AMOLED(Active-matrix organic light emitting diode,有源矩阵有机发光二极管)是电流驱动器件,当有驱动电流流过有机发光二极管时,有机发光二极管发光,驱动电流一般由AMOLED像素驱动电路提供,像素驱动电路一般至少包括一个驱动TFT(ThinFilm Transistor,薄膜晶体管)、开关TFT和存储电容,开关TFT打开时,数据信号传输至驱动TFT的栅极,并存储于存储电容上,驱动TFT产生驱动电流,以驱动有机发光二极管发光。
目前,AMOLED手机产品上经常会出现低灰阶画面亮度不均匀的问题,例如从IC侧到另一侧亮度越来越低或从IC侧到另一侧亮度越来越高。在现有的AMOLED显示面板的设计中,所有子像素的电路设计是完全一致的。现有技术中的像素驱动电路一般包括扫描单元、发光单元和补偿单元,这些单元一般由薄膜晶体管和存储电容组成。如果制程中出现存储电容的绝缘层膜厚不均一或蒸镀过程中蒸镀膜厚不均一的情况,就会出现流过发光二极管的电流不均匀的情况,从而导致低灰阶画面亮度不均匀的问题。
发明内容
针对现有技术中的缺陷,本发明的目的在于提供一种显示母板、显示面板及显示面板的制备方法,针对制程不均匀引起的低灰阶画面亮度不均匀情况,进行存储电容的渐进式补偿,根据制程变异量进行存储电容大小调整,提高显示面板亮度均一性。
根据本发明的一个方面,提供一种显示母板,包括多排显示单元,各个所述显示单元包括多个发光元件和与所述发光元件一一对应的像素驱动电路,各个所述像素驱动电路包括一存储电容,各个所述显示单元包括相对的第一侧和第二侧,所述显示单元的第二侧为IC侧;
所述显示母板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述显示母板的第一侧边缘设置有第一排显示单元,所述显示母板的第二侧边缘设置有第二排显示单元;
从所述第一排显示单元的第二侧至第一侧,所述第一排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;
从所述第二排显示单元的第一侧至第二侧,所述第二排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大。
可选地,所述显示母板包括第一半板和第二半板,所述第一半板的尺寸和所述第二半板的尺寸分别与蒸镀设备的尺寸相对应;
所述第一半板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述第一半板的第一侧边缘设置有所述第一排显示单元,所述第一半板的第二侧边缘设置有第三排显示单元;
所述第二半板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述第二半板的第一侧边缘设置有第四排显示单元,所述第二半板的第二侧边缘设置有所述第二排显示单元;

S200:于所述基板上形成多排显示单元得到一显示母板,各个所述显示单元包括多排显示单元,各个所述显示单元包括多个发光元件和与所述发光元件一一对应的像素驱动电路,各个所述像素驱动电路包括一存储电容,各个所述显示单元包括相对的第一侧和第二侧,所述显示单元的第二侧为IC侧;
所述显示母板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述显示母板的第一侧边缘设置有第一排显示单元,所述显示母板的第二侧边缘设置有第二排显示单元;
所述第一排显示单元的第一侧对应所述显示母板的第一侧边缘,所述第一排显示单元的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积大于第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积;

S203:于所述第一半板的各个驱动阵列上方蒸镀形成多个发光元件,各个所述驱动阵列与对应的发光元件形成一显示单元;
S204:于所述第二半板的各个驱动阵列上方蒸镀形成多个发光元件,各个所述驱动阵列与对应的发光元件形成一显示单元;

与现有技术相比,本发明提出的显示母板、显示面板及显示面板的制备方法,针对制程不均匀引起的低灰阶亮度不均匀进行存储电容渐进式补偿,根据制程变异量进行存储电容大小调整,保证流过显示面板中各个发光二极管的电流基本一致,从而提高显示面板在低灰阶下的亮度均一性。

为了解决现有的显示面板亮度均匀性不佳的技术问题,本发明针对制程不均匀的问题采用存储电容渐进式补偿。根据制程变异量进行存储电容大小的调整。如果低灰阶时IC侧比较亮,则存储电容设计时远离IC侧存储电容设计值比较大,如果低灰阶时IC侧比较暗,则存储电容设计时靠近IC侧存储电容的设计值比较大。
电容的大小为:C=εS/4πkd,其中ε为一个常数,S为电容上下电极正对面积,d为电容极板之间的距离,主要由绝缘膜的厚度决定,k是静电力常亮。由于在生产过程中,绝缘膜的厚度往往是固定的,并且绝缘膜在制程过程中会出现不均匀的情况,在本发明中,改变存储电容的大小主要通过调整存储电容的上下电极正对面积。上下电极正对面积指的是电容的上电极板在平行于电极板的参考平面上的正投影的重叠部分的面积。
