Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
Here, when a sign indicating a manufacturer name, a car name, or the like is attached to a vehicle body, the height of visibility is an important point. In the saddle-ride type vehicle as in patent document 1, although a vehicle body cover provided on the left and right sides in the vehicle width direction is considered, adhesion of dust and the like, reflection of light such as sunlight, and the like need to be considered in order to improve visibility.
An object of the present invention is to solve the above-described problems of the conventional art and to provide a saddle type vehicle in which the visibility of a signboard can be improved by improving the shape of a vehicle body cover.
Means for solving the problems
In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of the present invention is a saddle-ride type vehicle (1) provided with a vehicle body cover (25) that covers left and right sides of a vehicle body in a vehicle width direction at a position below a vehicle body of a seat (28), wherein the vehicle body cover (25) is provided with a sign attaching portion (60) for attaching a sign (80), and the sign attaching portion (60) is inclined so as to be positioned inward in the vehicle width direction as it goes downward.
In addition, the second characteristic is that a surface constituting the label attaching part (60) and a surface constituting the periphery of the label attaching part (60) are discontinuously formed, and the area of the label attaching part (60) is larger than the area of the label (80).
In addition, a third feature is that a visor portion (70) that protrudes outward in the vehicle width direction is formed at an edge portion of the sign attaching portion (60) on the vehicle body upper side.
In addition, a fourth feature is that a side stand is provided on either of the right and left sides of the vehicle body in the vehicle width direction
(23) The sign attaching portion (60) is kept in a state of being inclined so as to be positioned inward in the vehicle width direction as it faces downward even when the vehicle body is supported by the side bracket (23).
Further, a fifth characteristic is that at least a part of the surface of the tag (80) is mirror-finished.
In addition, according to a sixth aspect, the vehicle body cover (25) is painted with a metallic color, and the sign attaching portion (60) is formed of a curved surface that is convex outward in the vehicle width direction.
In addition, according to a seventh aspect, the label attaching section (60) is disposed above the rear seat footrest (27).
Effects of the invention
According to the first feature, in the saddle-ride type vehicle (1) in which the vehicle body cover (25) that covers the left and right sides in the vehicle width direction of the vehicle body is provided at the position below the vehicle body of the seat (28), the vehicle body cover (25) is provided with the sign attaching portion (60) for attaching the sign (80), and the sign attaching portion (60) is inclined so as to be positioned on the inner side in the vehicle width direction as facing downward of the vehicle body, so that dust and the like are less likely to adhere to the sign attached to the sign attaching portion, and are likely to fall off even when dust and the like adhere. This can maintain good visibility of the sign.
According to the second feature, since the surface constituting the label attaching portion (60) and the surface constituting the periphery of the label attaching portion (60) are formed discontinuously, and the area of the label attaching portion (60) is larger than the area of the label (80), a part of the label attaching portion and the outer shape of the label attaching portion can be observed from the outside of the vehicle body in a state where the label is attached. Thus, not only the label but also the label attaching portion can play a role as a design focus. In addition, since the label attachment portion is formed discontinuously with its periphery, contrast can be generated between the label attachment portion and its periphery by the change in light reflection such as sunlight, and, for example, even when sunlight irradiated to the label is weak, visibility of the label can be ensured by the contrast between the label attachment portion and its periphery.
According to the third feature, since the eaves portion (70) protruding outward in the vehicle width direction is formed at the edge portion of the sign attaching portion (60) on the vehicle body upper side, dust and the like falling from above the vehicle body can be prevented by the eaves portion, and adhesion of dust and the like to the sign can be further prevented. Further, when sunlight or the like is irradiated from above the vehicle body, the shape of the sign attaching portion can be made conspicuous by forming a shadow with the eaves portion.
According to the fourth feature, the side bracket (23) is provided on either the left or right side of the vehicle body in the vehicle width direction, and the sign attaching portion (60) is kept inclined so as to be positioned inward in the vehicle width direction as it goes downward even when the vehicle body is supported by the side bracket (23), so that the high visibility of the sign can be maintained even when the vehicle is parked using the side bracket.
