Description

Application of beta-myrcene in drought resistance and growth promotion of alfalfa
Technical Field
The invention relates to application of a compound to drought resistance and growth promotion of pasture, in particular to application of beta-myrcene to drought resistance and growth promotion of alfalfa.
Background
As an important forage grass, the country has listed 'alfalfa industrialization' as a scientific and technological attack and customs project to seek to realize the optimization of the planting industry structure in China and promote the sustainable development of agriculture. Alfalfa, as a high quality variety in alfalfa, is an important source of high quality protein in animal husbandry. Alfalfa is suitable for warm and semi-humid to semi-arid climates, and is mostly distributed in the north of Yangtze river in China. In areas with less rainfall, the alfalfa faces the problem of how to resist drought and increase yield, and the traditional method mainly promotes the growth of the root system of the alfalfa by coupling water and fertilizer so that the alfalfa can absorb more nutrients and water to realize yield increase and drought resistance. However, the use of large amounts of fertilizers can salinize and harden the soil in water-deficient areas, threaten the safety of the soil and underground water resources of the planting field, and affect the planting of the following alfalfa and other pasture grasses or crops. However, natural ingredients extracted from nature are increasingly regarded as a substitute for fertilizers because they can be degraded in nature and do not pollute soil and groundwater. The natural products with rich varieties, different configurations and various action mechanisms in the nature provide possibility for the natural products.
beta-Myrcene, the name of English, beta-Myrcene, the structure of which is shown in figure 1, is colorless or light yellow liquid and has light balsam fragrance. In the application of the beta-myrcene, the beta-myrcene is mostly used as a raw material to synthesize other substances or be used as an insect repellent, and the beta-myrcene has growth promoting and drought resisting effects on plants and is not reported at home and abroad. The compound can be artificially and chemically synthesized, and has been reported in a plurality of documents, so that the compound has the advantages of easily available sources, low price and promising development and utilization prospect.
