一种锂电池电极浆料喷涂机
技术领域
本发明属于机械领域,涉及一种锂电池生产设备,具体涉及一种锂电池电极浆料喷涂机。
背景技术
锂电池的电极都是通过在基体上喷涂电极浆料固化后形成电极,对于电极制作,通常是通过圆柱形的电极箔辊将作为电极基体的铝箔或铜箔绷紧在表面,在电极箔辊侧面利用条形喷枪对电极箔喷涂浆料形成电极,喷涂浆料中通常含有三元材料,碳黑,PVDF等材料,喷出的浆料为糊状,喷涂温度较高。
对于外观为圆柱形的卷制电池,单片电极箔的长度大约4-8米,电极箔末端需要连接导线引出,不能喷涂浆料,因此对于卷制电池的电极制作,喷涂浆料为间歇进行,一般来说,不喷涂浆料区域的宽度大约10-40毫米范围内,由于喷涂浆料为间隙进行,浆料流不连续,在间断处由于外界气温低于浆料且空气环境中含有部分水气,综合作用下,每次间断时容易产生微量成分固化沉积在喷嘴,这些微量固化成分如果不能及时去除或清理,在连续多次间断后不断累积变厚,最终可能形成达到亚毫米级别的固化颗粒,这些变大的固化颗粒如果被喷涂浆料带到电极上,肉眼不易发现,而且这些颗粒导致电池电极卷制后刺穿并完全短路,形成严重的安全隐患,对于生产厂家,这些产品实质已经报废并必须召回。
发明内容
为克服现有技术存在的技术缺陷,本发明公开了一种锂电池电极浆料喷涂机。
本发明所述锂电池电极浆料喷涂机,包括电极箔辊和位于电极箔辊下方的喷料机,所述喷料机包括喷嘴,所述喷嘴由一对走向与电极箔辊轴向平行的唇板组成,一对唇板中央形成喷缝,所述喷缝连接有送料泵;
所述电极箔辊上与所述喷缝最接近的位置为喷点,所述喷缝所处平面穿过所述电极箔辊的转轴线并垂直于经过所述喷点的切线。
优选的,所述喷缝的侧面具有多个收纳槽,所述收纳槽截面成弧形。
优选的,所述唇板截面为半锥形。
采用本发明所述的锂电池电极浆料喷涂机,通过在底部设置浆料喷嘴,改变浆料送料和喷涂方向,可以有效消除固化颗粒的形成,提高电池生产合格率。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图,对本发明的具体实施方式作进一步的详细说明。
本发明所述锂电池电极浆料喷涂机,包括电极箔辊1和位于电极箔辊下方的喷料机,所述喷料机包括喷嘴,所述喷嘴由一对走向与电极箔辊轴向平行的唇板2组成,一对唇板中央形成喷缝3,所述喷缝连接有送料泵4;
所述电极箔辊上与所述喷缝最接近的位置为喷点5,所述喷缝所处平面穿过所述电极箔辊的转轴线并垂直于经过所述喷点的切线。
现有技术中,电极箔辊被电机驱动转动,电极箔7绕电极箔辊1被牵引传送,喷嘴位于电极箔辊侧面,位于侧面对于送料泵所需动力较低,但在进行如背景技术所述的间歇性喷涂时,由于气温和空气湿度影响,容易在喷缝内部末端沉积固体颗粒,严重时会堆积在喷缝的口部,申请人检测发现这些固体颗粒的主要成分是PVDF(聚偏氟乙烯)吸水结晶而成,PVDF结晶颗粒如果被浆料流带到电极箔表面,意味着该批次电极箔报废。
如图1所示为电极箔辊和喷嘴的一个剖面图,电极箔辊和喷嘴的走向垂直于纸面;本申请中,将喷嘴设置在电极箔辊下方,喷缝竖直向上并垂直于所述喷点切线,浆料流从下向上喷涂,在喷涂方向改变的情况下,即使在喷涂间歇有少量浆料粘附在喷缝表面,受到重力影响,容易向下回流摊薄,难以持续累积厚度,实验发现,浆料中PVDF的结晶需要浆料累积达到一定厚度,并配合适当的温度和湿度才会发生,在喷缝方向竖直向下以后,浆料厚度难以持续增加。
浆料厚度难以增加,也使得粘附残留在喷缝内的浆料层变薄,在间歇性喷射浆料的作用下,变薄的沉积浆料层容易被喷射流动的浆料流自身温度加热,重新恢复到正常粘稠状态的浆料,随浆料流重新喷出,进一步破坏了沉积料的累积。
采用竖直向上的喷缝,即使形成固体结晶,固体结晶受自身竖直重力影响,也难以被浆料流带出喷缝并喷射到电极箔表面,固体结晶还可能在喷涂间隙松动并通过喷缝掉落到下方的送料泵的储料腔室内,储料腔室内存在大量较高温度的浆料且为基本密封状态,这些固体结晶在腔室内也可以重新被加热脱水还原为原始PVDF成分。
所述电极箔辊上与所述喷缝最接近的位置为喷点5,所述喷缝所处平面穿过所述电极箔辊的转轴线并垂直于经过所述喷点的切线,使喷涂方向始终垂直于喷点切线,避免浆料喷涂后在喷点上二次运动造成厚度大小不一。
如图1所示,所述喷缝的侧面具有多个收纳槽,所述收纳槽截面成弧形,对可能短暂形成的固体颗粒或凝聚物,在没有浆料流时,可能自然下落,由于浆料喷射间隔时间极短,一般在毫秒级别,在下落过程中可能被后续喷出的浆料流推离中轴线并在收纳槽中停留,并被连续喷射的浆料热量加热重新恢复成液态浆料利用,弧形便于浆料的涌入和流出。
如图1所示,唇板截面优选为半锥形,可以避免固态物质在喷口处堆积并落入喷缝。
采用本发明所述的锂电池电极浆料喷涂机,通过在底部设置浆料喷嘴,改变浆料送料和喷涂方向,可以有效消除固化颗粒的形成,提高电池生产合格率。

1.一种锂电池电极浆料喷涂机,其特征在于,包括电极箔辊和位于电极箔辊下方的喷料机,所述喷料机包括喷嘴,所述喷嘴由一对走向与电极箔辊轴向平行的唇板组成,一对唇板中央形成喷缝,所述喷缝连接有送料泵;
所述电极箔辊上与所述喷缝最接近的位置为喷点,所述喷缝所处平面穿过所述电极箔辊的转轴线并垂直于经过所述喷点的切线。
2.如权利要求1所述的锂电池电极浆料喷涂机,其特征在于,所述喷缝的侧面具有多个收纳槽,所述收纳槽截面成弧形。