According to the fifth feature, since at least a part of the surface of the sign (80) is mirror-finished, the appearance with a high-quality appearance is given to the sign, and the sign-attached portion is formed to be inclined toward the vehicle body lower side, light irradiated to the sign is reflected toward the vehicle body lower side, and the sign can be observed less likely to be dazzlingly and can be viewed with good visibility.
According to the sixth feature, since the vehicle body cover (25) is coated with a metallic color and the sign attaching portion (60) is formed by a curved surface that is convex outward in the vehicle width direction, the light applied to the sign attaching portion is diffused, so that the contrast with the surroundings of the metallic color is enhanced, and the visibility of the sign can be further improved.
According to the seventh feature, since the sign attaching portion (60) is disposed above the rear seat footrest (27), when the sign is disposed above the rear seat footrest, the sign is positioned so that the feet of the tandem rider easily hit the sign when the tandem rider straddles the bicycle, but the sign is attached to the sign attaching portion inclined so as to be positioned inward in the vehicle width direction as it goes toward the lower side of the vehicle body, and therefore, the feet can be hardly hit.

Further, the vehicle body cover 6 includes: a pair of left and right under covers 12 covering left and right under frames 13 from the side lower side, a pair of left and right rear side covers 25 covering the vehicle width direction outer sides of left and right rear frames 24, a front fender 9 covering the upper side of a front wheel WF, a rear fender 20 covering the rear upper side of a rear wheel WR, and an inner rear fender 18 covering the front upper side of the rear wheel WR. A tail lamp 21 is attached to the upper rear end of the rear fender 20, and a grab bar 29 is disposed between the seat 28 and the tail lamp 21.
A luggage box 30 capable of storing goods such as helmets and tools is disposed below the openable seat 28. The trunk 30 is disposed between the left and right rear frames 24, and the lower portion of the front end thereof is fixed to the upper portion of the cross frame 41. The seat 28 is swingably attached to a front end portion of the trunk 30, and functions as an opening/closing lid of the trunk 30. A battery B is disposed in a substantially central portion of the luggage 30. Further, an openable rear seat step 27 for the passenger is fixed to the left and right rear frames 24. The oil tank 22 is disposed below the low floor 38.
Fig. 2 is a partially enlarged left side view of the motorcycle 1. Fig. 3 is a partially enlarged perspective view of the motorcycle 1 as viewed from the rear upper side on the left side of the vehicle body. A coupling cover 50 for coupling the front end portions of the left and right side covers 25 is disposed below the front end portion of the seat 28. The filler lid 45 is openably and closably attached to a lower floor 47 rising upward from a front end of the low floor 38.
In the present embodiment, a label attaching portion 60 for attaching a label 80 is formed on a side cover 25 as a vehicle body cover that covers the rear frame 24 and the trunk 30 from the left and right in the vehicle width direction below the vehicle body of the seat 28.
The sign attaching portion 60 is formed of a concave portion slightly recessed inward in the vehicle width direction from the periphery, and has a shape in which the vertical width gradually increases from an acute angle portion on the vehicle front side toward the vehicle rear upper side when the vehicle body is viewed in side view. That is, the surface constituting the label attaching portion 60 and the surface constituting the periphery of the label attaching portion 60 are formed discontinuously. The area of label attaching portion 60 is larger than the area of label 80. The term "discontinuous" as used herein means that the ridge line has a significantly smaller curvature than the surface constituting the peripheral surface. The term "discrete body" is not intended to mean the discrete body 6, but may be a separate body.
Thus, in the state where sign 80 is attached, a part of sign attaching portion 60 and the outer shape of sign attaching portion 60 can be viewed from the outside of the vehicle body, and not only sign 80 but also sign attaching portion 60 can function as an important point of design. Further, since the label attaching portion 60 is formed discontinuously with the surroundings thereof, the degree of light reflection such as sunlight changes, and contrast can be generated between the label attaching portion 60 and the surroundings thereof, and for example, even when sunlight irradiated to the label is weak, visibility of the label 80 can be ensured by the contrast between the label attaching portion 60 and the surroundings thereof. A flange portion 70 extending outward in the vehicle width direction is formed at an edge portion of the sign attaching portion 60 on the vehicle body upper side.