如图1所示,为一种像素驱动电路的电路图。其中包括七个晶体管T1~T7,晶体管T1的一端输入数据信号data,晶体管T1的栅极、晶体管T3的栅极均由第一扫描信号Sn控制,晶体管T5的栅极和晶体管T4的栅极均由使能信号En控制,晶体管T6的栅极由第二扫描信号Sn-1控制,晶体管T7的栅极由第三扫描信号Sn+1控制,发光二极管XD的一端接电源负信号ELVSS,另一端与晶体管T5连接,晶体管T4的一端输入电源正信号ELVDD,存储电容Cst连接于电源正信号ELVDD和第一节点N1之间。
如图2所示,本发明提供了一种显示母板1,包括多排显示单元,各个所述显示单元包括多个发光元件和与所述发光元件一一对应的像素驱动电路,各个所述像素驱动电路包括一存储电容,各个所述显示单元包括相对的第一侧和第二侧,所述显示单元的第二侧为IC侧,在图2中,各个所述显示单元的第一侧为上侧,第二侧为下侧;
所述显示母板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,在图2中分别为上边缘和下边缘,所述显示母板的第一侧边缘设置有第一排显示单元100,所述显示母板的第二侧边缘设置有第二排显示单元200。
在所述显示母板1的基板上沉积存储电容Cst的绝缘膜时,由于沉积设备和沉积环境的不稳定性,沉积得到的绝缘膜的厚度可能会不一致。具体表现在显示母板1的各个显示单元中的结构如下:
位于显示母板1的上边缘的第一排显示单元100,其第一侧对应显示母板1的第一侧边缘,第一排显示单元100靠近母板上边缘处的绝缘膜厚度会比较厚,即第一排显示单元100的第一侧比第二侧的绝缘膜要厚,为了补偿该绝缘膜的厚度偏差,对应调整存储电容Cst的电极正对面积,使得第一排显示单元100的第一侧的存储电容Cst的电极正对面积大于第二侧的存储电容Cst的电极正对面积。
位于显示面板1的下边缘的第二排显示单元200,其第二侧对应显示母板1的第二侧边缘,第二排显示单元200靠近母板下边缘处的绝缘膜厚度会比较厚,即第二排显示单元200的第二侧比第一侧的绝缘膜要厚,为了补偿该绝缘膜的厚度偏差,对应调整存储电容Cst的电极正对面积面积,使得第二排显示单元200的第二侧的存储电容Cst的电极正对面积大于第一侧的存储电容Cst的电极正对面积。
在该实施例中,从所述第一排显示单元100的第二侧至第一侧,所述第一排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;从所述第二排显示单元200的第一侧至第二侧,所述第二排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大,即存储电容在补偿时是渐进式补偿的。
如图3和图4所示,在该实施例中,所述显示母板1还包括第一半板11和第二半板12,所述第一半板的尺寸11和所述第二半板12的尺寸分别与蒸镀设备的尺寸相对应。在显示母板11上蒸镀形成发光器件时,如果显示母板11面积比较大,可以首先将显示面板11中间对切,得到第一半板11和第二半板12,然后分别将第一半板11和第二半板12进行蒸镀。
如图3所示,所述第一半板11包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,在图3中分别是上边缘和下边缘,所述第一半板11的第一侧边缘设置有所述第一排显示单元100,所述第一半板11的第二侧边缘设置有第三排显示单元300。
如图4所示,所述第二半板12包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,在图4中分别是上边缘和下边缘,所述第二半板12的第一侧边缘设置有第四排显示单元400,所述第二半板的第二侧边缘设置有所述第二排显示单元200。
在蒸镀过程中,由于蒸镀设备和蒸镀环境的不确定性,蒸镀得到的OLED发光层的膜厚也存在不均匀的问题,发光层的膜厚不均匀也会带来亮度不均一性。具体地,在各个半板中,上下边缘处的显示单元影响尤其大。
因此,在该实施例中,进一步对第三排显示单元300和第四排显示单元400的存储电容进行补偿。所述第三排显示单元300的第二侧对应所述第一半板11的第二侧边缘,第三排显示单元300的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积大于第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积,进一步地,从所述第三排显示单元300的第一侧至第二侧,所述第三排显示单元300的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;所述第四排显示单元400的第一侧对应所述第二半板12的第一侧边缘,第四排显示单元400的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积大于第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积,进一步地,从所述第四排显示单元400的第二侧至第一侧,所述第四排显示单元400的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大。
如图3和4所示,在该实施例中,所述第一半板11还包括位于所述第一排显示单元100和所述第三排显示单元300之间的第五排显示单元500;所述第二半板12还包括位于所述第二排显示单元200和所述第四排显示单元400之间的第六排显示单元600。由于第五排显示单元500和第六排显示单元600受绝缘膜厚和蒸镀膜厚的影响较小,可以不对这两排显示单元进行存储电容补偿,即在该实施例中,所述第五排显示单元的各个存储电容的电极正对面积彼此相同,所述第六排显示单元的各个存储电容的电极正对面积彼此相同。
