Description

Pull-out hose arrangement with retraction unit
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a pull-out hose device including: a pull-out hose manipulably pulled out from a retracted position to an extended position by a user and automatically pulled in from the extended position to the retracted position; and a retracting unit provided to apply a pulling force to the pull-out hose in a direction of a retracted position of the pull-out hose.
The invention also relates to a sanitary washstand or sink arrangement having a washstand or sink base, a sanitary outflow fitting which is assigned to the washstand or sink base, and a pull-out hose arrangement of the type mentioned above for the sanitary outflow fitting (sanitae auslaufarmator), wherein the pull-out hose of the pull-out hose arrangement extends with at least one U-shaped hose bend in the washstand or sink base.
Background
Pull-out hose arrangements of this type are known in various embodiments, for example for sanitary vanity and wash-stand arrangements. The pull-out hose can be pulled out by a user from a retracted position to an extended position and then automatically returned from the extended position to the retracted position when the user allows a return movement. In order to automatically draw the pull-out hose from the extended position into the retracted position, a retraction unit is provided for applying a desired pulling force to the pull-out hose in the direction of the retracted position of the pull-out hose. Various embodiments are known for retraction units, for example in the form of a hose weight (schlauchgewich) mounted on the pull-out hose, see publication CH 695743 a5, or in the form of a movable roller which is inserted in a hose bend of the pull-out hose in a translationally movable manner against the force of gravity and/or spring, see publication DE 102015226412 a1 and utility model DE 202005019492U 1.
Publication US 2017/0096801 a1 discloses another pull-out hose arrangement of the above-mentioned type. In this device, the retraction unit is formed by at least one coiled strip spring with a constant restoring spring force, which is mounted in a freely rotatable manner with its coiled part in a cylindrical housing and is fixed with the strip end emerging from the housing, for example by means of a press fit, to a crimp sleeve (Crimphuelse), with which the retraction unit is fixed directly to the pull-out hose.

Disclosure of Invention
The invention is based on the object of providing a pull-out hose arrangement of the type mentioned above and a sanitary washstand or flushing stand arrangement equipped with such a pull-out hose arrangement.
The invention solves this problem by providing a pull-out hose arrangement having the features of claim 1 and a sanitary washstand or flushing stand arrangement having the features of claim 7.
In the pull-out hose arrangement according to the invention, the retraction unit comprises a spring pull-back roller and a retraction cord wound onto the spring pull-back roller in a windable and unwindable manner over a variable part of its length, wherein the retraction cord is coupled to the pull-out hose by means of a hose fixing part. The spring pull-back roller may be of a conventional type known per se and provides a spring force to the retraction cords which opposes the unwinding movement and thus acts in the winding direction. The retraction cord is coupled to the hose fastening section of the pull-out hose, and transmits the restoring force of the spring pull-out roller as a pulling force in the direction of the retracted position of the pull-out hose, wherein the retraction cord is unwound by pulling out the pull-out hose by the spring pull-out roller.
The use of a retraction cord has the advantage that the retraction unit can be constructed relatively compact and/or less complex and is also suitable for narrow space conditions of the pull-out hose arrangement. If required, the retraction cord can have a relatively small cross section or a small transverse dimension and can therefore follow the pull-out hose very easily even in relatively narrow hose passages, which may be formed on the associated stationary component, in order to thread the pull-out hose through the stationary component. The retraction cord has virtually no inherent stiffness by which it may interfere with the movement of the pull-out hose. On the other hand, the retraction cord can reliably transmit the spring force provided by the spring retraction roller as a pulling force to the pull-out hose for automatic retraction.
In a development of the invention, the pull-out hose arrangement comprises a cable attachment element releasably fastened to the pull-out hose, and the retraction cable is fastened with its hose attachment section to the cable attachment element. In such an embodiment, the retraction cord can be loosened from the pull-out hose by the cord securing member as desired.
In one embodiment of the invention, the cable attachment means is designed as a height-adjustable means on the pull-out hose arrangement. In this way, when the pull-out hose has respective vertically extending hose portions, the retraction cord can be selectively coupled to the pull-out hose at different heights.
