Detailed Description
To make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more clear, embodiments of the present application will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
At present, when a video is broadcast in a carousel, advertisements need to be embedded into a video stream to be played in advance, so that only fixed advertisements can be displayed in advertisement slots of the video in the carousel (that is, advertisement display time slots during the video in the carousel). In addition, usually, a video stream is repeatedly played within a preset time (e.g., one or several days), so that the advertisements occupying the advertisement space in the preset time cannot be changed, and the flexibility of advertisement display is poor. And, the advertisement slot can be sold only according to the preset duration in the advertisement marketing, for example, the advertisement slot is sold in a pay per Day (CPD) manner. For example, an advertiser may buy an ad slot for several days during which each display device playing the video stream shows the ad provided by the advertiser at the ad slot. In the selling mode of the advertisement space, because whether the display device is online in the time period corresponding to the advertisement space every day is random, the exposure of the advertisement (namely the display times of the advertisement, which can also be called advertisement flow) cannot be determined; the actual exposure of the advertisement may be lower than the exposure required by the advertiser, so that the marketing effect achieved by advertisement display in the video carousel is poor; the actual exposure of the advertisement may also be higher than the exposure required by the advertiser, at which point the value of the ad slot is underutilized, resulting in a waste of exposure of the advertisement.
The following embodiments of the application provide an advertisement display method, a server and a display device, so that the display device can acquire advertisements to be displayed in real time when videos are played in turn, and the flexibility of advertisement display is improved. And the server can provide a proper advertisement to the display device according to the request of the display device, for example, the server can provide a proper advertisement to the display device according to the exposure requirement of the advertisement, so as to ensure the marketing effect achieved by displaying the advertisement and avoid the waste of the exposure of the advertisement.

Fig. 7 is a flowchart of an advertisement displaying method according to an embodiment of the present application. The method may be used for the server 400 shown in fig. 1 or fig. 6, and as shown in fig. 7, the method may include:
step 701, receiving a video request sent by a display device at a first time.
Step 702, sending a portion of the target video stream after the first time to the display device, where the target video stream includes: a plurality of videos, and time stamp tags interspersed among the plurality of videos, the time stamp tags indicating: the free time before the start time of the first video after the timestamp label.
Step 703, receiving an advertisement request sent by the display device when receiving the timestamp label, where the advertisement request is used for requesting an advertisement with a free time.
Step 704, sending the target advertisement with the free time to the display device, so that the display device can display the target advertisement with the free time before displaying the first video.
To sum up, in the advertisement display method provided by the embodiment of the application, the timestamp tag is inserted in the target video stream sent by the server, so that the display device can request the server for the advertisement with the spare time length when acquiring the timestamp tag, and then the server can send the target advertisement with the spare time length to the display device. Therefore, the server can flexibly select the target advertisement which is displayed by the display device in the spare time before the first video is displayed, and the flexibility of displaying the advertisement by the display device is improved.
Fig. 8 is a flowchart of another advertisement displaying method provided in the embodiment of the present application. The method may be used for the display device 200 shown in fig. 1 or fig. 2, and as shown in fig. 8, the method may include:
step 801 sends a video request to a server at a first time.
Step 802, receiving a portion after a first time in a target video stream sent by a server, where the target video stream includes: a plurality of videos, and time stamp tags interspersed among the plurality of videos, the time stamp tags indicating: the free time before the start time of the first video after the timestamp label.
And step 803, displaying the video after the first moment in the target video stream.
And step 804, when the timestamp label is received, sending an advertisement request to the server according to the timestamp label, wherein the advertisement request is used for requesting the advertisement with the spare time length.
Step 805, when receiving the target advertisement with the free time length sent by the server, displaying the target advertisement with the free time length before displaying the first video.
Fig. 9 is a flowchart of still another advertisement displaying method according to an embodiment of the present application. The method may be used in the advertisement presentation system shown in fig. 1, and as shown in fig. 9, the method may include:
step 901, a server acquires a first program list, where the first program list includes: the video display device comprises a plurality of videos, a plurality of auxiliary display periods in one-to-one correspondence with the videos, and at least one advertisement moment.
