The invention has the beneficial effects that:
(1) when the device is applied, rainwater flows through the first planting groove, then the soil layer and the gravel layer of the second planting groove and the third planting groove are respectively formed by the gravel layer of the first planting groove, and finally, redundant water is stored in the water storage area of the third planting groove, so that plants planted in the stepped planting groove can be effectively irrigated, and the normal growth of the plants cannot be influenced due to excessive water; the water stored in the water storage area is filtered by the circulating water tank, and the obtained purified water can be timely supplied to plants when the plants need to be irrigated, so that the water resource is saved, and the irrigation cost is reduced;
(2) the outer side wall of the third planting groove and the inclined frame are made into an integrally formed structure, so that rainwater falling into the planting groove can be prevented from falling onto the ground from the roof body, water resources are saved, the waterproof performance of the inclined frame can be effectively enhanced, the strength of the inclined frame is improved, and the service life of the roof body is prolonged;
(3) the first planting groove to the third planting groove are distributed in a stepped mode, different moisture supplies can be provided for plants in the planting grooves, and possibility is provided for plant diversity in the planting grooves with different heights.