然而,本发明不限于此。在该实施例中,仅示出了一排第五排显示单元500和一排第六排显示单元600,然而对于更大的显示母板来说,第一排显示单元100和第三排显示单元300之间可能存在不止一排第五排显示单元500,第二排显示单元200和第四排显示单元400之间也可能是存在不止一排第六排显示单元600。当第五排显示单元500和第六排显示单元600的排数很多时,靠近半板边缘或母板边缘的显示单元也可能会受到比较大的绝缘膜厚影响或蒸镀膜厚影响,也可以根据上面的规律进行存储电容的补偿,均属于本发明的保护范围之内。
在该实施例中,所述第一排显示单元100的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第一排显示单元100的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%;所述第二排显示单元200的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第二排显示单元200的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%。
进一步地,对于比较小的显示单元,两侧的存储电容的电极正对面积差值可以在1%~5%左右,对于比较大的显示单元,两侧的存储电容的电极正对面积差值可以在5%~10%左右。但本发明不限于此,采用其他数值范围也是可以的,均属于本发明的保护范围之内。
同样地,在该实施例中,所述第三排显示单元300的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第三排显示单元300的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%;所述第四排显示单元400的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第四排显示单元400的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%。进一步地,对于比较小的显示单元,两侧的存储电容的电极正对面积差值可以在1%~5%左右,对于比较大的显示单元,两侧的存储电容的电极正对面积差值可以在5%~10%左右。但本发明不限于此,采用其他数值范围也是可以的,均属于本发明的保护范围之内。
存储电容的电极正对面积的改变可以有多种实施方式,下面列出一些实施方式,但可理解的是,本发明不限于此。
(1)如果存储电容的第一电极和第二电极分别由半导体层和第一栅极金属层形成,则可以通过改变:
(1.1)半导体层的线宽或半导体层的形状或同时改变半导体层的线宽与形状;
(1.2)第一栅极金属层的线宽或第一栅极金属层的形状或同时改变第一栅极金属层的线宽与形状;
(1.3)同时改变半导体层和第一栅极金属层的线宽和/或形状。
(2)如果存储电容的第一电极和第二电极分别由半导体层和第二栅极金属层形成,则可以通过改变:
(2.1)半导体层的线宽或半导体层的形状或同时改变半导体层的线宽与形状;
(2.2)第二栅极金属层的线宽或第一栅极金属层的形状或同时改变第二栅极金属层的线宽与形状;
(2.3)同时改变半导体层和第二栅极金属层的线宽和/或形状。
(3)如果存储电容的第一电极和第二电极分别由第一栅极金属层和第二栅极金属层形成,则可以通过改变:
(3.1)第一栅极金属层的线宽或第一栅极金属层的形状或同时改变第一栅极金属层的线宽与形状;
(3.2)第二栅极金属层的线宽或第一栅极金属层的形状或同时改变第二栅极金属层的线宽与形状;
(3.3)同时改变第一栅极金属层和第二栅极金属层的线宽和/或形状。
(4)如果存储电容是通过半导体层、第一绝缘层、第一栅极金属层、第二绝缘层和第二栅极金属层形成的,则可以通过改变:
(4.1)半导体层的线宽或半导体层的形状或同时改变半导体层的线宽与形状;
(4.2)第一栅极金属层的线宽或第一栅极金属层的形状或同时改变第一栅极金属层的线宽与形状;
(4.3)第二栅极金属层的线宽或第一栅极金属层的形状或同时改变第二栅极金属层的线宽与形状;

本发明实施例还提供一种显示面板,包括由显示母板切割得到的一个显示单元。显示面板可以包括第一排显示单元100中的一个显示单元110,也可以包括第二排显示单元200中的一个显示单元210,或第三排显示单元300、第四排显示单元400、第五排显示单元500、第六排显示单元600中的一个显示单元。
如图5所示,示出了包括第一排显示单元100中一个显示单元110的显示面板。该显示单元110包括相对的第一侧111和第二侧112,第二侧112为IC侧,从显示单元110的第二侧112到第一侧111,存储电容Cst的电极正对面积逐渐增大,以对亮度均一性进行补偿。
如图6所示,示出了包括第二排显示单元200中一个显示单元210的显示面板。该显示单元210包括相对的第一侧211和第二侧212,第二侧212为IC侧,从显示单元210的第一侧211到第二侧212,存储电容Cst的电极正对面积逐渐增大,以对亮度均一性进行补偿。