Before video carousel is performed, a worker needs to arrange a video to be carousel in advance to obtain a first program list. The staff member can determine a plurality of videos to be played in turn, an auxiliary display time interval corresponding to each video and at least one advertisement time to obtain the first program list. The auxiliary display time period of the video is a display time period of the video roughly divided by a worker, and the video may not be displayed in the auxiliary display time period when the video is actually played in a carousel manner; each advertisement time is the time when one advertisement starts to be displayed in one day reserved by staff, and the advertisement time may not start to be displayed when the video is actually broadcast in a carousel mode. The plurality of videos may be a plurality of different videos or a plurality of same videos, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
Alternatively, the display device may continue a video carousel throughout the day, where the time of day (24 hours) may be divided into a plurality of auxiliary presentation periods. Illustratively, the first program list includes 12 videos, the duration of the auxiliary display period corresponding to each video is two hours, for example, the auxiliary display period corresponding to the first video in the 12 videos is 6: 00-8: 00, the auxiliary display period corresponding to the second video is 8: 00-10: 00, the auxiliary display period corresponding to the third video is 10: 00-12: 00, and so on. The first program includes five advertisement moments: 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00. Alternatively, if the display device only plays the video in a turn during a partial time period of the day, the partial time period may be divided into a plurality of auxiliary presentation periods.
Alternatively, the plurality of videos in the first program list may include only the indication information of the plurality of videos, and the indication information of the videos may include titles or video names of the videos. At this time, the first program list may be a program list. Table 1 below shows a program list.
TABLE 1
6:00~8:00 First video
8:00 First moment of advertisement
8:00~10:00 Second video
10:00 Second advertisement time
10:00~12:00 Third video
12:00 Third advertisement time
...... ......
Alternatively, the central processing unit of the server may acquire the first program list input by the staff member through the input/output controller, or the server may acquire the first program list from other devices through its network interface unit.
Step 902, the server determines the estimated online display device amount of each advertisement time when the plurality of videos are displayed according to the historical online display device amount of each advertisement time in the at least one advertisement time.
In the embodiment of the application, the server can acquire the online state of each display device in communication connection, and then the server can determine the amount of the online display devices at each moment every day. The number of online display devices is also the number of online display devices, i.e., the display devices that are performing video carousel. Alternatively, the server may store the online display device amount. After the server determines the at least one advertisement time according to the first program, the server may determine an estimated online display device amount for each advertisement time when the plurality of videos are displayed according to the historical online display device amount for each advertisement time.
For each advertisement time, there may be one online display device amount at the advertisement time every day, and the server may obtain the online display device amount at the advertisement time a plurality of days before the current time to obtain a plurality of online display device amounts. And the server can determine the estimated online display equipment amount of the advertisement time in various ways according to the online display equipment amounts. The examples of the present application take the following three modes as examples: in one approach, the server may determine an average of the plurality of online display device amounts as an estimated online display device amount for the advertisement time. In another mode, the server may also determine an actual presentation time of the video in the first program listing and the plurality of online display device amounts, and determine an estimated online display device amount at the time of the advertisement. Illustratively, the actual presentation time of the video in the first program listing is the next day of the current time, and the server may determine the ranking of the next day in the week and the plurality of online display device amounts. If the next day is wednesday, the server may determine an online display device amount of the advertisement time at wednesday among the plurality of online display device amounts, and further determine an estimated online display device amount of the advertisement time according to the online display device amount. In yet another manner, the server may determine the estimated online display device amount at the time of the advertisement according to a trend of the plurality of online display device amounts.
Alternatively, step 902 may be performed by a central processing unit of the server.
Step 903, the server determines a target time corresponding to the idle time length in the at least one advertisement time according to the advertisement resource library and the estimated online display device amount of each advertisement time in the at least one advertisement time.
The server can further determine the target time at which the advertisement needs to be displayed in the actual carousel video at the at least one advertisement time according to the estimated online display equipment quantity at each advertisement time and the advertisements in the advertisement resource library, and determine the display duration of the advertisement after each target time. And determining a target time corresponding to the idle time length in the at least one advertisement time according to the advertisement resource library and the estimated online display equipment amount of each advertisement time in the at least one advertisement time, wherein the display time length is the idle time length corresponding to the target time. The spare time after the target time can be an advertisement space when the video is played in turn.
