Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for operating an ultrasonic image and an ultrasonic imaging system.
In the field of medical ultrasonic imaging, medical ultrasonic diagnostic apparatuses have high requirements on experience and skill of users. From the process of scanning an object to be scanned by using an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus to the interpretation and diagnosis of the obtained ultrasonic image, an operator or a doctor usually needs to have more skills and experiences to obtain a good ultrasonic image meeting the diagnosis requirement and obtain a more accurate diagnosis result. Therefore, diagnosis using an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is a difficult task for a physician who has not undergone perfect training and has no good skill and experience in using the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.
Moreover, even physicians with very extensive skill and experience cannot guarantee an accurate diagnosis of all the conditions encountered, since the conditions of the patients vary widely.
With the development of network communication technology, remote diagnosis technology is applied in the field of medical ultrasonic imaging. Through modern communication networks, different experts located in different regions, cities and even countries can remotely scan and diagnose a case together to obtain more accurate diagnosis results.

FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a remote diagnostic system according to one embodiment of the present invention;
FIG. 2 is a flow chart illustrating a method of operating an ultrasound image in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention;
FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram of a remote diagnostic system in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention;
fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a remote diagnostic system according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, in one embodiment of the present invention, an overall system including a local terminal and a remote terminal may include a plurality of terminals, such as terminals 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of fig. 1, which communicate data via a network 1. Here, the "local terminal" and the "remote terminal" are referred to relative to each other. For example, in one embodiment, the local terminal may be terminal 2, in which case terminals 3, 4, 5, and 6 are remote terminals. Similarly, in an embodiment, the local terminal may also be the terminal 3, in which case the terminals 2, 4, 5 and 6 are remote terminals. And so on. Hereinafter, the present invention will be described by taking the terminal 2 or the terminal 3 as a local terminal as an example. However, as previously mentioned, the present invention is not limited to terminal 2 or terminal 3 being a local terminal. In other embodiments, the local terminal may be other terminals.
In an embodiment of the present invention, each terminal (e.g., terminal 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6) may be an ultrasound imaging system, an ultrasound image workstation or a server, or a conventional personal computer, a notebook computer, a tablet computer, a smart phone, or other suitable electronic devices. These terminals may be integrated or distributed.
In embodiments of the present invention, the network 1 may be any suitable wired or wireless communication network based on any suitable communication protocol, such as an internet network or a local area network, etc.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, in one embodiment, terminal 2 may be a local terminal. At this time, the local terminal 2 may acquire a local ultrasound image and may display the local ultrasound image on the local terminal, for example, on the display 21 of the local terminal in step 200.
Referring to fig. 3, in one embodiment, the local terminal 2 may be an apparatus for manipulating ultrasound images (e.g., a server or an ultrasound image workstation, etc.), which may include a processor 20 and a display 21, and may also include other peripheral devices such as a mouse, a keyboard, etc. The processor 20 may acquire local ultrasound images. The acquired local ultrasound images may be ultrasound images that have been previously obtained by the local ultrasound imaging system 7 or other remote ultrasound imaging system and stored in the local terminal 2 or in other memory. For example, in one embodiment, the ultrasound imaging system 7 may transmit ultrasound waves to the scan object through its probe, receive ultrasound echoes returned from the scan object to obtain ultrasound echo signals, and process the ultrasound echo signals to obtain an ultrasound image of the scan object. The ultrasound images may be stored in the ultrasound imaging system 7 or the local terminal 2 or in other memory, which may be read by the local terminal 2.
Referring to fig. 3, in one embodiment, terminal 3 may act as a local terminal. At this time, similarly, in step 200, the local terminal 3 may acquire a local ultrasound image, and may display the local ultrasound image on the local terminal, for example, on the display 31 of the local terminal. The local terminal 3 may itself be an ultrasound imaging system (described in more detail below).
In this embodiment, the local ultrasound image may be obtained by the local terminal 3 in advance and stored in the local terminal 3, or may be obtained by the local terminal 3 in real time.
Herein, the local ultrasound image may be a frozen image frame or an image video formed by a series of ultrasound images. In addition, the local ultrasound image may include, in addition to the ultrasound image of the scanning object, other information related to the ultrasound image, such as a UI interface corresponding to when the ultrasound imaging system obtains the ultrasound image, information of the scanning object, various parameters of the ultrasound image, and so on.
After obtaining the local ultrasound image, a processor (e.g., the aforementioned processor 20 or a processor of an ultrasound imaging system) may transmit duplicate images of the local ultrasound image to at least two remote terminals (e.g., terminals 4, 5, and 6 in fig. 1) for displaying the duplicate images on the at least two remote terminals, respectively, at step 201. The processor may send the duplicate image directly to a remote terminal or may forward it through an intermediate server. For example, in one embodiment, the processor may send the duplicate image to an intermediate server, and the server of the remote terminal may then connect to the intermediate server to read the duplicate image.
Accordingly, the remote terminal may receive a duplicate image of the local ultrasound image from the local terminal and display the duplicate image on a display of the remote terminal. For example, referring to fig. 3, remote terminal 4 may include a processor 40 and a display 41. The processor 40 may receive a duplicate image of the local ultrasound image from the local terminal and display the duplicate image on the display 41.
