The invention discloses a waterproof fabric which comprises the following components in parts by weight: the fabric comprises an outer layer, a middle layer and an inner layer, wherein the outer layer comprises first warp yarns and first weft yarns which are interwoven, the inner layer comprises second warp yarns and second weft yarns which are interwoven, and the middle layer comprises third weft yarns, fourth weft yarns and fifth weft yarns which are interwoven with the first warp yarns and the second warp yarns; the first warp yarn comprises a ground warp and a bubble warp, the sum of the covering coefficients of the yarns of the outer layer is higher than 2600, and the yarns in the fabric are all high-twist artificial fibers. In addition, the preparation process is disclosed as follows: warping → twisting → slashing → drafting and denting → weaving → dyeing → washing → overflow finishing → overfeeding soft sizing → air current soft finishing → waterproof fabric.