In an optional implementation manner, for each advertisement time in the at least one advertisement time, the server may determine whether the advertisement resource library includes a first advertisement meeting a condition corresponding to the advertisement time according to the estimated online display device amount of the advertisement time. When the advertisement resource library includes a first advertisement meeting the condition corresponding to the advertisement time, the server may determine that the advertisement time is a target time corresponding to the free time, and determine the time of the first advertisement as the free time corresponding to the advertisement time. When the advertisement resource library does not meet the condition corresponding to the advertisement time, the server can determine that the advertisement time does not correspond to the spare time, the advertisement time is not the target time, and the advertisement does not need to be displayed at the advertisement time when the video is actually broadcast in a carousel mode.
Optionally, each advertisement in the advertisement repository may have a corresponding single-day exposure, the single-day exposure corresponding to an advertisement being a minimum number of times an advertisement is shown a day. The conditions corresponding to the advertisement time may include: the single-day exposure corresponding to the first advertisement is less than or equal to the estimated online display equipment amount. For example, an advertiser may provide conditions that need to be met for the advertisement to be shown when placing the advertisement, such as conditions that need to be met for the advertisement's display location, which may include the advertisement's corresponding daily exposure.
Illustratively, the estimated online display device amount at an advertisement time in the first program list is 300, that is, 300 display devices are online at the advertisement time in advance to show a required picture. The conditions corresponding to the advertisement time may include: the advertisement resource library has advertisements with the corresponding single-day exposure less than or equal to 300. For example, the duration of the first advertisement in the advertisement resource library is 15 seconds, the single-day exposure amount corresponding to the first advertisement is 200, that is, the advertiser requires that the first advertisement is displayed at least 200 times in one day. If the first advertisement is displayed at the advertisement time, the requirement of the advertiser for the first advertisement can be met. At this time, the server may determine that the first advertisement in the advertisement repository satisfies the condition corresponding to the advertisement time. Furthermore, the server may determine that the advertisement time is a target time, and determine that the duration of the first advertisement is a free duration corresponding to the target time, so that the free duration corresponding to the target time is 15 seconds.
In another alternative implementation, the condition corresponding to the advertisement time may further include: the single-day exposure corresponding to the second advertisement in the advertisement resource library is less than or equal to the estimated online display equipment amount, and the duration of the second advertisement is the same as that of the first advertisement. That is, the single-day exposure corresponding to the advertisement in a certain time length in the advertisement resource library is less than or equal to the estimated online display equipment amount.
Illustratively, advertisements a and b with the duration of 15 seconds are included in the advertisement resource library, the single-day exposure amount corresponding to the advertisement a is 1000, and the single-day exposure amount corresponding to the advertisement b is 200. The at least one advertisement occasion includes: 8:00, 16:00 and 20:00, wherein the estimated online display device amount of 8:00 is 1200, the estimated online display device amount of 16:00 is 1100, and the estimated online display device amount of 20:00 is 300. Further, the server may determine that the advertisements a and b satisfy the conditions corresponding to the advertisement times 8:00 and 16:00, determine that the advertisement times 8:00 and 16:00 are target times, and determine that the idle time periods corresponding to the advertisement times 8:00 and 16:00 are 15 seconds. As such, a 15 second advertisement may be presented beginning at 8:00 when the video is actually being carousel.
In yet another alternative implementation, the server may determine a total single-day exposure for advertisements of the same duration in the advertisement repository, where the total single-day exposure is a sum of single-day exposures for at least one advertisement of the same duration. The server may determine at least one target time of the at least one advertisement time based on the total single-day exposure, where the total single-day exposure is less than or equal to a total estimated online display device amount of the at least one target time, and the total estimated online display device amount is a sum of the estimated online display device amounts of the at least one target time. Furthermore, the server may determine the same duration as a free duration corresponding to each of the at least one target time.