In one embodiment of the invention, the cable attachment element is designed as a clamping element which can be clampingly fastened to the pull-out hose. This enables an advantageously simple and functionally reliable coupling of the retraction cable to the pull-out hose, wherein the clamping connection provided by the clamping member can be releasably or non-releasably implemented on the pull-out hose, as required.
In a development of the invention, the retraction unit has a roller housing which receives the spring retraction roller. In a corresponding embodiment, the roller housing has a passage opening for retracting the cord. The retraction cable can thereby be guided out of the roller housing through the passage opening and guided through the passage opening. In a further embodiment, the roller housing has a rotary mount for a shaft on which the spring-loaded roller is rotatably mounted. The shaft can thus advantageously be held in a simple rotationally fixed manner on the roller housing. In a further embodiment, the roller housing has a fastening flange for fastening to a stationary component. This makes it possible to fasten the roll housing to the stationary component concerned in a simple manner.
In a development of the invention, the roller housing has a U-shaped cross section. In one embodiment, the passage openings are formed in a semi-cylindrical housing region of the roll housing on the mantle surface side, the cross section of the roll housing being U-shaped. In a further embodiment, a rotational fastening for the shaft on the housing end side of the roller housing having a U-shaped cross section is formed. In a further embodiment, the fastening flange of the roller housing is remote from one or both of the opposite housing end sides on the open housing side of the roller housing, which is U-shaped in cross section, for fastening to the stationary component of the pull-out hose arrangement. These embodiments are advantageous both individually and in any combination with regard to the manufacturing effort and functionality of the retrieval unit.
In one embodiment of the invention, the spring-back roller comprises: a roller body, with which the spring pull-back roller is rotatably supported on the shaft; and a coil spring; and a cord wrap area; and a spring receiving area receiving the coil spring, wherein the cord winding area and the spring receiving area are arranged offset from each other in the axial direction. The coil spring is fixed in a rotationally fixed manner on the shaft by means of the radially inner end region and is connected in a rotationally fixed manner with the roller body by means of the radially outer end region. This shows a relatively easy-to-manufacture spring-back roller which can be constructed compactly and provides an advantageous pull-back function for pull-out hoses.
The sanitary washstand or rinsing stand arrangement according to the invention comprises a washstand or rinsing stand, a washstand or rinsing stand base, a sanitary outflow fitting assigned to the washstand or rinsing stand and a pull-out hose arrangement according to the invention for the sanitary outflow fitting. The pull-out hose extends in the washstand or wash-stand base in variable lengths with at least one U-shaped hose bend, and the retraction cord is coupled with its hose fastening section to a part of the U-shaped hose bend. In this way, the pull-out hose can be automatically returned from its extended position into its retracted position in a simple and functionally reliable manner.
In a development of the invention, the retraction unit is fastened with its roller housing to a wall of the washstand or wash stand base. The wall may be, for example, a bottom wall, a side wall, a rear wall, a front wall or a top wall of a washstand or sink base. The positioning of the retraction unit in the washstand or washstand base can be coordinated in a suitable manner by the structure of the pull-out hose arrangement with the position and orientation of the pull-out hose and in particular the U-shaped hose bend thereof.

Detailed Description
The sanitary washstand or wash stand arrangement, which is schematically illustrated in fig. 1 and 2 by the components of interest here, can be used, for example, for a bathroom washstand or kitchen wash stand and comprises a washstand or wash stand 1, a washstand or wash stand base 2, a sanitary outflow fitting 3 assigned to the washstand or wash stand 1 and a pull-out hose arrangement 4 with a pull-out hose 5 for the sanitary outflow fitting 3. In the example, the pull-out hose 5 can be pulled out with its operating-side end region 5a, which may comprise, for example, a shower head or a water flow regulating head (sprayer), from the retracted position shown in fig. 1 into the extended position shown in fig. 2 by the hollow fitting housing 3a of the outflow fitting 3, as is known per se to the person skilled in the art.
As long as this is not otherwise specified, the washstand 1, the washstand or wash-stand base 2 and the sanitary outflow fitting 3 are each of any type of construction known per se for this purpose and therefore no further description is necessary here. The outflow fitting 3 can be in particular a so-called washstand mixer fitting with a pull-out nozzle or a so-called kitchen rinse fitting with a pull-out nozzle, for example of the single-rod mixer type or of another conventional mixer type, respectively.