经过测试,第一排显示单元100和第二排显示单元200在未采用本发明的存储电容补偿方式时,亮度均匀性小于65%,在经过本发明的存储电容补偿方式后,电流均匀性大于85%,亮度均匀性大于76%,得到了很大提升,第三排显示单元300和第四排显示单元400的亮度均匀性可以从小于80%提升到大于80%。
如图7所示,本发明实施例还提供一种显示面板的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
S100:提供一基板;
S200:于所述基板上形成多排显示单元得到一显示母板,各个所述显示单元包括多个发光元件和与所述发光元件一一对应的存储电容,各个所述显示单元包括相对的第一侧和第二侧,所述显示单元的第二侧为IC侧;
所述显示母板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述显示母板的第一侧边缘设置有第一排显示单元,所述显示母板的第二侧边缘设置有第二排显示单元;
所述第一排显示单元的第一侧对应所述显示母板的第一侧边缘,所述第一排显示单元的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积大于第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积;
所述第二排显示单元的第二侧对应所述显示母板的第二侧边缘,所述第二排显示单元的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积大于第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积;
S300:切割所述显示母板得到多个显示面板,各个所述显示面板包括一个所述显示单元。
进一步地,所述第一排显示单元的第一侧对应所述显示母板的第一侧边缘,从所述第一排显示单元的第二侧至第一侧,所述第一排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;
所述第二排显示单元的第二侧对应所述显示母板的第二侧边缘,从所述第二排显示单元的第一侧至第二侧,所述第二排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大。
在该实施例中,所述步骤S200于所述基板上形成多排显示单元得到一显示母板,包括如下步骤:
S201:于所述基板上形成多排驱动阵列,各个所述驱动阵列包括多个像素驱动电路,各个所述像素驱动电路包括一存储电容;
S202:切割所述基板,得到第一半板和第二半板;
S203:于所述第一半板的各个驱动阵列上方蒸镀形成多个发光元件,各个所述驱动阵列与对应的发光元件形成一显示单元;
S204:于所述第二半板的各个驱动阵列上方蒸镀形成多个发光元件,各个所述驱动阵列与对应的发光元件形成一显示单元;
所述第一半板包括设置于第一侧边缘的第一排显示单元和设置于第二测边缘的第三排显示单元,所述第三排显示单元的第二侧对应所述第一半板的第二侧边缘,从所述第三排显示单元的第一侧至第二侧,所述第三排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;

综上所述,与现有技术相比,本发明提出的显示母板、显示面板及显示面板的制备方法,针对制程不均匀引起的低灰阶亮度不均匀进行存储电容渐进式补偿,根据制程变异量进行存储电容大小调整,保证流过显示面板中各个发光二极管的电流基本一致,从而提高显示面板在低灰阶下的亮度均一性。

1.一种显示母板,其特征在于,包括多排显示单元,各个所述显示单元包括多个发光元件和与所述发光元件一一对应的像素驱动电路,各个所述像素驱动电路包括一存储电容,各个所述显示单元包括相对的第一侧和第二侧,所述显示单元的第二侧为IC侧;
所述显示母板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述显示母板的第一侧边缘设置有第一排显示单元,所述显示母板的第二侧边缘设置有第二排显示单元;
从所述第一排显示单元的第二侧至第一侧,所述第一排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;
从所述第二排显示单元的第一侧至第二侧,所述第二排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示母板,其特征在于,所述显示母板包括第一半板和第二半板,所述第一半板的尺寸和所述第二半板的尺寸分别与蒸镀设备的尺寸相对应;
所述第一半板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述第一半板的第一侧边缘设置有所述第一排显示单元,所述第一半板的第二侧边缘设置有第三排显示单元;
所述第二半板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述第二半板的第一侧边缘设置有第四排显示单元,所述第二半板的第二侧边缘设置有所述第二排显示单元;
所述第三排显示单元的第二侧对应所述第一半板的第二侧边缘,从所述第三排显示单元的第一侧至第二侧,所述第三排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;
所述第四排显示单元的第一侧对应所述第二半板的第一侧边缘,从所述第四排显示单元的第二侧至第一侧,所述第四排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大。