Illustratively, advertisements a and b with the duration of 15 seconds and advertisement c with the duration of 30 seconds are included in the advertisement resource library, the exposure amount per day for the advertisement a is 1000, the exposure amount per day for the advertisement b is 200, and the exposure amount per day for the advertisement c is 300. The server may determine the total single-day exposure for advertisements in the advertisement repository that are 15 seconds in duration and the total single-day exposure for advertisements in the advertisement repository that are 30 seconds in duration. The 15 second advertisement corresponds to a total single day exposure of: the sum of the single-day exposure for advertisement a and the single-day exposure for advertisement b is 1200. The total single-day exposure for the advertisement with the duration of 30 seconds is the single-day exposure for advertisement c, i.e., 300. The estimated online display device amount of 8:00 at the at least one advertisement moment is 200, the estimated online display device amount of 16:00 is 180, the estimated online display device amount of 18:00 is 1000, and the estimated online display device amount of 20:00 is 400. Further, the server may determine that the total single-day exposure for the 15 second advertisement is less than the total estimated online display device amount 1380 for advertisement times 8:00, 16:00, and 18: 00; and the server may determine that the total single-day exposure for the 30 second advertisement is less than the total estimated online display device amount 400 for the advertisement time 20: 00. Therefore, the server can determine that the advertisement moments 8:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 20:00 are all target moments, determine that the free time lengths corresponding to the advertisement moments 8:00, 16:00 and 18:00 are all 15 seconds, and determine that the free time lengths corresponding to the advertisement moments 20:00 are all 30 seconds. Thus, a video may be actually broadcast in a carousel beginning to show 15 seconds of advertising at 8:00, 16:00, and 18:00, and 30 seconds of advertising at 20: 00.
Further illustratively, in the above example, the server may also determine that the total daily exposure for the 15 second advertisement is less than the total estimated online display device amounts 1480 for advertisement times 18:00 and 20: 00; the total single-day exposure for the 30 second advertisement is less than the total estimated online display device amount 380 for advertisement times 8:00 and 16: 00. The server may also determine that the free time periods corresponding to advertisement times 18:00 and 20:00 are both 15 seconds, and the free time periods corresponding to advertisement times 8:00 and 16:00 are both 30 seconds.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the total single-day exposure corresponding to the advertisement of the same duration needs to be less than or equal to the total estimated online display device amount of at least one target time, that is, the total estimated online display device amount is greater than or equal to the total single-day exposure. Optionally, the total estimated online display device amount may also be required to be greater than or equal to a target multiple of the total single-day exposure, where the target multiple is greater than 1, so as to ensure that the requirements of the advertiser are fully satisfied. Illustratively, the target multiple may be 1.1 or 1.2 or other multiples.
Alternatively, step 903 may be performed by a central processing unit of the server.
Step 904, the server performs streaming processing on the plurality of videos and the timestamp labels corresponding to the target time according to the spare time corresponding to the target time, so as to generate a target video stream.
After determining each period (i.e., the free time after each target time) in which the advertisement needs to be displayed when the video is actually broadcast in the step 903, the server may further accurately determine the actual display period of each video according to the target time and the corresponding free time. For example, if the server may determine that the auxiliary display time period of the second video is 8:00 to 10:00 in step 901, determine that the advertisement time 8:00 is the target time in step 903, and the idle time corresponding to the target time is 15 seconds, the server may further determine that the actual display time period of the second video is 8:00:15 to 10: 00.
Furthermore, the server may insert a timestamp tag corresponding to each target time into the plurality of videos at the target time, and then the server may perform streaming processing on the plurality of videos and the timestamp tag to generate a target video stream. The corresponding time point of the timestamp label in one day is a target time; the timestamp label is used to indicate: and the spare time length before the starting display time of the first video behind the timestamp in the target video stream is the spare time length corresponding to the target moment corresponding to the timestamp.
Alternatively, the server may store the target video stream directly after generating the target video stream, or the server may transmit the target video stream to the third party device so that the third party device stores the target video stream. The third party device may be a server separate from the server. Alternatively, the third party device may belong to a Content Delivery Network (CDN).
Alternatively, step 903 may be performed by a central processing unit of the server.
Step 905, the display device sends a video request to the server at the first moment.
For example, a carousel application may be installed on the display device, and the display device may start the carousel application under the trigger of the user. At this time, the display device may transmit a video request to the server to request the target video stream to be carousel, where a time of transmitting the video request to the server may be the first time.
Alternatively, the controller of the display device may generate the video request, and then transmit the video request to the network interface unit of the server through the communication interface of the display device.
Step 906, the server sends the part after the first moment in the target video stream to the display device according to the video request.