Here, the duplicate image may be a duplicate of the local ultrasound image, which may be identical to the local ultrasound image. The duplicate image may be obtained by duplicating image data of the local ultrasound image; alternatively, the duplicate image may be obtained by screen copying or screen capturing a display of a local terminal displaying the local ultrasound image; alternatively, the duplicate image may be obtained by sharing the image data of the local ultrasound image to the at least two remote terminals (e.g., providing the at least two remote terminals with access channels to access the image data of the local ultrasound image, etc.).
A duplicate image may be correspondingly transmitted to a remote terminal. These duplicate images may be displayed separately on each remote terminal after being transmitted to the remote terminal. In one embodiment, the display of the local ultrasound image on the local terminal and the display of each duplicate image on the respective remote terminal may be synchronized with each other.
In one embodiment, a local ultrasound image is displayed on a local terminal while duplicate images of the local ultrasound image are displayed on a plurality (at least two) of remote terminals. In this way, the local ultrasound images can be presented to the local user and the remote users on the local terminal and the remote terminals at the same time, and the presented contents are synchronized, so that the local user and the remote users can simultaneously and conveniently view the contents of the current local ultrasound images.
A user of a remote terminal may perform various operations on a duplicate image displayed on the remote terminal in viewing the duplicate image. At this time, the processor of the remote terminal (for example, the aforementioned processor 41 of the remote terminal 4) may receive an operation performed by its user on the duplicate image displayed thereon, and generate operation description data describing the operation according to the operation. The operation description data may describe an operation performed by a user of the remote terminal on the duplicate image displayed on the remote terminal. In one embodiment, the processor of the remote terminal may then transmit the operation description data to the local terminal for synchronous application of the operation to the local terminal in accordance with the operation description data. In addition, in one embodiment, the processor of the remote terminal may also directly transmit the operation description data to one or more other remote terminals for synchronously applying the operation to the one or more other remote terminals according to the operation description data. In one embodiment, the processor of the remote terminal may also transmit the operation description data to the local terminal and at least one other remote terminal for synchronously applying the operation to the local terminal and the at least one remote terminal according to the operation description data. As will be described in more detail below.
In step 202, the processor of the local terminal may receive the operation description data, and then, in step 203, the processor of the local terminal may apply, according to the operation description data, the operation performed by the user of the remote terminal on the duplicate image displayed on the remote terminal, which is described by the operation description data, to the local ultrasound image displayed on the local terminal and all the duplicate images displayed on the at least two remote terminals. For example, in one embodiment, the processor of the local terminal may receive the operation description data and transmit the operation description data to the other of the at least two remote terminals. The processor of the local terminal applies the operation described by the operation description data to the local ultrasonic data displayed on the local terminal according to the operation description data; the processor of the remote terminal receives the operation description data and applies the operation described by the operation description data to the replica ultrasound image displayed on the remote terminal according to the operation description data. Here, the processor of the remote terminal may receive the operation description data from the local terminal. Alternatively, in one embodiment, the remote terminal may receive the operation description data directly from other remote terminals without forwarding by the local terminal.
Therefore, the operation of the remote terminal user on the duplicate image displayed on the remote terminal can be conveniently applied to the local ultrasonic image displayed on the local terminal and the duplicate images displayed on other remote terminals, so that the user of the local terminal and the users of other remote terminals can conveniently see the operation performed by the user of the remote terminal and corresponding operation results, thereby facilitating information communication and understanding between the terminal users based on the local ultrasonic image and facilitating remote consultation discussion for the local ultrasonic image.
In one embodiment, the operations may be applied simultaneously to the local ultrasound image displayed on the local terminal and the duplicate images displayed on the at least two remote terminals. Accordingly, the operation result of the operation on the local ultrasound image and the operation result on the duplicate image are synchronously displayed on the local terminal and the at least two remote terminals respectively. Therefore, the users of the local terminal and the remote terminal can synchronously see the operation and the corresponding operation result, and the information communication and understanding between the users of the terminals are more convenient.
Herein, the "operation" may be any operation performed on the local ultrasound image or the replica image, such as adding a graphical symbol (e.g., an arrow, a rectangle, an ellipse, a straight line, etc.), tracing a target or tissue in the image, adding an annotation, adding or adjusting a volume bitmap, adding or adjusting a probe marker, performing a parameter measurement, adjusting an ROI region, zooming in or out of the image, adjusting an image parameter (e.g., a global gain, TGC, LGC, etc.), adjusting an operating parameter of the ultrasound imaging system with which the image is associated (e.g., a depth, a probe frequency, etc.), freezing the image, storing the image or storing a movie image, and so on.
As used herein, the term "describe" is meant to describe the foregoing operation. The operation description data may be data having a suitable form and format, containing suitable contents, so that the remaining terminals can reproduce the operation through the data. The operations described differ, and the corresponding operation description data may have different forms, formats, and/or contents. For example, when the operation is to add a graphic symbol, the operation description data may contain a description or code of the added graphic and a position (e.g., coordinates) of the added graphic; when operating to adjust the ROI region, the operation description data may contain a description of the shape and position of the ROI under adjustment; when the operation is to enlarge an image, the operation description data may contain a magnification of the image; when the operation is to freeze the image, the operation description data contains an image freezing instruction; and so on. In one embodiment, the operation description data may also be data obtained from a screen copy or screen capture of the currently described operation process.
Herein, the term "applying" an operation to an image or a device may refer to performing the operation on the image or on a remote terminal or corresponding ultrasound imaging system associated with the image. In the embodiment where the operation description data is data obtained by screen copying or screen capturing of the currently described operation procedure, the "application" may refer to displaying the operation description data on the corresponding terminal.
