated back into the receptacle 3 of the shuttle hook 4.