Alternatively, the server may receive a video request sent by the display device at a first time, and then the server may send a portion of the target video stream after the first time to the display device according to the video request. Optionally, when the server sends the data in the video stream to the display device, all the data in the target video stream after the first time may be sent to the display device at one time; or the server may sequentially send the data in the target video stream to the display device according to the time sequence corresponding to each data in the target video stream, for example, the server may sequentially send the image of each video in the target video stream and the audio corresponding to each frame of image to the display device frame by frame, but does not send all the data in the target video stream to the display device at one time.
Optionally, in step 906, the central processing unit of the server may obtain a portion of the target video stream after the first time, and send the portion of the target video stream after the first time to the communication interface of the display device through the network interface unit.
In the embodiment of the present application, a portion after the first time in the target video stream is directly sent to the display device by the server is taken as an example. Optionally, when the server stores the target video stream to the third-party device after generating the target video stream, the server may send the identifier of the third-party device to the display device when receiving the video request sent by the display device. And the server may instruct the display device to send a video request to the third-party device, so that the display device obtains the portion of the target video stream after the first time from the third-party device. In which case the third party device may share the load pressure of the server.
It should be further noted that, in this embodiment, for example, the display device sends a video request to the server at a first time, and the server receives the video request at the first time. Alternatively, if the display device sends a video request to the server at a first time, and the server may receive the video request at a second time after the first time, the server may send a portion of the target video stream after the second time to the display device. Optionally, the video request sent by the display device may carry a first time at which the display device sends the video request, and the server may send a portion of the target video after the first time to the display device according to the video request.
Step 907, the display device displays the video after the first moment in the target video stream.
When the display device receives the part of the target video stream after the first time sent by the server, the display device may play the video after the first time in the target data stream according to the playing sequence of each video in the target video stream. For example, the controller in the display device may obtain, from the communication interface of the display device, a portion of the target video stream after the first time, and sequentially transmit each video to the display screen of the display device according to the playing sequence of each video, so as to control the display screen to display each video.
Optionally, in step 906, the server may send video data that can be directly played to the display device, and then the display device may directly play the video after receiving the data sent by the server. Or, if the video data sent by the server to the display device in step 906 cannot be directly played, the display device may analyze the video data to obtain playable video data, and then play the video after the first time in the target data stream according to the playing sequence of each video in the target video stream.
Step 908, when receiving the timestamp label in the target video stream, the display device sends an advertisement request to the server according to the timestamp label, where the advertisement request is for requesting an advertisement with a free duration.
For example, the server sequentially transmits data in the target video stream to the display device, and when the display device receives a timestamp tag in the target video stream, the display device may determine that the advertisement needs to be shown at a time point corresponding to the timestamp tag. The display device may also determine the free time indicated by the timestamp label, and then generate an advertisement request for requesting an advertisement for the free time according to the free time.
Optionally, the advertisement request may carry at least one of the device parameters of the display device. For example, the device parameters of the display device may include: an identification of the display device, a type of the display device, and a geographic location in which the display device is located.
Alternatively, a controller in the display device may determine whether a timestamp label is acquired. When the controller determines to acquire the timestamp label, the spare time indicated by the timestamp label can be determined, an advertisement request is generated, and the advertisement request can be sent to a network interface unit of the server through a communication interface of the display device.
In step 909, the server determines whether there is a target advertisement satisfying the target condition in the advertisement repository according to the advertisement request. When the target advertisement meeting the target condition exists in the advertisement resource library, executing step 910; when there are no targeted advertisements in the advertisement repository that satisfy the targeting criteria, step 915 is performed.
In the embodiment of the present application, the target condition that the target advertisement needs to satisfy may include at least one of the first advertisement condition and the second advertisement condition. Wherein the first advertisement condition may include: the device parameters corresponding to the advertisement include device parameters of the display device. The second advertisement condition includes: the residual exposure corresponding to the advertisement and the residual showing times of the day on the display device are both larger than zero.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, each advertisement in the advertisement resource library has at least part of the corresponding single-day exposure, device parameters, remaining exposure, and remaining number of times of showing on each display device on the same day. The residual exposure corresponding to the advertisement is the number of times of displaying the advertisement, the single-day exposure corresponding to the advertisement is the minimum number of times of displaying the advertisement in one day, and the equipment parameter corresponding to the advertisement is the parameter of the display equipment used for displaying the advertisement. For example, the device parameters corresponding to the advertisement may include identifications of multiple display devices, types and geographic locations of the display devices, and the device parameters corresponding to the advertisement may also include other parameters, which are not limited in this embodiment of the present application.