The pull-out hose 5 extends in the washstand or wash-stand base 2 with one or more U-shaped hose bends 5b of variable length, wherein the one or more U-shaped hose bends 5b in this example hang vertically downwards in the base 2 below the washstand or wash-stand 1. The pull-out hose arrangement 4 comprises a retraction unit 6 with a spring retraction roller 7 and a retraction cord 8 which is coupled with a hose fixing portion 8a to the pull-out hose 5, in the example in particular to a portion 5c of the U-shaped hose bend 5b or to a portion of one of a plurality of U-shaped hose bends. The fastening point for the retraction cord 8 on the pull-out hose 5 can be selected variably as appropriate, for example as shown, so that in the retracted position of the pull-out hose 5 the fastening point is still slightly above the lowest point of the U-shaped hose bend 5 concerned, for example in the fully retracted state only twice to ten times the outer diameter of the pull-out hose 5.
In the advantageous embodiment of fig. 3 to 7, the pull-out hose arrangement 4 is shown in more detail in its individual components. In this and other embodiments according to the invention, the pull-out hose arrangement is not only suitable for a washstand or wash-stand arrangement of the type according to fig. 1 and 2, but is alternatively suitable for other conventional sanitary and non-sanitary arrangements which are required for pull-out hose arrangements.
As already mentioned and also apparent from fig. 3 to 7, the pull-out hose arrangement 4 comprises a pull-out hose 5 and a retraction unit 6. The pull-out hose 5 can be pulled out by a user from a retracted position, as shown, for example, in fig. 1, into an extended position, as shown, for example, in fig. 2, by corresponding actuation and can be pulled in or pulled out from the extended position automatically, that is to say without a corresponding return force being required by the userReturning to the retracted position, as known per se to those skilled in the art of conventional pull-out hose arrangements. In fig. 1, 2 and 4, the extension of the pull-out hose 5 into the extended position or the extension movement is indicated by the pull-out direction arrow PASymbolically indicated, and the reverse return movement of the pull-out hose 5 to the retracted position, i.e. the pull-in or retraction movement, is by a reverse retraction direction arrow PEThe symbol representation is performed.
The retrieval unit 6 is provided for: applying a pulling force F to the pull-out hose 5 in the direction of its retracted positionZI.e. with arrow P parallel to the pull-in directionEA retraction force of the directional force component. To this end, the retraction unit 6 comprises a spring retraction roller 7 and a retraction cord 8, which retraction cord 8 is wound onto the spring retraction roller 7 in a windable and unwindable manner over a variable portion of its length. The retraction cord 8 is coupled to the pull-out hose 5 with a hose fixing portion 8 a. As is known per se to the person skilled in the art, the spring-back roller 7 can be embodied such that it has the desired properties with respect to the pull-out length of the retraction cord 8 for the retraction spring force provided by the spring-back roller, for example a restoring force which remains constant or which increases or decreases at least regionally as the pull-out length of the retraction cord 8 increases.
In the example, the retraction unit 6 has a roller housing 9 which receives the spring retraction roller 7 and with which it is fastened to the wall 2a of the washstand or wash stand base 2 in the application example of fig. 1 and 2. For example, as shown, the wall 2a may be a bottom wall of the base 2, alternatively a side, rear, front or top wall of the base 2. In an alternative embodiment, the spring-back roller 7 is arranged without a surrounding housing.
In a corresponding embodiment, as in the example, the pull-out hose arrangement 4 comprises a cord securing member 10 which is releasably fastened to the pull-out hose 5, wherein the retraction cord 8 is fastened with its cord securing portion 8a to the cord securing member 10. In alternative embodiments, the retraction cord 8 is coupled to the pull-out hose 5 in other ways, for example glued directly to the pull-out hose or wound around the pull-out hose and fastened to the pull-out hose by means of a buckle.
In the respective embodiment, as in the example, the cord securing member 10 is configured as a height-adjustable member on the pull-out hose 5, wherein the height adjustment can be effected steplessly or stepwise as required. In an alternative embodiment, the cable fixing means is designed as a means which can be fixed only at a single, defined height on the pull-out hose 5.