Fig. 4 is a sectional view taken along line IV-IV of fig. 2. Fig. 5 is a partially enlarged view of fig. 4 showing the left-side signboard attachment portion 60 of the vehicle body. Fig. 4 shows a state in which the vehicle body is tilted to the left with respect to the road surface G by supporting the vehicle body by the side bracket 23 provided on the left side of the vehicle body.
A combination switch 46 having a dial type main switch and a seesaw type seat opener is disposed on the right side in the vehicle width direction of the upper floor 32 located below the handlebar cover 3. The side cover 25 formed of a thin-plate-shaped synthetic resin or the like is disposed so as to cover the vehicle width direction outer side of the trunk 30 and the rear frame 24.
In the present embodiment, sign attaching portion 60 is inclined so as to be positioned on the inside in the vehicle width direction as it goes toward the vehicle body lower side. This makes it difficult to attach dust or the like to the label 80 attached to the label attaching portion 60, and the label 80 can be kept visible because the label is easily detached even when dust or the like is attached.
When the vehicle body is supported by the side bracket 23 on the left side of the vehicle body, the sign attaching portion 60 on the right side of the vehicle body is inclined so as to be positioned on the inside in the vehicle width direction with the angle of inclination thereof being directed downward (downward in the vertical direction with respect to the road surface). This can maintain high visibility of the sign 80 even when the vehicle is parked using the side stand 23.
Further, by forming eaves 70 at the edge portion of sign attaching portion 60 on the vehicle body upper side, dust and the like falling from above the vehicle body can be blocked by eaves 70, and adhesion of dust and the like to sign 80 can be further prevented. When sunlight or the like is irradiated from above the vehicle body, the shape of the label attaching portion 60 can be made conspicuous by forming a shadow with the eaves portion 70.
Fig. 6 is a sectional view taken along line VI-VI of fig. 2. Fig. 7 is a partially enlarged view of fig. 6 showing sign attaching portion 60 on the left side of the vehicle body. The side cover 25 has a side surface portion that is shaped to contract inward in the vehicle width direction as it faces forward in the vehicle body. In contrast, the label attaching portion 60 has a surface discontinuous from its periphery and has a shape along the front-rear direction of the vehicle body. This makes it possible to make label attaching portion 60 conspicuous when label attaching portion 60 is viewed from the outside.
Fig. 8 is a partially enlarged view of fig. 7 showing sign attaching portion 60 on the left side of the vehicle body. The label 80 is adhered to the bottom surface 62 of the recess 61 provided in the side cover 25 along the outer shape of the label 80 by an adhesive. In the present embodiment, since the label attaching portion 60 is inclined, moisture and dust are less likely to accumulate at the upper end portion of the label 80, and the possibility of affecting the adhesive is reduced.
In the present embodiment, the side cover 25 is painted with a metallic color, and the sign attaching portion 60 is formed of a curved surface that is convex outward in the vehicle width direction. Thus, when light such as sunlight is applied to the label attaching portion 60, the light is diffused, and the contrast with the surroundings of the metal color is enhanced, thereby improving the visibility of the label.
In the present embodiment, the surface of the label 80 is mirror-finished. Thus, since the appearance with a high-quality appearance is given to the sign 80 and the sign attaching portion 60 is formed to be inclined toward the vehicle body lower side, the light irradiated to the sign 80 is reflected toward the vehicle body lower side, and the possibility that the sign 80 looks dazzling is reduced and good visibility can be obtained. The exposed surface of the sign 80 is also formed of a curved surface that is convex outward in the vehicle width direction, and thus, the sign 80 itself can be provided with a function of diffusing light.
The form of the motorcycle, the shape and structure of the side cover, the shapes of the sign attaching portion and the sign, the shape of the eaves portion, the material and surface finish of the sign, and the like are not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible. For example, although the above-described embodiments show a substantially rectangular signboard, the signboard may be in the shape of characters, a trademark, or the like indicating a vehicle name. The label attaching part and the structure of the label of the present invention are also applicable to a saddle-riding type tricycle, a four-wheeled vehicle, and the like.