Optionally, the advertiser may provide the single-day exposure and device parameters corresponding to the advertisement when placing the advertisement. And may also provide a total exposure corresponding to the advertisement and a total number of impressions per day on each display device. The total exposure corresponding to the advertisement is the total display times of the advertisement required by the advertiser, and the total exposure can represent the viewed quantity of the advertisement required by the advertiser; the total number of times per day that the advertisement is shown on each display device is the maximum number of times per day that the advertiser requires that the advertisement be shown on one display device, and the total number of times per day that the advertisement is shown on each display device may represent the frequency of showing the advertisement that the advertiser requires. Advertisers may purchase ad spots to place ads based on their total exposure required and the total number of impressions per day on each display device. Alternatively, if an advertiser only buys a day's ad spots for a certain advertisement, the single-day exposure for that advertisement is equal to the total exposure. When a certain advertisement is not displayed on any display device, the residual exposure of the advertisement is equal to the total exposure of the advertisement; when an advertisement has not been shown on a display device during a day, the number of remaining shows of the advertisement on the display device during the day is equal to the total number of shows of the advertisement per display device per day. After the advertisement is displayed on the display device, the server can update the remaining exposure corresponding to the advertisement and the remaining number of times of display of the advertisement on the display device in the same day according to the total number of times of display of the advertisement and the number of times of display of the advertisement on the display device in the same day.
Illustratively, a certain advertisement corresponds to a total exposure of 30000, a total number of impressions per day on each display device of 3, the advertisement being shown on 1000 display devices at 8:00 and 2000 display devices at 12:00 in a carousel of videos on the first day. At this time, the remaining exposure amount corresponding to the advertisement may be 27000, and the remaining number of presentations on the display device on the day is 1.
Optionally, in an advertisement resource library, the remaining exposure corresponding to the advertisement in the advertisement resource library may be greater than zero or equal to zero, and in this case, the target condition may include any one of the first advertisement condition and the second advertisement condition, or both of the first advertisement condition and the second advertisement condition. In another advertisement resource library, only the corresponding advertisement with the remaining exposure greater than zero may be included in the advertisement resource library, and in this case, the target condition may only include the first advertisement condition.
Alternatively, the central processing unit in the server in step 909 may determine whether there is a targeted advertisement satisfying the targeting condition in the advertisement resource repository according to the advertisement request received through the network interface unit.
Step 910, the server sends the targeted advertisement to the display device.
Illustratively, when the central processing unit of the server determines that a targeted advertisement satisfying the target condition exists in the advertisement resource library, the targeted advertisement may be transmitted to the communication interface of the display device through the network interface unit of the server.
And 911, displaying the target advertisement by the display equipment within the spare time length corresponding to the target timestamp.
For example, after receiving the target advertisement sent by the server, the display device may start to display the target advertisement at a time point corresponding to the target timestamp, and display the target advertisement at an idle duration corresponding to the target timestamp (i.e., an idle duration before a starting display time of a first video after the target timestamp). The duration of the target advertisement is equal to the spare duration, so that the target advertisement can be displayed in the spare duration, and the first video can be displayed seamlessly after the target advertisement is displayed. In the embodiment of the application, the controller in the display device may obtain the target advertisement received by the communication interface, and control the display screen of the display device to display the target advertisement.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, there may be a time difference between a time when the display device receives any frame image in a video in the target video stream and a time when the display device displays the image, and a time when the display device displays one frame image in a certain video in the target video stream has a certain delay time relative to a time when the display device receives the frame image. Therefore, when the display device receives the timestamp label in the target video stream, the display device still displays a certain frame of image before the timestamp label, at the moment, the display device sends an advertisement request to the server, and the server can send the target advertisement to the display device within the delay time, so that the display device can display the target advertisement in time after the display of the video before the timestamp label is completed.
Step 912, the display device generates an advertisement log, where the advertisement log is used to indicate that the display device displays the target advertisement.