In a corresponding embodiment, as in the example, the cord securing member 10 is configured as a clamping member clampingly fastenable on the pull-out hose 5. In alternative embodiments, the cord securing means may be embodied in other ways, for example as means which can be fastened to the pull-out hose by means of an adhesive connection, a threaded connection or the like.
In the respective embodiment, as in the example, the roller housing 9 has a passage opening 11 for retracting the cord 8. In the illustrated embodiment, the roller housing 9 has a U-shaped cross section, wherein the passage openings 11 are formed in the semicylindrical housing region 9a of the roller housing 9 on the mantle surface side. In alternative embodiments, the roll shell has other types of cross-sections and/or the passage openings are formed at other locations of the roll shell 9, for example on the end side of the roll shell. The passage opening 11 may be appropriately chamfered on its opening edge as needed in order to exclude damage of the retrieval string 8 and to minimize frictional noise of the retrieval string 8 on the roller housing 9.
In the respective embodiment, as in the example, the retraction unit 6 comprises a shaft 12 on which the spring retraction roller 7 is rotatably supported. In the embodiment in which the retraction unit 6 has a roller housing 9, as in the example, the roller housing 9 optionally has a rotary mount 13 for the shaft 12. The rotational fixing 13 fixes the shaft 12 against rotation relative to the roller housing 9 and thereby prevents the shaft 12 from rotating with the spring-return roller 7. In the example, the rotary holder 13 is realized by a groove-shaped recess of the roller housing 9, into which a polygonal head 12a of the shaft 12 can engage in a rotationally fixed manner. In a corresponding embodiment, as shown, the rotation fixing 13 is formed on the shell end side 9b of the roll shell 9, in alternative embodiments the rotation fixing may be formed at other locations of the roll shell 9, for example on the mantle side.
In the respective embodiment, the roller housing 9 has, as in the example, a fastening flange 14 on the open housing side 9c of the roller housing 9, wherein the fastening flange 14 is remote from one housing end side or, as in the example, from two opposite housing end sides 9b, 9 d. In a corresponding embodiment, the roller housing 9 has a fastening flange 14 for fastening on a stationary component, for example on the wall of a washstand or wash stand base as in the application according to fig. 1 and 2.
In the respective embodiment, as in the example, the spring-return roller 7 has a roller body 7a which is mounted on the shaft 12 so as to be rotatable and a helical spring 7 b. The roller bodies 7a include, axially offset from each other: a cord winding area 15 onto which the retrieval cord 8 can be wound; and a spring receiving area 16 receiving the coil spring 7 b. The radially inner end region 17 of the helical spring 7b is fixed in a rotationally fixed manner on the shaft 12, which may have a spring retaining slot 12b, for example, into which the radially inner end region 12 of the helical spring 7b is inserted. The coil spring 7b is connected with the radially outer end region 18 in a rotationally fixed and/or force-fitting manner to the roller body 7a, for example.
As is apparent from the exemplary embodiments shown and explained above, the invention provides a pull-out hose arrangement which can be produced with relatively little effort, can be constructed compactly as required and is well suited to narrow space conditions. The pull-out hose arrangement according to the invention has advantageous functional properties and, by means of its special retraction unit, enables a pull-out hose which can be pulled out by a user from a retracted position into an extended position to be reliably and automatically pulled in from the extended position or returned into the retracted position. The pull-out hose arrangement does not require a hose counterweight and also does not require a movable roller to be inserted into the hose bend of the pull-out hose and does not require a spring element to be fastened directly to the pull-out hose. The retraction unit can be installed as a compact component at the respectively desired position. Depending on the installation position and orientation of the retraction unit, the retraction unit can specify the desired pulling direction for the pull-out hose. The pull-out hose can thereby be kept away from areas that might interfere with the pull-out hose, for example in the area of a dustbin, a drain, a water supply pipe and a base drawer in the case of a vanity or wash-stand base. The cord securing member may be provided in different materials (e.g., plastic or metal) and/or with different hose receiving diameters (for particular applications in pull-out hoses of different diameters) as desired. The pull-out hose arrangement according to the invention is very low-noise in operation. The retraction of the cord is virtually noiseless during its movement, and the rotating spring-back roller can also be implemented with very low noise.