3.根据权利要求2所述的显示母板,其特征在于,所述第一半板还包括位于所述第一排显示单元和所述第三排显示单元之间的第五排显示单元;
所述第二半板还包括位于所述第二排显示单元和所述第四排显示单元之间的第六排显示单元;
所述第五排显示单元的各个存储电容的电极正对面积彼此相同;
所述第六排显示单元的各个存储电容的电极正对面积彼此相同。
4.根据权利要求1所述的显示母板,其特征在于,所述第一排显示单元的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第一排显示单元的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%;
所述第二排显示单元的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第二排显示单元的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%。
5.根据权利要求2所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述第三排显示单元的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第三排显示单元的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%;
所述第四排显示单元的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积相比于所述第四排显示单元的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积增大1%~10%。
6.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括一个如权利要求1至5中任一项所述的显示单元。
7.一种显示面板的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
S100:提供一基板;
S200:于所述基板上形成多排显示单元得到一显示母板,各个所述显示单元包括多排显示单元,各个所述显示单元包括多个发光元件和与所述发光元件一一对应的像素驱动电路,各个所述像素驱动电路包括一存储电容,各个所述显示单元包括相对的第一侧和第二侧,所述显示单元的第二侧为IC侧;
所述显示母板包括相对的第一侧边缘和第二侧边缘,所述显示母板的第一侧边缘设置有第一排显示单元,所述显示母板的第二侧边缘设置有第二排显示单元;
所述第一排显示单元的第一侧对应所述显示母板的第一侧边缘,所述第一排显示单元的第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积大于第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积;
所述第二排显示单元的第二侧对应所述显示母板的第二侧边缘,所述第二排显示单元的第二侧的存储电容的电极正对面积大于第一侧的存储电容的电极正对面积;
S300:切割所述显示母板得到多个显示面板,各个所述显示面板包括一个所述显示单元。
8.根据权利要求7所述的显示面板的制备方法,其特征在于,从所述第一排显示单元的第二侧至第一侧,所述第一排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;
从所述第二排显示单元的第一侧至第二侧,所述第二排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大。
9.根据权利要求8所述的显示面板的制备方法,其特征在于,步骤S200中,于所述基板上形成多排显示单元得到一显示母板,包括如下步骤:
S201:于所述基板上形成多排驱动阵列,各个所述驱动阵列包括多个像素驱动电路,各个所述像素驱动电路包括一存储电容;
S202:切割所述基板,得到第一半板和第二半板;
S203:于所述第一半板的各个驱动阵列上方蒸镀形成多个发光元件,各个所述驱动阵列与对应的发光元件形成一显示单元;
S204:于所述第二半板的各个驱动阵列上方蒸镀形成多个发光元件,各个所述驱动阵列与对应的发光元件形成一显示单元;
所述第一半板包括设置于第一侧边缘的第一排显示单元和设置于第二测边缘的第三排显示单元,所述第三排显示单元的第二侧对应所述第一半板的第二侧边缘,从所述第三排显示单元的第一侧至第二侧,所述第三排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大;
所述第二半板包括设置于第一侧边缘的第四排显示单元和设置于第二侧边缘的第二排显示单元,所述第四排显示单元的第一侧对应所述第二半板的第一侧边缘,从所述第四排显示单元的第二侧至第一侧,所述第四排显示单元的存储电容的电极正对面积逐渐增大。
10.根据权利要求9所述的显示面板的制备方法,其特征在于,所述第一半板还包括位于所述第一排显示单元和所述第三排显示单元之间的第五排显示单元;
所述第二半板还包括位于所述第二排显示单元和所述第四排显示单元之间的第六排显示单元;
所述第五排显示单元的各个存储电容的电极正对面积彼此相同;
所述第六排显示单元的各个存储电容的电极正对面积彼此相同。