After the display device has shown the targeted advertisement, an advertisement log may be generated indicating that the display device has shown the targeted advertisement. Optionally, the advertisement log may include one or more of an identifier of the target advertisement, a display period of the target advertisement, and device information of the display device, or the advertisement log may further include other information, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present application. Alternatively, the advertisement log may be generated by a controller of the display device.
Step 913, the display device sends an advertisement log to the server.
Illustratively, after the controller of the display device generates the advertisement log, the advertisement log may be transmitted to the network interface unit of the server through the communication interface of the display device.
In step 914, the server reduces the remaining exposure corresponding to the target advertisement and the remaining number of impressions on the display device on the same day according to the advertisement log.
After receiving the advertisement log sent by the display device, the server can determine the target advertisement displayed by the display device according to the advertisement log, and further update the residual exposure corresponding to the target advertisement in the advertisement resource library and the residual display times of the current day on the display device. Specifically, reference may be made to related descriptions in step 909, and details of the embodiment of the present application are not described again. Alternatively, step 914 may be performed by a central processing unit in the server.
Step 915, the server sends the auxiliary video with the free time to the display device.
Alternatively, when the server determines that there is no target advertisement satisfying the target condition in the advertisement resource library in step 909, the display device may acquire the auxiliary video for the free time.
For example, the server may obtain an auxiliary video with a free time duration in a video resource library, and then actively send the auxiliary video to the display device. Alternatively, the secondary video may be a movie trailer. Optionally, the auxiliary video may belong to the same video as the first video of the target video stream after the timestamp tag, or belong to the same video as the video before the timestamp tag.
Alternatively, an auxiliary video request may be sent by the display device to the server to request auxiliary video for the duration of the vacancy. For example, a timer may be started after the display device sends the advertisement request to the server in step 908, and when the display device determines that the advertisement sent by the server is not received within the waiting time period after sending the advertisement request to the server, the display device may send an auxiliary video request to the server to request to obtain an auxiliary video with a free time period, and the server may send the auxiliary video to the display device.
Optionally, in step 915, the central processing unit of the server may determine an auxiliary video of the idle duration in the video repository, and further send the auxiliary video to the communication interface of the display device through the network interface unit of the server.
And step 916, the display device displays the auxiliary video within the spare time length corresponding to the target timestamp.
It should be noted that, for the introduction of displaying the auxiliary video by the display device in step 916, reference may be made to the relevant introduction of displaying the target advertisement by the display device in step 911, and details of the embodiment of the present application are not described again.
In the embodiment of the application, the server can preset a timestamp tag in the video stream to be carousel to mark the advertisement display position, and the display device can send an advertisement request to the server in real time during the video carousel to request the target advertisement to be displayed. After receiving the advertisement request sent by the display device, the server can determine a proper target advertisement for the display device to display according to the single-day exposure, the device parameters, the residual exposure and the remaining display times of the day on each display device corresponding to each advertisement in the advertisement resource library. Therefore, the server can send appropriate advertisements to the display device according to the required exposure of each advertisement and the required display frequency every day, and the server can flexibly replace the advertisements displayed in each advertisement display time interval, so that the flexibility of displaying the advertisements by the display device is improved. And the server sends appropriate advertisements to the display device according to the required exposure of the advertisements and the required display frequency every day, so that the advertisement slots in the target video stream can be sold according to the flow, for example, the advertisement slots are sold according to a Cost Per thousand (Cost Per mile, CPM) advertisement charging mode, thereby reducing the waste of advertisement flow and improving the advertisement marketing effect.
It should be noted that, in the foregoing embodiment of the application, the server determines, according to the first program, the advertisement time, the multiple videos to be played in turn and the corresponding auxiliary display time periods, and further determines the free time duration corresponding to each advertisement time and the actual display time period of each video. Optionally, the server may also determine only the advertisement time first, and then determine the free time corresponding to the advertisement time, thereby determining each video to be carousel and the corresponding actual display time period.
It should be noted that, in the above embodiments of the present application, only the above steps 901 to 904, step 906, step 909, step 910, and step 914 are executed by one server in the advertisement presentation system. Optionally, the advertisement presentation system may also include a plurality of servers, and these steps may also be performed by the plurality of servers, respectively.
