Abstract
The invention provides a composition for improving immunity and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the field of functional foods. The present invention provides a composition comprising: organic selenium, astragalus root, corn stigma and other components. The invention obviously improves the immunity of the organism by adjusting the proportion of the organic selenium and the corn stigma. The composition has simple components, and no adverse side effect after long-term administration. Test 1
Experiment for enhancing immunity of organism:
the experimental animals select 150 SPF Kunming white mice with the weight of 18-22 g.
The test samples were powders of the compositions prepared according to the formulations of examples 1 to 9 of the present invention and comparative examples 1 to 3, and the mouse was administered at a dose of 1.5 g/kg. Freely drinking water and eating, observing and adapting for 5 days before animal experiment, and entering into formal experiment after reexamination is qualified.
(1) Grouping experiments: the mice were randomly and evenly divided into groups, i.e., 10 mice each of which was perfused with the mice of examples 1-9 and comparative examples 1-3 and the mice of the control group, which was perfused with physiological saline. The compositions of examples 1-9 and comparative examples 1-3 were administered to groups of mice of examples 1-9 and comparative examples 1-3 daily with 1mL of physiological saline at a dose of 1.5g/kg BW/day for the entire experimental period; the saline control group was administered 1mL of saline daily. The mice freely eat and drink water, water is changed every day in the breeding process, and wood chip padding in the cage is changed every other day to keep cleanness. The ambient temperature is 20-25 ℃ and the total 15 days from the beginning of the gavage to the end of the experiment.
(2) Preparation of mouse serum: 24 hours after the last gastric lavage, 1-2mL of blood is collected from the eye socket after the eyeballs of the mice in each group are removed, the mice are placed in a test tube with anticoagulation in advance and are centrifuged at 3000rpm for 10min, and the supernatant is taken as the serum to be detected for later use.
(3) Measurement indexes and methods: lysozyme is a component of the immune defense mechanism of normal organisms, exists in neutrophils, monocytes and macrophages, and also exists in mucosal secretion, and is one of the body surface defense factors. The lysozyme content in the serum of each group of mice was measured using a Lysozyme (LZM) test kit (with standards), and the average value was calculated, and the measurement results are shown in Table 1.

As can be seen from Table 3, the serum lysozyme content of the mice gavaged with the compositions of examples 1-9 in Table 3 is higher than that of the mice of the normal saline control group, which indicates that the compositions of examples 1-9 of the present invention have the effect of enhancing the immunity of the organism, and the appropriate amount of the radix astragali extract and the corn silk extract are used in combination, so that the effect of enhancing the immunity can be significantly improved. In particular, the composition described in example 7 was most effective in enhancing immunity.
The raw material composition of the present invention, which is neither random nor any combination, is a composition that has been determined by the applicant through years of clinical application and research in combination with animal experiments, and cannot be considered as a simple superposition of raw materials having the same or similar effects; the pharmaceutical composition or the composition with the health care function is not simply combined and cannot be naturally compounded, but can be determined by scientific and creative tests; it has been proved by research that researchers who consider such ideas or practices as simple overlays, etc., have shown various problems in later development, production, application, and various adverse evaluations given by patients, including but not limited to various adverse reactions, etc., which are well-documented.
